“We have to do something! Those legal guilds are getty real annoying and with the silence of our allies in the dark community, we’re sitting ducks!” A tall dark skinned man yelled slamming his hand on the table. “We can’t just sit around and wait for them to contact us again, it won’t be long until the Rune Knights track down our money to each of our banks and seize them.” There was a silence after that statement in the room as each of the men there remained quiet, but it was obvious they all agreed with his claims, judging just by their facial expressions. “And what do you suppose we do?” One man asked on the other side of the table. He wore an expensive looking suite that looked like it could’ve easily cost a couple thousand jewel. “We can’t just ‘move’ the money like you’re trying to imply! There are WIZARDS involved! Many of them are stronger than any we have in our employ, they’d catch onto us within an hour and intercept the trucks.” The room began to discuss the situation under hushed voices. This was a very important meeting between many of the crime families within the Neutral Grounds. Even though the neutral grounds were said to nullify magic, the wizards they were referring too lie in wait just outside the magic nullification zone, many of which hailing from official guilds scattered across Fiore under request to help limit the organized crime’s reach.
“Why don’t you employ your own wizard?” An unknown voice interrupted the group from the dark entry way of the room. Everyone almost immediately stopped talking, and turned straight towards the large double doors. Therein lied a silhouette of a shorter person who had opened one of the doors, a young girl to be exact. The room fell deathly quiet, the only sound was the faint rain hitting the window frames, and the occasional thunder. The room was situated on the top floor of a rather tall skyscraper after all. “Who in fuck’s name are you?” One of the men finally blurted out, a slight accent to his voice. “No, wait, I don’t care. How the fuck did you get all the way up ere?!” He said again, agitated and standing up. The girl said nothing, but slowly walked closer revealing herself in the faint light hanging above the table. She wore a black and white frilled dress, and had long black hair threaded with rose petals. But the aspect that stood out the most about this girl was the large white eyepatch that hug around her left eye. “I heard there was a little ‘get together’ happening involving the neutral ground’s most feared and ruthless underworld leaders… Only that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.” The girl said with an obviously fake depressed tone. The men inside the room began to turn their heads towards each other, a few of them laughing slightly. “Get this nobody out of here.” One of them said, who had been sitting at the end of the large table. “You all don’t need to kid yourself… I know why that is.” Just as she finished speaking a rather large man who acted as a bodyguard for one of the crime lords came up and grabbed her wrist. She would react quickly, twisting her arm out of his and then grabbing it, swinging his own wrist behind his back and keeping him in a dangerous position. And with that, a loud bang sounded in the room and many of them let out surprised yelps. The man who had grabbed her yelled out in pain and fell to one knee, she still keeping his arm gripped tightly behind his back. “Name’s Mythica, and I’m a wizard!” She said with an unusually childish tone, smiling cheerfully as she held up her pistol, the weapon still smoking from a previous shot. Everyone stared at her with a mix of awe and fear, realizing this little girl had completely overpowered one of their bodyguards in less than a few seconds, and that she was apparently a wizard! How could any wizards use their magic within the neutral grounds? The man’s leg was bleeding all over the floor as Mythica stared at all of them, and then put the gun to his head. He was sweating with fear as he breathed heavily, completely at her mercy with his wounded leg and arm being held hostage only one bend away from snapping. She’d stroke his baldness for a moment before speaking. “Now I asked you all a question. Why don’t you hire your OWN wizard to deal with this pesky little problem of yours? After all, it’s only natural that someone with the abilities to use magic can safely dismantle the wizards watching the borders of the neutral zone, is it not?” The group of men stared her down in silence for another moment, before finally the man at the end of the table who seemed to be the big boss around here waved his hand. “Alright, might as well hear you out.” He said. With that, Mythica let go of the man’s arm and kicked him forward, letting him moan quietly in the corner as he nursed his leg wound. She then gave an overdramatic bow. “Like I said, I’m a wizard… And I know exactly how to help you guys out.” She said with an insane grin as her body straightened again. “And how would you go about that?”
“Simple, we lay a trap for those wizards…” The group chuckled again. “You don’t think we haven’t already thought of that? How naive do you take us for? No trap we have set has outsmarted the guild wizards. What trap could we possibly set to beat them this time.?” Mythica smiled and let out a sinister laugh.
