Strengths:

- Is attached to its user, Lavia, making it so it cannot be used or taken away from the requip pet for long
Weaknesses:
- May appear at awkward moments if it feels to ignored or lonely
- May be mistaken for an evil weapon
- If Nocturne and Lavia argue, it may become disobedient
- Stands out in the daytime due to its shadowy nature

Name: Fear of the Dark
Rank: C (Scales up to B)
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 (4 at B)
Description: The user swipes the scythe at one enemy, causing it to appear to go through them even if it didn’t. If it hits it causes its rank in damage and causes the beings eyesight to fail so they only see darkness, momentarily distracting them if their will or focus isn’t high enough. Once the user steadies their mind, the illusion fades. The secondary effect only works on those of equal or lower rank.
Strengths:
- Momentarily distract the target until they steady their minds or break out of the spell through willpower
- A good attack spell
Weaknesses:
- May be mistaken for an evil spell
- For most mages the spell's effect are easily broken since they naturally have a lot of willpower
- People with naturally steady or methodological minds easily break out of the illusion
- If an ally is accidentally hit with this spell they are affected by the illusion as well

Name: Sweeping Shadows

Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 (4 at B, 5 at A)
Description: The weapon master swipes the shadowy scythe around them in a circle, causing a large dark and red wave to sweep out. This wave damages the ones the wielder and weapon sees as their enemies for half of its current rank in damage. At C rank the radius for this attack is 60 meters(speed 45 meters per second), at B it is 100 meters (speed 75 meters per second), and at A 150 meters(speed 112.5 meters per second).
Strengths:
- A good multitarget attack
- Spares any allies from being harmed by the sweep
- May knock over weaker enemies
Weaknesses:
- Any allies in range to be hit by the actual scythe will take damage
- Very obvious and hard to hide
- May be mistaken for an evil attack
- Has a longer cooldown
