    Job Info:

Fairy Tail. A guild that seemed to be around as long as Earthland was, and seemed just as resilient as Earthland, too. The guild was one shrouded in both light and mystery, wizards from all over gathering together to empower themselves or others in their quest for what seemed to be justice, but many would find that many members in the guild would stray away from that one path, even the previous Guildmaster, Kanix Laspor. Although to Ezra, her face was unknown, her crimes were not. She was undoubtedly known to be a suspect if not the culprit who took part in the massacre of Magnolia Town and disappeared afterwards. The infamous Lucie, who was accused of murder and holding the title of Coming Storm, a title only given to the the worst of them. Nothing like the Eleven Sinners, of course, but they were certainly heading down that path. She too, vanished after the guild allegedly gave her prying eyes. Her face was unknown, but her crimes were not. It was these strayed souls that branded the once glorious guild, Fairy Tail, as an enemy of the Magic Council. And like Lucie and Kanix, Fairy Tail… vanished.

When Ezra thought about the tragedies of betrayal, deceit, and heartbreak, who could barely keep himself together. He wanted to protect this guild. He wanted to protect everyone in it. But holding an A-class title would serve him nothing he if he did act with his power. He was one of the most determined, stubborn men in the guild who was both bark and bite. He wanted to prove useful and loyal to his Guildmaster, and wanted to establish a bond of trust between him and his guildmates.

It was just in the early morning, about a quarter past seven. But despite the hour, the sun was rising and a shroud of warm hues covered the atmosphere. All sorts of blues, oranges and yellows painted it refreshingly. In an open field just in front of the shroud of trees part of the East Forest. It seemed to be the only place of Magnolia that remained untouched, unharmed, and magnificent. It wa tranquille and vast, perfect for a tussles and whatnot. But the forest and field is what he had called home for the last week or so, as he had no problem with living about in nature. But, alas, the inactivity had been eating away at Ezra’s mind and he could no longer remain idle. With the slow, progressive reconstruction of Magnolia Town, there was nothing more to do than to build. But, Ezra was not only a citizen, but a wizard, and he had tasks he must heed to elsewhere in Fiore. And thus, the blazing redhead had taken on an abundance of jobs recently, and he had prepared himself mentally and physically to binge the for the next month or so. He, however, feared that because of his inability to notify his guild, his extensive absence would birth paranoia and great distress. But at the same time, he reckoned he wasn’t so important that someone would lose their head over his absence.

Today, his first location was Rose Garden. He had remembered going there once, and the bitter taste of champagne and alcohol seemed to remain on his tongue since his trip to one of their bars. He feared that he would stray away and find himself in such a place again. Tasted like some of the finest alcohol but he had little tolerance.

That aside, on his way to the train station of Magnolia Town, he realized that it too, had been destroyed and reduced to dust and stone. If the morning grogginess was not enough, he had accepted the fact that he would have to walk to the next town over, get on their train and only then could he resume his quest. But walking, running, or sprinting from town to town required the maximum stamina (physically and mentally) of the person, as he had not anticipated such a struggle. But, him being fit, it was relatively easy to get to the next town, just not quick and timely. He felt a small moment of graciousness because he had headed out so early. Time waits for no one, so best exploit it.

Eventually, Ezra did make it to the train station in the nearest town (which happened to be Hargeon) and boarded seconds before it departed.

With heavy breaths, Ezra slunk back into his seat in a cold sweat. He peered out the window, exhausted with his efforts as his eyes grazed upon the glistening waters of Hargeon Town. It was never really his kind of town, he wasn’t a fisherman nor a water person, and this town seemed to be the embodiment of all those things. The redhead sighed and fiddled with his fingers in his pockets until he grabbed hold of something.

A lingering memory resurfaced upon physical contact, and as he shuffled through his pocket to retrieve a crumbled up paper, he realized that this was the job request he had snatched earlier. With nothing better to do, he reread the text:

”To all whom it may concern,

Our peaceful town, Rose Garden, is threatened by a great evil. Lately, suspicious characters have been walking into my bar, always asking questions about how many people lived in this town, and if there were any wizards. Each time, I answered the as accurately as I could but didn’t realize the pattern. Each time they asked, they’d smile a grim smile and leave without paying, never to be seen again. They came one at the time, ordered the same things, and asked the same questions. I suspect that this morbid behavior will be dangerous to ignore…

I grow weary of their eerie comments, and I am requesting a wizard’s assistance in this time of need. Please arrive at “Thorn’s Bar” in Rose Garden as soon as possible to discuss further details.”

Ezra scratched his scalp as he reread the puzzling message. It certainly was an eerie request, knowing that a great evil may befall Rose Garden but a evil so obscure that such little detail was given publicly. But he could not face his guild or his people if he had simply ignored a call of distress. But with a request ranked so high, the blazing redhead feared for the worst.

Ezra sighed and relaxed back into his seat, slipping the request onto his lap as the train slid along the tracks. In the seats on the opposite side of him was a Mother and her daughter, who seemed visually interested in Ezra. She was small, had pigtails and brown hair, wore a frilly pink and white dress and had hazel eyes. She leaned over with a grin and tugged at Ezra’s sleeves.

“Hiya, Mister!” The little girl lilted with her silvery voice. Ezra turned to her, alarmed by the sudden physical contact and welcomed her with a grin just as friendly.

“Why, ‘ello there.”  Ezra acknowledged. The girl fell quiet for a few short moments, investigating Ezra with her eyes.

“Are you a wissard, mister?” The little girl spoke softly as she eyeballed him. Ezra laughed awkwardly to her pronunciation mistake, lifting his head to review the Mother, who appeared to be dozing off. The redhead turned back to the girl and nodded.

“Dam-... Darn right I am! The real thing, I tell ya.” Ezra rejoiced. The girl would grin even a wider grin this time around, revealing her missing teeth which only added to her cute charm.

“Are you stronk?!” She egged him on. Ezra’s face went as red as his hair as she spoke, almost breaking out in an innocent laughter at her speech. He pressed his hand against his chest and took a deep breath with a friendly smile before his face reduced back down to his normal complexion.

“Gee, if I ain’t strong, I’ll be damned! Wanna feel my ‘ceps? They pretty impressive if ya ask me, little girl!” Ezra would roll up his sleeve and flex for the girl, who almost had a twinkle of awe in her eyes. She began to grope his muscles, gasping.

“You’re so stronk!” The little girl had both her small hands wrapped tightly around Ezra’s biceps, tugging at his arms. “Hey, mister, where are you going? Are you going to fight monsters?” She asked inquisitively.

