    History/Story
History: Chili was abducted from a different reality and then replaced the son of a small farm family who lived somewhere between Oaktown and Crocus. He was two when they had his little sister, Vess.  When he turned six he began learning how to help out around the farm.  Sadly Chili lost his family in a cult following guild attack at the age of seven. They came in a magical fog that surrounded the village. Their parents had hidden them down below when the screams of terror and anguish outside had started. His mom had looked out the window, gasped in fear, called for their Father and before Chili could ask what was going on, his sister and he were picked up and placed within the floorboards. His parents were burned alive in their house, while he escaped with his five-year-old little sister through a hidden entrance to underneath the house. They made it about twenty yards into the woods, that were behind their house before they were caught. Chili was slashed across the face by a dagger thrown at a downward angle from a horse, giving him a scar. He was then snatched up taken to the center of town. Where he saw them burning buildings, taking prisoners, and piling the dead bodies before burning or melting them into nothing, leaving no trace they were there. Putting him in a cage three carts over from his adopted families sister. All he was able to do was listen to her and others cry as she was carted off, headed east and his cart headed west. Seven hours traveling westwards, over hills, cross a river or two, and through forests like some twisted travel song. Chili's escort had made some distance before they were ambushed by his uncle Ruz and some of his hunter friends. They freed everyone. Sadly by the time they made it back to the village, there was no way to track his sister, her convoy was too far gone. Making his way through his destroyed village to what remained of his house, Chili accidentally burnt his hand on the doorknob of his home's door. He doesn't really know why he tried the door, there were no real standing walls left. He just did. Standing atop the ash of what was his family memories he made a silent vow to himself as the memory of his house as the crackling of the fire and echoes of the screams played back in his head to one day become intelligent and powerful enough to move mountains if they stood against him or those he thought of as friends. After that Ruz adopted Chili and took him to a small village somewhere out of the way of Oak Town. HIs uncle had adventured all over the world and had been everywhere from Bosco to Enca. The young Chili became obsessed with learning as much as he could about everything he could. HIs uncle decided to temper his flame for vengeance with knowledge, calm, and focus on his task rather than his rage. He messed up a great deal though at the beginning. Even if his uncle saw he had a talent for combat, thinking ahead, analyzing his surroundings, putting his mind to learning something believing enough practice would be out or enhance raw talent and elemental magic. However, the boy may have had a seventh-grade intellect at the age of nine. He learned quickly and under his uncle's tutelage within the next six-year period. His uncle would take him to the Oak-Temple library the read as much as he could about different cultures, monsters, legends/myths, different types of magic, spells, combat tactics, however, by the third year, Chili, was banned from Oak Town on the account he had caused more than one mishap resulting in the damage of multiple owners' properties and multiple hospitalizations. Some damages occurred due to him trying out his stealth tactics by getting into one or more fights that ended with him using a spell only to have it explode and damage a good area around him. His uncle explained after some scientific and magical scans that Chili's physiology was different from that of anything he'd seen. His very matter was unstable and transforming with the amount of magical energy he seemed to be over amassing from the energy around him which caused his spells to mix and overload it seemed to be holding itself together than it was trying to rip itself apart.

How he was alive his uncle never knew. Figuring a way to use hand signs that charged a certain elements energy into his form Chili was from then on able to cast the four beginning signs his uncle taught him sadly he was only able to teach him four before disappearing. From then on Chili was stuck in the small village, with his uncle bringing him books to study. From then on Chili kept to a morning routine. Wake up early, write down what you had to work on for the day, make your bed, work out, eat breakfast, then get to finding work, help his uncle with the experiments he went about, or studying for a while. Another thing was that his uncle put him on a serious learning and studying routine at the house which gave him more time than a six-hour trip to the library. Constantly bringing books back from the Oak Temple's Library for him to study and learn than taking off to do what his uncle would always tell his was "An important task" or going to work in his lab on magic/tech mixed related experiments that he would have Chili help him with. That part had been fun actually maybe a little disturbing at times and over the boundaries, however, Chili ignored it as long as his uncle helped him he didn't really care. He had to learn how to cook for himself and clean as he went. Taught, Chili, how to keep his space clean and neat though.  One day after doing some local neighborhood jobs, finding someones missing cat for a hundred jewels, killing a raccoon for five, and watching some lady's pet for twenty jewels an hour. He came home to find his uncle just had returned from his latest trek into Oak Town's Library to get new books for Chili to start studying. Only to find the door to his uncle's house was ajar. Inside he found that the place was a mess, obvious signs of a struggle. Exploring further he found a weird letter from his uncle which read "Chili, there are things I have found out about you that I wish I could share with you, however, I have very limited time to write this letter. The ones who came to take you and failed all those years ago have come for you again luckily you were out of the house. If you find this run, don't stop moving, if someone offers you help in finding answers no matter what accept it, deal with the consequences that come with the path you have chosen, move forward, make allies, and if you find out who there are.....kill them all." On the back was a few weird simples that looked like a mix of ancient writings he'd studied his books at Oak Town. Pocketing the letter he searched but found no signs of his uncle just signs of a weird type of ice magic that was a weird purple and green color. Grabbing a gray single strap pack he threw his books about his magic types in his pack along with some jewels, clothes, maps, and some food before leaving to travel off around Fiore for the next four years which went by fast. After leaving the village he avoided Oak-town and became lost even with the map he had. Lavanitir Port City that's where he ended up lost and clueless as to what to do, he only had the bare minimum in power even if he was a very skilled fighter  for the age of thirteen though he was tall and fit for his age that's what rigorous sessions of exercise, work, along with his mostly healthy diet besides the occasional restaurant stop when he was unable to make a meal. He wandered into a bar thinking it was a place to eat and ended up starting a fight which ended in him beating the ever living stuffing out of five officers. He was about to be caught when someone grabbed him and dragged him from the place and onto a ship. Apparently, he had captured the attention of a pirate recruiter and was now "offered" the job of their newest pirate or walk the plank. He may have almost sunk the ship trying to resist until he had been shut down by the ship's captain, the half-demon wind magic using, Araemifae.

