    Rise of the Syndicate:

Crescent Island. Apparently it was and still is a very popular resort island among wizards and people all over Earthland. Of course, Ezra had never been there, so he couldn't confirm. But even when he and his companions would arrive there in due time, he didn't think he would have the time to enjoy the resort.

Why would he think such a thing? Well, Crescent Island's lovely, fluffy days were about to come an abrupt end to the hands of The Syndicate, a rising dark guild who've declared war the Magic Council, The King of Fiore, and all Legal Guilds. It was a nasty fight they were picking, seeing as such important bodies were not one to mess with. But still, he didn't underestimate their power. Perhaps they aren't all bark, but have some bite too.

It was early in the evening, and the blazing redhead, Ezra, had been assigned to this task with his fellow guildmates, Hera and Edward. Rather than nervous or stressed about the upcoming events, he was more solemn and upset. The three had been in Cedar Town, since not only did they have the largest port, it was also the cheapest and closest to Crescent Island. That being said, it took around two hours to get there according to the sailors, and the trio would arrive at dark.

While the sailor who offered to take them to said island was loading the cargo, Ezra had been sitting on empty crates with his black boots, forest green cargo pants, black tank top and a grey jacket loosely hanging over it. Quietly, the redhead fiddled with his necklace with a wolf's tooth tightly hanging from it.

"Declare war," my ass... I'd ought to kill'em guys for saying such things. Tch... The redhead thought to himself, in a fit of frustration.

Ezra didn't particularly care for the Magic Council or what they wanted from Fairy Tail, he believed they weren't as big and might as everyone thinks they are. But, perhaps it was because he wasn't as involved in politics, so he couldn't make such an accusation. Ezra sighed to himself and looked back over to the sailors, who were almost ready to depart.

Hera walked through town not really worrying about anything for now; she'd been in Cedar Town with the Aurence boys, and was currently shopping for all kinds of girly things. However, it appeared that Fairy Tail had been requested to go on a Job nearby. Apparently a Dark Guild named the Syndicate; a very strong one too---was threatening to do some pretty bad things to the Magic Council.

Lowering her shades at a shop in Cedar, Hera would put back some of the stuff she saw. Not sexy enough for her tastes as far as bathing suits go. She would be wearing her usual blue tank top; and outfit. She adjusted her rack with a swivel of her shirt and walked off, hands in the pocket of her form fitting black pants as she raised her shades up above her head looking for either of her two guildies. When she couldn't find them, she got frustrated and pouted.

"Only I can lose not only one....but TWO guys." she smiled to herself, popping some bubblicious gum into her mouth and blowing a huge bubble while she walked, popping it with a click and chewing as she went. The sunshine was awesome here, along with the sound of boats and yelling at the docks. People went too and fro as she eventually went down by the docks; before she could really get a good look around she found Ezra sitting on a crate. Walking up to him, and flicking her eyes up and down at his outfit and for; she brushed off any thoughts she had at the moment...to deal with something else.

"Oh so Ed didn't make it here yet....." this would probably disturb Ezra as Edward had been with her last. "I kind of...ditched him to go and buy underwear." she blushed and stared at the ground, arms crossed; shades up on her head resting now. She was ashamed. Who knew what Edward had gotten himself wrapped up in. Lord knows he would find someone to pray for. "Shit...maybe I should go find him." the sound of the water and seagulls nearby, along with the sound of Hera's guilt in the air was all that could be heard until someone nearby walked up.

"Hey we'll be leaving for Crescent Island soon....wait weren't there 3 Fairy Tail mages...where's that holy guy?" the cargo ship captain said as he put a toothpick in his mouth. Causing Hera to look further ashamed and lower her sunglasses; hiding slightly behind Ezra for now.

Once shimmering with a golden hue high above the inhabitants of Earth, the formerly intense summertime sun radiated with an orange-red hue as it began to descend below the horizon as its time in the sky was about to end. People had begun to conclude their daily activities for the was about to end. The night with its own unique charm was about to begin in the port town of Cedar. With hair that reminded a person of shimmering gold or perhaps golden wheat, Edward Von Aurence - a young man in his late teens who was a priest aligned with the Church of Lorelei and a member of the wizard guild, Fairy Tail had found himself in the town tasked with a certain mission. At his side was Celeste - a buxom woman of divine or angelic birth who acted as his guardian spirit, his assistance, and his closest confidant despite their own infighting at times. Edward Von Aurence and Celeste had come to the port town of Cedar with one of their guild-mates, Hera Reyolds - who was an unpredictable yet brilliant woman that ignited a variety of feelings within Edward. The most common feeling she ignited was trepidation and that was why he had decided to come with her instead of with the crimson-haired man with a southern dialect, Ezra Aurence. However, through no fault of his own, Edward had ended up becoming separated from Hera. He had been looking for her a while until he ended up becoming distracted by an elderly woman who needed his assistance across the street. Events lead him to eat at a buffet at the restaurant the elderly lady own with her husband.

Munch. Crunch. Munch. Crunch. Slurp. Crunch. Burp.  "Madame, I offer my sincerest apologies for allowing such a rude sound to leave my mouth," Edward told the elderly lady and the elderly man with a bow of his head down a bit.

"Now. Now. Father Edward, there is no need to be so formal with us. A burp is a sign you are enjoying our food which makes me and my husband quite happy."

