Guard my House!( Sukrio and Leonard)

Mari and Leonard walking from their guildhall, they enter Peace village. Mari has taken up a job that she knows she can't do alone, from what it sounds, it'll be rough, so she asked Guild Master Leonard of Fairy Tail to join her. Looking at the job flier, Mari reads that the one who asked for help is called Mr. Watson, and he needs help protecting his home from those bandits that want to steal his possessions. "It shouldn't take long before we can find him, Master." Mari said still looking around for the home of Mr. Watson. Mari went ahead asking people around for the whereabouts of Mr.Watson, Mari wanted to get there earlier, before he leaves so she can make sure how to protect the home from anyone. She didn't know Leonard that much being she has recently joined the guild, but she's heard that Leonard is strong, and a good ally. Mari hopes she can show him her strength, in battle.

Leonard had agreeded to go with Mari on her job which was to guard Mr. Watson's house from bandits. They went to Peace Village, where Mr. Watson's house is found. Walking with Mari, she said "It shouldn't take long before we can find him, Master.". Leonard looked at her and said "Don't call me that. I'm not your master. I'm just the guy in charge of the guild." saying it in a gleeful way. They continued walking in one sunny, peaceful day and the village was quiet and full of nice people. And it would seem that you can approach anyone for anything. After quite some time, they asked for the house's whereabouts. A few minutes passed and they saw Mr. Watson's huge house, worthy to be called a mansion. "Well, here we are Mari. You go on, I'll simply follow your lead. It's your job after all." he said.

Mari nodded her head along with what Leonard had said. "Don't call me that. I'm not your master. I'm just the guy in charge of the guild." Mari turned to Leonard with an apologetic face. "Alright then, I hope Leonard is aright with you." After some time they both have saw the large and very decorative home, of Mr.Watson. "Well, here we are Mari. You go on, I'll simply follow your lead. It's your job after all." Mari nodded again, as she started to walk toward the front door. Knocking on the door, a man bursted out, with luggage in his hands and. "Oh you both must be from the Fairy Tail guild, that was to help with the protection." He said placing the luggage onto the ground. "Yes I'm Mari and this is Leonard. We've come to protect the house while your away." She said pointing toward both herself and Leonard beside her.

Leonard was behind Mari as she knocked on the door. And Mr. Watson emerged from it, about to leave. Mari greeted Mr. Watson and Mr. Watson thanked them for accepting to protect his house. Leonard stepped in to the house and took a look around. It was very big and had a lot of furniture. But despite that, it is still spacious having enough room to move about and run freely. The house had a second floor and a balcony to look down to the first. However, despite it's size the house wasn't confusing at all and you could never get lost in it. He then looked outside through the window. The lot was vast and plain nothing really blocks your line of sight, though there are some elevated areas and pillars that made Leonard smile as they would help him when the robbers will come and face him. He went back to Mari and said "Well I'll check at the roof. See if there's a place for me to camp and guard the outside from there. Will be alright if you stayed inside, or would you rather guard the outside on the ground?"

Mari helped Mr.Watson place his luggage into a nearby cart that just arrived, to take him away on his trip. "Alright then I'm be off and I hope you both do well and good luck." He stated before entering the cart and shutting the door behind him, leaving the house. Mari waved goodbye as he left and noticed that Leonard, had already entered the house before anything. Mari went on ahead and did the same noticing how wonderful the inside of the place looked like it really shows that Mr.Watson was a rich fellow. "Well I'll check at the roof. See if there's a place for me to camp and guard the outside from there. Will be alright if you stayed inside, or would you rather guard the outside on the ground?" Leonard said toward Mari. Mari thought to herself for a bit before answering. "Yah, I think I'll stay outside for now. I'm better at close-quarter combat."

Leonard and Mari had decided to guard the house from the outside. The day was still young and the sun was still high up. Leonard was sitting at the roof looking down below to the lot. He didn't have much to do other than rest his head on the wall and drink from his bottle of coconut wine. After quite some time, he got extremely bored sitting around so he decided to sharpen all of his swords, except for his Blade of the Apocalypse. It took him a number of hours to sharpen each and every one. He almost ran out of whetstones. It was now midday and it is still not the good time for any robber to rob anything. Leonard sighed as the boredom continued. He then looked at Mari and decided to go down and talk to her. "Well we have plenty of time to kill before we worry about any robbers." he said happily "So how about we chat for a while. So... is there anything you might want to say?" he continued.