Ezra peered upwards in thought, wondering how to explain it to the little girl before he suddenly had a vague idea. The redhead turned back to her and smiled, “Well, ‘somethin like that. You see, there are lots ‘n lots of folks out in the world who are in trouble and need help. Wizards, like me, are the people to call to come to their rescue, ya know?”

The girl’s eyes sparkled in awe and she further shook his arm excitedly, “So you’re a hero? You beat up the bad guys?!”

“Uh-huh. You bet I do. And that’s what I’m going to do now, help people.” Ezra retorted.

“That’s so cool! I want to be a wizard, too, mister!!” At this point, the girl was shouting in the train, but her mother remained undisturbed.

“You do, huh? Ain’t that a nice goal! Maybe in a few years or so you can have all about it, little girl.” Ezra chuckled and ruffled her hair, “I remember when I wanted to become a wizard. I was just like you, I had a hero of my own. You do some hard work ‘n you’ll be a hero in no time, I reckon. Ya get me, little girl?” The redhead raised his hand to the girl, offering a high five which she had joyfully returned.

For the majority of the ride, the two had talked gleefully. The redhead had always enjoyed young children, it was a pleasure to endorse and talk to them.

“I gotta go now, mister!! Mama said so. Bye-bye!” She waved as she would hug the redhead’s leg and skip down the steps with her hand entangled with her Mother’s. The parent would peer over to Ezra with a smile and nodded, as if to say “thank you.” Ezra blushed and twisted and twirled his hair, embarrassed, but eventually nodded back with a thumbs up.

The train began to move again. At this rate, I reckon I’ll arrive earlier than anticipated. Always a good time to investigate, though… He pondered. But during this period of being, he felt many prying eyes lay upon him, and obscure gossiping.

Ezra realized this and peered behind his seat to find a group of middle aged women who gossiped, though Ezra couldn’t hear it quite as well as he wanted to. When the middle aged women caught him eavesdropping, they scowled at him and quieted down even more. At this point, Ezra decided to mind his own business and turn back around before one woman had stood from her seat and tapped his shoulder.

“Sir, you’re a wizard, are you not?” The woman with curly blonde hair had asked with a hint of concern in her voice.

Ezra would nod his head quietly, “Well, gee, yes I am.” He retorted before easing back into his seat, now aware of her presence. “What’s it to ‘ya?”

“In a guild, by chance? Which?” The concern in the woman’s voice only continued to grow, leaving Ezra feeling like he was being interrogated.

“You sure ask an awful lot of questions, Miss… but yes, I am in a guild. Fairy Tail.” Ezra smiled an awkward smile.

The woman’s face morphed into a scowl as she would quickly return to her group to whisper and gossip again before she stood up again. This time, her girl friends stood with her and all four of them walked over to his seat.

“So you’re with the outlaws who destroyed Magnolia Town, are you?!” The previous woman had accused him, the other women soon joined in.

“You’d ought to be arrested for your crimes! A lot of people lost their family, friends, and homes in that massacre!”

“Do you even feel sorry for what you’ve done?”

Their accusations continued, leaving Ezra thoroughly confused and speechless. But he could tell what was going on. The redhead, who was a wizard under the Fairy name, had been subjected to prejudice for a crime he did not commit. Ezra concluded that not only were these women not Magnolians, they clearly were ignorant, as Ezra had not even been in Fairy Tail during the incident. Realizing this, Ezra quickly became more infuriated by their accusations. He let them continue, as he did not want to cause a scene.

“Why are you silent? Have nothing to say? It’s as good as admitting to it, you know!” The first woman had topped it off, not noticing the popping veins of anger on his body.

Ezra finally responded. “You ladies are all fine and dandy, but you clearly aren’t informed, are ya?” The redhead shot piercing eyes back to the group, whom all flinched. “The real culprits behind such a terrible thing are shrouded in darkness and mystery. As if Fairy Tail would do such a thing. But ‘course, y’all had to fix the blame onto someone, and ‘suppose you thought it well be Fairy Tail, huh? I got a thing ‘r two to say, ladies. Ain’t no one gonna shame my guild like that, ya hear? I ain’t gonna hurt you, and I won’t raise my voice. I won’t talk down to you like you do me. Ain’t nobody got time for that, ya see. Hate my guys, ain’t none of my shits will be granted to you. But I’ll be here to help and protect you when you need me. That was Fairy Tail’s purpose years ago and it still is.” He turned back to the window. “Now how bout y’all sit’on down? You’ll fall… or worse, the conductor will start fussin.” Ezra grinned a friendly grin as the women would silently return to the seat behind them, no longer gossiping.

It was an interesting morning, Ezra was sure about that as he would get off the train and to his destination, Rose Garden. He expected company, as this was not a “one man’s job.” It required a diverse skillset and group of wizards, according to the request. It was labeled as an S-class job, which shocked Ezra. He wondered if the class was decided based on paranoia, the client having only seeing the suspected characters only once, not once coming across their names or seeing them being belligerent. Their questions did pique some suspicious, and he feared that this job was really worthy of S-class ranking, he knew better. He knew these people would rather be safe than sorry.

Ezra asked around for the quiet “Thorn’s Bar” to meet his client and to meet with the other wizards. As he was directed by many people, he made way to the alleyway that harbored the bar. It was rather dark and discomforting, not a place he’d expect a bar to be. But regardless, he walked around until he came across an entrance.

The redhead twisted and turned the knob, but to no avail. It appeared to be locked. Puzzled, he knocked and waited. No answer. So, he knocked and knocked until someone finally answered. A man with a thick beard, short black hair, a bulky face, and a suit with a red tie cracked the door open to peer out of it.

“Who are you? We’re closed.” He gruffed.

Ezra smiled, “I’m a wizard checking in for a request sent by a guy who said to meet at this bar. I’m from Fairy Tail. Is that guy here? Is anyone here, for that matter?” He could tell that the place was as empty as a bottle.

The man investigated the redhead from head to toe, before closing the door and unlocking what seemed to be dozens of locks. “Come in, have a drink while we wait for the others.”

Awkwardly, Ezra opened the door and made himself at home. “Sorry ‘fer intruding…” He whispered as he crept inside, sat down at the counter as the man would shine his glasses.

“Like some vodka? Or are you a wine guy?” The man with a gravelly voice spoke calmly.

“Uh, neither, sir. I don’t drink my booze until late at night. Too damn early for that luxury, heh.” Ezra tapped the counter delicately.

“My kind of guy.” The man chuckled. “You can call me Mr. Thorn, sir.” Mr. Thorn offered. Ezra was thoroughly satisfied with his name. It was only fitting that a bar in Rose Garden was called Thorn's Bar, with the bartender being a man named Mr. Thorn. How delightful!

Ezra snickered gleefully, “Ah, what the hell? I'll have a shot of vodka, if you don't mind. I've been having a glum morning, anyway.”