"Yeah, we don't get many customers nowadays with all of those new fast food restaurants popping up everywhere. Kiddos, today don't appreciate good old home cooking. There is no heart in those fast food restaurants. There is no soul. There is no love. See, kiddo, the thing that differentiates food from good food is love and time. It is the reason why food made by hand will always taste better than some hocus-pocus creation."

"Come on, honey. You don't need to rant to the Father here. I invited him so he could enjoy a good home cooked meal before doing more work of the Lorelei. You don't see many kids who still believe in old fashion values such as effort and love. A little bit of hardship and they turn to the dark-side."

"Ohohoho, dear. You are doing the exact same thing that I was doing."

For a moment the conversation continued like that between the pair of husband and wife until Edward had finished his meal and thanked them for their hospitality. He still didn't see the pink-haired dragon slayer around anywhere. "There isn't anything on fire at the moment, so that is a good omen," Edward said to himself before he put his hands up together and clapped them together. "Thank you, Lorelei. Please protect us during our journey... and protect the people of Crescent Island from Hera and Ezra. Amen." He uttered his prayer to himself.

The sound of flapping entered his ears which caused Edward to look up. "I looked around above for a bit, Eddy, but I didn't see Hera. So she is probably at the harbor like you thought." Celeste said as she descended next to him. "So shall we go and meet with them?" She asked him. "Yes, but we have to go and pick up a few items that will be necessary for our mission," Edward lifted his finger and pointed to a shop - bakery which still had a light that had numerous baked goods on display. Celeste stared at Edward with an annoyed look her face. Edward ignored it and went on his way into the shop and came back with a bag filled with five boxes.

"You are going to be late, Eddy." Celeste wrapped her arms behind him and took off into the air. She flew with him hanging from her arms to the pier and landed onto the ground. "Hey everyone!" Edward said with a smile as he looked around and saw his two guild-mates. "I brought my sure-fire weapon to assist with the mission too! Taa-daa~" He handed the bag to Celeste and pulled out one of the boxes. Edward opened it up wide and showed a white cake with light blue frosting. On the center of the cake was written: I believe in you - Love Lorelei. "See, with this their hearts will melt and they will be moved to tears. We can all eat cake and be happy~ No need to fight." Edward smiled brightly as he closed the box. "Edward... How are babies made?" Celeste asked him in order to prove a point to the others. "Babies? Babies are made when a man and woman love each other and are blessed by Lorelei. How could you ask me such a silly question, Celeste?" Edward said confidently as Celeste just stared at him for a moment and then the others. "Purity is such a lovely thing isn't it?"

Post by DOPPO 22nd June 2017, 2:57 pm

Ezra had slowly grown more upset as Hera and Edward continued to obscure their location. If anything, they were everywhere but the harbor, leaving Ezra alone to fume to himself.

The hell are those brats? Feel like I'm babysittin'em... The redhead thought to himself before releasing a cloud of frustration in one deep breath. It was nice to have Hera around, however. She always did bring such good energy to any situation. But it seemed that their attitudes clashed when it came to this job, as Ezra treated this very seriously. He wanted to help these people, not because it was the right thing to do, but just because he knew that not everyone was born with these powers. Not everyone could protect themselves like sorcerers could. He thought sorcerers were selfish, to think that this power was to be trivialized. In fact, Fiore happened to be the only nation to put such emphasis on these powers.

His eyes seemed as if a sparked flame was within them, his desire to save these people was greater than Edward or Hera could of imagined. This would be no massacre, by Ezra's name, he swore he would not let their be a day where so many will die by these powers.

But in the midst of that passion, a familiar pink-haired girl popped out of the nothing. Ezra raised his head to the girl and glared, clearly upset with her sudden disappearance. The redhead instantly rose from his seat and scolded her, "'Course he ain't here yet! Can't trust y'all to do nothing, can I?" Ezra barked. On that note, several veins popped on his forehead at the next comment, something about underwear, leaving smoke floating off Ezra's head in anger, "Heaven forbid me from slapping you silly, girly! And for underwear? You have plenty of that!"

As the redhead continued to scold Hera, the sailor who would be giving them a free ride to Crescent Island suddenly spoke. "Hey we'll be leaving for Crescent Island soon....wait weren't there 3 Fairy Tail mages...where's that holy guy?" The husky man queried.

"Er, yeah, he'll be here any minute, sir. I swear, ya know." The redhead affirmed the sailor, though very unsure if Edward would show up. He didn't seem to be familiar with this town and he was too naive for his own good. A cold, nervous sweat covered Ezra's body as he prayed he'd make it in time.

But, in Ezra's luck, Edward would arrive soon after those troubled thoughts. But just as quickly as Edward arrived did Ezra's concern transform into rage. Ezra stomped over to Edward and extended his scolding from Hera to him, like some protective Father. "The hell think you were, boy?!" Ezra roared. He waved his finger, he tapped his foot, and crossed his arms. Every possible body gesture that could describe anger was spot on with Ezra.

However, Ezra's scolding came to an abrupt halt when a cake was suddenly introduced into the scene. The redhead would realize upon his next comment that Edward was far too innocent to truly understand how the battlefield is truly conducted. It was bloody, it was fierce, it was cruel and heartless.

Ezra's cheeks flushed a rosy red before he burst out into laughter, realizing that he was too pure for his own good.  "I'll be damned! Come on boy, girly, we gotta get to this island, ya hear? We ain't got no time to be spending jewels on underwear or... food."