With Leonard deciding to take the roof, Mari has taken the ground, being she is better at hand to hand combat. Not saying she has some no training in long range, but like to meet her enemy's face to face. While Leonard did his thing, Mari decided to take a walk all around the house, to check if there were any dark and fishy places the bandits, would think of sneaking around them. Mari checked every place she thought they would pop up, but the only real place she saw that they would come through was the front, especially for a frontal assault. "Hmmm, I guess It's better for us in the long run, I just hope that they don't outnumber us." After that she decided to lay out on the front yard, looking up into the sky, to waste her time. Soon after Leonard came down toward Mari. "Well we have plenty of time to kill before we worry about any robbers. So how about we chat for a while. So... is there anything you might want to say?" He said happily. Mari smiled looking up to him. "Yah thanks alot for the help with this, I know I wouldn't have been able to do this job alone." She answered happily. "Umm actually how long have you've been in the guild, its been pondering in my head for a while." She asked.

Leonard sat down near Mari as they talked a bit. "No problem, I'm always glad to help you guys out." he said in reply to Mari in a slouchy manner. Mari then asked him how long he has been in Fairy Tail. Leonard giggled and smiled and replied "Well OK,if you want to know my history with the guild then I will tell you. Let's see... how should I start this... Well, I've been in the guild for as long as I could remember. I remember first stepping in it as a child running away from a desecrated home, and there weren't many people in the guild during those times. I wasn't even able to see the master but they said he was strong. So I strive to become like him. Years passed and that's were I met Daichi and Kyou in the guild. Daichi and I were the best of friends, he was a remarkable ally. Years after, I became a S - Rank mage and became its 'guardian'. I would really say master because I didn't receive the title formally. And because I don't see myself fit to be one. Anyway, as its guardian I've seen people come and go, even to the point that the guild had little to no one in it. But I had hope and little by little I worked with whom I can to get the guild back up. People like Nightken, Marielle, and Mavis, plus Daichi is always there to help the guild out. It's just that he's always away on training. So yeah that's basically how long I've been with the guild. Though I'm not sure if I answered you question right." then Leonard laughed.

Mari sat up straight when she listened to Leonard's story. She haven't heard of some of the names he said, and only heard of a few like NightKen and Mavis, but never Daichi or Marielle. And it sounds that Leonard had a hard time in the past before coming to Fairy Tail, but she tried not to think about it. Other then that she was fascinated, by his story, it sounds like Leonard has gone through alot to get where he is today. And it doesn't sound easy, there were some part's that she didn't understand, like when he said "Guardian", it doesn't ring a bell, probably cause it was something only the Master can know. "Well no not really, but I think you've told me something much more then I asked for so thank you." She said with a smile. "Well I hope you can show me what you got, when the bandits get here. I'd like to see what everyone is talking about."

Leonard smiled at Mari for having satisfied her. Leonard could tell that Mari appreciated all that he had shared "Well I'm glad I had some points taken care off. And thank you for taking time to listen to that.. The day wasn't growing any younger as the sun was about to set. He could feel a bit uneasy for he knew what was to come from the shadows that would arise later. He stood up from where he sat and stored his bottle of coconut wine back to his pack. Before he went back to the top, Mari said something "what everyone is talking about". This puzzled him greatly for he knew Mari was referring to Leonard as the one being talked about. He drooped his pack and ask Mari in a puzzled manner "What is everyone saying about me?" at the same time that he tilted his head and raised a brow.

The sun started to set as they were conversing, with Leonard deciding that it's almost time to get ready for what will be coming. Getting up, as he took his drink, placing it back into his bag, only to stop from hearing that Mari has heard lots of things about him. "What is everyone saying about me?" He asked curiously. Mari looked his way before answering. "I just heard that you were pretty strong, For being our guildmaster and also being one of the Ten Wizard Saints, is all." She said with a smile. "I hope you didn't think it was anything other?" She asked, as she started to get up as well, dusting herself off, as she started to walk back to the house. From the distance she can hear the sounds of bushes and the bark of trees getting scraped, she couldn't tell if it was an animal or something more.