Who proceeded to offer him to be her apprentice or die. Well, he accepted begrudgingly not really have much choice with his current power and her wind sharpened broadsword at his throat. From that day he spent the next two and a half years stealthily stealing priceless treasures, robbing the ship, destroying those who sought to pursue them and discovering long lost goldmines of ancient artifacts. By fifteen he was more than accustomed to killing his time as a pirate definitely hard at first when he had been rather resistant to the idea of killing people for wealth then continuing to kill those who sought justice.  Thought after the first four months he had put aside his care when Araemifae offered to help him find out more about the religion that the writings came from, her self-having discovered old ruins which held rare items and hieroglyphic styled pictures and letters depicting twelve deities taking human form before laying waste to the world. The sun would drown, the seas would be showering with blood, a destructive disease like the curse that would decimate the world and then they would reforming it in their image using there more intense powers. They matched some of the symbols on the back of his letter. She trained him to blend in, be social, manipulative prowess to use and be aware of some proper etiquette, a lot of other teen related materials when she found his uncle was always out sometimes with some old flame running amuck somewhere or adventuring in some hole. For a pirate, she definitely knew some things that he didn't expect a pirate would know even if she was a little bit more intense when it came to making sure he was a better pirate than a gentleman. He becomes more knowledgeable of the group he was after in the time following that. By the time that the two year period was up  he was stronger, a lot more cunning, definitely with a bloodthirsty undertone if you crossed him, and an attitude that was one of general nonchalant, realism, confidence, honesty and only lying when having to lie since people believe those who tell the truth more than those who lie which for a pirate made harbor visit interesting when he didn't feel the need to lie to people about his current "employment" choosing to deal with anything that happened afterwards with a happy attitude since that what he decided he would do. How his time aboard was ended was when the vessel "The Black Maiden" was sunk by a guardian sea creature that destroyed it after they had explored some ruins pertaining to the deities or more as fake ones that are. Chili had been crushed underneath a cannon and sank with the ship, the last thing he remembered was the creature's roar and its horrid stench. Waking up on dreary Chili found that his arm and leg were missing though he was nearly beyond freaked out after he fell asleep and awoke an hour later to find them completely healed his bodies abilities taking effect with the sudden stress on his life. The matter rapidly expanding forming new cells and regrow his limps and enhancing his cells to make his bones able to take some stronger hits, enhanced senses, and a healing factor. After floating adrift for seven days he washed ashore the coast of Fiore by chance. His pack on his back, all his belonging soaked then dried after his seven-day floating session. After that Chili doesn't care what he eats when he gets hungry he eats something and with his now slightly enhance metabolism needs a little bit more energy. He became a medium sized monster hunter for a while after that deciding to rely on his bargaining and hunting skills to do some good due to his light guild from his time as a nameless scoundrel of the Blood Demon, Captain Araemifae now he was just Chili Thompson small time monster hunter for hire. After a while, he went from just hunting monster to accepting regular mage requests at actual boards rather than wander from place to place when signs of a creature disturbing the peace appeared. He was back to his old self it seemed his focus and calmness no longer edged with a killer attitude twenty-four seven now he was only like that when fully serious about something. That's what he's doing nowadays at the age of seventeen with the mental mindset of a mad scientific realistic peaceful til provoked growth toward improvement wizard/pirate. If you can find him he's probably investigating into strange happenings involving a cult of unknown origins while taking a job here and there for some jewels.