“Me..”
The group fell silent once again, each of them mulling the woman over, thinking up their own opinions on the matter. This went on for almost a minute before finally someone broke the silence. “How do we know we can trust you?”
“Don’t. Let the results speak for themselves. I’ll get rid of the wizards, and that’s when you send the money through. I’d start loading soon, however. It won’t take long now for the cops to find some incriminating evidence that will land all of you in prison.” The boss then leaned up in his chair. “And if by some miracle you’re able to successfully incapacitate every single wizard hired to keep us trapped, what do you want out of it?” Mythica looked up for a moment and put a finger to her chin. “Hmmm.” The rest of them turned to each other. “Is this chick serious? She really didn’t think of a reward before the proposal.” A few inquired. Finally she snapped her fingers! “HEhee! That’s it! I want full access to Mr. Kaiba's records on all is business deals within the last year… There is something of great value to me hidden somewhere in those records that I’ve been meaning to track down…” She grinned. The man who had been recently named looked surprised and turned to Mythica and the Boss multiple times “F- Full access? S- Sir we don’t know if we can trust this woman! S- She could be a spy for our rivals! Would it not be simpler just to ask me the specific deal you’re looking for? Surl-”
“The deal I’m looking for you would not remember, Mr. Kaiaba. It was conducted 12 years ago..” Mythica said with a glare as she turned to him. Something about her eyes made him choke on his own words… And he did not speak. The boss nodded. “Done. We expect amazing results, Mythica…”

There she sat, atop her perch awaiting the arrival of the mysterious wizards she had openly challenged. Mythica was sitting on a cliff edge overlooking one of the main roads leading in and out of the Neutral Grounds. It was night, but dark clouds filled the sky. The rain poured lightly as the lightning danced between the clouds followed by distant rolls of thunder. All she needed to do was wait. The time wizard had openly projected her aura out, and any wizard in the area would easily be able to sense her magic power, and feel that her intentions were hostile indeed. And it didn’t take long. Her solitude was shortened. Mythica’s eyes opened slowly as a smirk formed across her lip. Her prey had finally arrived. Behind her, about 10 feet stood 4 silent wizards. 2 male, 2 female. One man went by Reaper. He wore a dark hood, and sported a scythe for a weapon. The other man was known as Deadeye. He had silver spiky hair and brooding blue eyes. He held a bow and a quiver full of magical arrows. The first female was called Serenade. Her only apparent weapon was her voice. And last, but not least, there was Seraph. Long blonde hair with angelic wings on her back. These 4 made up what was known as the “Order Legion” A team hailing from a well known wizarding guild, Mythic Dawn.
“Only 4?” Mythica asked, not turning her head. “More than you can handle, dark member.” Seraph spoke in a calming tone. At this Mythica would begin to chuckle as she got to her feet. But it soon turned into a maniacal laugh. “That’s where you’re wrong you see! I’m not part of any dark guild!” Her body began to glow and instantly, Mythica had requiped into her battle gear. A long orange and black frilled dress with large, laced black boots and two uneven twin tails. She spun around to confront them, letting her clock eye spin rapidly with a look of insanity on her expression. “Seems the ‘Big Boss’ finally hired someone worthy to challenge us. Not that it matters.” Reaper said in a dark tone. “Your sin will be punished, prepare yourself! Order Legion! ENGAGE!” Instantly all 4 of the member jumped up in the air in 4 different directions! Seraph unleashed a furious white beam of power from her hands, while Serenade let out a magical ground shredding tone from her mouth, Reaper sending a projectile from his scythe and Deadeye unleashing four arrows lined with explosive magic! All converging on Mythica’s spot who had yet to move. Then! When all 4 attacks were inches from her body Mythica looked up, her yellow eye shining brightly just before the attacks converged! A massive cloud of dust exploded from the cliff edge, just as the 4 landed, but it wasn’t over. They looked up in surprise to see Mythica high up in the air, gracefully avoiding their attack, not a scratch on her! Only a trail of dust from her body from the large explosion! Mid air magical weapons manifested themselves in Mythica’s hands and she let out a cackle as her body spun and she fired several bullets! All 4 quickly rolled behind cover behind a rock face or tree as Mythica’s bullets tore through the