Leonard looked at Marias she stood up, waiting for her answer. "I just heard that you were pretty strong, being one of the Ten Wizard Saints, is all." Mari said. Leonard nodded slightly at Mari's answer. It seems whatever people are saying about him is completely obvious and common. Then Mari continued to speak, "I hope you didn't think it was anything other?", she said. "Well, more or less." Leonard replied happily. Then Leonard also heard the sounds from the distance. If anything, he knew that it was no animal. Because he knew no animal would ever wonder through there as he has seen from the view on the roof. Leonard quickly equipped a sword and threw it at towards the direction where they heard the sounds. The sword struck flesh and a scream was heard, the sword didn't kill whatever Leonard hit. "Be on your guard Mari, they're here. Stay here and I'll go check what the guy has to say." he said.

Mari watched as Leonard, had threw a sword of his and threw it into the forest. As the sword struck, a large scream came after it. "Be on your guard Mari, they're here. Stay here and I'll go check what the guy has to say."
Mari didn't understand what Leonard was going to do exactly. But she did what she was told and stood watch, just in case others tried to attempt something. She started to walk around the house just to make sure that no one would try and attack the back of the house. Once returning to the front, she noticed shadow's starting to emerge from the forest.

Three small and skinny, rough looking bandit's started came out from the Forest. With knifes and blades, in their hands, they looked like they were about to charge and attack. "Watch out Leonard! There might be more coming!" Shouted Mari.

'Monster Dice' :

Leonard went to the are and saw a man hit on his shoulder, nothing lethal. He approached and as he did the man shivered. Oh no! You're the Fairy Tail guild master! So, the guy hired you to protect his house. Either way... don't take us lightly! the bandit said. Leonard looked at him meanly. He took the blade from his shoulder and knocked him out cold with the gauntlet he was wearing. Then Mari warned her about more that were coming. Leonard came out of the forest just about the same time the three bandits did. He used the non-magic greatsword he had on his back and charged at them. And with a simple cleaving strike that crushed the ground as it landed separating the three bandits, with one being knocked out. Now with facing only two, he drew the greatsword back and equipped two swords, slashing the two at the same time. Leonard then turned to Mari "Get these guys rounded up. We better lock them up in a place in case they wake up." he said.

Mari ran over to Leonard to see what he had done. All three bandits were down for the count, as quick as a blink of the eye. "Wow that was fast, I didn't even get a chance to see what you did." Mari stated as she caught up to him. "Get these guys rounded up. We better lock them up in a place in case they wake up." Mari nodded at his suggestion. "Alright then, I tie them up and place them in front of the house, we can keep an eye on them and they might even bring out the rest of them." Mari said. Grabbing one of the bandit's and placing him in front of the house. One after another, she placed them all in the same place. Running inside the house, she looked around and found some rope, running back she tied the three bandit's together tightly so they wouldn't escape.

Leonard watched as Mari tied the three bandits up and placed them in front of the house. Yet as he looked at them, he felt uneasy. As if he had seen anf feared these bandits before. To clear everything up, Leonard approached them and inspected them closely. He found that their armor had some similarities. One in particular was a mark which seemed strangely familiar to Leonard, a part of his,past maybe? Leonard looked away towards the night sky. After a while he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Memories from his childhood began to haunt him and amidst it all was the mark he had seen from the bandits. Realizing that these were the Stormfort bandits Leonard opened his eyes and clutched the hilt of his greatsword on his back tightly anticipating what was to come. Leonard then spoke to Mari while still looking up to the sky. His tone sounding serious and cold, he said "Mari, have you ever been in a war wherein your side is vastly outnumbered? If so, what did you do?"

Mari tied the bandits together tightly with the rope she was given, and finishing it with a tight knot. As she looked around and watched Leonard inspect them, she did the same, but didn't see anything wrong with them or anything that she would seem different. Mari noticed there was a sudden change in Leonard's face but couldn't figure out what. "Mari, have you ever been in a war where in your side is vastly outnumbered? If so, what did you do?" He asked probably out of curiosity but it was still a weird question to give now. Mari was confused at first, but decided to answer it, how she would. "I have never had a party or team greater then two and we've only been outnumbered once. Though he told me to stand my ground and fight, till there was none left. And that's what we did." She said smiling, of thinking of the past. "But why the sudden question?"

