Hunting The Hunter [Arz/Nora] [Job]

Zeno would walk across the rocky mountains that seemed to be never ending as he and his companion would be travelling to an ancient place, named the Ancient Ruins. Him and his furry companion had been sent by their Tanuki Guildmaster to complete a job with the girl that Zeno seemed to have feelings for. It was odd that this specific redhead would actually have feelings for someone, a surprise to all his friends really. Even Tito didn't expect it, but it was there. So as they traveled the pesky mountains and rocky roads that never seemed to end, the sun would make them fight through it as it was so hot that even the mountains were hot enough to melt into tiny pieces of rock. 

"Zeno..Why did you accept this job? It's too hot!" Tito would complain as suddenly a thought came to his mind, causing a mischievous grin to spread across the blue furred exceed. "Actually, I know exactly why you took this job..because of your lover, Nora!" Tito would tease as Zeno would blush and react by pulling his cheeks so hard that they stretched nearly wider than Zeno's stomach, and that's big considering all the food that Zeno's bottomless pit can take which people call a stomach.

It had been hours in the blazing sun until Zeno and his furry companion would make it to the Ancient Ruins, though it didn't look that cool, it seemed to just be a passage way made from a bunch of rocks, it must've led somewhere to the treasure, right? After all, it is their job to find treasure before some evil douche bag does. But there was one thing for certain, these ruins are definitely ancient, there were markings all through the passage way, though Zeno and Tito both decided not to venture there until Nora arrives.

"We should wait for Nora!" Zeno would yell in the passage way to the ancient ruins which would make a loud echo, clear for Tito to hear. Tito would listen and they both would wait outside the passage way to the ancient ruins until Nora arrived. 

Even at the name Nora, Zeno would blush.

Rocky mountains and jagged cliffs were all that awaited someone who wished to ascertain a path to the ruins which Nora Kuroki and Zeno Hageshi were seeking, the latter most likely scaling the mountain cliffs at the moment which brought a chuckle to the lips of Nora. She didn't mean to tease, but she had taken the easier of two routes - riding down the rail line until a station a few miles from the ruins. While it was true that she would have to do some hiking which she had prepared for, it would be sufficiently lass than that of Zeno and Tito had taken on. She blushed as she thought of Zeno in the temperature-controlled rail cabin and sipped on peach iced tea. Knowing the love of her life, he wouldn't be willing to fight on an empty stomach and so she would take some extra time in arriving to prepare something for him.What to make though? While true that Zeno would eat anything, she was at least somewhat professional about her cooking. There was a few secret recipes she hadn't prepared for him, so Nora decided on one of those.

As the railway came to an end at the station, she stood from her seat and gently made her way out to the station before the railway continued on to it's next stop across Earthland. Looking up, Nora noticed it was still morning, good. She would arrive slightly after him, though it was worth it. Taking her time, Nora made her way down the rocky road and towards the ruins. She would eventually park herself just outside of earshot of the ruins, and use the cooking ware she had brought to fry up a sweet dish that her lover would enjoy. Finally, she walked down and towards the entrance of the ruins proper. A warm grin was offered to Zeno as she walked to him with a light step and slipped a taiyaki into his mouth, and not just a fried powdered confection but one filled with cherry jam. As she did so, she slipped in tightly for an embrace with a grin. "So glad to finally be joined again, my love. I bet the trek left you famished, here have a taste, and there's more where that came from. I am so glad that you didn't die of heat exhaustion, I would just die if I came this far just to see that. Oh, I didn't forget you Tito!" She exclaimed gleefully in a playful tone as she fed Tito some donut holes once the loving couple has broken their embrace.

They would wait for the girl, sitting quiet as a mouse for the first time as Zeno had been quite nervous to meet his 'love'. He would oddly begin fidgeting, to that of a point which made Tito fidget, like a chain reaction. They were both mixed of emotions, and Zeno could not get the beautiful girl out of his head. It was as if she infected him with a virus that made him think of her all the time. He could never forget the scent of her, the way she treated him, and most of all the way she loved him. Though he is quite nervous to say the big L word, it was clear Nora had no problem saying it to him, which made him feel good. It's not that he didn't love her back, it's just he gets a little tongue-tied when it comes to Nora.

