Delta sat in the low priced apartment room she rented out in the guildless mage haven of Talonia, legs bent and pressed up against chest, a nimble finger traced across the touchpad of her self-built laptop. She released a sigh from her lungs, she was bored, there wasn't really anything to do. Closing the laptop she stood up and stretched, staying in that position for too long made her back sore. Tired eyes scanned her surroundings, the room was a mess, but she ignored it. Stepping over random spare parts and the occasional clothing article to walk into the kitchen. Pulling open the fridge she cussed at the sight of barely any food, it was always when she was hungry that she didn't have any food.
Slamming the door closed she walked back to the living room/dining room/bedroom, might as well run some errands. Go find some food and cheap or free electronics to tinker with, maybe she could grab a book or two while she was at it. Though Delta figured she should probably get changed into something she hasn't been wearing for a week straight. After doing so, she headed out to run her errands.
Placing headphones over her ears to block out the sounds of everybody's everyday life, choosing some random music she illegally downloaded onto her iLac, she stuffed it into her pocket and left the building. The streets of Talonia were filthy, filled with shady figures and homeless people, but it had it's own certain charm to it. It was easy to steal here, not to strict on the rules, as long as you didn't get caught you could do basically anything. So for people like her, it's a nice place to live, but if she had a choice she wouldn't live here. But with how poor she was, and how inexperienced she was with being on earth again, she didn't have a choice.
When she could, she was planning on joining a guild, she isn't to fond of people but in that way she might have a different place to live that she didn't have to pay for. Plus work that she might enjoy, and maybe some time to herself were she could focus on her own tasks. Getting herself her own lab, and of course, conducting revenge upon anybody that has ever wronged her in the past. Which was rather hard to do considering she needed the time and money to find out where they were. But she hasn't really found a guild that she wanted to join yet, she preferred a dark guild, considering there was a lot more freedom to do things. No way she was ever going to join a legal guild, and independent guilds held a certain balance to them that she wasn't to fond of.
Back to the task at hand, shopping, not something she particularly liked, but something that had to be done. Grabbing a few food items, not really caring for what they were, she wasn't a picky eater. While minding her own business, checking out her items, she heard her particularly interesting conversation between some women. She walked outside with a bag held in her hand, he peered into the alleyway between the store she was in and the next building over. Three young woman were talking among themselves, plotting something against someone, but it didn't appear to be going anywhere. They didn't have a twisted enough mental state to do the things they wanted to do, Delta on the other hand. Well as long as there is something for her involved, she wouldn't mind doing a lot of things. Though she did have her limits, if it involved harming herself in someway, she most likely won't do it. It depends on the situation really.
So against her anti-social willpower, the scientist walked into the alleyway as she pulled her headphones down to rest on her neck, and then proceeded to speak out to them "You can hire me to do it for you" the teenager said simply, obviously not joking, despite how unbelievable it looked. A random sixteen year old, or twelve year old, or whatever age people thought she looked. Coming in randomly in the middle of your plotting, saying that they'd be willing to torture someone for you. The three women were confused to say the least, exchanging glances between themselves. "I don't have to, you can just continuing discussing your substandard plans here, never getting anywhere. Never getting your revenge." She said casually, she understood revenge, it's what she lived for. Well at least now, I guess it was something before, before she was captured, but what that was was long gone. But hopefully not for long, she hoped she could get those memories of hers back. I suppose only time would tell.
"Okay suit yourselves" she said, turning on her heels, the Nov started to walk away.
"Wait!" a smirk formed on her lips, she forced down a snicker from slipping out. She stopped in her tracks "We'll hire you" the same woman said, Delta dropped her smile and turned back towards them.
"So who am I dealing with?" the teenager asked. One of the young woman showed a picture and told the story, she just nodded and used some expressive words to show she was listening. "Grant Tuff huh?" she asked rhetorically "Stupid name" the girl muttered as she used the lady's phone the send the picture to herself, then she deleted the message so no one would know her number. "I'll text you tomorrow where to meet and when. You can see the results and pay me then" The scientist said simply, holding out the phone for the woman to grab before strolling away to finish up her errands, acting like nothing just happened. Acting like she didn't just get hired to torture and slander some dog's name.

After finishing up her errands she headed back to her run-down apartment, putting the food away in the fridge or cupboards. She placed the electronics down on the coffee table, and a handful of library books on the couch/bed. Delta grabbed a bunch of different things, planning something in her head, something for herself not for the job. For about an hour, using the scrap parts she found, she made herself a tablet and a device that looked like a medium sized metal box. She hooked it up to her newly made tablet with a cord and she placed all the books inside the container in closed it.
