A lazy day in Magnolia (Lance, Harland, Riza, Ayeseru)

Lance woke up in his room in the guild like he usually does and yawned rubbing his eyes. He looked at the clock and sighed at how early it was, He could tell it was going to be one of those lazy days. He started to think of something to do when he thought of going to the local bar and just spend the day there.

He walked down the streets of Magnolia in his normal outfit, and black coat with his hood on with a black shirt and black jeans. He had his hands in his pockets and his head held in a way so that people could barley see his face.

He opened the door and walked in looking as mysterious as he did before. He sat down at the table and nodded to the bartender telling him to order his usual. After a while of waiting the drink came and Lance started to drink his day away.

The taste of a cold beer in a glass was like a relieve in Harland's mouth, specially after his regular visit to the Rune Knight department in Magnolia. Just a mere check up on their activities and patrols. And also to get the monthly report on the crime rate in this region. Not that it was much of a read anyway, the Fairy Tail mages made sure of that. They were not exactly hero's of the sorts at least not in Harlands eyes, but they did apprehend crime. However they always caused a lot of damage and destruction during their jobs. So the second report he always got here was a load of work.
So after his dreadful morning of sitting through a meeting with the local commander came to an end, he had strolled the city with his guards next to him. Till he had found a local tavern that didn't appear to have to may customers.
Just as Harland liked it, so he placed the guards outside the door while went inside to have a drink.

And so it was he was now sitting in the corner, watching the customers hanging at the bar or sitting down somewhere else.
'hmpf, maybe I am getting to old for this'

Clicking her tongue in annoyance, Riza stood a few blocks away from her intended relaxation spot. What the hell are those cronies doing here, she thought, her annoyance growing. Can I not have a peaceful day without conflict? She pursed her lips, wondering what to do next. The walk back to Arachne Orchid was too far to even consider, plus she had come all this way for a mini-vacation. Why she should let some magic council member potentially ruin her time in Magnolia was beyond her. Guess we'll have to see how much my presence irks him, assuming he'll recognize me.

Stepping into a darkened alleyway beside the bar, Riza slunk through the shadows, careful not to brush against anything disgusting, and managed to find a window to a back room of the bar. She listened for noise inside the bar and placed her palm against it, inevitably not caring too much if those inside heard. The guards out front were the nuisance, especially when she really wasn't in the mood to cause a scene. The woes of being me... She applied pressure to her fingertips and released a bit of wind magic, the following crack in the glass not making too much noise. Pulling out her hand fan from her leather boot, she used the butt of it to break the window open just enough to fit her hand through. With a click, she opened the lock and pushed the window open, hopping in more gracefully than she thought possible.

The room she entered was dark, save the light from the window. The small amount of glass under her feet crunched as she landed, and her heels clicked as she took a few steps forward. It's times like these I wish I were a fire mage, she thought with a sigh. Eventually her fingertips brushed against a door, and she swung it open easily enough. Inside the next room was a rather stout man and three women, all wearing aprons.

"Where did you come from?" the man asked, his face the perfect picture of bewilderment. "Must be the new girl," one of the women replied, reaching over and grabbing a wad of white cloth. "Put this on and go see what you can do for the gentlemen out there." Tossing Riza the apron, she turned away from her and began a muted conversation with the other three.

Scowling at the object in her hands, Riza almost threw it back at the woman with extra force than necessary, but she thought better of it. This could be interesting, she thought, unraveling the bundle and putting it on. She smoothed out a few wrinkles the best she could before grabbing a tray and a couple of drinks. The four others in the room didn't pay her any mind, so she strode out into the main seating area without hassle.

The room was decently busy. Other females in aprons catered to various guests, but Riza couldn't fathom why anyone would want that sort of job. The looks the men gave them made Riza's body tense. Do they not see the glimmer in the men's eyes? Shivering involuntarily, she picked an empty table towards the back and placed her tray down, sliding into a seat and propping her feet up on the chair opposite her. "What a lovely idea this was, Riza," she said to herself, popping open one of the many drinks she had taken from the back. After a moment of thought, she pulled the apron over her head and plopped it on the table next to her drinks. Wouldn't want anyone calling me over. I might forget to play nice.[/color]

Lance had fallen asleep after a few hours of drinking and looked around. His eyes fixed on 3 people that were in the bar he just had to figure out which one to go to. He could go to a red haired girl who just had an apron on or he could go to a black haired person then the last person he could go to was an old dude. He shrugged, knowing Lance he would probably choose the girl, in which he did.

He walked over to the table the girl was at obviously still drunk "He.....Hey mind if I s...sit here for .....a while?" Lance didn't here an answer so he just sat down across from the girl and as he sat down his sleeve roled up showing the Fairy Tail tattoo. Lance had no care what she was doing here and what guild she was in but he wanted to talk to someone who looked close to his age. "So... How ar..are you doin today...?" Lance slurred on a lot of words as he talked to her. "Anyway... you wanna hear a story?"