“Coming right up, sir.” Mr. Thorn would go to quickly prepare the drink, leaving Ezra to his own devices as he waited.

The redhead noticed the unique atmosphere of the bar, a sweet smell of flowers and delightful portraits and paintings of landscapes hung on the walls. The tables were made of a crisp mahogany, and the only light source were scented wax candles. Ezra whistled as if cat calling a woman, attracted to the bar's attractiveness. “Well ain't this just the prettiest bar I've been to. I should come here more often.”

A small shot glass slid over to Ezra, filled with his requested vodka. Ezra lifted his head only to find Mr. Thorn with his back still turned, shining his glasses again. “Is that so? What a compliment.”

Ezra would whiff the vodka before drinking it all in one go. “Damn right. The bars in Magnolia ‘n stuff only know how to make their men drunk. The place is a dump, otherwise. Has no class.” The redhead blushed as the alcohol flushed his system, tapping the table for another.

Mr. Thorn headed over to the shot cup where he refilled it, looking down at Ezra. “That should be enough. But yes, Rose Garden is known for it's class… our aged wine, hard vodka, and tasty booze is famous for it's rich components.”

By the time Mr. Thorn was done speaking, Ezra had already finished his vodka, raising his hand to decline Mr. Thorn's offer for another.

“Yeah, sure right about that. And you say men have been wandering here for more than booze?” Ezra lazily retorted.

Mr. Thorn found himself pausing his cleaning, a dark shadow casting over his eyes. “Indeed. They're very shady characters, and I fear the worst for this town if I didn't call in some wizards or skilled Rune Knights. Of course, the Rune Knights thought nothing of it. They called me paranoid and crazy since being cooped up in this bar all the time. They're too lax, you know.”

Ezra would lean onto the counter, fiddling with his glass. “You really think it's worthy of being S-class, though? Could just be a couple of scandalous robbers, ya know. I'm not saying it's not, but ‘er request seemed so vague…” Ezra would ask in a quiet voice.

“It was more than that. I felt it in my gut. They were not ordinary thieves, there was bloodlust in their eyes. I could hardly stand to watch then drink my wine without kicking them out. I felt like…” Mr. Thorn paused and peered back to Ezra, “like they could kill me.”

Ezra swallowed his saliva, looking down at the wood counter. “I see. Well, always trust ‘er gut is what I always say. Rather be safe than sorry.” Ezra chuckled. “We can continue this when the others come. I'm curious to meet’em myself.”

Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven] Empty Re: Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven]

Post by Lacey Botticelli 13th May 2017, 11:46 pm

She woke up to splatters of rain against her face, such a torrent that it was as if the harsh impact of each drop would leave a pin sized bruise on her face within a few hours.  Eyes of ice glanced placidly up at the mourning sky, the morning sky; crying and grey and so overcast with weeping clouds.  Inhaling deeply, Lacey tried to wipe her bangs off of where they had become plastered to the skin of her face, to her eyelids and down the bridge of her nose.  Being unsuccessful in the task, she soon resorted to individually peeling off the triangular chunks of hair until her vision was clear.  "Good morning, world," she greeted the lonely landscape that surrounded her.  Solemn Park was typically known for its lovely boardwalk, ponds, and wide stretching gardens and open areas for one to dash around and enjoy the outdoors.  She, however, had found another use for the place.  So many park benches were littered around the area, and each was suitable for sleeping in.  It was quite a true fact that Ald Ruhn had board and bed for real guildless mages, and the place was specifically guarded against any intruders who possessed a stamp or affiliation of any kind.  On her way to the ornate palace the ice mage had been before her course had required to be redrawn due to a certain . . . occurrence.  Lacey laughed lightly as she once again scratched the sticky hair away from her skin and thought about what had happened last night.

A stunning young woman with skin the color of dark chocolate and eyes a warm hazel had approached her at almost one in the morning-- come to think of it, these events had actually occurred today, unless she had managed to sleep well over twenty-four hours.  Such a thing would be troubling if it were the case.  It would be out of habit for the Icebergian female; come to think of it, though, her reaction to the stranger's random move to come closer was possibly atypical as well.  If that was true, then she blamed everything on being up late to help plant trees in Ald Ruhn.  Simply because she was a guildless mage who found refuge in the area, but also because the place was just beautiful and besides that any human inhabitant of the world had a responsibility to make the place healthier.  Greener.  Like the ivy shade that had lingered in the depths of the strange woman's eyes, underneath all of those muddy and golden shades.  Speaking of the woman and what she had wanted, the reason it was so strange was because Lacey had been asked to give her a very specific item: a stainless steel water bottle with a dark, almost navy blue plastic cover, double layered with only one label or logo on it at the maximum.  The ice mage had been as apologetic as was appropriate in her opinion, but she was not able to provide the object.  Oddly enough, the stranger had been genuinely surprised; even more awkward, or rather eerie, was how several minutes after she had acquired a water bottle that fit the description down to every detail.  Maybe the female had been a time traveling fairy, but in the end when the raven haired young woman had attempted to enter Ald Ruhn after reaching the edge of the territory surrounding the palace, she had been unable to come inside.  So Lacey had found herself here, in Solemn Park, sleeping on a park bench.  Of course, also waking up to the heavy torrent of rain.

She glanced up at the heavy clouds-- although likely not so burdened now that they were releasing all of that heavy condensation-- and was met with another barrage of pellet-like drops that put a great pressure on her eyes even through the lids.  Not to mention how the water seeped through all of the cracks and her pores, her clothes were already soaked from the rain.  Somehow, Lacey could not bring herself to mind no matter the situation; she was alive, she was well, and she was . . . well, it was a beautiful day.  "Hai . . . good morning, world," she repeated as she squinted up into the heavens, ignoring the stinging sensation that immediately begun on her cheeks and forehead and eyelids because of her choice of action.  Well, I suppose it's time to find shelter now, she mused.  Getting sick was never good if it could be avoided, and even if her body was accustomed to being cold, sopping wet conditions were hardly optimal for a person's health.  The snowflake mage found herself heading towards the exit of the park in an attempt to seek out cover of some sort as well as possibly a place to dry off her clothes.  It was true that this set was her only one, and the mage did not want to look bedraggled and u trustworthy, or not dependable should anyone wish to hire her for work.  The idea seemed almost silly, utterly ridiculous even; Lacey did not even appear to be a mage in her dripping fur coat and leather ankle boots with her stringy, charcoal hair.  Her entire look was like a patchwork of somebody who had taken a gander through several discount stores and maybe a few dumpsters, yard sales, or others places where castaway clothes came to be slightly wanted but mostly needed.  In reality, the coat was soft and quite warm even as it was wet, but aside from that her garments really were nothing special beyond their low face value.