The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia] Empty Re: The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia]

    Post by Haru-senpai 23rd June 2017, 12:36 am

Hera waited for Ezra's response and it didn't disappoint. She was wondering when he would snap, and when he did ir was glorious. Some of the sailors even stopped carrying their crates from the commotion, some even stopped their work as Ezra pretty much snapped on Hera about her decision to ditch Edward for the opportunity to buy underwear. bag of

Turning her back to him with a large sweatdrop over her head comically; she was defiant with her giant bag of underwear; and decided to ignore Ezra's threats and attempts to make her feel bad for such a decision. Goodness what kind of man gets mad at a woman for buying herself underwear....... she thought to herself and herself only as she literally snickered at the thought of Ezra having come with her.

This group of mages, the Syndicate. She'd heard of them before. Supposedly they were a Dark Guild that prided itself on the power to hurt others. Not that they wielded it all the time, but their own Guild specialized in magic that could hurt others rather than help them. Apparently, the Syndicate also had interests in spreading it's name as it was apparently quite effective throughout Fiore, and maybe even a few other damn countries. Amazing to think about when considering that it could've all started as a small gang; before becoming a full on Guild.

For now though, she kept her back to Ezra as the sound of the sea, and on top of that; seagulls were squawking above Cedar Town. She could've sworn she heard one say 'MINE!' for no reason as they passed. The sound of the ocean, and Hera's back to Ezra, face up dignified into the air was the scene as the sailor eventually did ask about the third of them. Almost as if on que, Edward came around the corner literally ten seconds later. He looked like he was carrying something.....oh no, it couldn't have been.

"CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!" Hera let out a girlish high pitched noise and literally threw her bag of panties into the air as they rained on not only the captain of the ship; but Ezra as well. All white ones with red lining that said "BAD GIRL" on them, and also ones that were sheer with bows on them rained a plenty. Thicker but smaller set ones in blue and black were everywhere; as most of the men began to twitch and have nosebleeds. The others would shamelessly move through the docks and pick up random pairs slowly attempting to not be noticed.

Hera on the other hand would run up to Ed and wrap and arm around him, escorting him over the wooden docks now lined with panties and men picking the up; she would then magically pull a fork from nowhere as if ready to eat at all times. Cutting herself a perfect slice, she would offer the cake to the sailors that were giving them a ride. Eventually, she would near Ezra by the ship's walk up plank, as it was still docked. The mighty sails beginning to be unleashed just now even.

"Sorry about the mess....waste of time right?" she said as she tickled Ezra behind the ear playfully. As the men all around her shamelessly scampered on deck with all the panties they had pocketed, Hera would literally stare at the boat in fear. "I didn't say shit until now but......." Hera would literally walk away from the boat and......jump into the water. Surprising the hell out of a few people, as swimming wasn't unheard of. Especially not in Cedar Town; but someone just swimming off the docks?

Hera would float in the water dignified, the salt of the sea soothing her a bit.

"I'm swimmin' the whole way....that thing scares the shit out of me...." she said as she pointed up to the giant boat Ezra and Ed were about to get on. Unlike most slayers, who had motion sickness. Hera had motion fear. She was terrible with it. She would likely put Ed and Ezra in a world of annoyance the whole way. Headlocking them and screaming the entire way, or even sobbing in a way that caused concern; or passing out...fully. The list went on and on. But she was better off swimming.

"MISS.....MISS FAIRY TAIL CHICK....IT'S 70 MILES SWIMMING ARE YOU...ARE YOU CRAZY?" one of the sailors said, a group of them leaning over the ship in awe for a moment pausing their preparations of the ship to gawk at her now swimming off in the water. It was astonishing to them, a 18 year old or so; swimming off of the coast of the ocean. With pink hair nonetheless. A color that most had to dye to achieve; but this one seemed natural; and had all the sailors stunned. As she literally rotated, treading water; Hera would swim..for about thirty seconds; until she turned and raised an arm out of the water. Waving at everyone on board.

"Tell Ezra his fly is unzipped!" she yelled from out in the water, to her. Only the sound of the water could be heard. "And also tell Edward that I do naughty things to him while he's sleeping!" she said as she then turned and just....began swimming out into the Calm Sea. Literally...but she was moving at the speed of a dolphin.

"Hello, Father Edward and Ezra....of Fairy Tail? Wow...amazing, my daughter loves you guys....ahem, anyway." one of the sailors actually came to deliver Hera's message. "Well when she was yelling she said to say...that your fly was undone....and that she also messes around with you at night while you sleep...." the guy said to Ezra and then Ed one at a time. "Ha...HAHAHAHAHA....uh.....shit sorry....wait sorry." the guy said in fear of the much taller Ezra, and also in fear of Edward who knew was also a mage. "....And I'm gone." with that the sailor would help the unfurl the sails as the ship set sail.

Hera could be seen about three hundred feet ahead, swimming at an incredible pace as the ship eventually would begin to catch up as she swam in a relaxed manner rather than with her beyond human capabilities for now.

Ezra.....I hope he doesn't think I'm weird for swimming all this way.... what she knew was that with Grandine's magic she could cure herself of her Motion Fear. But she was SO afraid that she didn't even trust that, and most of the time didn't even bother trying to use Troia. Oh NO what will Edward think!!! she thought to herself as her wet hair fell all around her. Stopping her swim for only a moment, she would look up at the massive ship sailing alongside her swim and then....take off at incredible speeds; embarrassed. Creating a huge shockwave from her swimming so fast that even splashed the deck she took off so fast in the water at the thought of her guildmates wondering why she was swimming 70 miles instead of riding on the boat.

