[Dark] Everything is permitted (Sloth and Naraku)

The rune letters cluttered around the middle of nowhere. Why are we here? asked Divia, Sloths spirit who was trapped inthe Rune letters as well as Sloth. Because we ere ordered to. Its our first official mission to help with the releasing. she said with a smile. No not why are we here for the quest, i mean why the hell are we here. The middle no where. Divia barked.
As the rune letters flew to the ground Sloth yawned. Because you idiot, dont you think it would be fairly obvious that we were there is we showed up in a clutter of letter? the target would know something is up. As she walked out of the clutter of rune letters, she made sure to leave it open so that Divia could get out and not get trapped... again. As Divia came out she hughed.
Thank you! she yelled.
Your welcome. Sloth told her as she headed out towards the village. Now lets go. Our partner is probably from a dark guild, one of the big time guilds. I bet he or she is already there. she said continuing.
Divia laughed as she rushed to catch up with Sloth. Compared to Shadow wing, all guilds are big. We have like, 4 members. And thats counting out unofficial master. this made Sloth chuckle but then she realized something. She stopped and looked around. There was a giant river in front of her. There was also a bridge. We are here. Sloth stated. As she waked onto the bridge Divia looked at her. Here? this isn't a village, its a bridge.
as Divia stated this Sloth pointed forward. Divias mouth dropped as she saw it. It was a Village in the middle of the bridge. And it was a pretty big one at that. Lets hurry up, out partner should be at the entrance waiting for us. she said walking up to the gate.

At the entrance to the village sat a blonde haired figure who looked to be about 15. Her clothing style was simple and quite revealing. She wore knee high boots that were mostly white with a pink trim and tied up with a blood red ribbon, a short skirt that was about two inches below her buttocks in length, a pink boob tube that barely covered her breasts. Around her neck was a collar-like necklace that has the fang of her mother stored in a blue crystal. On her arms she wore long black leather glove that nearly go up to the shoulder. These were also tied with a ribbon. At her side was a white wolf. He was about 1m tall and about 2m long. This was her partner Fluffy. In truth she didn't look much like a dark guild member and this was a good thing. In the case of MOST missions she took part in she pretended to be part of the legal guild Silver Whale. However, this was a dark guild mission and as such didn't require her to hide her nature. However, she would still be hiding which guild she was part of. For this she was planning to be a wandering dark mage. Yes, she didn't look like one, but if you looked into her eyes you could see the darkness. Well, if you were experienced in it anyway. Her eyes were red, which was odd, but not evil. However, they had the distant look of one who can already see you dead or at least in agony. Quite scary really.

In the distance she saw a figure materialise out of runes and begin to approach. If that wasn't a mage then she didn't know what was. On top of that the scent they were producing had a faint evil tinge. She knew about these things. She had been raised by a demon after all and her guild master was one too. Yes, she had a weird life. She raised her hand in greeting as she rose to her feet.

"Hey I'm Naraku. You here for the job?" she asked. She didn't detail what job she meant, but if this person was a dark mage and here for this job they would know what she meant. In truth, she was glad to have an ally for such a mission. Her powers were suited for this, but an a rank mage...well that was going to be difficult. They'd need to use all the powers they had.

(OCC: not everyone knows this but yu can see my pet even though she is a ghost)

Sloth Yawned as she saw the girl walk up to her. The girl was around her age and was dressed in a very provocative manner. The girl then put out her hand in front of Sloth. She looked at the hand for a few seconds when Divia spoke. She wants you to shake it. she laughed aloud.
Sloth shook her head. Well of course... she said scratching the back of her head with one hand, and using the other to shake the girls head. "Hey I'm Naraku. You here for the job?" the girl asked Sloth. She looked at the girl, Naraku, for a few seconds. Is she talking about the same job i am here for? she wondered to herself. Its possible... but... she looked around. She didn't see any other people around. Yeah, this must be her. she told herself.
The conversation seemed as though it lasted hours, but only lasted mere seconds. Yes, i am. she said with a smile. What was with the wait? asked Divia. Before Sloth answered Divia screamed, and ran behind sloth. ITS A WOLF! she screamed.
Sloth slapped her forehead. And your a ghost, how are you afraid of a wolf. Sloth chuckled.
Divia was still hiding. As Sloth walked into the village through the gate she looked around. This place looks empty. Sloth said with a cold and dark hollowed out voice. Stay on your toes Naraku.