stone sending plumes of dust in the air! As soon as she landed, the girl darted forward with extreme speed! She leaped upwards in the air, flipping to let herself fly over the Order Legion’s backside as she let out another flurry of fire mid air, This time however, they retaliated! Reaper rushed to meet her mid air, but Mythica seemed to predict this! She held up her rifle just in time to block a devastating scythe blow! The two seemed suspended in the air for a shear moment as Mythica was still upside down from her flip. Smiling she landed with a skid as did Reaper deflected by her block. “No secret why only 4 of you were here. I can see why the thugs were so afraid!” She laughed. “Are you mocking us?!” Deadeye yelled angrily quickly pulling three arrows into his bow string and releasing them instantly! Mythica turned to him and skillfully sidestepped the first two before raising her arm just in time to shoot the last one right out of the air! He was phased for a moment with wide eyes and a wide mouth. “How did she avoid all three of my arrows? I’ve never missed like that before!” He thought to himself, but now it was already too late! Mythica flashed towards him with lightning speed once again and caught him completely off guard! Within an instant Mythica was sliding on the ground in front of him, and delivering a fierce rib kick! His eyes widened with pain as he was flung back many yards, tumbling straight into an open rock face! The time mage was preparing to finish him off as she let out a charged shot straight towards him just as he was collecting himself! At the last second however, Seraph landed in front of her comrade and blocked the blow with a magical shield that seemed to have appeared from her arm. How annoying. Mythica grimaced before charging her directly. Seraph seemed prepared for this, and right away a magical white sword formed in her other palm and she brought it down just as Mythica blocked it with her rifle. The two locked weapons for a moment, Mythica smiling sinisterly while Seraph glared intensely, both staring into each other's gaze. The glow of Mythica’s clock eye made her feel uneasy. “NOW REAPER! SERENADE!” She yelled. Suddenly a force could be felt behind Mythica! Her eyes were taken off of Seraph for a moment to see both wizards charging her from her left and right sides! Not good! Mythica’s expression turned to a sudden worry as both of them charged her blind spots and she was forced to let go! Mythica took a step back from Seraph just as Reaper came in crashing, hitting her musket down quickly, allowing Serenade to release a powerful soundwave attack! Caught off guard, it hit her directly and Mythica was hit square in the chest! The wizard flew through the air, until her back hit the strong trunk of a tree! The three smirked as they finally landed a direct hit on the time mage. Mythica breathed heavily for a moment before shaking her head and looking up towards the team. No more cheerfulness was on her expression now. It was rage. “So you all like to play?! LET ME SHOW YOU HOW THE GAME WORKS!” She yelled angrily, holding up her musket to the sky and releasing an oddly coloured yellow bolt of magical energy! “TIME FLOW: SHIFTING SEAL!” She yelled! The bullet exploded and suddenly a massive magic seal appeared on the ground below everyone! It depicted a yellow magic clock! It lit up and soon a yellowish field of magic energy appeared on its edges creating a massive dome! “What is this magic?!” Seraph yelled. Mythica simply smiled with an insane grin one would make after getting revenge. She then crossed her arms in front of her, holding out her rifle and pistol. The 4 wizards before her began to feel sluggish and weakened. “SEEKING BOLT!” The barrels of her weapons charged up and let out for massive bolts of magical energy, two for each gun! All of them could only stare at the new spell as the bullets traced through the air around each other before quickly splitting up and spreading out straight towards her targets! “Don’t let them touch you!” Serenade yelled but she was quickly cut off by a piercing scream! The bullet landed a direct hit! She had not been able to dodge it! “Sere- AHHH!” Deadeye yelled as he too was hit directly in the chest. Seraph and Reaper just managed to dodge their bullets, but before they could redirect their focus on Mythica, they circled around and hit them both square in the back! Seraph grunted in pain as she fell towards the ground and Reaper did the same! She struggled to lift her head off the ground. “Th- This field… It’s draining our magic energy… And slowing us d- down… B- But how…?” Mythica began to chuckle. “ONCE YOU LEARN TO CONTROL THE FLOW OF TIME MY FRIEND, YOUR ENEMIES BECOME A LOT SLOWER!” She laughed. “Time ma- magic…?” Deadeye grunted, staring up