The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia] Empty Re: The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia]

Post by Mura Kensho 23rd June 2017, 11:36 am

Back at the guild, there was a keen harmony in the atmosphere. It wasn’t expected though, and people quickly began asking themselves about the silence when Mura simply enjoyed it. You could find him in the kitchen, taking a quick nap on one of the shelves. During this summer, he’d been sleeping more than he should; about 11 hours a day could pass away with him sleeping. The kitchen wasn’t used by anyone just yet, so he felt that this smooth edge did its job as a restroom for the shaman, while his eyes closed in and dreamt of herbs and stuff. Not everyone dared sleep beneath the temperatures; Kyuken and Zirconis were at the guild hall and discussing about the request that four of their guildmates were given, hence their absence:

“-Just because that they have the balls to declare war doesn’t mean that everyone should go beserk!”
“You don’t know what war is, my scaled friend..?”
“Yes, I do! I’m pretty sure I started off a couple myself back in the days..!”
“W-Well, if you truly experienced such thing, then you’d understand me! I know that those guys are huge powerhouses, but everything could go wrong! It’s war that we’re talking about!”
“H-Hey, if we brought Mura into this, then he’d obviously decline! You know how he hates war, didn’t you see him at Navrick!?”
“Y-Yeah, but come on! The reason that he didn’t look forward to that was the overall situation! This is different!”
“War is always the same, you human. Just face it, he won’t-“

Mura couldn’t sleep during all this blabbering, so he walked towards the exit and overheard the conversation. Apparently, his guildmates had taken out to bring down this enemy that declared war on… apparently the entire magic world. Spying over at Kyuken and Zirconis and how they discussed, he did understand them both. Since the Navrick events, he felt like a faint warrior… he didn’t have the pride that he used to possess back in his days at Midi. To think that he willingly joined that battle kept haunting him, especially since he saw enough of conflicts back at his home country. But Ezra and Hera… Edward… Natalia… they accepted the request. It was obviously to prevent the enemy from fulfilling their plans, and Mura thought the things over, but… in the end, he couldn’t find any excuse to stay home; despite thatthey already accepted the request, the shaman felt that he needed to get out of the house and get some fresh air. It’d been a while since he took overseas, anyways.

He went back to the kitchen and grabbed Harusame, while the two ghosts still hadn’t finished their talking. When he stepped out, the samurai ghost and the dragon ghost both looked over at him with mildly surprised faces. “Why don’t we join them? I need some fresh air…” he commented as the shaman walked outside, quickly followed by the spirit pair. When they all got outside, he turned towards them and said: “You know… you know me pretty well, both of you.” With that said, he turned around again and approached the destination, leaving the two ghosts confused for a brief moment. Then the journey started off, and according to what he remembered or overheard, the mission was going to be executed in an island called Crescent, so he quickly went to grab a map over the seas around Earthland. That was back at his own house where he also readied up for the mission. His regular shirt and clothes were switched out by his black and orange Toad Hermit gi. His headphones were put away, and when things were ready, he left the house and instantly soared upwards, catching the attentions of a few people around the street that called ‘Hey, isn’t that the boy who lives alone?’ and ‘D-Don’t bump into any birds again, Mura!’

The air was a blessing. It cooled down his body as he soared across the clouds over the ocean, heading after the small gang of his guildmates. … Do they need help, though..?, he began asking himself, I mean, they got Ezra with them. That means that Hera can’t screw things up without him watching over… and they are four. Perhaps if I’ll just be… His anxious thoughts ended when he passed a small rock in the middle of the ocean, definitely not big enough to be the island. It caught his attention, though, but that wasn’t what he looked for. Now that he looked down, the ocean was filled with small dots of islands, including one that moved… when his eyes narrowed onto that one, it turned out to be a vehicle. “-Wait, is that Hera’s magic power?” he asked himself and the two ghosts as they all dove through the clouds, aiming at the location right above the crazy girl who decided to swim all the way to the island. Mura couldn’t but keep soaring above her with silence and ease, admiring her enthusiasm and persistence, but also feeling lucky to be here. Now that he saw her in that situation, he broke the spying and silence by lifting her up from the waters and letting her soar while he held her arms over his. “Is it the motion thing again?” he gently asked her while the air began drying her wet clothes.

The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia] Empty Re: The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia]

Post by DOPPO 25th June 2017, 7:46 pm

Everything seemed to have been going well, the sailors were ready, and everyone was here and prepared to head on over to Crescent Island for their important duty.

Ezra, of course, continued to scold Hera and Edward as the two admired the cake. If anything, it only fueled the redhead's rage. The two young wizards clearly jumped at any opportunity they could to indulge in a bit of luxury shopping.

As white panties of all sorts of styles and designed rained down from the large jaws of Hera's shopping back, submerging Ezra in an ocean of underwear. At first, Ezra was too upset to really notice just what had transpired, but soon realizing what new objects had been covering him, his furious red reduced to a fluffy, pink blush, leaving him on a fine line between embarrassment and frustration. He peered down at his outfit, now covered in panties, and groped them awkwardly.

    Soft.... hm? What's this?

He turned one pair of panties over to discover the words "BAD GIRL" lining the panties, returning him into a fit of rage. He crushed the soft cloth between his fingers, nearly tearing them apart.

But before Ezra could get his hands on her, it seemed she had already departed from the group. To Ezra's surprise, she hadn't boarded the boat, but instead crashed into the watery jaws that was the ocean.