Until the fight had started Harland hadn't even taken the slightest notice on the other patrons at the bar. He was as usual deep inside his own thoughts, thinking about his position and on what he would do next. After all he was in charge of the safety to this entire state. And every decision he made need to be thought through, because it always had some sort of impact on the citizens of the magical world.

But when the first punch was being dealt to one of the other patrons, the councilmen finally took notice on the other patrons. Especially those who hold more power. One of them was engaged into a fight with some others, and when the fight was finished Harland looked straight towards this young mage. As if he was inquiring him from a distance.
The other two mages that Harland had taken notice on had engaged in a conversation with each other, which could be bad for the young boy, whom still seemed oblivious to the power that was contained in the red haired beauty.

Harland took a look again at the dark haired mage, peering with his eyes in his back. Quite a skilled young man, it made Harland a bit curious from which guild he was.
'Say lad, you showed some skill back there. Come over here so that we can share a drink'
The voice that came off the old councilor was strong and strict, that somehow didn't fit his age. And there was no room for discussion in that voice.

Riza could feel someone approaching, and obviously her do not approach aura didn't penetrate his thick skull. Great, she mentally groaned, removing her feet from the chair opposite her. Before long the approaching child sat down and proceeded to ask if Riza wanted to hear a story. "A story? From you?" She was leaning on her elbows, her hands clasped beneath her chin. Leaning closer to the mage, she gave him a cold stare. "Watch your words or they may be the last you'll ever say."

Her focus was interrupted momentarily by some brawl in another area of the room, but it didn't spark Riza's interest too much. Neither did the boy in front of her, to be honest, but he was the annoying bug flying too close for comfort. I don't want that pesky council member approaching me... She was relieved to see the old mage find companionship in the brawling mage, and Riza turned her attention (mostly) back to the Fairy Tail mage. Wait, he's Fairy Tail? This piqued a bit of Riza's interest, and she leaned back in her chair. "What is this about a story?" I wonder where that other mage is from.. I wouldn't be surprised if it were Fairy Tail. I hear they're complete brutes socially. Of course, this one fits the bill as well...

Lance smirked at the girl still drunk. "Great lets begin... One day there was a little kid that dreamed of being the greatest wizard ever." He formed a shadow ball in his hand making it look like a little kid. He looked up at the girl and continued placing the Shadow figure on the table "One day this kid got stolen from his mom and dad and brother by his uncle and was forced to learn Dark arts." he formed another figure but this time it was abusing the kid "One day this kid had enough and ran away from home. Lance made the kid run across the table and dismissing the abusive shadow.

"One day the kid found out his brother was dead and decided to live on his brothers legacy so he joined a guild. The guild welcomed him with open arms." Lance made more shadows but this time it was people giving him hugs and hand shakes with laughs and smiles. Lance looked up and smirked before finishing with a wave of his hand and the lights turned off inside the bar. Lance shot dark balls flying above them. He unsheathed his claws and jumped up launching off the table turning the lights back on and slashing at the balls making them burst into a beautiful glitter of purple and black showering over the two wizards.

Lance landed on the table and dismissed his claws "That boy....." Lance looked down at Riza with a smirk "Was me... My name is Lance Knighthunter and I use a magic called Shadow keeper magic, nice to meet ya."

Ayeseru was called shortly after the rumble he had participated in was over.  Only a sip in, and the council member had called him over.  Ayeseru then had an anime face of panic as a "GAAAAH" was noised in the background.  Oh god...  He definitely saw the rumble I just caused...  Oh lord...  What is he going to do..?  Should I run away..?  GAAAAH!  WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?!  Those thoughts rand wild through Ayeseru's pounding head.  Then again...  Something positive may have come out of it as well.  Maybe the council member thought good of his actions!

All of the sudden, Ayeseru's face immediately lit up.  Am I going to get a prize?!  Ohh...  Maybe he'll recommend me to become a wizard saint!  ...No.  I'm too weak for that.  But still!  Something?!  Ayeseru took the coolest front he could manage, and walked towards the council member who was waiting for him.  He would lay his beer down and look at the council member with overly serious eyes, mostly to gain style points from him.  "What is it you desire, good sir?" he asked in a rather toneless matter.

OOC : Sorry it was so short, but, I didn't have inspiration, but didn't want you guys to stop because of me.

'Nothing much boy, just seeing you fight like that and help that young girl reminds me of my golden days. Besides seeing someone except the Rune Knight who knows how to handle that pesky situation you were in earlier made me curious from which guild you were.'
Harland kept looking at the young mage with the serious and stern look on still his face, trying to figure out which guild he was from. By seeing on how he handled the situation he without breaking the entire tavern excluded the option that he was from Fairy Tail. A guild which he wasn't that fond off. So he probably was from other well known guild.

In the mean time on waiting for the young mage his answer, Harland couldn't help to take a short glance from the corners of his eyes. Towards the other two mages in the tavern, the young boy who was in over his head and talking to a powerful young miss. Who was an oddity in this bar filled with it's patrons. Harland focused his attention on the lad who was sitting in front of him.
