Special Characteristics: Adolonius does not have much of note about himself, save for a black leather choker, while simple in design, closer inspection of the bobble reveals wear and tear from being constantly worn and never taken off.

Personality:
For all intents and purposes, Adolonius is a rather easy going guy. He has kind-hearted and always looks for the best in people. He helps folks in need whenever he can, hoping that he can bring a more peaceful nature to those he interacts with. He likes animals and will feed stray cats, just to ensure they have eaten a decent meal. Adolonius is always willing to share knowledge he has with others to teach those that are willing to turn him an ear. However, during these sessions Adolonius' explanations can tend to wander off on tangents as he tries to go into perfect detail about every little thing. This often drives most people to boredom or a want to change the subject. In his guild, or around people he is comfortable with, Adolonius is willing to be a tad more assertive than when he is not around them, and more willing to take criticism. Adolonius has a great trust of people, even when he shouldn't. He tries to ensure he can be trustful person, as such he will not tell a lie, even a small one. Instead he keeps his comments true, sometimes coming across as blunt and harsh, though he means no harm by it. Other than that, in day to day activities, Adolonius personally strives to make sure he is a courteous, trustworthy, helpful, loyal, friendly, kind, obedient, and clean. Adolonius strives to be a gentleman wherever and whenever he can. However he avoids and turns an excessively cold shoulder to any fire mages not willing to give them the time of day.

In a fight, which Adolonius seeks to avoid, Adolonius uses his knowledge thirsty brain to think rather quickly on his feet. He attempts to bring fights to a halt swiftly, so that injuries and casualties are at a minimum. Adolonius adapts to the environment he is in during battles, finding a way to use everything to an advantage. He limits his magical use, for he does not wish to rely on it's power alone. There has been, and surely will be times though that he fights another mage. He does not limit his magic as much in these fights, however he uses it in ways to prevent lasting harm to others. His personality would prevent him from ever being able to kill another intentionally. If Adolonius is fighting in a group, he would take orders rather well. He would still use his unorthodox thinking, and if he sees a course of action he deems better, he will try to relay this thought to the leader, to prevent butting heads. He will follow through with whatever the leader decides, though will be a little hurt if the leader does not acknowledge or even try his ideas. If he is leading a group, Adolonius becomes very tactical. He would make sure to know fully everyone's strengths and weaknesses and use them advantageously. He comes across as strict as a leader, but that is only because he wants everyone to come out of the ordeal okay, and feels that strictness will help keep people safe over being reckless. His plans become less unorthodox when he is a leader, and much more practical. In a fight, if he ever has to fight with or against a fire mage, Adolonius will break down. Dropping to his knees in a shaky panic, he will put his hands on the side of his head and sit there rocking, becoming rather useless. He does not try to flee, for his pride stops him from backing down. He will not listen to any logic until a certain time has passed without him seeing flames and the mage responsible for them. (This time would be 2 posts in threads without there being any source of flames) He even does this if a building is burning, and if he so happens to be inside said building with flames all around, he runs out of the building with all haste and then proceeds to get sick.        

Likes:

• Adolonius loves his sister. This love is strong and drives him to just about everything. His sister was everything to him. Even though she has come to an untimely death, his beautiful love of his sister holds firm in his constitution to this day. As his parents died when he was 8, his sister, whom was only a mere 18 months older took a motherly role on and cared for her younger brother.
  
• Adolonius loves to dance, and is rather quite good at it. He can dance almost any dance, from break-dancing to the waltz. His love of dance stems from the love of his sister. It was a passion they both shared and he carries it on to keep her memory strong.
  
• Animals is another thing that Adolonius likes. While he likes all animals he does prefer one animal over the others, the cat. He sees cats as carefree and full of wanderlust. They freely go wherever they please and do whatever they wish. They are great companions and act as a representation of a life Adolonius wishes for, one of freedom to do as he wishes and see more of this vast land.
  