Puzzled by her behavior, the redhead stood in confusion trying to figure out just why she had done it. She was a quirky girl, for sure, but if there was a boat, why not ride it? Ezra couldn't come up with a reason before he forced himself onward.

It seemed that things were ready to get going upon a quick inspection, the sailor was on his ship, and the cargo was loaded, safe and secure. But before Ezra could board the ship, he was interrupted by stunning words of a bystanding sailor.

"Hello, Father Edward and Ezra....of Fairy Tail? Wow...amazing, my daughter loves you guys....ahem, anyway. Well when she was yelling she said to say...that your fly was undone....and that she also messes around with you at night while you sleep...." The sailor affirmed. After jolly laughter, said sailor quickly hushed up and left the two men to themselves after realizing the size difference between him and the fuming redhead.

Ezra, who tapped his foot and crossed his arms in frustration, huffed. "Damn sailors! Ought to give'em booze and then, and only then will they shut 'ther traps!" Ezra jeered. Ezra would then roughly grab Edward by his shirt and drag him on board.
    "C'mon boy! Let's go!"

The redhead sat himself and the fellow blond down onto two crates on the ship, leaning over the edge to peer into the watery abyss. His wolf-tooth necklace hanged over the waters, secure, but feeling as if it'd slip off at any given second.

"Doesn't get any easier, huh?" Ezra began, "All these wizards coming from messed up pasts. Lovers killed, blood on 'ther hands, families torn apart.
And here I am, coming from a loving household. Ma, Pa, little kiddos and e'erything. Ain't it crazy?
One moment 'yer sitting by the lake, eating some food, and next minute 'yer here, saving hundreds, if not thousands of people from this evil force."
The redhead joked. It was an insane feeling, for sure. As he stared into the waters, he felt this rush of calmness. Peace, even. Despite the battlefield awaiting him, he felt as if he'd have no regrets.

The ripples of the far-away Hera quietly made contact with the ship, Ezra lifting his head to peer into the near distance, the pink figure swimming and all. Ezra smiled, Ain't that somethin? Ha, never ceases to 'maze me.

But it seemed as if nothing ever seemed to stop interrupting times like these when another familiar scent entered the scene. Ezra wiggled his nose and peered over to the dock, realizing just who it was. "Mura?" Ezra crowed in surprise. "That you, boy?"

The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia] Empty Re: The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia]

    Post by Haru-senpai 26th June 2017, 12:51 am

Hera enjoyed the swim for the most part, eventually she felt the water take control as her body pretty much swam on it's own at this point. Breathing in and out, and knowing she had almost 100 miles to go; she went underwater and began to swim like a dolphin or even a fish. A fire mage who love water, well. She felt safe here...like others were safe when she was in water or near it. She also loved summertime and heat naturally....of course; she did prefer fire to water as a hole. But water gave her a certain piece a certain something that sometimes she lost in the "heat" of it all. She smiled a bit as she came up, the water even rocking her swim forward a bit as she now threw her arms one after the other into the waves; her feet kicking behind her.

Now, the voices drowned out. It was just her, and her thoughts and the sound of the water. Dad.....I never got to make you proud....I'm so sorry. her determined face was shown as she continued to swim, and swim, and kick onward. I promise.......I will, I know you still want me to be great.....I swear I will be....I know it! I'll make everyone around me great.....I just feel so bad that you never got to see me become shit........ she thought somberly as she swam.

The determination in her face was broken when she was suddenly lifted out of the water like a giant bird snatched her. In panic she reached up sharply to feel what it was or throw it...but it was Mura, his familiarity in both scent and looks nearly instant after years together. Holding onto him as he soared like Superman from the comic books in Rose Garden in triangle formation with Zirconis' green see throught ghost and Kyuken's silver one glittering in the sun. As she pretty much just kicked her legs up into his arms and relaxed like a chair now; putting her arms around his neck as they flew for security.

The wind actually was howling they were moving so fast; as Hera put her hand out and grabbed a hold of some air magically, pulling wind itself into her mouth every now and then as they flew. Chewing and swallowing it even. With a mouthful of wind; she looked over at Mura as they flew. Gulping it down again, she would nod to him as they flew.

"Those things scare the shit outta me....." Hera said to him as they flew. She looked over his shoulder and realized she couldn't even see Cedar anymore, let alone the ship Ezra and Edward were on. "Hey Mura...I gotta plan." she smiled at him as they flew. "So when we get there....the Syndicate has taken over Crescent Island as their new base of operation for their Dark Guild. They'll know we're Fairy Tail of course when they take one look at our guild crests naturally.....but." with a mischievous smirk; she grinned at him. "The Syndicate knows we're a famous guild...but also an Independent Guild....so they might not attack at the first sight of us."

She explained that, Fairy Tail mages also had a reputation for magical secrets; and they could easily right now trick them into thinking they were there to give them one. To assist in their invasion of Fiore and toppling the mighty Magic Council. The one who had put them through so much shit to even get the property rights back to their own Guild Hall. It would be easy as cake to convince them that they wanted to get back at them.

"When we land, let's tell em we're from Fairy Tail....an tell em we're there to see if they're worth helping." she smiled a bit. "Then naturally when they freak out at two famous mages like Mura Kensho and Hera Reyold showing up; they'll run and get the bosses.....then we pick a fight and give the Syndicate a piece of your katana RIGHT UP THE ASS!" she yelled as they soared through a huge collection of clouds.