Finally she had found an appropriate place to rest and recover until the showers subsided.  Plopping herself down on a park bench almost exactly like the one she had spent the night on-- that was, without a back and with a bus stop miniature open room built over it.  Lacey undid the buttons on her coat and draped it over the flat wooden surface, hoping that the water would be okay in the wood and not leave any negative results behind.  Afterwards she unwrapped her trusty scarf and was just hanging that over the bench, beside the coat, when a burly man with a tangled auburn beard stormed into the bus stop and sat down angrily right on top of her coat.  He seemed to be anxious for some reason, but that didn't prevent him from being upset over his error, even if in the end she was blamed for it.  Of course, who was Lacey to say whose fault it was . . . anyway, by the time he has finished berating her for even being born in the first place, the stranger was completely flushed red in the face and the female was feeling very awkward indeed.  In the time that followed she did her best to explain her situation since he demanded one, an explanation that was, but despite his desire to know why he didn't actually end up caring about her own experiences asofar this morning and last night.  After she had finished he abruptly accused her of making excuses; Lacey guessed this was true in a sort of way, but his second point that she was ugly and should never step foot in Fiore again was rather uncalled for in her opinion.  To this, all the dark haired mage had to say was "I'm sorry for any errors in my conduct and hope that" she never did get to finish, because the bus came screeching to a loud and abrupt halt right outside of the stop.  Without another word the bearded man stormed out of the small area and left Lacey behind; at least, he would have lest she not have followed in his wake.  It would be a nice idea to stop in some town where she could possibly do a little bit of shopping and ask around about what the heck was up with the blue capped water bottle she had acquired.

During their ride the man from before ignored Lacey the entirety of the trip, which was one part relief and one part concern.  His troubled expression made her wonder what was up as he disappeared into the crowd the moment people began to disembark in Rose Garden.  She herself hopped out and stood blankly in the middle of the street before wrapping her arms around her torso as she shivered barely.  Where was her coat-- oh, of course-- it was back at the bus stop, lying on the bench along with her faithful scarf.  The ice mage wanted to mourn her loss, but she supposed new clothes could be procured . . . even if she had no money at the moment.  Keeping this in mind, the sky eyed young woman wandered around the streets of the city for a while, just letting her eyes fly over everything and check that all was well.  So it seemed to be except for a few people whose expressions were nonsequitor when compared to the rest of those out and about today.  Among the crowd were a few whose faces showed neither hurry, worry, or an ordinary mirth, tiredness, and anything in between-- they were instead brooding and speculative.  Separate neither was too out of the ordinary, but the female couldn't help but feel as though she was being watched and every action of herself and those around her, jotted down in a notebook somewhere for dark purposes.  Unnerved by their surreptitious glances, Lacey slipped into the nearest bar building.  It was, in the end, a bar-- talking up at the front of the room was a pair of men whose eyes were half solemn and otherwise conversational enough.  Discarding any hesitations, the raven haired mage lightly stepped across the area, navigating the few tables and chairs until she reached the two.

"Good afternoon," she greeted with a faint smile.  Right as she was about to introduce herself or buy a drink that would probably only consist of juice or water, a thunderous slam shook the ground and the entire establishment, even.  Her lips pressed together in a firm line, her feet carrying her as quickly as possible back outside.  Upon reaching the open air, her eyes were met with the ordinary city-- encased in what seemed to be a dome of solid fog, slightly transparent but just opaque enough to be visible.  It was far away from her vantage point, but a quick twist told Lacey that the apparent barrier might even surround the entire city; surely it had to stop at some point, and that was a boundary that might make sense.  Did this have anything to do with those shady people scattered all around the town?  The ice mage blew out a breath of frustration.

Since Lacey is a guildless mage and has no request board I figured it would be~

Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven] Empty Re: Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven]

Post by Cirven 14th May 2017, 7:34 pm

The constant sounds of banging rang out over and over in the area around Divide island from workers building something new on the island. It was a towering building made for the West Fiore Trading Company that multiple people represented and was aimed to be the start of a new faction in Fiore aiming to help those who needed it. At least that was one of the guild's targeted demographics along with helping retrieve and ship out items for people and companies at a price. They had to make jewel to stay up and running so it only made sense that they would need a sort of income from what they did. The plan was for the building to be a sort of place where people could come with their vices or requests and the members of the West Fiore Trading Company would do their best to help.

The building was planned to look pretty professional with multiple receptions and multiple people to speak to who could help with anything you may have issues with. The members would all wear white apparel with a crest or pin somewhere on it in the form of the guild/company tattoo. The guild tattoo would be in honor of the entities known as Valkyries. They were/are beings that are sent to choose those who live and who die in battle and by the company choosing this as their symbol meant they were trying to say they were the chosen to live or at least that was what was implied by it.

Cirven stood wearing his typical all black attire not too far away from the building as he looked over the nearly constructed structure and grinned at it as he thought about all they were meant to accomplish with this new structure. All the things they could do would help those in the world but that was not all they were after. Though the company would be helping those publicly behind the scenes might have been a bit different of a story. The West Fiore Trading Company was a disguise that the true guild, Black Sails was using to hide who they were as basically masked mercenaries or pirates. The hideout for Black Sails would be located underneath the West Fiore Trading Company's headquarters which would further help in the disguise of Black Sails too. They would not be out to kill anyone unless it was needed but taking up jobs where they would be needed to steal expensive objects or other things would be a sort of focus by the Black Sails. The best thing was those objects could be sold and shipped out by the the West Fiore Trading Company under the idea that they found and bought it or stole it back for those it was taken from or to sell to others in the world. The idea could only get them into trouble if they were bad at it but it was an idea they could do after all because it was not the Black Sails' goal. The crew of the Black Sails was meant to steal and pillage where they could to benefit the guild, simple as that. They would be seen as criminals for their actions but because of the masks they wore they would be hard to track and find by anyone. this was especially true when they would make sure to have a way to wipe the minds of those who failed to join them or got too close to finding out about them. Divide Island would also have multiple precautions set around it in order to help the Black Sails/The West Fiore Trading Company keep tabs on things going on around their island. It only made sense for them to do such a thing in the end with how they would probably be making enemies from both the good and bad sides of the world which was only expected with them playing both sides of things.