• Books contain knowledge and wisdom from past generations and far off places. Some books contain histories of magic and the old lost ways to use it, while other books take you into far off lands that most only can picture because they read about it. This vast library of knowledge sitting between the pages bound betwixt sturdy leather is what Adolonius craves. He seeks to learn more anyway that he can. History, magic, politics; Adolonius loves learning about it all. Books are the most efficient way to do this, thus his fondness of books.
  

Dislikes:

• Adolonius dislikes the sun. He knows it serves its purpose and does so quite well. However, he finds its light to be too bright and the heat it gives off just a bit too much.
  
• Adolonius is peeved when he does not know the answer to something. He has had his nose in books in most of his free time and considers himself to be quite knowledgeable in the things he has read. There is plenty he doesn't know however. When asked a question and he doesn't know the answer to it prods at him, toying with him, making him want to know the answer. He dislikes it greatly when he feels this way and does not normally feel better until he learns that which he didnt know.
  
• Adolonius dislikes unneeded violence. He knows that there are many ways to solve a problem, and would rather resort to other measures instead of violence. He does understand that this isn't always viable, but it does not make him like it. Times he has brought harm to others, Adolonius is brought down by the thought of others brought to harm by him. To feel better he often will be overly helpful and kind to just about everyone until he forgets about the harm he has brought.
  

Motivations:

• The biggest motivation for Adolonius is for his sister, wherever her soul may be can look at him and be proud. He strives to do the best he can to make her proud. He cared greatly for her and wants to keep his promise to her.
  
• A sense of duty motivates Adolonius to pursue his lust for knowledge. The duty is to his guild, Lamia scale, which he chose to join for the huge amount of knowledge found within Zuo's Grand Library. He is motivated by this duty to help expand this hoard of knowledge and leave his own mark somehow.
  
• His wish to see the world motivates Adolonius to get strong enough to be able to fulfill that wish. He knows that the world is vast and stocked full of danger, and history shows only the strong survive.  
  

Fears:

• Adolonius fears fire. He has grown used to the flame of a candle burning, so long as he was not the one that lit it. However all other sources of flame, an open flame grill, a campfire, even fire from mages, bring him down to a state of inaction. This deep fear stems from the fact that his beloved sister died in a fire trying to get him to safety, and his parents also died in an arson attack while him and his sister were at the park playing.
  
• Adolonius believes in the balance of forces, light and dark equality. It is from this belief that his next fear comes. He fears that every time something good happens in his life that something bad must happen to balance out. Superstitious some say, and to that Adolonius just thinks back to the two bad things that have happened after really good things so far in his life. The deaths of both his parents and his sister. He waits fearful of the next thing that will go bad in his life.
  
• The last thing that Adolonius fears baffles most even himself. While he has no problem walking from place to place, he fears transportation. Trains, magic vehicles, bikes, boats, and even horses all bring Adolonius to a state of baby regression. He curls up in the fetal position and just hums loudly trying to not think about what he actually is doing. This is why on most travels he goes on he just chooses to walk. This is a fear he is trying to overcome, to help him achieve one day his goal of seeing the world, for it would truly be faster to see the world with transportation other than walking.
  

General Appearance


Height: 180cm
Weight: 66.6 kg
Hair: Adolonius has white hair. His hair grows thick and stacks upon itself rather than growing long. He parts his bangs in the front above each eye. The hair mostly hides his ears and the back of his neck, but it does not get any lower than that. He lacks any facial hair.
Eyes: Adolonius' eyes are lime green.
Skin Tone: Adolonius is light and fair skinned.
Appearance:
Adolonius is a lean build. He doesn't have much muscle, as he dislikes physical labor. His fair skin burns easily in the sun and never tans, so to prevent sunburn he dons clothing that covers as much as possible. His normal everyday attire is as follows; brown leather boots that are comfortable to wear all day and in almost any activity, black socks, khaki slacks going all the way down to his ankles, black leather belt with a bronze ornate buckle with his guild's symbol engraved into it, a burgundy short sleeve turtleneck, a dark forest green hooded trench coat, and the black leather choker which was a memento from his deceased sister.
