Personality: As a person Kuro is difficult to handle, not only has he a split personality, no, both of them are annoying in their own right. But let's start with his standard personality that is relevant most of the time. One could call Kuro an egoistical asshole. At his young age, he has forgotton how to care for others, finding no warmth in other or conversing with anyone particular. What he instead likes, is to watch them a analyze them, that would be the only way one could claim he has a love for humans, just noone particular. But more then watching, he also likes to evoke emotions, causing love and pain however he sees fit. Fear, anger and panic are the types of emotions he like the most though, since he can't seem to feel them himself anymore, he wants to experience them through this way. This isn't to say that he is an idiot who goes around hurting people though. He just is unpredictable, the true difficulty handling a man without goals or fear. Most of his interactions are based on conversations to even find someone interesting in whom he could put his trust to show great emotion. Yes, as stated the emotion loving is tied to watching peoples behaviour, which means eve if he doesn't do anything, just watching someone struggle or fight or even be happy, can make him content. Talking to Kuro, on will notice that he always seems calm, more of a thinker then a fighter and that he often follows logic over emotion, which is also caused by his damaged empathy and emotions themselves. One could say that he himself, while being more then a little psychotic, is the one of the two personalities who is able to feel and relate to positive emotions, but not negative ones. Kuro is also pretty curious in finding out about all kinds of new things, be it magic, stories or just watching his surroundings. Instead of getting into fights himself or as previously mentioned, causeing negative emotions, he likes to let someone else do the job.
Now then, on to the worse of both personalities. Worse, because he lacks restraint, where as Kuro can behave like a good person atleast on the outside for the most part, Shiro is a selfdestructive Sadist who loves nothing more then to hurt whoever seems to look at him the wrong way. Gladly, Shiro is locked away inside Kuro and only comes out when there is blood drawn, which means that when Kuro sees blood, he slowly turns into Shiro, his hair slowly turning white. In the process of turning, Kuro stil keeps consciousness, able to slow down turning into Shiro or even stop it as long as he himself doesn't taste blood or gets hurt himself. If one if the prior things happen, he wil turn almost immediately. As mentioned, Shiro is - despite their ironic names - the dark side of Kuro, being only driven by hatered, pain and even fear. He is just like someone mae to destroy, caring not for friend or foe. Shiro will prevail until he either looses consciousness, or until her runs himself low on energy, where he will turn back to Kuro. Kuro an Shiros condition was caused by being tortured by wannabee mages who thought they could summon a demon. They weren't succesful in summoning an actual one, but after all the turtore and a spit personality, they had shiro, a guy who behaves like a demon. If one were to prevent Shiro from moving and forced him, or atleast tried, to get to a conversation to him, he would mostly spout insults and try to talk his captor into letting him free - which is not a good idea - even pretending to behave himself.
As for the fights... Well there is two versions aswell, but it is easy to keep it short for Shiro, since he doesn't care for plans and orders and is only interested in destroying what he can get in range. Shiro is also nowehere near to abe to control his energy output, nor does he care in any way for his own wellbeing. Kuro on the otherside, likes to stay at the outskirts of a battle, or atleast keep his enemy on distance, since for one he wants to stay sane and not turn into Shiro and otherwise since he himself is not build for constant close or even hand to hand combat. Kuro tries to outsmart his opponents, definetely not to shy to use traps or distractions. Teamwork is fine with Kuro, although he likes to be the one to lay out the plan. He will only follow a plan if he has faith in it working, which can cause him to not listen to superiors. As a leade himself he will try to keep any loss to a minimum if not to zero, especially seen for humans, he doesn't care about loosing a life, but he does care about a death weakening the fighting force. Also, he is to proud of his own ability to plan and think, that he would not let anyone die, afterall that would be him failing as a leader and failure is not acceptable to him.
Likes:
1. Books, newspapers and all other sources of informations - The reason should be obvious, but he likes to know about everything that is happening in the world and how it works. Information and knowledge is key.
2. Humans - Analyzing, toying with them, causing emotions. All of this is his favorite pasttime. Even just being sarcastic.
3. Salty snacks - He likes to eat those in his freetime over anything else.
Dislikes:
1. Dirt - Because who likes getting dirty? Certainly not this Mage.
2. Animals - Even more so wil ones then domesticated ones, but to him, they are all dirty. So he doesn't like them and in turn, they don't aswell because they seem to sense his nature.
3. Coldness - What to say? He hates cold regions and is weak to it. Also gets colds/sick really fast.
Motivations:
1. Fun - That is his greatest Motivation right now as it serves to enjoy himself on his journey of finding his reason of still being alive.
2. Humans - Going hand in hand with the other two Motivations. He loves to meet new people learn things about and from them.
3. Confirmation - He is looking for a place to stay, maybe even call home, someone who needs him or generally something in life that feels worth living for.
Fears:
1. Loss of control over his decisions - Being trapped for a longer time, unabe to move or do anything, worst would be if he couldn't die and just has to stay like he is for eternity.
2. Losing the last of his emotions - He likes being human and having some emotions left, loosing that would most likely change him or lead him to insanity.
3. Shiro - Yep, he is scared of himself, or rather his other side, goes in hand with loss of control and the fear of not knowing what happens if he looses himself.

Hair: Kuro has short black hair, with medium length bangs hanging around and over his eyes. It is often unkempt and looks a little messy. Turning to Shiro, his hair turns white and seems to become even messier.
Eyes: Kuro has a form of heterochromia due to magic and having a split personality, where as the right eye is a foggy grey, the left is a burning red which is accompanied by a black sclera. As a fact, the grey eye has lower then average sight and the red eye is better then average, making it difficult to Kuro to see with both eyes at once, which is why often one is hidden - also because it seems suspicious.
Skin Tone: Kuro has a light, almost pale complexion.
Appearance:
Kuro is a young man in his early twenties with a decent to good look, nothing to faint over, but also far from ugly and he honestly doesn't care much for how others perceive his looks. His hair is usualy a unkempt mess of black, but atleast kept short and clean which makes him keep his decent looks. His face is rather regular with an average nose and not to hard or soft features in structure, yet the eyepatch he wears over his red eye is intriguing enough to make him stand out. And boy does he ever do that well with his unimpressive frame. There is muscle on him sure, but not enough to bulge a shirt for example, but that would be hard anyways, given he likes to wear almost baggy if short clothes. He has quite a few scars across all of his body neck-down, but doesn't have any tattoos. For no real reason other then he thought it looked good, he paints his Fingernails black and he would do so with his toes aswell, but there is a good reason he doesn't and that is because he doesn't wear shoes because he doesn't possess them, maybe when he gets enough money to care about shoes - he tends to only steal or work for money to get by the day. As for other clothes, well he wears t-shirts and shorts, simple colors, no design or logo on them. Yet there is one more thing he wears and that 'decoration' is a pair of handcuffs. He has them back from when he was captured and tortured, but kept them as a reminder, doesn't even have a key for them. Ofcourse the are broken in the middle of the chain to allow him to move, but the still hang around his wrists like one would wear a talisman or jewelery. Ovrall his look is more then suspicious and he raises eyesbrows where he goes, with some mistaking him for a run-away criminal without him doing anything for it.
