Meeting a new face

I smile as i admire my new armor and clothing as i look over the nice piece of clothes that are functioning as armor. The clothing basically being normal clothing that is a dark red in color that mixes some black in it, and on the back of the shirt having a hood that i can put up whenever i wish. The outfit designed to reduce the drag on my body when i move within combat, and to allow me to keep my range of flexibility. However, at the cost of better defensive protection that could've been offered in return for that increased range of movement. I look towards Verus with a smile on my face as i look at the little communication crystal thing still finding myself marveling at such a thing. As i can only wonder how people thought about this, and mastered to creating such things that seem very common place for the everyday person. This even though it was explained to me and i understand it feeling like this should be impossible. However, like i've been told anything is possible through the use of magic. I can only wonder how far that truly stretches out, and if i will find that answer out through my time traveling the world.

So verus where are we going now after getting the stuff we needed from those guys? I ask Verus curiously as i turn my head to look at the mask that blocks my view of the face. However, at this point i am rather use to the sight of such a thing even if i would prefer to one day to see he actual face of the person that is practically taking care of me, and making sure that i can live through understanding the world around me through his teachings.

Amora seemed to be enjoying her new armor, though it wasn't exactly armor, more accurately it was clothing that suited her better during combat. He felt she should be wearing the hood more often so that she would become more accustomed to it, however she would learn eventually. Oras preferred to keep his identity a secret for many reasons. One was to keep others from seeing his emotions, reactions, as well as his eyes which could never lie. Another was that on the off chance he became a fugitive for some reason, he could ditch his appearance and keep his face revealed. No one would recognize him at all and he could continue on with his life. It provided security, a shield of sorts, as well as an escape route. It was perfect in every scenario. Amora however didn't like the idea of a mask for some reason, and instead chose to be more open. They were very different in multiple ways if he was honest. They both wore the silver rings however which allowed them to communicate. And he was careful to make sure she didn't wear it on her ring finger or else it would send the wrong message. Soon she asked him where they were going to head now that they received their gear and information.

"Magnolia town. It's time you got to know this world's culture a little bit better. Magnolia isn't just the most peaceful town I know, it's. Well the most lax to put it bluntly. They've had many centuries of peace which in turn has created lax defenses and such. They don't worry much about anything. Instead they focus on their festivals and celebrations. You won't have much of a danger there. Regardless, I'll be near the town to keep an eye on you. I don't want anything happening, and anything can happen. Remember Amora: Nothing is stationary. Nothing is fact or secure. Everything changes, everything shifts. This is important to remember as you grow as a wizard in this world." This was one of his strongest beliefs. The philosophy that nothing was real. There was no 'truth' as facts are proven wrong all the time. The forces of nature can be bent and broken, as well as the laws of the universe. Magic is a basic example of this, though there can easily be others.

"Rabbit! Stop dilly dallying around already, damn it! We have work to do and you're busy parading off on an obsession over vegetables!" The sylph yelled angrily, wailing a closed fist on the top of the head in between the pair of bunny ears. A squeak left her mouth from the impact and dropped the bags, holding her head for a moment before she heard Silvia holding her own hand. "Ya know... I forget how thick headed you are... everywhere to be specific." The humanoid spirit eyed up the bunny girl, rubbing her knuckles and sighing. Why even this place? After having ventured into new lands and picking up the new structure of Lamia Scale, an old trip into Fiore caused her to find it much more difficult to pass up from time-to-time, as it was needed for a myriad of reasons.

Shaking off the hit, Gisen reached down and nabbed a carrot from the bag and took a bite from it, squealing happily and then bouncing up onto her feet. "I chold ju why we came here, Shilvia." She replied, swallowing the carrot and then sighing happily. "Oh my gosh, so sweet and yummy~ Aaanyway, like, the council needs their information... aaaaaand Oak town has THE BEST home grown carrots I've had! Like, they're so delicious!" The bunny finally held out a hand with a whole carrot, having it pushed away with little anger towards the rejection, which seemed to be a little more gentle and sighed. "Oh well... Besides, it's like, on the way to Era." She shrugged and picked up her bags finally, munching onto the carrot before she and the Sylph began to walk off.

