Rank: Guild Scale
Player Requirements:

Job Requirements:

• 100 Posts
• 30,000 Total Words
Job Location: Uncharted Landmass (Unknown Lands)
Job Description:
A massive landmass was previously discovered by a researcher for the Magic Council who was trying to discover new effects from the local flora. Their discovery of the continent sized island had also been accompanied by the discovery of many, many, MANY monsters that the Magic Council couldn't be bothered to send their Rune Knights to clean them out. Luckily, there's a guild devoted to killing monsters that no one else has the gall to go after.
The mission will begin with one of the guild's aces briefing a small group of guild members on the mission with the assistance of one of the natives, during which time they find that there's 1 monster that's acting as a mental link between all the others and creating a type of 'hive mind' that makes killing the monsters nearly impossible. This monster is also able to control the others, and coordinate them to make them even more dangerous than before.
Part One of the mission will be to get a real-time map of the area going to help locate the main boss. Upon doing so, part-two will begin which involves killing two nearby bosses that would quickly come to aid their 'master' once engaged. Part Three of the mission will be killing the main boss, after which the guild will be permitted to setup a base on the massive island to aid in the destruction of the monsters.
Enemies:
Weak: Tribal Hunters
Highly skilled with bows and spears as well as daggers, they're not good with magic even if they have the ability to use it. Their best spell is creating a night light... However, they're trained from birth to hunt and kill and are good at staying hidden. They're not too keep on outsiders and will attack on sight. Not all of them are aggressive, but some of them haven't gotten the memo that LS is on their side.
Weak: Large Rodents
Think of a giant rat... now make it bigger. They can be rabbits, rats, kapibara, any rodent you can think of really. Most of them will try to avoid you if possible.
Weak: Large Insects
When the Sorcerer says large, he means dinner plates are smaller. They can range from harmless butterflies, to ticked off hornets.
Weak: Aggressive Birds
The birds of these lands don't often come in contact with outsiders, so once they spot you, you're perceived as a threat and are promptly attacked.
Normal: Herbavores
Mostly peaceful animals that will try to avoid you. Some, normally the larger ones, are territorial so keep your distance.
Normal: Simians
Small monkies that roam the trees. They'll try to steal from you sometimes, other times play with you, avoid you, or attempt to find bugs in your hair. Non-threatening physically though...
Normal: Tribal Scouts
Beings with tan skin, wearing animal skins and beads. They won't attack you since their task appears to be that of a knowledge gaining venture. They're excellent at stealth, and if found will remain at a distance. Interacting with them would reveal a massive language barrier.
Normal: Venomous Snakes
Over 90 different unconfirmed species of snakes are in this place, only 1 of them lacks venom glands. Some are agressive, but if you keep your distance you'll be fine.
Strong: Large Cats
These are normally predatory creatures and have no fear of humans.
Strong: Large Dogs
Wolves, coyotes, dingos, foxes, etc... Some are curious, some are aggressive, some will avoid you.
Strong: Bears
Nothing special to mention, they're big, strong, and unpredictable.
Strong: Giant Insects
Think back to the large insects, and now think of something large enough to eat several of those in one shot... These bugs are rarer around these parts, but all are as large as a human if not bigger.
Mini-Boss: Yps-ig Usb (Ip-sig Ooh-sib)
A 35 meter tall, 60 meter long armored panther. It's skin is made of stone and it can fire rocks from its body.
Mini-Boss: Ia-gent Agel (Ee-uh-gent Ah-gel)
An eagle that's 40 meters from beak to tail tip, and has a 90 meter wingspan. Its screech can be heard for miles, and it has no qualms with killing off humans in mass.
Final Boss: Pablo
The name and the creatures are on completely opposite ends of the "I just crapped myself" spectrum. Pablo is evidently a 20 foot tall monster that, while smaller than most the monsters on the continent, is more powerful. He has the ability to fire sonic waves from his mouth, water jets from his claws, and use telekinesis. He has a telepathic ability that lets him scream inside the minds of others, and will try to take control of 1 person.
Reward:
• EXP based on player rank: D - 50; C - 100; B - 500; A - 2,500; S - 12,500; SS - 37,500
• An entire continent-sized country for Lamia Scale (Expansion 6)
• Teleport Item: A customizeable accessory (watch, bracelet, earring, necklace, etc...) that can teleport members of Lamia Scale directly to the Guild Hall on the island (for convenience). This item is made available to everyone in the guild upon the first completion of this job.