What this does you may ask? Well it scans the books, and downloads them onto her laptop, so she is basically illegally downloading physical books. Pretty handy is it not? While the machine did it's job she went to do her job, opening up her laptop as she sat on the couch. Delta didn't even have to be an expert hacker to get information on the guy, she simply just had to search up his name and voila, she got a lot of information. Granted she did do a little more digging to find his current address, but nothing to complicated. She sent the information to her iLac, she looked at it to watch it receive the message. Standing up she placed it back in her pocket.
The Nov grabbed mixed together a concoctions of liquids and such, she made her own little knock-out drug and placed it into a small bottle. This was going to be used for obvious reasons, she only needed one more thing before heading out. She grabbed a USB cable, a syringe, some rope and some gloves, she stuffed all of this in her bag before heading back out. By this time it was dark, perfect time to conduct her plan, she just hoped the man whore wasn't with another chick cause that would be gross, awkward, and inconvenient all at the same time. Delta would just have to deal with whatever when she got there, which wouldn't be too long, considering the man barely lived more then five miles away from her. And being more physically enhanced then humans and other creatures, she could get there pretty fast without being tired out.
Upon arrived at the house, she saw a light upstairs on, so he was home that was good. She pulled out the gloves from her bag and slipped them onto her hands, wearing these to prevent fingerprints from being placed anywhere. The Nov then proceeded to summon her weapon into her hand, as it materialized she aimed it upwards. Using it's grappling hook function to shoot upwards and grab onto a windowsill. Retracting it, she shot upwards, the arrow-shaped dagger remained stabbed into the wood. She held onto it with a tight grip, with her free hand she yanked open the window, good this Grant guy was an idiot that kept his window unlocked. The teenager climbed in and ducked at the edge of the bed, he wasn't in here, it sounded like he was showering. The girl stood and looked around, stopping at the sight of a laptop.
The technological genius walked over and silently slipped off her bag, she filled the syringe with the liquid that would send the man into unconsciousness. She placed it on the desk for easy grabbing as she opened up his laptop and went to work, she used the USB cable to plug her iLac into it. It didn't take much to hack into his computer, just some stupid common password idiots used. She started to type away different things, flipping through his different social media accounts, writing up different stories, and all the things you do when you're going to slander somebody's name.
Delta stopped typing when she heard the man finish showering, she grabbed the syringe and stood against the wall beside the door. As soon as the door opened she stabbed the syringe into his neck and squeezed it, the man stumbled forward a bit before falling onto his face. If nothing else was good about him, at least he had the decency to put on some pants before leaving the bathroom. Effortlessly she picked him up and set him on a chair, she used the rope she brought to tie him to said chair. While he was taking his nap, she went back to work, coming up with something believable but also horrible that nobody would want to be around him ever again.
It was probably around noon the next day when Grant finally woke up, he groaned as he lifted his head and looked around. He would see the girl sitting on top of his desk smirking at him, holding an iLac in her hand. "Took you long enough, the reaction to your actions is better then I could've imagined" the scientist said with a snicker.
"What are you talking about, who are you?!" the man said, shifting around in his seat, attempting to remove himself from his bindings with no success.
"You'll see, for now I have some stuff to take care of" she said sliding off the desk, her arrow blade materialized in her hand. A grin on her face "I'm here on behalf of the Unholy Alliance of Angry Ex-Girlfriends" she walked over to him and continued talking "and despite all the slander, I have to take some precautions, just in case you know?" the scientist said stomping her foot on the chair, more specifically in between his legs. The man yelped in pain "Let's get started shall we?" she asked rhetorically as she stepped down harder and pressed her blade into his thigh.

She'd texted the women to meet her at the Soul Bar, figured it was a casual enough place to talk, though she couldn't get any alcohol or anything, not that she wanted anyways. She ordered some food and a water, they arrived a while after she did. Delta slid some pictures of Grant Tuff, showing him stripped down to his undergarments, bloodied and bruised, laying on the ground unconscious "That good enough for you?" the teenager asked, taking a bite of her food. One of the woman almost vomited, one almost passed out then threw up, the other just gasped and covered their mouth.
She was the one to speak "He's still alive right? You did as told?" she asked, like she still cared for him somewhat, in someway, pathetic.
"Yes of course, I'm an anarchist, not a fucking animal" she said like it was obvious, she finished her drink of water. "Speaking of that, see the news? You're paying extra for slander right? Is that good enough?" the woman looked at their phones at the news articles for their town. The one woman actually vomited this time, the other actually passed out this time, and she just disgustedly set down the phone shaking her head. She looked at the sixteen year old like she was a monster, which was probably true.
"Take your money and go please." she said, shoving a bag full of money over to her. Delta quickly counted it and nodded.
"You're welcome to eat the rest of my food, if you still have an appetite" the girl said as she slid out from the booth, she shoved the bag of money into her back pocket before proceeding to walk out of the building, headed back home to her apartment to do whatever teenage scientists do in their free time.
