Job: Final Countdown!
Rank: S
Player Requirements: At least 5 S-Ranked Wizards
Job Requirements: Thread must be at least 50 posts long; at least 450 words per post. At least 10 posts per tower.
Job Description:
In time before time, back when magic was pure and had unlimited potential, there lived 4 evil, twisted wizards. One is a master of spell control and absorption, another is a master of alchemy and matter manipulation, one excelled in constructing magical defensive structures, and finally, one who possessed great destructive magic. These four devised a twisted experiment: how to destroy the entire world, not by their hands, but by the hands of those who would try to stop them destroying the world.
Thus, they built the Five Towers of Babel: sky-high spiral towers capable of destroying everything using the planet's very own magical energy. Each tower is protected by magic-infused stones and multiple magical barriers on the outside. Despite being invulnerable on the outside, its sole weakness is found inside the tower; a small, pyramid-shaped device located at the ceiling of the tower. Each tower also has four special ethereal lacrima (situated outside at the top of the tower) that monitors any spell cast within the tower. When a B-Rank or higher spell is cast within the tower's walls, one lacrima will activate. Once the fourth lacrima is activated, the tower will release a devastating wave (500-meter in diameter) that will drain and absorb all life and magic around the tower. Once all 20 lacrimas have been activated, nothing can stop the towers from destroying the planet.
However, upon completion, the fate of the four wizards became unknown, and the Towers mysteriously vanished. It was rumored that each wizard bound their souls to one Tower in order to "observe the experiment". No one dared to search for the Towers, fearing that they might accidentally activate them.
But now, the Towers have reappeared, as if they were intentionally revealed to the world. And worse, 12 of the 20 lacrimas are already activated. Did someone activate them intentionally?
The mission: enter each Tower and destroy its corresponding pyramid without activating all 20 lacrimas.
The Tower of Mahad: 2 of 4 lacrimas activated, located in a mountain region near Era
The Tower of Paradox: 2 of 4 lacrimas activated, located in Divide Island
The Tower of Mesei: 2 of 4 lacrimas activated, located in Shadow Island
The Tower of Endymion: 3 of 4 lacrimas activated, located in a mountain region near Magnolia Town
The Tower of Exodia: 3 of 4 lacrimas activated, located in Phoenix Mountains
Enemies: Patrolling inside each Tower are 200 A-Rank animated marionettes and 3 S-Rank elite marionettes, all capable of different kinds of Requip Magic. Normal marionettes require a single A rank to bring dow. Elite marionettes require 3 S rank spells to bring down. Any magic these marionettes cast does not activate an ethereal lacrima.
Weak dice: 25 Marionettes
Normal dice: 50 Marionettes
Strong dice: 100 marionettes
Boss dice: 3 Elite marionettes
Reward: 100,000 Jewels each (You've saved all of Fiore! Not to mention the entire Planet!)
