“Hey, uh, it’s Grema. Listen, I need some help. I’m locked out of my house. Now before you start yelling at me, just know that my house isn’t some usual cozy little cottage. It’s the home of a scientist and I might have gone a tad overboard with the security features. And my new pet, Game Changer (you haven’t met him yet and you will wish you didn’t) kind of set one of my prototype AI’s on the system. So now the stupid mutt is stuck in my room at the bottom of the place and we need to get there before he dies and to unlock to security features.
Hurry up.
Grema”
You heard her, get to the bottom of Grema Fen’s house before her precious pet dies a mechanical death! Her den has 3 floors of basements and you must roll 5 dice in every room and defeat all monsters before heading into the next floor before reaching Grema’s bedroom at the end. To get into the security vault and save Game Changer you must battle the ultimate boss, the crazy AI Vectron!
The good news is that Grema knows all of the weaknesses to the security features and of course the best way through her house. Each robot is weak to electrical and fire attacks, but strong against earth/steel and ice attacks!
Enemies:
Weak:
Nano Flies (x10), these crazy metal bugs are the size of your thumb and move at A rank speed. They have little stingers on them that do D rank damage, which adds up since there are a lot of them. It only takes one hit to kill one though
Normal:
Clean-O-Bot (x2), these guys were only made to clean and organize Grema’s place, but she had built in security features for kicks. She now regrets that decision. Each one carries clearing equipment of some kind and that along with its water type damage does C rank damage each. It takes 5 hits to go down.
Strong:
Rollo Droid, a seemingly harmless looking metal ball with glowing blue outlines rolling around the area, formerly to act as both a security feature and guide. Once it spots you the blue glow turns to green, then red as it begins to attack. It blasts a beam of energy not unlike Grema’s Magitech blast, doing A rank damage and moves at S rank speed. It must stop and aim to fire it’s blast though, so that’s when you hit! But once you destroy it the droid will start blinking orange faster and faster until it explodes (3 meter radius) 5 second later, dealing S rank damage. It takes 10 hits to go down.
Boss:
Magitech Centurion. Made after Grema’s own tech, this 7-foot tall robot of steel muscle hides between the wall until someone trips and invisible lazar trap. It does A rank melee damage and shoots S rank damage lazars from it’s chest, but only moves at C rank speed. Blunt object attacks (not including blasts or explosions) only do 50% of the damage. It has a special attack where it spins at S rank speed, powering up its arms with energy to hit its opponents with. It takes 15 hits to go down.
Final Boss:
The AI who started all of this trouble. Vectron has taken over the final obstacle, the security door, and used bots to upgrade it. Now it has become a weird magitech-steampunk tentacle monster, cruder looking than even Grema could make up. There are 4 tentacles protecting the core, which you cannot hit until all tentacles go down. The tentacles do A rank of damage and occasionally the core will be unveiled only to shoot and S rank beam than hones into a target. Once the core is unveiled beams of energy will come out of the floor at random intervals, dealing A rank damage, and occasionally the core will release and energy wave, sending all of those near it flying to the other end of the room and dealing A rank damage. It takes 5 hits for a tentacle to go down, and once they are all down it takes 10 hits to the core to destroy it, killing the AI and giving you access to the security vault.
