Dogs. What was so good about them anyway? Sure, it was hip and cool to be scared or hate on cats, but the moment you touch on dogs being not cute or super scary you were just labeled as some kind of horrible monster who beats up puppies.
Inari found dogs to be the most despicable kind of pet. They were mean and vicious, mindless beasts who did nothing but cause pain and heartache. And their dumb, blank, idiotic looks. Others found it adorable, she found it revolting. The zombie was convinced there truly was nothing between their eyes.
Was all of this a bit mean of her? Maybe. But it was Inari, she was always blunt about her feelings. But it's not like her hatred of dogs came out of nowhere. It was how Chimera died. Her beloved, messy kitten. It was a day back in her childhood when he managed to escape the house and wound up in the jaws of neighbor's newly acquired guard dog. Chimera had been one of the few things the woman cared about, or in fact to this day still cares about. He was able to bring out the emotions and feeling deep within her, something not a lot of things or people have the pleasure of accomplishing. And to have that one loved thing so easily and carelessly taken away from her... It was horrid.
It was on that day the girl decided, dogs could go rot in hell.
Currently, the dark haired girl sat comfortably upon the stone wall leading into their target's backyard, her legs dangling off the side while she held herself up. A little across the way, was the target himself. A big, muscular bulldog sleeping right smack in the middle of the grass. From what she could make out in the night air, he was chained to an iron pole right next to him. Given his massive size, the pole looked rather weak. It was bent, almost completely broken off. How the canine hadn't broken it off completely by now was a mystery to her. But Inari wasn't exactly looking at the details right now. Her emotionless gaze kept firm on the dog himself, a strange sort of fire held within those blue orbs of hers. She did not move, at least not yet. She would wait for Naomi, and see what she had to say as usual.
But one thing for was certain.
She wanted to be the one to kill the dog.

Naomi Enma ☾ Savage Skull ☾ D-Rank
Naomi was rather indifferent towards dogs, actually she was rather indifferent towards most animals, she could see how they're cute or fun to have around, she has quite a bit of her own back at home. Home not being on this dimension, but in a deeper more dangerous one, known to most as hell. But she doesn't have an intense love for any specific species, or on the other side of the spectrum an intense hate. It was similar to how she felt about humans, which to her at this point, being a goddess, just seemed to her has more intelligent animals. So she had no qualms about killing one dog. Unlike Inari, which the witch noticed to seem to absolutely despise this animal part of the canine family. She wasn't quite sure as to why the teenager hates dogs, probably something having to do with her past, or maybe the hatred stemmed from no place in particular. But with how intense it seemed the latter didn't appear to be true, despite the girl not really showing it in her expressionless facial features, the necromancer could practically feel how much she hated dogs.
Maybe others could also if anybody else were around, or maybe it's just because she rose her back from the dead so she has some sort of connection with her that allows her to tell more then one can from the outside. It was hard to really tell. The goddess sat along the length the the wall, one hand leaning on the wall along with the side of her hip and the leg attached to that side. Her other hand held a pipe, at the end smoke eased out of it towards the deep blueish black night sky, covered with tiny dots people knew as stars. She looked more as she was lounging at home instead of on the wall of some random person's backyard about ready to kill their dog. The young woman, as always, felt it better to make other people do stuff for her. But at least Inari didn't seem like she would have any issues in ridding earth of this almost rabid dog.
Taking in a deep breath from her pipe, she pulled it away from her lips which were painted a light blue to match her lace sheath dress of the same color that barely reached past the middle of her thigh. Across the top of her chest, collar bones, shoulders and shoulder blades was see through fabric, at the neck held it together with a choker like collar that was the same as the rest of the dress. The sleeves of the dress reached past the tall woman's elbows, on her feet were silver shoes that resembled ballerina shoes with the way the ribbons tied around her her ankle and then some, besides the fact it had a few inch heel at the end of it. Lastly her hair was held up in a low set ponytail with some lace fabric flowers similar to that of her dress. Her eyes, not crimson to day but a lighter shade of blue, as if it the color of her eyes were trying to go with her outfit, traced along the large backyard. Scanning the surroundings, a bent metal pole just barely holding the chain that held the dog from going any farther then the length of the chain. It was no wonder the dog kept getting out, if this was the sub standard way the owners were keeping their dog held in their yard.
"Well I guess we should get this over with" she said matter of factly. Letting her legs fall off the top of the wall to dangle over the side, she let herself slip off. Gracefully landing on her feet despite said task being quite difficult to accomplish in heels and a dress, but of course she did so with elegance, keeping up her regal composure. Without hesitance she walked up to the dog and stopped squatting down, immediately it awoke from it's slumber and tried to charge right at Naomi with immense amount of barking. But it turned out she stopped right out of it's reach, she turned over her pipe and tapped it, dropping the ashes atop the bulldog's thick head. It huffed in disgust, shaking it's big head. Her bored gaze turned along with her head to face Inari "Would you like to do the honors my dear?" she asked rather rhetorically, knowing she did. Without waiting for an answer the woman would stand back up and step aside "Be sure to get out of the way, this could get messy" she said to the readers, smilingly softly in a sinister way in your direction.

