The Seed Of Truth (Private, Job)

Unknown happily skipped along, oblivious to all else. Today, the boy was doing his first official wizard's Job, and though it was simple, he was more than happy to do it. He was to plant some seeds for a farmer, which was simple enough, so he took the job. Anything that he didn't need to hurt anybody else was fine. Plus, the farmer was willing to pay him, so he was happy about that too, he loved money! It was so shiny, it fascinated him. But that wasn't the point. Unknown was supposed to be here to help. A man was waiting for him, and as the boy walked up, the man looked him up and down. "Are you the lad who accepted the Job? I hope you're stronger than you look, this isn't an easy job."

Unknown nodded, his small wings flapping as he did. The farmer's eyes widened, but he didn't say Anything, pointing at the field. "You got till the end of the day. Get it done or you don't get paid." Unknown nodded again, skipping off to the field, where he was supposed to plant the seeds. The farmer shook his head, wondering what he had gotten himself into.

It was hard work planting, Unknown soon discovered. With his small fragile body, it made work rather difficult. But he had determination and positivity on his side, and slowly made a fair bit of progress. He had started to develop a rhythm of sorts, which made it a bit easier on him, though the work itself was still far from easy. First, he would break up the earth into clumps to make the planting easier. Once he had finished a row, he would chop the earth into smaller clumps and then drop seeds into ever hole he made. He would cover each seed after that, before watering the whole row of seeds. It wasn't the most perfect or easiest method, but it was the one he was using, and it was working decently enough the way it was.

He had yet to take a single break, and he was sweating into his thick vest and white shirt at this point. He hadn't known it would be such sweaty work planting these seeds... but there was no time to complain, he needed to work! He was about halfway done, and it was already well past noon. Dimly, he wondered if he would make it on time, before shaking his head and reassuring himself he would.
