Personality: Mai Silverheart, despite being very young, isn't as young mentally as her actual age would lead one to believe. She is mentally, generally younger than your average teenager, but not a complete child. Mai enjoys having fun with her uncle and parents, playing games, and the like. While she isn't exactly childish, calling her mature would definitely be a stretch. Despite this, Mai is very intelligent. She was raised with Alex teaching her furiously, not allowing for much fun time due to all of the studies that took place. However, this led Mai to gain general knowledge over many things, and gain an extremely analytical mind. So, this can actually lead others to underestimate her intelligence, as she is pretty immature, while still being a very smart individual.
In terms of relationships with others, Mai isn't a complete and total extrovert, but is in no way an introvert. If no one actively seeks out conversation with her, she won't go out of her way to make it. But, with this being said, she doesn't try to purposely avoid speaking with others, nor does she not like conversation. In fact, Mai is very eccentric and pretty happy, especially around others. It takes quite a bit to actually dampen her mood, and Mai often will use different coping mechanisms to avoid darker emotions, such as telling bad jokes and thinking about very happier things. Mai puts away all negative emotions, bottling them up in a vault in the back of her mind. While this may not be good for her, it is all she has considering the short span of her life.
As for simple habits and things she likes to do, Mai generally likes to tell jokes to open up and break the ice, despite her being a terrible jokester. She will do things to occupy herself such as counting the leaves on trees or trying to find patterns in nature, or just simply drawing. She also has a knack for learning of Midi's history, especially with her uncle being directly from the foreign country, and her mother being half midian. This has led her to begin a study on Midian culture, tradition, and literature, which she also enjoys reading quite a bit.
In Combat, Mai tries her best to mimic the fighting style of her uncle, while matching the tactical prowess of her mother. This way, she can have mastery over mind and blade, and simply outplay her opponent with abilities beyond their own. However, Mai doesn't exactly enjoy getting into fights, and would like above all else to avoid conflicts on any occassion other than simple sparring, but she will fight if necessary. Under a leader, Mai acts very respectable towards her superior, trying to follow their every possible order within reasoning. That being said, she is still noble at heart, and won't go against her own ideals. As a leader, Mai will try her best to mimic what her mother would do, trying to be a sound strategist and avoid any possible failure, putting the team above her own personal safety, thinking them to be more important than herself.

*Dolls - Dolls were given to her from the start of her life, and she's treasured each and every one, even making them the basis of her magic
*Strategy - Be it a game of chess or an actual battlefield, Alex has taught Mai how to be an effective strategist, and Mai enjoys being one
*Ghosts - Ironic, considering her upbringing around someone who has a fear of ghosts, but Mai really loves ghosts, ghost stories, and all things related to those spoopy specters
*Games - Very simple like, but Mai enjoys generally having fun in any way she deems, mostly being through playing games.
*Drawing - Mai keeps a sketchbook that is never without a drawing in it, and she really heavily loves sketching, but HATES coloring beyond belief