So the girl was her mission partner and came with her own partner, a ghost. Neither of them introduced themselves, but the spirit seemed afraid of Fluffy and hid behind Sloth. This caused the girl to grin. They could have a lot of fun with this spirit. Particularly when she saw Fluffy's REAL form. Or when Fluffy started talking. "So what's your name?" she asked curiously. Best to know your teammates' names. Otherwise it would be all 'oi you over there' which was never good for a teamwork situation. Naraku nodded to fluffy who in a few bounds got onto a roof and began to crawl along. Naraku did not join him. No, she followed Sloth. However, she was making sure to walk EXACTLY in her shadow. As she stepped into the shadow she faded until she was almost invisible. How this was achieved she couldn't explain, but it was part of her training. Her 'mother' could actually become a shadow and move through them. Naraku hadn't quite got to that level of skill, but the shadow camouflage was useful.

"Stealth is key." she whispered, barely audible. Only those right next to her should be able to hear her unless they had VERY good hearing. "Consider me a hidden weapon and act normal."

The frigged thing is Divia. Sloth said whipping her hair back. As they continued walking Sloth looked behind her. She noticed that Naraku was almost invisible. "Stealth is key." Naraku whispered.
Neet trick. Sloth said continuing to walk. She was walking a bit slow, mainly because she had a hunch that Naraku needed to stay in her Shadow. Sloth looked up to see the wolf running on the roof tops.
Sloth smiled. My name is un-known. she said. Even by me. As she looked further on she kept talking. But i am known as Sloth, by most that is. She said walking further into the Village.
Divia too was hiding in the shadows. She was in stealth mode, not see-able by humans. Its too quiet. This isn't normal. Sloth stated. Do you think they were tipped off. she whispered to Naraku.
I'm turning left at this corner. she told naraku. as she did, she stopped. Crap. she said. There were at least 50 people crowded around the street. This is the street the guy lives at. So much for no witnesses huh?
as she said this she turned to Naraku. I have to weave through this... she stated. Try and keep up. Sloth then began to weave in and out of the crowed. It was a very narrow street and it wasn't built for 50 people to be crowded around in.
We have to scare these people away some how. Sloth complained. Then it hit her. She took out her sword. Law of Suffering. A rune spread out through out the streets of the town. Surrounding it. People then began to scream in horror as there worst memory began to replay for them. Men and women, even children laid crying on the street.
Its there own fault really. Sloth said stepping over the body of a child who was sucking there thumb. Shall we continue?

'Monster Dice' :

Fifty people at least. In fact, a quick sniff confirmed there to be exactly 50. However, she sensed no magical power from them and thus ending them would be easy. Yet that would arouse too much suspicion. They needed a distraction. Something that would be enough to scare all these people off or kill them. She considered their move carefully. One of the building's shadows was near enough and she quickly stepped into it. Fortunately, Sloth's shadow was touching it thus making her transition undetectable except by those with exceptional eyesight. However, it seemed she would not have to do anything as her partner used her magic to traumatize people. Very nice. A truly interesting magic her partner possessed. As the girl walked Naraku stepped back into her shadow and considered their next move. She was keeping her eye out for any sign of potential threats. Fluffy was too. Naraku wasn't too worried yet. It seemed the target might be aware of some threat, but didn't know where it was coming from. With luck she could get in a critical blow and end a battle with him instantly. Of course, they had to find the guy first. It seemed that finding him would be delayed slightly as two mages with strong magical auras seemed to appear out of nowhere. In fact, if Naraku believed her eyes it seemed that one of them had been a postbox before they appeared. Illusion mages. How irritating. Particularly as they were powerful ones. They really were being expected.

However, they were just one worry. With a gesture of their hands 24 people wearing rune knight garbs appeared out of nowhere. Various objects seemed to turn into them. The illusion mages were good. Sound, sight and smell. If one of them had failed then either herself or fluffy would of been able to detect them. They were probably working together in order to give themselves the extra power. Within the 24 people she detected four magical auras roughly equal to her own. That made things a lot more interesting.

It was at this point that the wolf let out a loud howl and leapt down from the rooftops glowing brightly as he did so. As his feet touched the ground he was no longer a 1m long, 2m tall wolf. No he was now four times that size and growling quite loudly. The wolf had shown his true form. Naraku however would not reveal herself just yet. She stepped out of the shadow and into the shadow of the building once more. This would allow her partner free movement. She would launch attacks of course, but was planning to keep herself hidden and make it seem like Sloth and Fluffy were launching her attacks. Tricky, but possible.