at Mythica. She simply smirked and the girl would instantly flash towards them again, this time they had nothing to stop her assault. Just as Seraph got to her feet, Mythica was upon her, knocking her shield away and firing several bolts into her stomach! She yelled and Mythica finished her with a quick kick to the waist, sending the warrior reeling backwards past her friends. Reaper somehow got the strength to attack, but like Mythica had predicted his move was far too slow to do any damage. She dodged it without much effort and held up her hand which was now free and grabbed the shaft of his scythe, stopping it mid air. “Wh- What?” And with that, he too was sent flying backwards after a powerful barrage of Mythica’s weapon fire! Deadeye and Serenade were no real threat by this point either. Deadeye was only now getting to his feet, while Serenade was too weak to even move a muscle. Mythica simply walked towards them carelessly, humming a tune before giving a good hard kick to Deadeye’s face as he was getting up, forcing him onto his back with a bloody nose. Mythica then put the heel of her boot on Serenade’s head smirking. The other three regained enough strength to lift their bruised bodies enough just to watch. Their eyes widened suddenly when they saw what was going on. “NIGHTY NIGHT!” Mythica yelled gleefully with her smile of insanity! Her boot began to glow with a yellow light and she pressed down on the girl’s weak skull.
Seraph screamed as Deadeye and Reaper could only watch with wide eyes of fear and sorrow. They never expected such a pain filled scream… And that the sound of breaking bone be so loud...
It was at that moment the seal began to wear off.. The field faded away as Mythica began walking towards Deadeye who only lied a few feet away from her. Her left boot dragging a faint trail of red with every print… An ominous yellow glow would shine behind each of the three remaining wizards, and before they knew it all three of them were now trapped. Large floating clocks had appeared in the air, the minute, second, and hour hands had extended and twisted to ensnare Mythica’s quarry. With their depleted magic energy and their state of shock taking over, this would be easy picking. “Y- YOU BASTARD! I’LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THIS! I SWEAR I’LL MAKE YOUR DEATH 100 TIMES MORE PAINF-AUGHH!” The hands tightened significantly around Deadeye. “Such a pretty girl.. Well, not anymore.” Mythica laughed. “Looks like my job here is done, though! So take care!” She said, walking past the three wizards held tightly in her clock’s grip. “I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN TO THE END’S OF THE EARTH! YOU HE-!” the hands tightened so much around all three that their bodies began to break… And when Mythica was satisfied with the result, she snapped her fingers. The clocks vanished from the air, leaving the wizards on the ground.. They would never get up again.

The group of men were all celebrating this victory in the penthouse when Mythica walked in. “Ahh there she is! The woman of the hour! Congratulations on your victory! That battle was splendid!” They’d all tip their hats to her as she strolled in with a smile on her face. “We will remember your service to for the years to come!”
“Oh, it was nothing!” Mythica would say in a modest tone, waving a hand dismissively. “The trucks will move out soon, and will meet no resistance thanks to you! They’ll be stashed safely away at Lavantir within the next few days.” The Boss said with a chuckle. That’s when the room grew suddenly quiet and everyone turned to him. “Lavantir?” One said. “But that’s where your personal vault is sir…” Mythica then sighed and quickly summoned her weapons. “Really wished you had waited a bit longer to say that.” She mumbled with an annoyed voice. Everyone’s eyes widened suddenly, but nobody had time to react before she held out the weapons and unleashed hell on the room! Yellow bolts of magic energy flew everywhere as the glass shattered and the glasses broke on the table! Men screamed for their lives as they were gunned down as they stood to run! It was no use, something was blocking the doors. Mythica couldn’t help but laugh as one by one the men fell the ground. A few were brave enough to reach for their hidden weapons, but never got the chance to fire before a stinging bolt of magical energy poured right through them. Within a few moments the room lied quiet. The faint smell of smoke filled it. The only two people alive were Mythica and the Boss. He let out a laugh and sat back in his chair. “Those fools really thought after their failures to keep my money safe, I’d let them keep any of it?! HAHAHA! Glad I met you when you were passing through, you’re a lifesaver!” He told Mythica as her guns