Well the village lived up to it's name of being peaceful, cause it was certainly so, especially in the dead of night where the only things that were awake was nocturnal animals and people. Who also appreciated the silence and decided to keep it that way. She was glad she was here, finally some tranquil peace and quiet where she could be alone with her thoughts. Though she could think just fine around others, she preferred being alone. It's just how it is being an asocial introvert, avoiding most social interaction and not really enjoying the interaction that she gets.
Though of course, she wasn't here for the peace and quiet, as much as that may seem. Delta has actually come to this little town to do some work. Requested by a William Dorvald, a chef, to go and steal his rival's famous fudge recipe that they kept locked up in a safe. It required breaking and entering, along with thievery, so he requested someone who lacks morals. Like the young scientist here. Of course she accepted the job, because she needs the money, and plus why not break into something that is probably so easy to break into to a genius like herself.
The streets were dimly lit by very sparsely amount of lighting, a few street lights were put every so often, but not enough to properly light up everything. So she was able to be in darkness majority of the time, so it wouldn't be easy to see her. Not that anybody else was out besides herself, and she didn't really look to suspicious. Just wearing her usual grey shorts, long sleeved white, green and orange shirt and lastly her orange and black boots. Well, and of course her round glasses. So really she just looked like some random teenager walking down the street. Which I guess is the truth, just not the full truth.
When the brunette arrived at the building, she went around the back, figuring it'd just be common sense to break in though there and not through the front door. Stopping at the door her brown eyes traced over to the door handle, of which underneath had a bunch of white rubber buttons. The Nov chuckled, adjusting her glasses "Well talk about a substandard security system. I don't even have to put any effort into breaking into this." the girl said smugly to herself, crouching down she popped it open and detached and reattached some wires before closing it. The security for the handle beeped, telling her that she successfully opened the door. "What did I just say?" she said with a grin as she stood up straight and walked into the building.
Delta easily did the same to the entire security system, so she was easily able to stole right through the building, giggling to herself. Kneeling down she picked the lock, to the owner's office, in a matter of seconds with just a couple of bobby pins she hid in her hair for situations like this. She gazed across the surrounds, a large oaken desk, with a chair made of the same wood covered some in black leather. Some miscellaneous stuff was spread across the desk, the girl pulled open some drawers to see if the safe was in there, but as expected it wasn't. "Oh wow, you're really going to hide it there? Don't you have any creativity?" she asked the owner of the shop, though not actually because he wasn't here. Walking out from behind the desk, she headed over to a picture that was on the wall opposite to that of the desk. The picture she could only assume was a self portrait of the chef that owned this shop. Well isn't that sort of narcissistic, staring at a picture of himself whenever he sat at his desk. Guess she should get this over with before he returns then.
She didn't feel like taking any more time on this, so closing her eyes, she gently pressed her hand to it, using her powers she hacked into it. A ton of glowing green lines spread out from where her hand was placed, then the safe beeped, saying it was successfully opened. Dropping her hand she let out a sigh and pulled open the black metal door, she grabbed a searched through some things, before finding what she needed. Stuffing it in her pocket the closed the safe, walking away as it made the noise that it locked. She fixed the security system before she left, thus leaving everything as it was originally found. Delta, then proceeded to head for Chef Dorvald's restaurant to deliver the recipe and get her payment.