Leonard then looked down as he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, still holding on to the greatsword on his back. "I'm glad that's what you did. Because who we're up against will be more than you have handled, I'm sure of it." he said. And after those words, he turned around facing Mari and no longer holding his blade. "What we're up against are Stormfort bandits. Basically their policy is that if you want something, bring an entire army to take it. And that's exactly what they did to my village when I was little. Taking the lives of the people close to me. My friends... my father." he said as he looked down in depression, breathing heavily. After a while he looked up back to Mari "Mari, I know I may be asking too much from you but please. When they come, kill them." he said with eyes full of rage and a tone of seriousness. And as he finished his words, the bushes rustled and three bandit squads came out. In response, Leonard quickly drew the sword from his back and went into a readied stance.

Mari was surprised at the sudden change in Leonard's attitude, as if these bandits meant something more then just normal house robbing bandits. Until Leonard spoke. "I'm glad that's what you did. Because who we're up against will be more than you have handled, I'm sure of it. What we're up against are Stormfort bandits. Basically their policy is that if you want something, bring an entire army to take it. And that's exactly what they did to my village when I was little. Taking the lives of the people close to me. My friends... my father." he said as he looked down in depression, breathing heavily. After a while he looked up back toward Mari. "Mari, I know I may be asking too much from you but please. When they come, kill them." He said. Mari's body started to go ablaze with fire, and engulfed her hands and feet, as she walked up and stood beside Leonard. "Your enemy's are my enemy's and I'll do anything to get rid of that hate they give you. That's what a family is...right." Replied Mari, as she looked outward to the forest, as 11 more bandits started to run out from the trees. Six of them looked like the others who were tied up, small and quick while the other five were more built and had larger swords. Mari charged into the small group that came out.

Mari leaped into the air, drop kicking one of the weak bandits, slamming his face into the ground, and round house kicked another but he was to quick and blocked her leg. She pulls back her leg and punches another weak bandit, dropping him on to his back. With Mari not noticing a normal bandit comes and knees her in the stomach and throws her back toward Leonard.

Leonard was comforted by Mari, and made him smile. Indeed, despite Leonard's loss of a family before, he has a better one now. A family he had made, protected, and guided for years. As the bandits came and Mari made her move, regarding Leonard's enemies as her own, she charged and battled them with great skill. Though one was able to get through and deal considerable damage. Which greatly angered Leonard. The moment Mari was hit, Leonard dashed towards the bandit with a greatsword and sliced him with great speed, making it look like chunks of beef used for Shawarma. He then quickly turned his attention to Mari to tend to her. "Are you alright? Come on, we better get you on your feet before the rest arrives." he said worriedly.With his hand extended out to her. And in that moment, Leonard vowed to protect Mari from the duration of the job. Though he might need her help on confronting the main army with all the bandit's siege weapons. Furthermore, the distance of the the bandits and the village is too near, making going all out not an option. He feared that he will be badly wounded in the end. But that will be alright if it is what it takes to keep Mari safe.

'Damage Dice' :

"Are you alright? Come on, we better get you on your feet before the rest arrives." Leonard said worryingly. "I'm ok, I'm ok. Just got the wind knocked out of me." She said with her hand on her chest, as she started to stand back on her feet. "We have to get rid of the rest before they start outnumber us." Mari said finally catching her breath and tightening her fists and looking toward the rest of the bandits that still stood. "I'm going in!" Shouted Mari charging back toward the last eight remaining bandits, four little ones and four of the more muscular ones.

Mari charged again into the band of bandits, though this time they were more prepared. Mari tried attacking a group of three weak bandits. Mari jumped into the group, punching forward and kicking back, but both bandits blocked the strikes. She pulled bother her fist and leg back, and spun around trying to kick another bandit but he blocked as well. "Ugh." She said under her breath, jumping back with her back toward a more muscular bandit. He tried striking her with his sword, but she ducked and kicked his head downward toward the ground. "At least I got one." She said over his unconscious body.