Inari watched as the goddess slipped off as gracefully as ever, and landed upon the ground daintily. The teen soon followed suit, though of course with less grace as Naomi. Once also now on her feet she kept a careful gaze on the dark haired woman as she approached the canine and squatted down. The dog slowly opened its eyes, now aware to both of the presences and waking from its slumber. He huffed and stood to its paws sleepily, before letting a growl bubble up deep within its throat. Almost like some kind of switch had turned on in its tiny brain it snapped, and began barking loudly. After letting out a single bark it started running at the goddess, digging its massive paws into the dirt to spring itself forward. Inari twitched and moved a step forward, ready to defend the goddess if the canine got a little too close. But just right before it seemed like it would leap out towards her the chain was at its limit, and stopped the giant dog just a few inches away from Naomi's face. Due to the momentum, the dogs almost seemed to be lifted into the air for a split second, but was quickly dropped onto its paws again. Even with the chain restraining it, the canine continued its barking, chomping its large, sharp teeth, trying to inch closer and closer to get a bite out of the woman. But Naomi did not seem to care, even as the pole began to shake loosely from the ground, seem as though it could break at any moment from the bulldog's force.
Now the zombie could see why the client wanted this thing silenced. This thing was a monster, just like the rest of its kind. All it wanted to do was destroy another life.
The purple haired girl's hand balled up into a fist. She did not enjoy the feeling of anger and rage looking into this thing's horrid eyes gave her. She was not one for showing her emotions, she never was. But something about this creature... It overflowed her with hatred. The tingles in her hands, the hard, suffocating feeling in her chest cavity. It was too much emotion for Inari to experience again, after so long of not feeling anything. It needed to end.
Naomi seemed to notice this, if not on her face than the feeling of intense emotion she was currently giving off. Her blue optics rose from the dog to the goddess, before looking back again.
She stared, giving a long, hard look at the beast. The longer she looked at it, continuing to bark and snap its drool-covered jaws, the more she could feel the hatred boiling up within her from all the past mistakes. The guard dog, her dick of an ex boyfriend, her strict teachers, her overbearing parents, the never ending school work, the amount of stress she was put through daily, the expectations she could never quite reach, the emotions she could not feel... The life she took away just because she wanted it to live...
Seeing as how Naomi backed away Inari was next to approach the dog. Slowly she did so, stopping right where the death god was standing mere seconds ago. She gazed down at the beast, watching its fruitless snapping. It tried so hard, and got nowhere. It was... Pitiful.
A dark cloud began to form above the two women, seeming to form out of nowhere since the night sky had been clear. It swirled and circled, a thunderous sound cracking as it turned and twisted. Once big enough, it sat there, another thunder booming from above.
Suddenly, due to the stress, the weakened pole snapped. With the amount of force the dog had put in it finally gave way, allowing him free reign. However, it would not be a long reign. Just before it could leap out to chomp down onto Inari's face a lightning bolt shot down from the sky and right onto the metal chain. The electricity crackled and traveled upwards towards its collar, where it was instantly shocked. It convulsed and thrived as it was sent to the ground, shaking while the small bolts of electricity ran up and through its body, turning it into nothing but a burnt crisp. A few seconds past before the electricity faded, and the wild animal fell over onto its side. It did not move, neither its chest or eyes. It was shocked to death.
Inari seemed to hold no emotion on her face once more, nor would her aura give off any sort of indication to how she felt. Instead, her dull expression looking down at the mutt said all it needed to.
Another crack of thunder rumbled through the sky. A few of the car alarms were currently going off due to the vibrations the strike had caused, as well as a few shouts of distress through the neighborhood and other dogs barking down the street.
After a few seconds of the noises, Inari finally spoke, just as deadpan as ever despite how dark the words truly were.
"If all dogs go to heaven, i do not wish to end up there."

Once the iron pole finally snapped, instead of being able to completely tear apart the zombie girl, which it appeared to be planning to do. A storm appeared from nowhere, considering the skies were completely clear and you could see the billions of stars. Most people would assume it was just a freak storm, which I guess, was technically true. But Naomi knew, and of course Inari knew, being the one that summoned it. The bulldog might've known if it wasn't in a fit of blind rage. The poor dog was too idiotic to realize it's fatal mistake, maybe it would've if it was a properly trained dog, maybe if it was like that two dark mages wouldn't have been sent to kill it. With a loud ear piercing strike, a flash of lightening hit the metal pole, which with incredible speed to be expected of electricity, it shot up the chains and into the dog. The witch, being one of the only witnesses to this event just continued to smile, completely unfazed by the turn of events. She was no stranger to the undead teenager's storm magic, despite the little time it has been since she was returned to the living.
"Now that was quite the shocking turn of events" the deity of death giggled at her own joke, the only ones to witness it being the readers due to the immense amount of sounds that currently inhabited the area. They stood not speaking for a few moments, or a few minutes, it felt rather timeless to the young woman. Holding her smoking pipe delicately in hand, she clapped by lightly tapping the tops of her fingers to the heel of the hand holding the pipe. "Nice show my dear" she said with a proud smirk. She stopped the polite clapping and dropped her hand down to grab her elbow, to make holding up her arm more comfortable. Naomi took in another breath from her pipe, and the blew it out in the teenager's direction. "Now let's head home, I'm ready for a nice meal after that, aren't you?" She asked rhetorically, she knew the girl was in fact not hungry, considering zombies didn't need food and drink and everything else like humans did. So it was really hard to tell if she was talking to her companion or the audience.
