Different coatings and creations have different effects, but they are only activated upon impact. This magic is very offensive and offers little to no defense.
Strengths: It can be used for ranged or close combat. Coatings and creations differ in abilities giving a variety of options in battle. Very High offensive potential.
Weaknesses: Little to no defense at all. Uses alot of magic to create and pre-coat a spear in one spell. Because of the different coatings, the magic has different weaknesses depending on what is being used. Cannot create coat or wield two spears at the same time. Majority of spells only focused in the tip of the spear.

This spell lasts over a period of time.
Strengths: It focuses all of the magical energy into the tip making ideal for piercing and straight forward offense. It can pierce weak defenses(D Rank. As it is coated to a spear,it takes on all the advantages of the spear itself such as range capability, throwing possibilities, ect.
Weaknesses: You have to land the attack for it to take effect. The strength of the spell is very low even though it is a purely offensive spell. The coating is weak enough to get broken by a sturdy defense(C Rank and above). No defense whatsoever. Not lethal. Cannot be used with another coating spell. The explosion blows from the tip outward as to not destroy the spear tip itself.

This spear is made of pure magical energy making it florescent and glowing. On impact the spear opens up into several strands of rope and weaves around the opponent restraining them tightly.
Strengths: Great for trapping opponents to set up attacks or to make an escape. As a spear,it takes on all the advantages of the spear itself such as range capability, throwing possibilities, ect.