When they got out of the clouds; Hera was eating one but below them Crescent Island blossomed onto the scene. A lush island with an amusement park running through it. Creepily enough no Roller Coasters were operating and there were no screams of happiness, no people lining the beaches. Just...nothing. The Syndicate really had taken this place over. "Thanks for the lift....the air up here, the sound of the wind......it's lovely...but you should try the water sometimes too!" with a big hug; putting her high school senior sized boobs on his neck for a moment as she hugged him---she would let go into a perfect gymnast fall; opening her arms an then folding into a perfect needle dive.

With a splash she hit the water like a missile---curving up and coming to the surface as she waved Mura down from the skies. She would swim up to the empty beach and walk up on it. There weren't even any beach stands out....it was creepy as hell. When Mura landed; she would not to him with her hands on her hips; pulling out her sunglasses out of her now wet black Yoga pants; and her blue tank top now hugging her wet hips. But amazingly....she began to actually steam since her blood was hot enough to melt steel if she was ever cut and it dripped on something it would feel like you were touching an iron. Her blood could actually melt through wood and set it on fire. The consequences of living in a cave with a fire breathing dragon for 4 years.

As she wrang out her long pink hair and put her shades on her head; for awhile she just stood next to Mura and inspected the island. Eventually a guy spotted them and waved. He was a taller man, but he looked somewhat young; maybe around Ezra's age. He had on stylish clothes; and didn't really seem to be afraid of them he didn't run for help just strolled up with his hands in his pockets.

"Hoi there, sailors with no boat!" he laughed as his Syndicate guild crest was seen on his tongue now. "Wait....what no way! You guys!" Mura's blue Fairy Tail mark above his eyebrow and then Hera's dark red one on her shoulder were shown as he smiled even wider. "What Fairy Tail holy shit...heard all about you guys." he lifted his own sunglasses in this summer heat and walked closer. "Well guess you guys heard bout our invasion plans huh...." he looked at them and shrugged.

"You guys just here to check us out or you here to deal an underhanded blow to the Magic Council by helpin us out with some of that legendary Fairy Tail intel gathering" he smirked.

"Lord knows we don't fuckin love those guys.....but we can't bash em in the open. That was the deal....." she grinned at the guy as she spoke again. "But what they don't know won't hurt em. Or in this case...it's gonna fuck em in the ass." as soon as she said that the guy BUSTED out laughing.

"You guys are famous you know that? Mura...and Hera. You there...rumor has it you can walk through walls and control ghosts....everyone knows what this one does." he said as he pointed a thumb over to Hera who shot him a look. When he turned back to her, he lowered his sunglasses and then introduced himself. "I'm Doflamingo. Guild Master of the Syndicate....my 8 brothers and I are from the Donquixote family...but you guys can just call us the Dons." he smiled back at them. This guy was extremely powerful; as in. As strong as her. And it unnerved the shit out of her. He was beyond S-Class in power; and his 8 brothers, the Don's were all said to be B-Class and above. Five of them even being considere S-Class in power by the magic council's wanted list.

"Well what kind of magic do you use?" as Hera said this, she would get a response. Doflamingo would extend a hand behind him, and look over at a group of palm trees. Instantly a bunch of white lines; like sharp slashes happened instantly would cut them into literal fucking swiss cheese.

"Well, it's like...I can make direct lines of magic....and like some kind of a connection or something to the mana itself. I call it String Magic...anything my strings touch I can manipulate. I can even make a zombie like that....held together with raw magic. Or tie someone up for a long time...or just shred em into blood and bones like a cheese grater! I can even.....heal wounds. These strings really can do anything." he said as he stare at one of his hands briefly. The tall blonde had on a fur coat with no damn shirt on underneath...but it was the fur coat she didn't get in the middle of summer.

"Come on, I'll take ya to the Dons...they're kinda like aces we've made this whole Island our new Guild Hall...it's still an amusement park heh, of course we don't use the park...that would attract all kinda attention and unwanted kids on speed boats tryna party here." he laughed again. But Hera knew he was smarter than he looked. He wasn't sure if he could take them both by himself, so he was bringing them to the Dons to make it seem like he trusted them. But also to get a leg up on them as well. 5 S-Class mages would be damn near impossible even for her maybe, not to mention the other two and Doflamingo himself. How are we going to pull this off....one on one they don't stand a chance but...Doflamingo is.... she wondered if Ezra would try to take him on. What a clash that would be. But if he hurt Ezra......as she walked next to him she literally thought about killing him for a split second only because of the thought of him hurting the werewolf. Even though she tried not to kill her opponents ever.

"So this invasion....besides the Don's how big is the Syndicate?" Hera asked.

"About a thousand of us." he stated. "Here on this island. It didn't stand a chance when we got here." as he said that, Hera's face literally made a 'what the hell' expression. He then explained further. "Hahaha there are only 10 mages in the Guild though, the rest are still members but not like us. There's my brothers and me and a few others." as he said this; they came to a HUGE pavilion outdoor area with mercenaries in all different kinds of gear everywhere. All with Syndicate guild marks. It literally looked like the amusement park had been converted into a camp now. When they reached a central square, everything got quiet as Doflamingo would keep walking up ahead as several VERY different people walked out.

8 people of all different shapes and sizes, surrounded Mura and Hera in a big circle. These were the dons. Their magic power levels were off the charts and nearing her own.