The dual eyed demon's gaze was pulled away from the sight of the building being constructed from the sound of a voice calling out to him. "Cirven!" the female voice called out to him causing him to look towards where the voice had come from. The pointed eared man looked towards the well endowed barmaid of the Black sails and receptionist of the West Fiore Trading Company, Alisha who called out to him. "Yo, Alisha." He gave her a smile as he spoke to her. "We have gotten a job for the West Fiore Trading Company. It is a pretty discreet letter that was sent out a few days ago to us. Says something about some shady guys coming into a local bar in Rose Garden." Alisha waved around the letter in her hand as she spoke. Cirven quickly swiped it out of her hands. "I was getting sort of bored standing here and watching the crew build this anyways. Needed some fresh air polluted by the surroundings of a city for a bit." He chuckled and then whistled out calling for his pet serpent dragon, Zinnath. "You could have helped a bit, you know?" She responded to his comment about boredom. "Building isn't really my thing if you haven't noticed yet. I am more of the type to take things apart than fix or build them." As his comment finished the giant dragon flew down from over head and he jumped into the air where he landed on top of her. "I'll be back later where I'm hoping to see this building finished completely." Alisha could only sigh as he flew away towards Rose Garden.

Some time later, Cirven found himself walking through the city of Rose Garden and looking at the surroundings. It was a pretty lavish city so the sights with how each building looked and was held up. It was almost as if they each had some sort of professional cleaning crew come through and clean all of the building until they had a certain sparkle to them. The city did have this odor to it that Cirven could not get out of his nose. He blamed it on his senses being stronger than most who had to deal with the morality of things in life but that did not make it any better for him to smell. This caused him to constantly rub his nose in angst from the smell. After walking through the city for a bit more time he came to the bar mentioned in the letter he was given to by Alisha, Thorn's Bar. The name was a bit too fitting for the city he was in but he figured that was the reason for the name in the first place. He could hear some voices on the other side of the door which gave him the assumption that it was open and ready for him to enter. He reached out for the handle at first and gently tried to turn it where he found out that the door was locked. He then decided to do the next best thing he could do and simply knocked on the door. Seconds after the knock a bearded, short haired man in a suit opened the door to stare at him suspiciously. "Who are you? Can't you tell we are closed here?" The man spoke to him. "Honestly, with all the talking going on inside I thought that I'd be pretty welcomed to have a drink or more especially with being sent a letter to come here from a Mr. Thorn." The man stared Cirven up and down and then took a step aside. "Come on in."

Cirven nodded and walked into the bar. It was pretty much designed to look like the name it had and had thorn-like designs. The smell of the area was littered with different scents of alcohol and other drinks. Cirven could even smell the traces of some food in the back area which gave him the assumption that there was some sort of kitchen in the back. A stage carrying the same decorative look of thorns was also present in the room. Something else caught the demon's eye more than anything though as he saw a red haired man at the bar with a glass on the counter in front of him. "I am Cirven Mizune, by the way. I was wondering if Thorn your real name or are you using that to keep up the publicity of these place? It is kind of cool to have a name like that in this city either way." "Its my real name." Mr. Thorn replied and glared at Cirven and gave him the idea that he should probably just leave it all down to business. "Okay. Never mind the small talk. What exactly is going on here? Also if you have any good beer that would be great." Mr. Thorn went behind the counter while Cirven took a seat at the counter leaving a seat between the red haired man and him. Mr. Thorn caught him up on the details while serving Cirven up a beer which the demon quickly chugged down.

"So weird guys asking weird questions in the bar and you want me.. I mean us to look into that? By the way, who are you anyways?" Cirven questioned the red haired man. "Probably should know who you are a bit before we work together in our little team up and all." Cirven had never seen the man around before and because of that he wanted to know if the man was capable at all. He wasn't wanting to possibly have to baby sit anyone on a job that was already pretty sketchy as is for what he was getting into. "Also if you could give me a little display of your magic power that would be nice. Don't want you to be lagging behind in any way because this has the possibility of getting dangerous quickly." Before he could get an answer though a girl stumbled into the bar and caught each of them off guard. Cirven stared at her ready to attack if needed but did not feel like she meant any harm to them at all, at least not yet. She spoke out a 'good afternoon' and found her way to them as she made her way closer to them also. She looked like she was about to introduce herself when a loud boom could be heard from outside accompanied by a short shaking of the ground under them.

The woman quickly made her way back outside and Cirven looked towards both the men near him. "Looks like things are picking up. Put that beer on my tab." He followed the girl outside and looked up to see that the sky above them had a dimmed color as if something was blocking the light from above them from getting in completely. "A barrier, huh?" He mumbled out to nothing or no one in particular. Then in that same barrier that covered the sky above them the images of multiple cloaked people appeared. The cloaks were not used to cover their faces at all though which gave a weird feeling to Cirven. There was one in the center who spoke out. "Those of you who consider this Rose Garden home are now trapped inside of it due to a barrier that we have placed completely around it. You have no way to escape or way to have help come in." The sounds of citizens in the city panicking could be heard through the streets. "We are the guild Corona Culpable and we have come here to make Rose Garden our new home and headquarters. You can try to defeat us but you will only be defeated yourselves by our might and power! Each of our strongest members will be the key to destroying the city that you are in if you desire to try to actually defeat us. You will not only have them to deal with but our other members as well as well as there being a five hour timer for when the bombs triggered by each member is used. So bow down or be destroyed!" The images of the people disappeared with the end of the speech but it left a feeling in Cirven's chest. "That was way too much information given by them. Something isn't right but we don't have much of a choice right now, do we?" Cirven spoke to the red haired man and the woman near him. "I don't know if either of you are strong enough to really fight but we don't have much of a choice now but to work together with anyone else who wants to fight. Maybe go and try to destroy a part of the barrier but I doubt it will go down in the amount of time he gave us. There are too many variables to what could happen if we destroy the barrier but I know if we take out the person who created it we will disperse it. Simple magic logic, right? Either way though, I'm going to beat down some baddies and possibly make more of a name for myself with the Magic Council. Try to stay alive." With that said, a group of cloaked individuals came out from around the corners of the bar and attacked them. Cirven quickly pulled out the knives he had placed on his sides, sparked to life black electricity on them and swung them around through the air quickly defeating the few of the men that attacked him. He had heard them before they attacked due to his enhanced hearing. He took this time to see if the red haired man and the woman could hold their own. If not he would jump in and help them which would result in him scolding them and telling them to stay in the bar for safety.

Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven] Empty Re: Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven]

Post by DOPPO 15th May 2017, 4:30 pm

For the most post, Ezra and Mr. Thorn had their pleasant exchange of words. They spoke little of their backgrounds, and to Ezra's surprise, this was a bar passed down from father-to-son for seven generation, according to the man. Ezra was shocked by the commitment behind the bar, but he also wondered if family tradition was really what he wanted to do.