'Monster Dice' :

Sloth looked around. She was confused to see that random object were now turning into people. Rune Knights? she said with a laugh. This did not worry her at all. She could tell there were about 15, maybe 16 of them. You are all idiots. she said lifting up her hands. This spell will take alot out of me. So what ever is still kicking, you should try and destroy, with that she took out her sword. She then rewrote the rune to say "CELESTIAL LAW". As the Rune began to change she smiled. Naraku, do you have a shield. she then snapped her figures. I bet you do, SO USE IT! with that she clung on to Naraku as 104 meteors rained down from the sky, trying to back into all of the enemies.
Sloth wtched as the sky lit up with fire, and was then tossed down onto the ground. People were screaming and some bystanders were killed, but so were some Rune Knights.
10 Rune Knights laid dead on the ground. Indents filled the floor as people shouted. Childeren cried, and Sloth smiled. Your turn, she told naraku.

Naraku did not use a shield. Where she was, that was out of range of the attacks. Or she moved out of the range anyway. Fluffy, well he heard the words and with surprising speed leapt onto the roof, sprung off of it and landed behind Sloth. A safe area, or so he hoped. When the storm was over, or at least appeared to be, the wolf charged in. His targets were simply the non-magic users. He could identify them by scent. They were of little threat overall, but they could be annoyances so he was taking them out. His attacks were with claws and fangs. Truly a devastating combination as they were razor sharp and very hard. 10 of them had already fallen to the meteors and now another ten would fall to his onslaught, or so he intended. For such a large wolf he was impressively fast.

Naraku meanwhile had been moving through the shadows and getting nearer to the mages. The illusion mages were standing back for now and watching as if waiting for something. The four other mages, each one of a different element, had formed a rough square and between them a magic circle had formed. A powerful looking attack and likely a combination of their elements. Not good. They had to be stopped. Fortunately, they had a shadow near them and a single attack could be enough to take them out. With a flick of her wrist she threw a tiny needle of shadow that struck almost in the middle of the four mages.

"Hell Demon's shadow flower" From the shadow erupted a wide formation of spikes that formed a rough flower shape. In the centre was a single spike that was 20ft long, the rest were all 10ft. Very deadly and enough to possibly hit the illusion mages as well as the four c ranks.

Fluffy's onslaught was truly fearsome and soon ten bodies were strewn about him and his body was stained with blood. The blood was not only that of his opponent's though. As he struck five of them had managed to stab him causing quite a bit of damage, but not enough to worry him. What did worry him was the huge magical blast from the four mages. Naraku's shadow flower had taken out three of them, somehow missing one of them by luck and not quite reaching the other two mages. However, the spell was launched just before they fell. The huge blast of elemental energy hit the wolf and sent him flying sideways through a building. The wolf whimpered. He wasn't dead, but he was severely hurt. Naraku growled and began preparing for one of her other deadly spells.

Sloth watched. She had never used her attack at that level. The last tie she used it was against 3 foes, this one was against 26. She was feeling a bit Dizzy but managed to stay on her feet. She watched as Naraku didn't even move. She was amazed that the little girl wasn't even the tiniest bit afraid that meteors were falling from the sky. It was Sloths spell and even she was scared.
As she watched the Narakus Wolf take down 10 men, something that she had to send comets out in the field to do, she realized just how strong the little girl was. Then when she took out 3 of the 4 illusion mages, she was impressed. She... is so strong. she sad getting up off of her knees.
She looked t Divia. Do something about the Mages. she said with a smile. Divia smiled. Well of course. Divia smiled flying into the sky. She looked down at the 7 jewels on her neck flew off. They then began to absorb the dark energy around.
The absorption stopped by the time the Jewels had reached B-rank power. Divia smiled as she sent down 3 of the 7 jewels down towards the remaining illusion mage.
The 3 jewels struck through the illusion mage, then it disappeared. Wait what? Sloth said. Then the Illusion mage appeared behind her. She turned her head in confusion.
So fast! she said as the Illusion mage sent out an attack. it looked as if it was a dragon. It spit out fire but Sloth smiled. C-rank damage. the word "REFLECTOR" appeared in way of the attack. Not only did it block the attack, but it bounced back at the Illusion mage. As the mage hit the ground Sloth smiled.
That makes 11.. she said holding on to the side o a building. How am i already this tiered... she thought to herself.

Her partner had used her spirit to try and take out one of the illusion mages, but it seemed the illusion mages position had merely been an illusion. Such a powerful attack was wasted. However, the young female did manage to take out the real mage by reflecting an attack back at the mage. The distance was point blank and so did a lot more damage. Truly a useful magic this young woman had. If it hadn't been for that attack she would likely be dead or unconscious. However, she did seem quite tired. Stamina was not something the girl possessed it seemed. That was unfortunate. Within the shadows Naraku could continuously refuel her stamina by eating the shadows. Their were two targets remaining. An elemental mage and an illusion mage. Neither had yet realised of her presence. The exhaustion of her partner was proving useful. It made them think all this magic was coming from her and not from another source. It would be necessary to keep it this way. It would allow the mission to be more successful. That did not mean she wouldn't punish the elemental mage for their damage to Fluffy, who was crawling out of the rubble slowly and rather pitifully.

