Heaven’s Raining Miracles [Private- Sol]

A world of shimmering stars was what she saw, a blanket of darkness behind them- illuminating them in the best way possible. She stood quietly, arms crossed beneath her bust in a lazy fashion, shimmering blue orbs staring up at the gorgeous show above her. Light hues would follow a star that seemed to fall from the heavens, flashing over the sky is a flurrying of silvers and breath-taking blues. The grip she held on herself tightened slightly, a sense of cold pricking at whatever bare skin it could touch. She hadn’t been wearing anything heavy when coming here, lost in a daze of sorts. Alex was much to excited to see such a world of beauty that she had heard of from countless others, whether is was simply small snippets, a full conversation, or just a whisper of words- it all made her itch to see such a place.

Curling slender fingers over the edge of her sleeve, the feeling of the woven fabric rubbing against her skin giving her a slight bit of warmth. It was just a pale colored sweater, the sleeves a bit longer than they should’ve been. Something like this gave her a sense of warmth though, an itchy fabric that seems like it was woven by that of an old woman who had nothing left to do with her life but make those who she loved happy with simple items of warming cloth. The corner of her lips curled upward in that of a smile, one hands reaching up to brush back a dark strand of violet hair behind her ear. With a quiet step forward, Alex continued to star happily at the horizon, her gaze following stars that seemed as if the heavens were raining. She wanted to see more, so much more and that’s what she’d do as soon as her expected guest was to arrive.

Alex actually had no idea who was arriving, she only knew that she’d bump into them at some point within the next little bit as self-conceited as that sounded but she expected it nonetheless and would wait patiently until she had to leave again. As the female continued to walk down the path she was one, observing everything that seemed laid out before her, she could faintly hear the sound of her feet hitting the ground beneath her. It sounded muted yet gave her a sense of serenity. She didn’t have very many days where she was alone like this and she enjoyed it you could say.

After a few moments of slow paced walking, a sigh danced on her lips, her chest raising and lowering with the action. Slowly, the curtains drew closed over her shinning hues and she stood there quietly and as the seconds rolled by, the corners of her plump lips curled upward in that of a smirk yet soft as a smile. Oh what am I waiting for?

It had only been a short while before the sound of footsteps approaching her own, silent form had Alex lifting her head in the direction of the one who had wandered towards her. A small smile flickered over her lips, head titling subtly towards the side. This wasn’t much a surprise to her, she had waited patiently and she had gotten what she had expected. I wasn’t expecting anyone else to be here this is quite a surprise. Her smile softened, arms repositioning themselves so one hung loosely at her side, the opposite hand gently gripping the sleeve that clung to her arm. Alex continued to listen quietly and she was almost pleased that they hadn’t been one of those who rambled. Have you been here before? It was almost an expected question, yet it was one the woman was pleased to answer.

"No.. I haven’t been here before, I’ve only heard of it from those around me.” Her voice was quiet, soft, and seemed to float with the breeze. Alex was still seemingly struck with awe from the scenery around her, attention flittering off towards the sky of stars above them. She took a moment to stare before her gaze redirected towards the man who had approached her earlier, a subtle shimmer in her hues- “It’s a beautiful place isn’t it..? Do you like it here?” They were questions that held no real meaning, but she enjoyed asking them. Whether it was because the resonating sound of those she spoke to pleased her or because she simply enjoyed questions, or even if it’s something else- the answer is unknown. As she waited quietly for his response, the hand of the arm that hung at her side reached up, fingers soon gripping the thin fabric of her sweater that clung to her opposite arm. It was an action that Alex constantly did, almost as if to fill the empty space in her gentle grasp.

Another fleeting moment passed and her brilliant hues widened with shock, “Who might you be again?"

Alex had subtly given him a nod of her head as he spoke, agreeing with his words. She felt that no verbal speech was needed to respond and quietly awaited his answering over her latest question. A soft smile flittered over her lips, gaze warm- “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Sol~” She wasn’t much surprised when her slender hand was gripped and a fairly common gesture was made. The only response she could make was a small smirk that fled as soon as it arrived, it wasn’t much time for that now was it?
The feminine creature gave a small laugh, brushing away strands of hair that strayed from behind her ear and lips soon parting subtly as she spoke, “I’m Alex- Alex Devereaux, rhymes no?” It was a small, yet humorous glitch in her name- one that her family that had been completely oblivious to for years until she had made a joke about it. Her lips had curled into a humorous smile, canines barely peaking from their fleshy cover.

Seconds ticked by as they stood there, the sky above them an active mass of sharp silvers and blurry blues. She was entry captivated with it and it was so obvious to the point that it could’ve been written above her head in bright, disgustingly bold lettering. Her smile soon widened, head tilting backwards as she traced the heavens with a awe filled gaze. The stars that shone to the point that their color seemed as if it could never be matched, the mixed black of the sky that seemed to be littered with countless blue’s and purples gave her a sudden chill, her arms soon moving to hug herself. But she never moved. She continued to stare as if she was a child again. Oh how she could take a picture but even a picture could never compare to this life-chaning beauty.

Alex would probably never hear or catch the fact that someone would’ve of spoken to her, a single line of words dusting from her lips as she stared on. “I feel like the skies at home will now seem dull and dim after seeing this foreign night blanket above..” She had always spoken in an odd way, whether it be a habit or purely.. Natural. She never focused on it, Alex loved how she spoke- it fell warm, it felt normal yet it always gave her a sense of forbidden cold. And forbidden is always intriguing.. Her eyes narrowed softly, shimmering hues of blue flashed in the direction of her companion, a welcoming smile now painting her lips- “Would you like to talk a walk with me?"