vanished. “Mhm..” She said, looking down and nudging a dead body with her boot. “Now I can finally retire and live the rest of my life in stress free luxury. Don’t worry, our deal is still intact, though!” He said as Mythica walked over the corpses, looking for something specific. “So it would seem.” She said, crouching down and picking up a bloodied handbag around Kaiba’s waist. She opened it as the Boss continued to ramble on to see a massive file. Each page giving detailed reports of every major business deal within the last 20 years. She smirked just as there was a knock on the door. The boss quit talking immediately and looked at the door. “Who’s that?” He said in a concerned voice. Mythica stood up, carrying the file with her as she went over to the door. “Just someone I invited to help celebrate my victory.” She opened the door to be met with a tall man in a suit. The boss relaxed his muscles. “Oh, it’s only you Marek. The trucks make it out alright?” He asked. Marek walked in with a briefcase and cold, blank eyes. “I’m sorry sir.” he said in a deep, but saddened voice. “The trucks aren’t going anywhere…” The Boss looked confused. “What do you mean.. Not going anywhere?” His voice now sounded irritated. “Here are the rest of the files you requested Mythica…” He said, ignoring the boss and turned to the wizard, handing her the briefcase. “Explain yourself Marek! What do you me-” He was cut short by Mythica who turned on him. She put a foot up against his chair between his legs and leaned in. “Sorry, but my old buddy Marek here has other priorities!” His expression darkened. “Y- You mean you’re in cahoots with my top man! You meant to steal from me this entire time?! You won’t get away with this! My men will skin you alive!” Mythica chuckled and leaned in closer, her clock eye peering straight into his soul. “I’m not stealing your money silly! And Marek over here seems to think his daughter’s life is more important than your stupid money anyways.. I told him what would happen if he refused to go along with my little.. “Chaos scheme..” She said again chuckling. “Wh- What do you mea- MAREK! DO NOT LET HER DO THIS!” She rolled her eyes and quickly held a gun to his chin to shut him up. “I- If you’re not taking my money… What do you want with it…?!” He sputtered through clenched teeth. Mythica looked past him into the sky. “We’re giving it back to the people!” She said with glee. The Boss rolled his head backwards to witness was she was staring at. In the darkened skies above the Neutral Grounds, several large shapes formed in the clouds. Airships. “All of the jewels are ready to drop.” He said through the same cold voice. “Do it!” Marek nodded and pulled out a communications device and spoke into it. “Y- You’re insane! All of that money going to waste on those fools! Was this your plan all along?! Are you playing some hero of the common folk! HUH?!? IS THAT WHAT YOU BELIEVE YOU FREAK?!?” The airship’s bottom bays opened, and soon a shower of paper began to fall from the sky. It fell all over the town. Everywhere people in the streets stopped and looked up at the raining paper, floating silently to the ground. People stopped their work to look. Soon many began to smile and reach for the sky! Grabbing as much as they could. The boss could only stare in defeat, watching his whole life’s work fall the surface. But that’s when he noticed something odd. One bill of jewels floated nearby and he saw that it held a small, but bright magic seal on it. His eyes widened and he was about to say something before Mythica moved her weapon from his chin into his mouth.
“You fools. You think money makes you powerful.” She said. “But I know the true source of all power in this world…” She leaned in closer, so her eye began to make him sweat… “Fear.” She said quietly. And with that a large flash appeared within the city bright enough for them to see. Suddenly explosions ranged out everywhere! The streets were filled with pillars of fire as they exploded into balls of fiery death! The jewel bills began to spark, and explode everywhere! People screamed and ran for their lives, but hundreds had already been caught in the blast! Marek couldn’t help but widen his eyes and open his mouth slightly at the site. The screams of burning victims filled the air as sirens went out everywhere. The fire engulfed so much, he looked away. Mythica however jerked the Boss’s head forwards to watch the destruction.
“Beautiful…”
Mythica then pushed her foot forwards! The chair he was sitting on began to roll backwards and within a second it tripped on the edge of the shattered window. He screamed as he fell... Falling into the sea of fire… She stood there, watching it in all its glory. The heat of death warming her entire body…
This is what she was born to do...
