Out of combat, Aino is a rather kind and reserved person. Preferring to keep themselves to themselves, and hardly feeling the need to bother others in general. Often, she would be with someone to keep her company, more often than not her friends, as strangers scare the living daylights out of her. There are a few good things and a few bad things about her like everyone else, her logic being one of them. Being a female in the family who didn’t have that much authority over stuff, she would always prefer to read books or go exploring, as exploring was and still is one of her favourite past times. It works well for her, so that was all that mattered to the young lady. Her squeamish and shy behaviour may make her look like a different sort of person though, she is worried about meeting new people, and is always quite the anxious one. It’s why she always prefers to stay with friends, as they know her best and take care of her rather well. She loves them all equally and can be quite dependent on them if it involves going to a place involving strangers. Hence, her bravery is quite a rare charm that she hardly uses.
Despite her nature, Aino is a relatively good fighter. Preferring to use her staff more than anything so she can keep a good distance from her targets. This is where her kindness will probably overtake though, often placing herself in front of her friends when they are defenceless and wanting herself to take all the pain instead of them. While some may see it as being a hero, Aino mainly sees it as being a friend, for she would assume they would do the same to her if she was defenceless and wasn’t able to do anything else. She was used to doing that anyway when she was back at her home place, and because of that, it is a natural reaction for her. Another thing that Aino usually uses is her logic, analyzing what she can use and use it to turn the tides of battle. This may make her look like a manipulative person, but in reality, she would never manipulate anyone in her circle. That, along with her staff, is her main form of battle, even poking someone aggressively in a repeating manner is often better than nothing for the young lady.
When it comes to being a leader or a follower, Aino is mainly a follower, but that is mainly because Aino cannot handle leadership. She hasn’t been able to since her father was always a bit controlling towards her, and even if Aino had people to help her thin out her burdens, she was always in the side of shame for him. It never helped when Aino tried helping to lead either, as her suggestions were always shot down. This is also another reason why she is the reserved sort of person. Other than that, she will follow what her friends say.