"Why bring them here......" one of them said. "What do you want Fairy Tail....." he then raised his wrist an pointed his arm at them and fired a spinning chamber on his black armor that unleashed a lacrima blast of fire that hit the ground next to them in a warning shot. It exploded like a grenade. This one looked like a man completely covered in black cybernetic armor with oval lens eyes. Some kind of assassin most likely. He was one of the ones below S-Class though she could feel it. "Well hello to you too." she said back as she waved some of the dust away from his shot in the air. Doflamingo then began arguing with him about how to treat guests as the others guys voice sounded muffled like through armor.

She gave Mura a look that said Looks like it's working.....if we can stall long enough for the others to get here.... then they could probably take this whole place down. If she did use her magic.........she wondered how badly Crescent Island would fare. Not to mention some of these guys were reported to have magic just as destructive as hers. As if that were possible.

The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia] Empty Re: The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia]

Post by Mura Kensho 26th June 2017, 11:42 am

It was just before Hera would have attacked the shaman for surprising her so much. Luckily, her eyes met up with his before her hands did, in which he was saved from any possible injury. And while Kyuken and Zirconis soared above him, Mura tried to look for where both Ezra, Edward and the others were supposed to be. Given by the ecosystem, they would most likely have taken a boat, and if Mura remembered correctly, most of those whom he ever encountered that despised transport… which was none. Okay, he was getting blank at it now, but Hera quickly mentioned her fear of what ship that Mura was looking for. Perhaps she had some kind of pre-traumatic experience with that vehicle, but honestly, he couldn’t really see her being scared of pretty much anything. Despite all his thoughts, he stayed silent for now as they approached Crescent Island.

“… A plan?” Mura asked back to Hera as she had something in mind. While they crossed the clouds that were frequently being eaten up by Hera as if they were delicacies, her smile hid a rather mischievous intention. Whatever plan that she thought of would most likely have seemed cheeky as hell for her, in which he was curious to know more. She told him that the Syndicate, the gang that he’d heard of back at the guild hall, had taken over the entire island in a siege and made it their headquarters. He also heard that they were a Dark Guild according to Hera, which would mean that their membership contained potential wizards. That would also point out, as she continued explaining, that they had knowledge of other guilds in Fiore, and most likely of their own, rowdy guild. They would definitely recognize both the Fire Dragon Slayer from Fairy Tail, Hera, as well as Midian Swordsman of Souls, Mura. Besides, they were both Aces of Fairy Tail, so screw anonymity. However, Hera concluded due to their status as Independent that they would hopefully not attack them head-on, because that would be the case if a legal guild sent directly by the Magic Council arrived. Maybe they would decide to associate or even go as far as believe that they can have a truce with the Independent guild, in which they would have the element of surprise at their hands. Maybe their guild was known to possess many things that could benefit the dark guild if their plans were assured.

“I’m starting to get a little anxious if there would be some among them… who would act differently,” he mumbled. She suggested that they should tell where they were from, and that perhaps they would ‘freak out’ due to their reputation. While that sounded reasonable too, he could never tell what their reaction would be; although, having control over the entire island, they should feel secure enough to not have their guards up at 100%. That would be an advantage as well, and then they would bring their bosses and. What in Midi’s barbered ass did she just say? “…” Mura went mute for a moment there, “… I don’t want to dirty Harusame that much…” His voice was too low and shy, and it quickly made itself background for the voice of the wind passing them as his words soared away, his eyes blank of confusion. He stayed like that until they made it to Crescent Island; a large, xenomorph piece of land on top of the ocean was visible from their location. He too noticed the roller coaster, but it was frozen. Nobody was present on the island itself. That worried the shaman a little, but his thoughts switched as Hera thanked him for the ride. Well, first now, he noticed that she switched position from beneath him to laying on his back like on a surfboard. “… I still don’t get that you wanted to swim all the way, though,” he replied to her. Kyuken did make it closer to the shaman as they descended, but Hera hugged him from behind, an act that caused her massive chest to press on his neck and back of his head. It made him blush a lot, because this was practically the first time in a while that she hugged him; yes, he remembered back when Heero had just brought her with him to the guild for the first time, but that was the last time that he ever embraced her lovely like now… while the ghost was RAGING. “A-Aaargh…” Kyuken moaned out, “… I wish that I could hug her.” “She might then just hug you to death,” Zirconis came replying as he passed the blue ghost. “Would be worth it,” Kyuken replied too fast…

She had dove down like a missile and straight to the water where she would soon reach the sand. She waved from her location as he made it to her and landed his wooden shoes on the surface. He quickly nodded back to her and looked over at the sea, hoping that Ezra and the others would make it here soon. “… It’s sad for this pretty island to be taken by those folks-“ he spoke up while his head turned towards Hera again, only to watch a cloud of steam surrounding her body, “…???” His head tilted a little by the view, but not much time passed until a random person arrived. He came up pretty calm and relaxed, in which Mura could put two and two together; this one was one of them. He mistook them for sailors at first, but a moment after, he knew who they were. It made Mura smile a little. “Hehe… I appear to have an actual reputation. Nice.” Hera went on by replying to the man’s assumptions, telling that they practically didn’t have anything to do with the Magic Council. It appeared to assure the male, in which he revealed himself as Doflamingo; a rather strange name because of the hidden animal within it. So he’s the Guildmaster of Syndicate, Mura thought.