The hell demon slayer spread her arms and concentrated. Wind began to swirl around one hand and dark energy round the other. This was perhaps revealing her location, but for now it seemed that the attack was just forming in the shadows. These two energies were focused into the tips of her index and middle finger for three seconds before she formed a cross shape and whispered the words "Hell Fang Zephyr." Ten blades of black wind were launched over the 20ft distance between her and the two mages. A distance that was covered in a second. Six blades were aimed at the elemental mage and four at the illusionist. This seemed contradictory as the illusion mage was stronger, but she wanted to punish the elemental mage and on top of that she wasn't sure if the illusion mage was where they seemed to be.

The elemental mage began charging up a large fireball whilst Naraku was in the process of this. The target was Fluffy. The ball would be enough to take out the demon for the rest of the battle, if he was unlucky. The illusion mage began to make gestures with
his hands, but didn't appear to be launching an attack as of yet. The fire mage however never got out his attack because all six blades hit him slicing him into pieces. The illusion mage was also hit by the four blades and heavily cut. He wasn't yet dead, but he was too weak to continue and fell unconcious. All of their opponents were currently dead.

The wind magic Hell Fang Zephyr was a combination attack using her primary magic, that of the Hell Demon Slayer, and her secondary magic, wind. The spell was quite exhausting due to using a non-primary skill and the girl sat down in the shadow. Fluffy had finally emerged from the rubble at this point, but he was badly hurt. It would take a while before he could fight at his full capacity once more.

Sloth watched as the girl took out the remaining Mages. She felt sorry that her wolf got hurt so much, but not too bad. As she walked over she looked at the ground. She then passed out. After 3 seconds of sleeping her eyes sprung open. She leaped onto her feet and smiled towards Naraku.
All better! she cheered. Divia flew down towards Sloth and Naraku. You always pass out. she chuckled. Yeah but that doesn't really matter. Thats all i needed to recover stanima. she said streching. She then looked at Naraku. So, what now? I bet you he knows we are here. she said with a smile.
She then turned her head. His house should be right their. she said with a smile as she pointed the the house just on the other side of the street.
Or maybe we will get lucky and he is taking a nap. she said with an even bigger grin.
As she finished speaking, the doors of the building flung open. Yet another 50 people poured out of the room. They were all laughing, and cheering, that is, until they saw all of the bodies and blood on the ground. They all screamed and charged out of the building.
Great, more company. she said with a chuckle. She then walked towards the group of people. Ladies and gentleman, she said with a smile. Please get the **** out of here before you nd up like these lovely people.
And with that, the people yelled as they ran as far away as they could. Sloth chuckled when she noticed people tripping over bodies and over there dresses. Now for the big fish. she said putting her hand on the door.

Naraku was not naturally a quiet person, nor was she normally stealthy despite one of her powers being a very useful stealth ability. She normally liked to talk to her allies and get to know them. Not because she cared about them, well if they weren't in her guild she didn't, but because knowledge equaled power. Learning about your allies on these missions could give useful information that you could use on them if they ever became your enemies. And if she understood D'Nalsta's plan correctly then soon enough every guild would become their enemies. So that was why she was normally chatty. However, for this one she was not. The reason was simple. Stealth was key. The opponent was supposedly an A-rank mage and whilst she was confident in her level of skill she was not confident she could take an A-Rank head on. Even with Fluffy at full strength and two powerful partners she doubted they would be able to take down this A-Rank mage. At least, not by hitting him head on. She stepped into her partner's shadow and as she did she spoke once more

"Fluffy give me ripper and then head home. You're too weak to fight." she said calmly. The wolf nodded and walked over opening his mouth wide and she reached into his mouth and pulled out her scythe. It was her second favourite weapon and also her most powerful. It would be a useful tool. Particularly as whilst using it her magic power was slightly increased giving her an edge. Once the scythe was taken the wolf began to run off slowly and eventually picking up speed. It was at this point that her partner began to open the door. Would their opponent be behind the door? Or would someone else? No, as they opened the door another large crowd of people were visible.