While the two headed down, the Guild Master paused seeing a completely masked person walking near them. She stepped before them, with the companion of hers confused as to why. Instead of an intimidating bit, she leaned in at his face curiously. "Why are you all covered up, mummy man?" She asked, reaching up on her tip toes to see as if it would change anything. Not sure what else to do, she rudely reached over and placed a finger by the cloth over his mouth, ready to pull it away and see his face.

I see in the distance something that i would never be able to explain on my own if it was in the wild. A human being looking thing with bunny ears. My mind just stops as i try to comprehends this sight that i am seeing but having trouble processing. Human? prey? What is this thing before me! I look to Verus with a confused look on my face with some distress as my mind has a hard time understanding what to classify this thing before me. Never having run into such things in my time only just the normal animals of the forest. I then look back and noticing the human looking thing that is with the bunny that is trying to manage this rabbit to some degree it looks like.

I then see this girl walk up towards us and then talk to Verus as i pout a bit at being ignored but it does allow me to quickly glance over and inspect this girl that doesn't seem that keen on social idea of personal space which makes me curious if she was raised in the wild like myself. I grin a bit excitedly at the thought of someone sharing the same experience as me. I then look over and sees her about to remove your mask as i know i should stop her, but i don't just as curious what is under the wraps and the mask Verus wears.

Before Amora could say anything, he spotted something in the field of his vision that just came around the corner. It appeared that Amora saw it too, and she had quite the reaction from it if he was honest. He couldn't blame her as the humanoid had rabbit ears coming from it's head. She was munching on a carrot before fully devouring it and seemed to be talking to someone before she noticed them. Or rather, Oras. Her focus was on her and not Amora, and that was understandable due to the fact that he was quite literally cloaked and clothed head to toe, with a mask over his face. He could sense that her magic energy was stronger and more potent than his own, but if it came to a fight he was pretty sure he could hold his own against her... Enough to escape that is. He needed to get back to work on developing his magic above everything else. Even though Amora may try to avoid this, it was in fact the truth that he was sacrificing his own training in order to catch her up with him. She was so far behind as far as society was concerned, and in addition to this she hadn't met another human until she ran into Oras... That left so much work to be done. He had been training her in combat lately, but was moving into the stage where he'd let her wander the town in order to learn more about the culture of the world.

The woman with rabbit ears walked directly up to him. He would have shifted to a position where he was on his guard now, if he wasn't already on his guard. No matter where he was, no matter what he was doing or who was around him. He was always, always, on guard. She stood in front of him, forcing him to come to a complete stop. While he seemed calm, his body was waiting for anything to happen, ready to retaliate if necessary. He had several spells to protect him from an immediate attack, such as instant teleport and a counter attack, which would give him time to summon his illusions and such. The girl asked him why he was completely covered and even named him mummy man. "That's none of your concern now is it girl?" She raised herself on her tiptoes but that did nothing to change Oras' outward appearance or position. persuasion, intimidation, bribes. None of this ever worked on Oras. All of that was simply the actions of someone who was attempting to appear something they were not. She then reached for his mask and his eyes narrowed. His right hand shot up like lightning and grabbed her arm. Powerful or not, he had boundaries. "Hands to yourself," he said as he pushed her hand back to her, shifting only slightly to cover the upper half of his mask in darkness.

While it seemed as though Gisen had planned to random demask as a strange person in public without thinking twice about it in any way shape or form, not even to be stopped by her papa or the Sylph accompanying her, the strange man seemed to be very on guard about that kind of scenario, grabbing a hold of the bunny girls hand and holding what he had to think was a tight grip. Of course, she froze up from the feeling of being touched, but not enough to freak out at the moment. Instead, Gisen reached up with her other hand and bit off another chunk of carrot and began to chew on it while also calming her nerves. While she had her hand held, the male with the grip could easily feel that there was no obvious pulse in her arm. "Eeeehh.. what's up, doc?" She asked, looking down at his hand and then up to his masked form, not seeming to really take much of a care.