His magic appeared to have connections to Mura’s, not by the spiritual and ghostly aspect, but by the aspect of binding things together. However, his ‘strings’ sounded to do any job out there as he demonstrated by changing Hera’s clothes. “O-Oh crap…” he mumbled by the assumption that he was about to change her clothes; you know, many *MEN* things could happen, and that chance was only higher around the Fire Dragoness. As he saw the fur coat that she suddenly wore, he was mildly surprised by Don’s magic. And thus, he began showing them over to wherever he was heading for, while Mura found it problematic; the idea of a thousand members of the Syndicate sounded like an unreal number. The fact that only 10 of them used magic, though, calmed him a little, but then again, a thousand people on this island could turn against them at any moment. They were on quite the corner here, and that would only become clearer as they made it to the pavilion. It was gigantic, and Mura could eye at least a hundred members here only. Some of them asked about their purpose here, and one of them even surprised him by shooting towards the floor before their very feet, just to scare them. “…” Mura remained silent, but he could see in Hera’s eyes that she found the plan working.

Kyuken and Zirconis weren’t visible for the mercenaries, so they had their usual conversation out in the blue air, while both Mura and Hera could hear them:

    “So… war, huh?”
“They could most likely invade the castle at Crocus with so many people…”
“… Try and look for any weak points. Mura and Hera needs to know what to do if things get hasty.”
“Alright, alright… Mura, use my sight and try and track down all mages in this area.”

Mura did so, and while Don and his gang were keeping an eye on them, his vision switched to Kyuken’s as he tracked around. There were only a few mages here, including Don and the assassin.

The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia] Empty Re: The Rise of Darkness [Job - Hera/Edward/Ezra/Natalia]

Post by DOPPO 27th June 2017, 6:59 pm

To Ezra's surprise, Mura's familiar scent would go as quickly as it came. No doubt, that was Mura for sure. But why exactly was he here? Clearly not making a trip to Crescent Island for a relaxing getaway in their famous hot springs, but perhaps to help deal with The Syndicate? There could be many reasons to justify Mura's sudden arrival, but most of them led back to The Syndicate's threat. At the thought, Ezra smiled to himself.
Couldn't resist the urge to help, huh? That's my boy.

Meanwhile, while Hera and Mura darted off into the distant sea, Edward and Ezra were left on the boat, now beginning to take sail. "Here we go boys, Crescent Island ahead!" The sailor cajoled as the ship would sway to and fro before the wind would catch it's sail and begin to rush towards the island, eventually picking up speed and moving like a fish in the water.

Ezra crossed his arms and stared off into the sea as the two would travel, silent in his own thoughts. The redhead would sigh and turn over to his blond companion, Edward, and initiate conversation. "Ever been to Crescent Island? Hear it's a mighty fine place for a wedded couple to vacation to, heh. Lots of luxurious spas 'n all. Ain't my cup of tea, really. This man's ideal getaway is a trip to the woods for some old-fashioned camping!" Ezra jested, he was never that kind of guy. He was never pampered like most townfolk, and grew up in a heavily forested area with little industrialization. The most advance thing he grew up with is probably swords. That being said, the industrialized world wasn't something foreign to him, he grew up next to Magnolia Town. But since his village was so isolated and shut-out, the only things he ever really new about the world beyond the East Forest were from the older men and women in the village, Merchants who came and went from all over Fiore, and magazines and items brought by said merchants.

"Must be good to be a wizard, huh? The sailor suddenly insisted. "Life must be pretty darn easy, haha!"

Ezra smiled and cackled along with the sailor before it descended into a small chuckle, "Well, I'd say it'd be pretty darn easy myself! But I'm a man of traditional hardship and labor. I'd say most wizards nowadays would be nothing without 'ther magics 'n all. If they removed magic out of the picture, any and all events or conversations that involved magic, who would they be? Most lives nowadays seemed to be taken from the hands of magic, heh."

"That's the truth, ha!" The sailor added.

"I'd like to have a strength beyond magic, ya know? To have an identity beyond magic. And in the times I do resort to this gift, I will always use it to defend justice and peace.
There ain't no other way to use it."
Ezra concluded with a smile, and truthfully, this is what he believed. The redhead had been born and raised cursed. His entire village did. It granted them powers like no magic has ever done before. For one of the first times, men were supermen without magic being involved. Superhuman smell, healing, hearing, strength, and all kinds of elements without it involving magic. Of course, there was a greater price to pay. Men and women cursed by this being would die inevitably, at any time. They never died of old age, no one ever lived longed enough for that justification. Ezra too, would die someday. Probably at a young age. but in the time he had, he only wanted to heal, not destroy.

It truly was a morbid thing, and it was never something he told people about. He had become a mage for this reason, and he'd either defend his morals and what was right or he'd die trying. Once these thoughts came across his mind, who became even more determined to take down these terrorists. Not for the Magic Council, but for the people, for himself.

"I'll become a stand-up mage one day, heh. Defend the people 'n what is right or die 'tryin." Ezra insisted.

"Oh yeah? You seem like a stand-up mage already, good sir! Haven't heard wizards have a take on magic like that in... forever! Haha!"

For the remainder of the trip it remained silent. But now the time for action was here. As the tip of the ship bumped into the soil of Crescent Island, Ezra hopped off the side and stretched, smelling the air. "'Aight now! We'll be 'splittin ways here, Mister Sailor. I suggest ya drop 'er stuff off quick and scram back to Cedar Town, ain't no place to be at them moment." Ezra exclaimed and pointed out to see to direct him before turning back over to Edward, "Come on now, boy! Hera and Mura went this way, it smells just like'em."