'Monster Dice' :

Sloth withheld opening the door as Naraku walked up to her. As the girl stepped into Sloths shadow, Naraku began to vanish like last time. Not only that, but she called the wolf over. Sloth could tell that Divia was shivering at sight of the wolf, but that wasn't even close to the shivering Sloth did when it opened its mouth and pushed out a scythe.
As the little girl grabbed the scythe Sloth could practically feel the power level of Naraku raise. If your using your weapon, i should use mine too. she said reaching into her pocket. She pulled out 2 gloves. 1 Was from her master, Lucifer. It was a piece of legendary armer that could suck up almost any attack thrown at her. Another, was a weapon of her own. Both gloves looked nearly identical, except the one lucifer gave her had a red magic circle on the back.
*Slap* was the sound of her finishing putting them on. She then put her hand back on the door. Stay close. she said opening the door. If the target was waiting for them behind the door, they were almost screwed. How ever, with Narakus power, Devia, and Sloths power, they might equal an A-rank, or maybe an over powered B.
As Sloth walked into the door, she looked around. It was another gigantic crowed of people. What the hell? she asked as she walked in. All of the people were dancing and a magical band was playing music in the corner. The music was so loud sh could barily hear herself think. No wonder they couldn't hear us... she mumbled. Sloth took another step into the building.stuck her hand out. Act natural. Sloth stated. As she began to wlk up the stairs she began to think to herself. Wait. That wont work. We are dressed liked normal people, and all of them are dressed like royalty... she turned her head to the sound and acted as if she was coughing.
Naraku, What do we do now? she asked her.

Naraku considered this point carefully and then looked at the magic band. They had amplifiers. "Find a way to protect your ears and then get me near the microphone. I have a spell that will daze them all and with the amplifier...it should help us against our target. It will however alert them to our presence." she said calmly and very quietly. However, it wasn't a 100% concrete idea. "Getting close will be tricky though. How about you dress up in someone's clothes? Maybe a rune knight who broke" They weren't dressed QUITE as fancy as these people, but should be enough to blend in with this crowd. They seemed quite out of it due to the music. They only needed a single outfit because Naraku could blend so well due to the shadows. "Its all I can think of. Stealth isn't really my thing." There wasn't much else she could do other then kill them all. But that wouldn't give them an edge against the other bad guys. It wasn't the best idea, but with what she knew of herself and her partner...it was all they could do.

"Up to you though...if you can think of something better...then we'll do it." she said. She hoped her partner DID have a better idea. It would be really useful. "Maybe your fear rune?" As she spoke two men began to walk down the staircase from the next floor. They were powerful mages. Equal to the two illusion mages from outside. They hadn't noticed them yet. "Leave quickly before they notice us."

'Monster Dice' :

Sloth was already halfway to the Microphone by the time naraku told her to get out before they were seen. Sloth didn't have any other ideas, other then the one naraku had just mentioned. Sorry hun. she said with a gulp. The door is a good 5 or 6 meters away. That might not seem like much, but with all of these people it will be hard to get too. Not to mention totally obvious that we are the ones who caused the damage out there if they see my try to get out with out being seen. she turned her head to Naraku.
Stealth isn't really my thing either. she told her. As she continued to walk she managed to get to the front of the room. She picked up Naraku and Set her on top of the stage. Do that attack you were talking about. I'll distract them while you do it. she then turned around and began to walk towards the Rune Knights. She then saw a pedestrian in the middle of the room. She quickly lifted up her sword. the word "PAIN" appeared. Sorry miss. she said as she flicked the Rune accross the floor as it hit a random women a good 10 meters away from Sloth The women screamed and the Rune Knights rushed over to her. Naraku now!

If her partner did not cover her ears then this would hurt quite a bit for her. The only one in the room who would not be damaged by this was Naraku herself. She grabbed hold of the mic and began to whistle. Dark energy focused into the sound and thus through the mic. Which was then amplified it further. The whistle normally did damage to the ears of everyone within 30ft of her. However, the sound was amplified and thus its distance was increased. Everyone in the building would hear the whistle. The whistle would cause loss of hearing for three posts and disorientation and loss of balance for two posts. The illusionists clutched their ears in pain as did all of the people in the room. They hadn't been able to attack yet. Naraku decided to use that moment to her advantage and charged straight at the illusionists swinging her scythe in a complex pattern. Three attacks for each of them which their disorientation and pain would prevent them dodging or blocking for now. Their disorientation made them hard targets and of the six attacks she launched, three for each, one missed each. The two strikes did not kill but they caused intense pain. They also took one arm off each. This was useful because from what she had seen of these mages they needed gestures with both hands to use their powerful spells. So she had effectively weakened them heavily.

"I did not want to reveal myself yet, but the game has changed." she said with a dark smile. They could not hear her, but her meaning was clear. The two mages looked quite scared. "And I hate it when the game changes...so now i'll have to break you...slowly."
