Before departing the Infinity Hydra Guild Hall for Hargeon Town, Reyn packed his bag, said his goodbyes, and grabbed a drink for the road. Waving goodbye to the barkeep of the guild, Reyn opens the giant guild hall doors and heads for Hargeon.

Days later, Reyn makes it to the port where he payed for his voyage across the water towards Hargeon Town. While on the wavy seas, Reyn practiced controlling the winds, changing the directions, the density of the air, and how hard the wind blew.

A day later, Reyn could see the port town over the horizon. Hours after seeing Hargeon on the horizon, Reyn arrived in Hargeon Town, said his goodbyes to the sailors, and made his way to the job location.

After wandering around town and asking residents for directions, Reyn arrived at the job agency. Walking in the building, he noticed a small waiting room area and spotted the person who posted the job.

"You think you got what it takes to get rid of these bandits?", the boss said. "Yes, I believe I can rid those docks of bandits for you, no sweat", Reyn added. Acknowledging Reyn's resolve, the boss held up his arm, waiting for his client to shake his hand. Almost immediately, Reyn raised his hand to meet the boss' and they both shook hands. Leaving the small building, the boss quietly added, "Good luck kid.."

A few minutes later and Reyn was already nearing the docks where the bandits were located. Scanning the area, he did not see anything out of the ordinary, except for the slight glimmer of Jewels sprawled out across the ground. "They seem to be leading somewhere, might as well follow them." Reyn added. The trail led him right into the last warehouse on the docks. Realizing that the bandits are most likely in this particular building, he let out a huge sigh and confidently walked into the warehouse.

Walking into the warehouse that was near the port of Hargeon, he immediately noticed the large group of bandits that had stolen the jewels and were planning to leave the town. "Hey, what do you think you're doing?", Reyn yelled at the band of bandits. "What?!?! There should be no way that you found us!", the bandits retorted. Reyn added, Well, if you learned to keep your stolen Jewels in your bags, then nobody would find you.."

Pulling his hands out of his pockets, Reyn readied for battle. The bandits showed their biggest grins towards Reyn and began to pull out their weapons. "Well, I guess there's no other way to deal with this...Let's go boys!", Reyn yelled as he charged towards the bandits.

Preparing his magic for the onslaught that momentarily awaited him, he began to think of the most effective way to take care of these bad guys.

Seeing the group of 5 bandits charge towards him, he decides to take action. "Hmmmmm....what to do..what to do..", Reyn thought to himself. Then it hit him,"Duh..that's kinda obvious", Reyn added.

Preparing to cast his spell on his enemies, he focused on the group of bandits running towards him and let his spell fly. "F-1 Updraft!!", Reyn yelled as the winds went towards the bandits. The winds that surrounded the bandits quickly rose the ceiling, lifting the group of bandits into the air.

"What?! I can't get down!", the bandits yelled as they were flailing throughout the air. Reyn noticed that they were trying everything they could to get down and protect their stolen Jewels, but nothing seemed to work.

While admiring the 5 new moving chandeliers, Reyn prepared to cast his next spell. This next plan would require a little more precision than his last one, but he was ready to knock them down a notch.

While preparing his next plan of action, the bandits also discovered a way around the Updraft. The warehouse that they were in had steel beams that supported the roof, leading towards the ground. The bandits slowly made their way towards the beams, and before they made it there, Reyn noticed.

"Whoa there! Where do you think you guys are going? I haven't even started the fun yet!", Reyn yelled at the flailing bandits. He figured he had ought to have a little fun with these guys, so he commenced "Operation: Target Practice". All of a sudden, Reyn cast his spell, "F-1 Whirlwind!", Reyn yelled. With this spell, Reyn shot consecutive blasts of concentrated air from his palms. Reyn focused on the farthest one to the left and let two air blasts fly. "No!!", the bandit yelled as the air blasts hit him in the chest and caused him to go unconscious. The other bandits noticed their incapacitated ally and decided to quickly make their way to the steel beams.