Suddenly, a beautiful figure would appear not too far away, and they knew it was her, by her long silver hair. "Nor-" Zeno would attempt to greet the beautiful girl before a fish-like taiyaki was stuffed into his mouth, and the best part, it was jam-filled, she knew him well. Before he could even compliment the girls cooking, she would embrace him tightly. This would make Zeno blush profusely, but everything stopped for him, it was like the whole world stopped and was all focused on to her, She's so b-beautiful.... Zeno thought as he blushed even more profusely until she broke the embrace and began to feed Tito, letting Zeno get a breath of air.

"U-Uhh..we should probably go into the ruins now. Right?" Zeno would ask, attempting to hide his dark red face from Nora and his cheeky companion, Tito, who would definitely tease him about this. So as they walked into the creepy ruins which had strange markings on the walls, they would also see many spider webs and sometimes spiders dangling from them. This would normally freak out Zeno a little, but he was too busy holding his face away from Nora to see. The caves would be clearly old, because of the markings and other strange things that were in there way as they ventured deeper. Little did they know, there was a dark aura approaching, approximately three of them. Hopefully they would notice by the time they ambushed them.

The love which was shared by Zeno and Nora transcended past any emotion she had ever felt before, it made her whole and nourished her spirit. It had in fact saved her when she was at her weakest emotionally - in a time she had lost her parents and felt like leaving the mortal coil it was his earnest self that brought her back from that brink. Somehow, she had gone and lost her way and had gone astray, before finding the blinding light that was Zeno and that was what had started them on way that they had traversed emotionally, to become a couple like they were now. When she was sad, his presence would take away all the pain, and eventually they began courting. She was glad to see the love of her life, and always lit up the room when they were together. Now then, since the boys had been fed, it was about time to get to busy with the job at hand. She sensed the three ahead before they had even entered the ruins. Spiders usually freaked Nora out beyond control, but today she had a plan, Reaching up, Nora brushed her torch along the roof as they passed along ahead - burning spider and web before they could get close to either Arz or Nora. "I know that neither of us really like spiders, so let me go ahead and clear them away first, Zeno." She said with a smile.

"Knight to Z4!" she pronounced as the mark of the knight formed on his back while the buff was cast upon him. He would find himself 30% faster and with 30% increased base melee damage, after being affected by the buff spell. Afterwards, she brought both hands low as a spring of magic began to take shape from residual energy in the area.
Looking forward, Nora grasped into the midst of air with both hands, and the hilt of King began to form within her hands. The energy shaping together to form King from the tip of the blade and up. The sword is a long and slender sword wrapped with blue silk at the hilt with a rounded silver pommel - black and gold 'King' crown sitting atop. The guard of the sword is filled with an ornate feathered design over a glowing sapphire gem, and leads to the sword's thin blade that tapers at a straight point.

Nora bound up and in an instant, vanished as she moved in a hooking maneuver. She appeared at the other side, bringing King into the treasure hunter's chest. She brought the sword back around with a flick of her wrist and cut into his shoulder, then back around and piercing somewhat through his leather. The hunter would feel himself slow tremendously, which prompted Nora to come behind and knock him down with a bash from the guard of King. That was one down, the other two approached from her sides as she lept back and avoided the first while she brought her pommel into the face of the second, before kicking back and sledging him down with the pommel. It was about the same concussive impact as being hit by a warhammer. She wasn't exactly super combative, but the extra strength provided her by oblivion's might was certainly useful. Nora had one other thing going for her, she was SUPER hyper when she wanted to be - and this was one such time. As the last of the novice treasure hunters came in, she reached out and honked his nose playfully before feinting away from his cut and cutting his shoulder.

"Well then, took care of those rookies! Nice to get a little breather before the main event, even if my magic isn't really geared for being offensive. It's okay though, I can make due with my lineage and with King." She said as she arrived back at the side of Zeno. She was interested to see if he was still blushing or not. She knew Tito would give Zeno a hard time should the little exceed learn of his partner's blushing face. Whatever challenges lay ahead, though, the two would need to fight them together as a team and so Nora needed Zeno to stop being so shy around her - it was cute when they could afford it, but in battle was one of those times it couldn't really be afforded.
