Advent Chronicles (Social w/ Tamashi & Aera Tylidae)

It had been a strange couple of days, my few days in Magnolia were a whir, leading me to hide away from the hectic city of Magnolia, into their verdant forests to the east. Many people tarried here a short time, at least in the shallow forests, but I headed deeper beyond these people. I headed deep into the lush forests themselves, passing beasts of all manner, those of great power passing over me as I was too little a target to hunt, and those of equal or lesser being avoided my strange, unnatural aura. I made my way deep, and hid among the ancient trees that tower far above the younger trees, and the verdant greens from the vines that meshed with the deep brown bark. Most of the animals ventured far away from this grove of sorts, being a creature that held the power to frighten other animals away held sway, but as I entered, it chased itself off. I sat in this deep, pondering forest den, and sat against the tree that stood at the back of it, and nodded of into a meditative state, holding myself straight-backed and true.

Advent had been travelling for the longest of time and had found himself deep inside Magnolia's East forest, a smile was on his face as this was where he had met the one whom he now seen as his elder brother, the only one whom could get away with calling him by a girls name, that person was Zeno. At first he was confused by this, as there was no one named Ruby around and no-one was in possession of such gem. It was then he had remembered what he seen in their joining and took on the roll of younger sibling, even if that roll gave him a girls name; it seemed to the white haired youth that it made Zeno more at peace perhaps even a bit happier. He knew everything of the other there was no secrets, Zeno on the other hand had seen almost everything but there was one piece that had been shrouded due to being dormant but if asked upon it he would let them know without fail.

By the time he got to the heart of the forest it had become dark, he was tired and slightly hungry but decided that he could just eat in the morning not wanting to take more than what was needed from the world around him. Moving to the largest tree he placed his hand on it followed by his forehead "It's late elder one, may I ask for your protection this evening while I sleep?" his voice was quiet and sleepy and gentle, after a few minutes he climbed up the tree and went to a branch about a quarter way up the tree before sitting down and falling hanging up and down his eyes closing as he started to drift off to sleep.

Words broke my silent reverie from the simple mouth of a white haired youth, speaking genuinely and nicely. He then climbed up into the tree, and hid among the branches of the far-ancient oak I sat beneath. I turned into a shadow and raised myself along the tree branches moving silently to watch over this youth, hidden high among the still branches, among the verdant greens, browns, and fading, just watching this strange youth, the strange, white haired youth that completely missed me in his path to rest.

It soon became active in the forest, nocturnal predators who were hungry ventured further from this ancient grove, and those that didn't met a grizzly end at the pointed end of Gae Bulg, leaving a graveyard in front of the trees, leaving the scavengers of the forest a feast. I made sure to kill each beast in a manner that didn't upset the youth's rest, I don't know why, we just did. Those who came by, small humans, or humanoids, that came and went like the wind, bringing water to the trees, and feeding the deer that came by. They made a disgusted noise at the dead on the ground in front, so after they left I took it upon myself to pull each corpse into my shadow, bringing them into my repertoire of bodies to control. I continued this pattern of almost ritual slaughter until the early morning sun peaked through the trees, if only a couple rays. I then faded back against the trees, hiding myself before the youth woke.

Advent had been fully aware to the woman's presence but she had no attempt to approach him and so he decided to leave her alone at least for now since he was tired. 'Goodnight big brother' he sent through his new found link to his team mate Zeno. As he drifted off he swayed backwards and forwards as he hung upside down his hair looking as if snow had drifted down and just drift in the middle of the air. Where most people would had likely fallen sleeping how he was he had remained perfectly still other than the swaying with the wind. Even though he was asleep the blind boy was fully aware of the death happening around him though remained ever still, he needed the rest and would deal with the issue when he woke.

A few hours before dawn he stretched his legs falling from the tree it almost like he had forgotten where he had fallen asleep for a moment but this wasn't the case as he twisted landing silently on the ground his head moving around almost as if viewing the death around him "I'm sorry for the forest's loss" he whispered his head moving to the large tree as he spoke nodding "It's the least I can do elder one for you giving me shelter and protection" he said quietly moving to start creating holes, he was pretty sure he wasn't the one who had done this horrible thing for if he had he may have wanted to harm himself once more as he swore never to do harm if he could help it. "You can stop hiding you know, I knew you where there before I fell asleep" he said calmly continuing the task of burying the slaughtered animals "There was no reason to slay these poor people" it was an odd thing to say that was for sure but they had emotions, feelings, families and other normal things that humans and other races had so they had as much right to be classed as people as they had.

I looked at him nervously as he dug into the earth and buried my new blood puppets from within the shadow. He was an interesting sort, from what I knew, but I was immediately interrupted by Mz. Hyde as she scoffed aloud: "Well, when one defends a sleeping boy in the midst of their dreams from forest predators, one expects a thanks, not a lecture. I can guess, though, that you have some strange connection to nature, to feel all of the death that I cause. Well, since you're up now, I'll get going, since you don't need me anymore, and since I don't like people. So, this is where we part ways, Ceann beag. Is féidir le fortún tú a bheith ina bhfabhar." with that, I turned away, and I vanished into the shadow, fading back through the underbrush.

Advent tilted his head as he heard the woman's voice only to quirk an eyebrow with what she said, a sigh escaping his lips "I can't thank you for the carnage you caused, no more than I could be angry for a wolf hunting" he said continuing to dig the hole he was currently making "I was in no danger as I rested, I assure you" his tone was calm as he smiled his hand going to the bear beside him "Nature has it's own way of doing things, but the elder tree gave me protection so nothing here would have harmed me." his tone showed this is what he believed, but then how could he not this was how he was raised. "I have no strange connection to nature, one of my parents used nature magic however... she taught me how to understand and act towards it" he said starting to put the bear into the hole with a bit of a struggle.

"I have a connection to other things that told me of the damage and sorrow you caused the forest" he said honestly his voice filled with sorrow. Hearing how this person felt like she could cause destruction without dealing with the consequences Advent stood his eyes glaring right at her through the shadows that where meant to conceal her, almost like they weren't there or had abandoned her "No, you are remaining... you're going to help with buring those you slaughtered then you're going to apologise to the elder tree for the unneeded death you caused!" his voice was still calm for the most part but there was a bit of a hostile undertone in it, to him it was needless loss of life and that their only apparent crime was moving around their home that they had every right to do.