"Don't leave! I'm not done yet!", Reyn screamed as he let two more air blasts fly into the next floating bandit, and like the last one, he was hit and then knocked out. Without knowing it, Reyn realized that two of the five bandits were different. They seemed more energetic than the ones that were just barely moving towards the beams. "I might as well get them out of the way", Reyn thought. With the remaining 6 shots of his spell, he aimed at the two quick bandits, and fired.

The first quick bandit was hit in the leg, the arm and the face, causing him to go unconscious. The next one was hit in the chest, the foot, and the last one seemed to miss, but swung back around and nailed him in the back of the head. Only one bandit remained, but Reyn was slowly becoming fatigued.

"One down, one to go", Reyn whispered to himself. The lone bandit clumsily hovered down towards the ground and stumbled around for a few minutes. Tired of seeing the bandit stumble around, Reyn decided to stop this mess and knock him out. Reyn readied the spell and cast it. "F-1 Whirlwind! Again...", Reyn added. He charged the shots and fired at the bandit, knocking him on the ground and making him unconscious.

After seeing the fight, the rest of the bandits, not wanting to get into fights, dropped their bags and surrendered. They threw the bags over towards Reyn and quickly ran off. "Well, that turned out different than what I thought.", Reyn sighed.

Walking back towards the job agency, he stopped at a local restaurant to eat and kill time. Sitting down, he ordered some coffee and waited for the waitress to come back.

"You okay?", asked a voice from afar. Reyn lifted his head and saw the boss.

Reyn cleared his throat and spoke, "Yeah, I'm good. What are you doing here?, Reyn asked. The boss gave him a strange look and then opened his mouth to talk. "What? A man can't get something to eat?", answered the boss. Reyn thought about it for a minute and realized how dumb his question really was. The boss sat down, and waited for the waitress to come back.

"So..Did you give up or fail?", asked the boss harshly. Reyn shook his head and pulled out the stolen and Jewels and set them on the table. "Oh, well I should've at least expected you to succeed. Sorry for assuming that you didn't complete the job", the boss added. Reyn thought of a less rude way of responding to his statement. "Nah, it's okay. People usually think I cannot do things or that I fail, so I don't blame you for acting that way", Reyn replied.

After spending some time at the restaurant talking to the boss and eating the food he ordered, he paid the bill, tipped the waitress, and made his way back to the boss' building. "Wait up!", called the voice that was slowly catching up to him. Reyn turned around and realized that it was the boss again, wanting to talk. He slowed down and waited for the boss to catch up.

Out of the breath, the boss spoke, Whew....You...you sure do walk fast.." Without saying a word Reyn held out his hand and shook it a little, signaling that he may or may not actually walk that fast. After a few minutes of walking, the boss finally spoke up. "So..those bandits didn't give you a hard time did they?", the boss asked. Reyn shook his head and continued to make his way to the building. "Not much of a talker eh?", the boss slowly asked. Finally speaking up, Reyn said, No, I don't usually speak up much. I don't know why, it's just how I am."

A few minutes later they could see the boss' building in the distance as they slowly made their way there.

Reyn and the boss finally made it back to the agency, after the long walk from the restaurant. They made their way into the boss' office and sat down after the long journey. "Whew...forgot that it was that long of a walk...huh", the boss added wheezily. Reyn grabbed the remaining stolen Jewels from his bag and laid them on the boss' desk. "That should be all of them..", Reyn said, breaking the silence. "Alrighty then. Here's your reward for taking down those scumbags", the boss replied as he handed Reyn the 1000 Jewels. Reyn nodded his head and slowly backed up towards the door. "Hey, I just wanna say thanks for doing this for me. I really owe you one", the boss calmly added. Reyn shook his head and said, Nah, you don't owe me. You already paid me didn't you?", Reyn added.

Satisfied with Reyn's response, the boss gave him a thumbs up, and in response, Reyn gave the boss a thumbs up too. He said his goodbyes, left the building, and made his way to the docks to board the ship back to Terra Ignis.
