It was a fairly normal day for Johann. He woke up at relatively early hours as he always did, standing in front of the mirror in his quarters, looking at his outfit. It was natural for him to always look the part and place great value on his outward appearance and etiquette, especially when he was wearing one of his various company uniforms, be it the white formal suit he was usually wearing, the grey and white version of his favourite coat or what he considered to be a casual outfit, a grey vest over a white formal shirt and a grey pair of pants. He had decided on a formal white shirt and his coat for today, he needed something that would allow him to be flexible, he planned on taking up a job today, after all, maybe that'd help him to distract himself. Still, he couldn't get rid of the feeling that something was off with him recently, but he pushed it aside. He couldn't allow himself to be slacking off, be it not only for his own sake, but for the sake of his guild mates as well, reminiscing the story about the people of his "old home" that Ruvel had told him about. He had to be ready for the worst case scenario at all times. Still, there was no sign of threat, so he decided to relax for the time over a good breakfast. Maybe that would help him regain some of his strength.
A short while later he sat down at one of the tables in the mess hall, a pair of lightly toasted slices of bread, scrambled eggs a mixed salad with chicken breast before him. He had been lucky to join the West Fiore Trading Company, for a glutton like him there was nothing better than the mess hall. Not only were they open literally 24/7 because people arrived at the headquarters of the West Fiore Trading Company all around the clock for trade , they also served pretty much anything in the ordinary you could ask for. Johann, who frequently enjoyed the cuisine, probably enjoyed this place, along with the nigh indestructible training hall, the most. He finished his breakfast while still lost in thoughts, the strange feeling still present in his chest. Not only did the food not really help, the feeling of sickness seemed to spread more and more throughout his body with each passing day. He decided to keep it to himself for now, he didn't want to worry any of his guild mates. Besides, what if the strange feeling would disappear in the near future with him making a fuss about nothing ? He shook his head and left it at that, standing up from his seat, making his way over to the job board to pick something for the day.
He found several interesting things, but one flyer in particular caught his eye, signed by the Rose Garden city guard and both, the Magic Council AND the Rune Knights. A job about taking down a wanted and, from what he could gather, extremely dangerous man who was haunting Rose Garden with his gang of thugs and criminals, with the city guard unable to locate him. To Johann, this was a sign of desperation and he couldn't let this slide without helping, ripping the flyer from the job board. Luckily, he carried his equipment with him at almost all times and had finished work on his teleportation spell, eliminating the need for travel or supplies. He was ready to go, all he needed was a little breeze, a little wind ... . He notified Alisha of his leave and made his way outside the HQ building, stepping out of the front doors to be greeted by the soft morning sun and the fresh ocean breeze. Ready to make his way to Rose Garden, he walked away from the HQ building for the nearby woods. There was no need to perform a spectacle for curious bystanders, after all ... .

"And just where do you think you are going off to on your own?" Came a voice not far from Johann. Approaching the speed wizard was one of the guilds newest members, a very tall, very broad man in dark armor, with a massive shield and a nasty looking sword on his hip. This man was Akryn, a strong wind wizard who was known for his brutish and straight forward style, just the kind of guy you would want to bring along on any sort of fight, though one could wonder what he was up to now. "I had my eyes on that there mission you took, the one with the castle crasher. I already checked with the lady back behind the counter, and she said it would be alright if we rolled out on this job together. Names Akryn, pleasure to meet you." The massive individual said, extending a large hand to the man before him. "I specialize mostly in close quarters combat, I'm a serious brawling type. Could come in handy against a bunch of nasty and mysterious enemies, especially the ones we cant find so easy. I heard you was a speedster. Could come in hand for quick exploration and hunting, eh?" Akryn said with a large grin.
Inside Akryn was wincing. He hated working with people to be honest, he didn't trust most of them and without appropriate teamwork training and plenty of team building exercises it was easy to miscommunicate and make mistakes. But Cirven had made it clear that Akryn needed to start bonding with some of his fellow guild mates, and he had truly had his eye on this job. It was the perfect opportunity really, as they both would gain something from it, though Akryn doubted that it would keep Cirven quiet for very long. But even a little bit of peace for his research and cooking was better than none. "Well then. Shall we get going?"

Johann was about to spread his arms and manifest the magic circle beneath his feet when he was approached by someone and turned around to see a gigantic brute of a man standing there, grinning down on him. He had seen the man before at some occasions, he called himself Akryn and was, like Johann, one of the newer members of the West Fiore Trading Company. Johann, who, after his initial confusion, gave the man a friendly smile and bowed before him as he always did for greeting, addressed the man, who was already dressed in menacing armor and carried a broad gigantic sword as well as a ginormous shield, in a friendly manner :"Good day, sir. I was just about to head to Rose Garden." The man named Akryn was certainly ready for battle, which he explained only seconds later by telling Johann that he, too, was interested in the job Johann had his eyes on. Johann naturally had no objections to a guild mate joining him on a quest, the more the better, especially since he wasn't feeling like himself in recent times. He wouldn't pass up the ability to get to know one of the other people in his guild better, might even make some friends. Johann wasn't one shying away from teamwork.
"I'd be more than happy if you'd join me, good sir. The more the better, after all." He shook the man's hands with a friendly smile, even though he had to get on the tip of his toes to even do that properly. "I, too, specialize in close quarter combat" Johann gave back, pointing at the rapier on his side. "Your magic is perfect for brawling ?And yes, mine is perfect for surprise attacks or duels of all kind and of course, as you said ..." Johann continued with a sinister grin "... hunting." Johann looked up to the man's face "If that is what you want in a job partner I'd love to team up, and I see you are ready to go as well. Make sure to stand beside me, and cover your ears. The pressure and the sound might hurt them a bit, but knowing that you're a wind mage as well I'm sure you'll be fine." Johann gave off a warm laugh "I hope you're ready." With that, a large, white magic circle appeared beneath their feet, turning them both into wind within the blink of an eye. Just seconds later they appeared at Rose Garden, the city stretching out before them. "Well then, let's get to it, good sir. Let's find this "Castle Killer" ..."