Ezra stared down at his reflection in what little vodka there was left inside the glass, gazing deeply into his own sky blue eyes, his charming, white skin. He pushed the glass away with a gentle nudge and looked back up to Mr. Thorn, "Ain'tcha ever think of getting out of this place? Seeing the world a bit? Not all drinks have to make you tipsy. Swear you'd like 'erself a Magnolian drink, if it still stood..." Ezra's voice drowned out at the last part, their conversation cut short by the sudden intrusion of another.

He heard the faint knocking of knuckles, Mr. Thorn taking notice and cautiously walking up to the back door. Ezra could trace quiet exchanges between the young man and Mr. Thorn. The redhead whistled as the two talked, before Mr. Thorn would give in and allow the man entry.

With Ezra's keen sense of hearing, he was quickly able to pick the young man's name up. Cirven Mizune. An odd name, but he supposed any name was odd. He would peer back over his shoulder to view Cirven, who had somewhat short long hair, and eyes with two different colors.

Cirven was quick to get to the point when he arrived at the counter, asking all sorts of questions. Some included a hint of arrogance, which didn't irk Ezra, he simply took notice is all.

The redhead grinned and nodded, "Someone's confident. Name's Ezra Aurence, Cirven. Overheard your conversation with our client, so that's how I know your name. Well I guess it do't really matter now since you know mine 'n all." Ezra rubbed the nape of his neck awkwardly before breaking the tension with a cackle, Ain't this just a doozy? Feel like some sort of detective, ya know? 'Suppose we already are, heh."

Ezra tapped his fingers on the counter, a subtle request for another shot of vodka. It was a risky request, knowing how Ezra couldn't handle his booze very well, but he feared he'd need such intoxication to remain tranquil for the remainder of this mission. Mr. Thorn slid a glass over to him, this time, Ezra taking careful sips. His cheeks flushed pink, "Ooo-wee! Ain't that just the hardest thing I've ever poured down my silly-ol-throat in all week." Ezra and Mr. Thorn both shared laughs before Cirven was up and at it again with a bombardment of questions.

Ezra smiled and shook his head, "Lil' display, you say? I think it's best experienced when 'er surprised. And me? Lagging behind?" Ezra nearly choked and slapped his knee, "Ain't that a jest! You don' got a thing to worry 'er little head off about,
Mister Mizune. They only send the best of the best for S-class, son."
He gave Cirven a hearty slap on the back as a sign of good will before an effervescent young woman made herself known in the bar.

Ezra leaned out of his stool to get a clear look at the woman, holding his glass. The redhead waved in a burst of friendliness which would appear to light up the moods of everyone "'Ey there, Missy! Afternoon to 'ya too." Ezra chugged down what little vodka had remained, slammed the glass down on the counter before accompanying it with some jewels in a leather pouch. "That should be everyone, ya think? Now let's get down to business -- !!"

    SWHOOM!

A loud burst could be heard, shaking the ground, the building, everything. Ezra calmly looked up into the atmosphere, fascinated. "I see," The trio would soon discover an eerie barrier swallowing Rose Garden, "a barrier, huh? Guess we don't have much of a chance to talk 'bout business. Seems like business has come to us!" Ezra would chuckle before his humor reduced down to a state of solemn.

Suddenly, among panicking citizens was a much more ominous voice with words of terror within a speech. "Those of you who consider this Rose Garden home are now trapped inside of it due to a barrier that we have placed completely around it. You have no way to escape or way to have help come in. We are the guild Corona Culpable and we have come here to make Rose Garden our new home and headquarters. You can try to defeat us but you will only be defeated yourselves by our might and power! You will not only have them to deal with but our other members as well as well as there being a five hour timer for when the bombs triggered by each member is used. So bow down or be destroyed!"

Ezra stared quietly down at counter, in deep thought. Cirven would simply lay out his intentions for the group, often commenting on their power, underestimating their abilities. Ezra grunted and glared back to him, not with a look of hate but of sheer concern. "Kid, before you dip," Ezra stood up and pointed to the barrier just above them, "To them thousands of townspeople 'ousside, that ain't just a job to them. It's a death sentence. You best treat it like one, not 'erryone was born with the strength to vanquish such evil. This ain't no ticket into the pockets of Magic Council, to these folks, we're their only hope." Ezra simmered down as Cirven departed by himself.

The redhead looked over to the woman and huffed, "Name's Ezra. We can save chitchat for later, we have to fix things and fix things fast, ya hear?" The wizard took the woman by the wrist and dragged her outside for a better view. Ezra pinched his nose, "I have the damndest best nose in all'n Fiore. I can track down them bombs in no time... or some time... we also need to get the citizens to safety and prevent as much collateral damage as possible. We should evacuate'em to safety first, yeah?" Ezra proposed.

The was still time before they were likely to trigger the bombs, knowing how... smart they were. He looked to the woman with eyes of concern.

Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven] Empty Re: Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven]

Post by Lacey Botticelli 17th May 2017, 8:41 pm

Before I start, I just want to say something~
@Ezra, Lacey already went outside, as soon as the barrier went up and shook the ground so you really didn't need to say you dragged her outside; I'm just going to ignore that part (: especially because Cirven also wrote she already headed outside and you wrote Ezra leaving after him
Also sorry for the couple day wait~

Lacey glanced briefly behind her to see the dark haired man-- Cirven Mizune-- emerge from the bar.  She let her eyes drift over his face and take in his odd expression as the environment around them suddenly boomed with a loud voice. Each of our strongest members will be the key to destroying the city that you are in if you desire to try to actually defeat us. You will not only have them to deal with but our other members as well as well as there being a five hour timer for when the bombs triggered by each member is used. So bow down or be destroyed!"  She outright winced at those words, both because of how blatantly baiting they were as well as due to the circumstances that they forebode should the hook not be bitten at.  Cirven seemed to have a similar idea in that he told them fighting was necessary; apparently attempting to straight destroy the barrier would be unsuccessful.  It was only natural that such a large scale spell, cast around the entirety of Rose Garden, would be well thought out in its casting.  If it were the case that there was some kind of lash back as a result of breaking the transparent bubble like wall, the city would be devastated.  She therefore listened closely as the duo eye colored man wrapped up his short speech.  Stay alive-- she could handle that, probably . . .

