(Happens before Finding Runes)
Grema was currently headed toward a town called The Ace of Spades to do an errand for her guild as payment for her lodgings. She was supposed to deliver a letter to the Guild Sabertooth, got caught up in a sandstorm. Currently, the magitech mage was sulking in a conveniently located cave while waiting for the weather to die down. “Looks like I’m in here for the night. Great. Just great.” The woman grumbles to herself, looking outside at the raging sand.
It was at that time Grema notices that the cave ran deeper than she had previously thought. She travels down the tunnel and becomes wary at what appears to be fire light up ahead. The mage sneaks toward it but only see’s a large inscription with two torches lighted beside it. After checking for traps the scientist approaches the inscribed wall, almost in awe, and begins to read.
“The pirate Gold Roger huh…” Grema mumbles to herself. Supposedly this man was a historically famous thief, and was said to have even stolen from the gods themselves. The tablet also said that this as his tomb and great treasures lied within it. “Niiiiiice.” The mage grins to herself, then notices too late that on the sand floor there were footprints other than hers, many of them.