When he finally let her hand go, she moved it away as fast as possible and looked toward the silent girl hanging around with him. "Is this like, a usual thing for him? Or.. she?" She asked, looking right at the raven haired girl curiously since she had yet to pass by them, she could only assume they knew one another. "Ahem." The Sylph's voice carried over the shoulders of the guild master, looking over her shoulder and then back to the pair. "Hold on, Silvia. We have plenty of time..." She said, her eyes wandering between the pair. "So are you two like, together? Or brother and sister or something? Because you two look so affordable!" She squealed, giggling a little. A sigh of annoyance left the others mouth before she stepped forward, her leaf like tail swaying back behind her. "She meant adorable... God I don't know how on earth you can speak 4 syllable words and not mess many of them up, but basic 3 syllable ones you nearly ALWAYS mistake..." Silvia butted in with an aggravated tone. "Pardon her, she's a bit... different. I am Silvia, and this is Gisen. We come from Lamia Scale and I am sorry for invading your space. A childhood in the wilderness does wonders to a grown womans curiosity... " With a curtsy in the introduction of the names, Silvia stepped to the side of the darker skinned bunny and waited for their replies.

I chuckle at this girl's actions as i she seems to be a interesting character that means no harm right away from what i can see. When she asks me if this is usual i just nod my head. Yeah he is a bit protective of his identity. He also just finds that to be more comfortable, and the attitude is normal also. I say with a grin as i look at this girl with a grin. Upon hearing about asking our togetherness status my head tilts not understanding for a bit then blushing bright red figuring out what together meant after 3 minutes of thinking about it.

Upon hearing the sylvia speak i turn to this girl with the biggest grin as i run up to her with a smile. My name is tigress miss Gisen fellow child of the forest! I say obviously very excited to know their is someone else like me who lived out in the wild during the many winters of life.

While the girl had frozen up, stiffening her body momentarily upon his action, she seemed to recover quickly from it and return to an indifferent state yet again.  Instead she simply took a rather large bite out of her carrot and replied to him with a rather strange question that made no sense.  To Oras this girl was proving to be nothing but annoying so far.  A humanoid who was half rabbit, had no sense of privacy or personal space, and even more than that, she seemed to take no hint that what she had just done was actually considered wrong or impolite.  Either that or she didn't care.  While Oras himself wasn't polite, and in fact rude in the way he addressed things, by accident as he was normally blunt with things and didn't see the sense in sugar coating them.  When it came to other people's privacy, that was another matter.  If she had been successful in taking off his mask, he would have altered her vision so that she'd see something nightmareish, while at the same time making her regret doing so.  Luckily for her, she didn't.

She turned to Amora and asked if it was a normal thing for Oras to act this way.  Amora, who was seeming to enjoy this girl and her random nature, which if she hadn't just tried to tear away Oras' mask he may have taken some amusement in as well, told the half human that he was indeed protective of his own identity, that he was more comfortable with it, and that the attitude was normal as well.  Oras ignored all of this, and was preparing to ignore the girl, save for from the side to ensure she didn't try it again.  One of the girl's allies seemed to make an attempt to speak, but was interrupted by the girl again who asked them if they were together, and if they were that it was adorable, though she had butchered the word entirely.  Amora, not understanding vocabulary and how society works due to her childhood consisting of survival in the wilderness, eventually seemed to understand, turning bright red when she did.  While Oras was slightly embarrassed himself due to the fact that he couldn't see any individual wanting any sort of relationship with him at all, his mask hid his reaction and thus he simply looked at the girl.  "No, we do not have that form of relationship, nor are we related.  I am mentoring her," he said rather simply and bluntly.  He didn't know any of these people, and that was already more information than he should have given them.  This entire situation was uncomfortable for him.  Logically they should just move on past this random encounter, however the girl's allies made that pretty much impossible without looking like complete jerks.

She introduced them both, herself being Silvia, and the half human being Gisen.  She then stated that they were from Lumia Scale, which was a wizards guild.  Great, he kept running into these guys.  First Black Rose, though that was a necessity.  Then it was someone from a company (OOC- Black Sails though Oras doesn't know it) who had ended up causing him much grief.  At least this time he wasn't surrounded with people he didn't know.  Amora introduced herself as Tigress, which he was assuming she had chosen as an alias now, and added fellow child of the forest as a hint to her origins.  Oras would be doing no such thing himself.  He nodded to the two of them.  "You may call me Verus" he said to them.
