Description:
Elemental Runes is a type of magic that involves two things: First, a vast knowledge of ancient runes and runery, their meaning as well as the ability to manipulate and infuse them using magic. Second, an unnatural, almost impossible affinity to the elements that these runes control. The user can use these runes situated on his body to spawn a variety of elemental effects. This particular magic was birthed by the awakening of unique and ancient blood, making it extremely difficult to replicate with only one person wielding it, classifying it as a type of lost magic.
Strengths:
- Very versatile magic, can be used in many situations
- Provides a range of diverse offensive, defensive and support spells alike
Weaknesses:
- While it is very versatile, the user chooses to utilize different elements in combat instead of one, making it impossible to specialize
- While the runes themselves cannot be eaten by slayers, the elemental effects they produce can
- Since the magic uses 5 different elements for it's spells it can be eaten by a range of slayer types rather than just one
Unique Abilities:
- Renovatio - The hidden Rune: The user has a powerful magic rune situated in his left eye. This rune has absorbed magic energy for most of Johann's life and continues to do so, now releasing the magic energy for him to use freely. This grants an additional 5% MP regain per round.
- Renovatio - The shielding Rune: The users body is largely covered in black runes that, upon closer inspection, almost look like they have been burnt onto the skin. These runes give the user an incredible healing factor, closing wounds instantly, healing damaged organs in seconds and even regenerating lost limbs. This grants a 5% HP regain every other round.
- Suscitatio - Master of Runes:The wielder of this magic will temporarily combine the power of his blood with the power of his magic to reach his ultimate potential. The user can, once per thread and for the duration of 8 posts, infuse his magics with any of the elements he commands (Light, Darkness, Ice, Fire, Lightning) through his runes, giving the magic the elements' properties along with its primary ones. This increases spell power by 50% increasing by an additional 5% per rank above D and makes slayers unable to consume the magic due to the mixing of elements. Should they consume it regardless they will start to feel sick, instead losing the MP they were supposed to gain by consuming the spell.

Description:
The user activates a rune that is etched into his torso, temporarily allowing him to produce an aura that'll break the light in a way that will make him invisible. The user can still be heard, and for those that can detect scent he is still detectable, but is completely undetectable through sight.
Strengths:
- Turns the user invisible for a short while
Weaknesses:
- User can still be detected by other means
- Other's with heightened senses can easily detect the user

Description:
The user activates a rune that is etched into his fingers, flames bursting forth to cover his fists or melee weapons in scorching fire. This will grant an additional 55% melee damage.
Strengths:
- Increases melee damage
- Potentially increases damage against opponents weak against fire

- Has to be used in melee to be effective
- Needs to be able to freely use hands

Description:
The user activates a rune that is etched into his arm, causing intense sparks to spring up all around it, covering it entirely. The user then channels them into a lightning spear and throws it at an opponent within 200m, striking them for B-rank damage. The lightning effect will linger, causing the opponent hit by the spell to lose 60% speed for their next 3 rounds.
Strengths:
- Can slow opponents (of equal or lower rank)
- Lightning can scorch / melt / ignite materials
Weaknesses:
- Can be eaten by relevant slayers (Lightning)
- The spell is made of lightning and thus somewhat ineffective against materials that aren't conductive
- Needs to be able to freely move arms

The user activates a rune that is etched into the back of his hands, spreading them, causing the air in a 75m radius to cool down rapidly, producing ice and extremely low temperatures and freezing everyone caught within for A-rank damage. Additionally, opponents hit by the spell will be frostbitten, making moving extremely hard, slowing their speed by 65% for the next 5 turns

Description:
The user activates a rune that is etched into both palms, accumulating dark energy in them, bringing them together to release a strong beam of dark energy with a maximum range of 400m that will penetrate most materials for S-rank damage. Additionally, this unholy attack deals an extra 50% of damage against light, godly or other holy beings, but also 50% less damage against dark, demonic or other unholy beings.

- Beam can penetrate most materials
- Additional damage against holy foes

Description:
The user activates a rune that is etched into the back of his feet, spawning a shield of sparking lightning before himself that extends 3 meters in each direction. The shield can deflect up to 180 points of damage before it breaks and follows the user.

- Can be eaten by relevant slayers (Lightning)
- Can only take so much before the spell breaks

Description:
The user activates a rune that is etched into the tips of his fingers, creating an aura of cold around his hand that is nearly absolute zero before engaging a single opponent in melee range with the spell, freezing them for B-rank damage. Additionally, the harsh and extreme cold freezes the body partially, making it extremely difficult to move, paralyzing the target for their next turn.

Description:
The user activates a rune that is etched into his hands, causing scorching hot flames to shoot forth, explosively coating an area of 150m around him in intense flame with complete disregard for collateral damage, setting ablaze all, scorching flames lingering in the area for the duration of the spell. The fire will burn everyone within the area for 0.5x A-rank damage. Additionally, opponents hit by the spell will be set on fire for their next 4 rounds, dealing an additional 0.5x A-rank damage per round.
Strengths:
- Does great damage to anyone and everything caught in the fire
- Opponents can be set on fire

- The DoT effect can be neutralized by water magic

Description:
The user activates any one of the elemental runes on his body, coating his fists or melee weapons in the element of choice (Light, Darkness, Ice, Fire, Lightning) for a quick, magically enhanced strike that'll knock targets back 50m and deal S-rank damage + the user's melee damage.

- Knocks a target (of equal or lower rank) back

Advanced Spell Name: Elementalist's Aura

Description:
From the users body emanates a heavy, sinister grey and purple aura, the physical manifestation of demonic killing intent that explosively fills the area in his rank+ burst range with one of the elements the user commands (Light, Darkness, Ice, Fire, Lightning), covering it in a blazing elemental storm comprised of one of the elements as well as covering the terrain in the spells AoE in the element of choice. Anyone trapped in the storm will receive rank+ damage per turn they stay within the storm. Additionally, enemies within the storm will have their speed reduced by 105% due to the onslaught of elemental effects around them, making it hard to do as much as move within.
Strengths:
- Extremely powerful spell, can completely devastate the area around the user
- Covers the terrain in the AoE in the element of choice
Weaknesses:
- Can hurt friends and foes alike
- Can be eaten by a wide range of slayers (Light, Darkness, Ice, Fire, Lightning, depending on the element used)