The ice mage narrowed her eyes as the image of Cirven nonchalantly saying that he wasn't sure if they were strong enough to fight or not, rose to the surface of her mind.  Lacey was slightly curious why he didn't simply ask if they were fighters or about what power level they were at, rather than going about and saying things in such a passive aggressive sort of way.  Nonetheless, she put it out of focus for now and raised an eyebrow to Ezra as he babbled on about his nose.  Knowing just how great a variety of people, sub human and partly human, wandered around here in Fiore she wouldn't be surprised to hear he was part canine.  His recommendation of evacuating the citizens was also a shrewd one, well it would be if the entire city wasn't contained inside this enormous bubble.  Even if they attempted to put people in warehouses or underground, any grand scale attacks would only have a more concentrated area to target for large casualties.  She protested levelly, "I believe we should stop those behind this attack.  Protecting civilians at the same time may be necessary but any efforts to move significant groups of people to areas which are meant to be safe would likely be noted by this . . . guild.  The one behind this entire scheme," she concluded.  "There are enough dark cloaks scattered through the crowd that I am sure information would be relayed quickly, and there is also no telling whether some of their number are disguised.  I feel we have a duty to take down the enemies in order to dissipate the barrier, but you are right in that their safety comes first.  Shielding collateral damage is an excellent point," she muttered before her eye caught on one of the aforementioned dark cloaked figures.  They were surprisingly inconspicuous despite the cheerful mood Rose Garden normally held-- perhaps it was exactly because the atmosphere was suddenly watchful and vigilant due to the situation that they fit in with the dark and sulking vibe.  Lacey bowed briefly to her two new partners before she took off after the man or woman she had spotted.

As she left, she watched as another group of dark cloaked figures converged on the point where she had left Ezra and Cirven standing together the last time she had noted their appearance; throwing out her arm, the girl whispered, "Verglas," and a thin sheet of white eyes dropped in front of them, separating the group from her view.  Effectively, it also prevented those attackers from following her and left them for the two to deal with: she had confidence in them.  Then again, the two could simply break through her ice and follow her but that was something to think about later.  Her raven hair flew out behind her as the girl chased after the cloaked mage through the mostly empty streets of Rose Garden.  Ezra would probably be pleased that most of the civilians had managed to not panic and had followed several fire and terrorist procedures that were put into place; many of them had been prodded into doing so by family, friends, and any present law enforcement or officials.  Still posed was the problem of now more concentrated attacks being able to be pulled off, but it was nice for them to be out of the way of any battle.  The dark cloaked mage was now slowing down, and Lacey matched his pace until she came to a stop at the same time as his feet did several meters ahead.  The man turned around to shoot her a gloating look before a magical signature exploded from behind her and she dropped to the ground like a stone, barely dodging the enormous blast of fire that came shooting right at where her head would have been.  As things were, her hair was barely singed as it flew up briefly before settling down to the ground along with the rest of her body.  The ice mage felt around for the staff that she had dropped during her abrupt fall as she made eye contact with her new opponent.

The woman was quite beautiful, with the reddest hair that the Icebergian female had ever witnessed.  Her figure was stunningly squished into an extremely tight dress, and the girl snapped her teeth together before she gaped at the sight that could possibly even be considered obscene depending on whether one objected to that kind of thing or not.  Now behind her, the dark cloaked man laughed a harsh sound that echoed the triumph of a reveler after victory.  "Queen Vancti has you now!" he cackled before the sound of his footsteps vanished and she was left to stare up at the smirking stranger.  The two let their eyes meet and listened to the silence for two heartbeats before Lacey twisted to the side to avoid the spear of ice that ripped into the cement where her chest and lungs would have been moments before had she not moved.  The girl yanked her staff close to her body before she lifted up her left hand, which glowed a brief periwinkle before the mage Blinked right away from the crimson haired beauty.  From a new five to six meters away, Lacey twirled her staff needlessly and stared at the woman-- Vancti-- from behind.  "Blizzard!" she commanded and as if it were magic, because it was, a snowstorm formed around the young woman and pelted her enemy, that strange mage, with fluffy flakes.  It was not necessarily a severely impairing spell, but the clincher was that it was freezing to the touch despite the fact that snow required a relatively moderate temperature when it came to cold.  The ebony haired mage stared as the specks of snow and ice danced around Vancti until they finally came in contact with her skin-- every place they touched, the skin chilled until her body was nearing the level of hypothermia.

She whispered to herself, "Glacial Potency," as she watched the woman shudder.  Rose Garden was not a place where the inhabitants ever experienced winter, except for when it was intentional-- either way, nobody knew if this female was even from Fiore.  Dark guilds had a tendency to meddle in business they oughtn't to, it was part of the job description.  "Halo--" the winter mage was about to shout another offensive spell when she was cut off by a sudden flash of light in her eyes.  Wincing, Lacey stumbled backwards slightly, temporarily blinded; she panicked as she realized that anything could be happening right now.  When the girl forced her eyes open, she was met face to face by an elegant young woman who bore a strange resemblance to Vancti.  Even more strange, she didn't seem threatening in the least, and where had the battle even gone?  The young woman could barely remember what she had been doing before she laid eyes upon this breathtaking image.  "Your Queen commands you to her bidding," a smooth voice as rich and smooth as almond butter flowed out of dark painted ruby lips.  Numbly, she nodded and stared as a thin fingered hand was extended to her.  "You fail to greet your queen?" the voice snarled, and Lacey gritted her teeth as her body was suddenly wracked with a stinging pain.

It was hardly incapacitating, but the feeling was not pleasant.  "Would I fail you my lady I would but fail to live," she replied as she lowered her eyes.  There came a pause in their interaction before the imperious and sinfully beautiful voice came again.  "Then you will bow to your queen," it said.  At that, the female had to pause.  Bow to who?  Her queen . . . her queen?  Iceberg had a king, a mere figurehead that never held power, and she would bow to no king nor queen.  Lavinia Botticelli bowed to no one.  "A hoax," she lifted her head with a certain viciousness that was uncharacteristic of the sky eyed mage.  "I bow to no one," she said with a surety as she threw off the illusion and whacked the female solidly across the face with her staff.  In casting the illusion, Vancti had wandered too close to the young woman, and now she paid for her folly.  With a surprisingly satisfying red mark across her cheek, the enemy mage slumped to the ground.  Within her own mind, though, the cold loving one saw a crown tip off carmine hair and crack sharply in two pieces against the concrete, and that was a lovely sight indeed.  Her furred ears twitched underneath her hat as Lacey brushed off her skirt and retied her scarf.  One down . . . a few left to go.

Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven] Empty Re: Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven]

Post by Cirven 21st May 2017, 4:27 pm

The demon only grinned at Ezra's comments. If the crimson haired man he was partnered with had anything he had confidence and Cirven wasn't going to fight against that right for Ezra to have it. He simply took the idea of his new ally being confident as a sign that he had been through enough battles to handle his own because most people in the same circumstance as Ezra would be soiling their clothes in multiple bodily fluids from the sheer fear of what was going on and the lack of control they had. Ezra already seemed to be able to assess the situation and know what he could do or what had to be done. Cirven was not mind reader but he could tell all of that from the simple reactions Ezra gave. He even didn't respond to the comment where Ezra called him a kid half because of it. It did make Cirven cringe from being called a kid though because with everything that happened in his life he was far from it but not many knew of his past so he shrugged it off.

The demon's other companion seemed to be in a similar mindset if not in a better one as she quickly spoke out about what they should do confidently and then seemed to go about doing it as she rushed off after bowing to Ezra and him with some sort of pearl white ice-like barrier preventing any enemies from following her without dealing with the barrier first. This left Ezra and Cirven alone to deal with the assailants that had come to deal with them which was fine for the demon because he had a tendency to work better alone usually. It did depend on the person he was with but the less people he had to look after while fighting, the better. "Don't take all the glory for yourself, young lady!" He yelled out in a bit of a teasing way. He figured she would understand what he meant by that a bit but with the little interaction they had had he might have been wrong.

Cirven quickly dodged a few attacks from swords aimed at his body from the cloaked assailants and downed them with swift slashes from the two magically charged knives he held in his hands. He had cleared out enough of the enemy to where he was satisfied with leaving Ezra deal with the rest so he decided to give his goodbye to the man before leaving. "Try to take down as many as you can but don't get in over your head. I'll find you after dealing with some more of the enemy in other areas." With that said, Cirven dashed into an alley way where he jumped from wall to wall until landing on the top of one of the buildings. He wanted a higher perspective on things but also knew that being seen on top of the buildings would be a problem possibly. He wanted to take that 'problem' and use it against his enemies though. They would have to be wary of a person that was not them jumping from building to building after all because it showed the power that the person could possibly possess. So the demon then started jumping from building to building looking around for any of the enemy in the city. He witnessed some of the law enforcement dealing with what seemed to be the weaker enemies so he decided not to step in because he could feel that there were stronger enemies around.

The demon took a leap from one building to another but before he could reach the building he was struck down suddenly by a blade that flew through the air and through his shoulder. He let out a grunt from the pain and fell to the ground where he was introduced to more pain that wracked his body. He then laid there on the ground gritting his teeth from the pain as he reached towards the blade still embedded in his shoulder. A pair of foot steps tapped their way towards him and a cloaked man came from out of the shadows of one of the corners in the large city. "I hit my target and it looks like it is pretty much immobilized now, huh? Thought this would be more fun with how you leapt from building to building like that. That isn't a natural thing, you know?" The man's voice was not all that deep and he sounded more like a younger man as he approached. He stopped in front of Cirven who was practically cowering from the pain. "Hmm.. I guess you are not worth the time are you? Maybe I should just ki-" The man was cut off from his sentence as Cirven the blade from out of his shoulder and swung it up across the man's body in an attempt to hit him. The man dodged back just nearly dodging the damage that could have occurred but his cloak showed that the blade had made some sort of contact as it was cut clean through. "Guess you haven't gone after someone who knows how to play possum then." Cirven threw the blade spinning towards the man who ripped off his cloak to reveal the face of a young, short blonde haired man in a leather-like battle armor and then summoned out a metal shield in front of him from out of no where which blocked the blade that was thrown. The blade and shield both deteriorated into magical energy after. "Looks like I was wrong and I possibly am dealing with a sort of monster here. A monster who can regenerate from his body being damage." The man pointed to at the now healed part of Cirven's arm.

"Yeah. You got the short end of the stick." Cirven pulled out two of his knives and caused black electricity to swirl over them. "Oh? Looks like you have more power than I thought also. Perfect!" The man rushed towards Cirven and summoned up a claymore sword which he swung out to hit the demon multiple times. The clashing of metal echoed throughout the pathway the two were engaging in as the knives parried the claymore over and over again. Cirven was looking for a hole in the man's offense but could not find it with the relentless attacks aimed at him until he was able to parry the claymore into the ground near him. He swung one of the knives to make contact on the man's new blindspot but a sudden shield appeared again but this time it was covered in a green magical aura. Cirven could not stop himself from making contact with the shield with his knife but managed to get away from his opponent after the collision of the two metallic objects. He kept his eye on his enemy as he looked at his knife to see that it was melting. He quickly threw it away and the man laughed out at him.

"That was a pretty fast reaction. Most people would have lost an arm there after making contact with my acid shield. This is getting fun, right?" Cirven grinned back at the man. "You know what? It is." The man's attention was brought away from Cirven as he saw that both of Cirven's hands had no knives in them when he only destroyed one of them. A knife flew up from behind him and stabbed into the man's side. "I left that over there for you when I ran. Seems like that whole shielding thing works only on what you can see coming at you, right? I'm just figuring you all out, aren't I?" The man grabbed the knife and ripped it out from his side and then threw it at Cirven. The knife flew all the way to the demon before stopping suddenly in the air in front of Cirven's face showing he had control over it. "Didn't like my gift much? Guess I should be happy you sent it back at least." Cirven gave the man a grin, grabbed the knife out of the air and started to walk towards him. The man dropped to a knee from the pain and the claymore disappeared. He grunted out in anger from the pain. "No, no, no, no, no! NO!" The man yelled out and caused Cirven to stop in his approach. "I thought I could have fun with you but I can't take you lightly at all! I will just have to show you the true power that I possess with my Arc of Embodiment magic!" Cirven's face changed as he realized what type of magic he was up against and the potential it really had.

Before Cirven could react anymore, a floating robot appeared out of no where near the man and started to heal his new knife wound and while it did he summoned a large cannon over his shoulder that he pointed at the demon. Cirven threw his knife out quickly but Leath dodged it leaving it to stab into the building behind him."I am Leath, the creator and you will die here thanks to this mini etherion cannon!" Right after Leath yelled out the cannon fired shooting a beam out that surrounded Cirven and scorched through multiple buildings behind him. After the blast there was nothing in front of Leath but the destruction he caused. He laughed out for his victory but suddenly the robot healing him was stabbed by one of Cirven's thrown knives. "That was pretty impressive honestly. Good thing I was able to avoid it by blinking towards my thrown knife. Thanks for dodging it." Cirven's voice came out from behind him and he turned around to face him. "I wonder how many things you can create at a time?" Leath's eyes widened as he saw Cirven alive and pulling out the rest of his knives from under his own coat and threw them at him. Leath quickly reacted by calling up his acid shield again but Cirven predicted that and made all but one of his knives miss as he moved as a bolt of black electricity through Leath to the other six knives. Cirven's elemental form passing through Leath left him being shocked from it and while that happened Cirven's knives all found a place to embed themselves into Leath's body. "I'm the demon, Cirven Mizune and you might just bleed out from my attack. Lets hope the authorities get to you first." After Cirven spoke the knives were all pulled out telepathically from Leath's body and rubbed on his clothes to get the blood off of them before floating towards Cirven and being placed back on his sides in their holsters. Leath dropped to the ground unconscious from the pain while Cirven went to find the nearby authorities to arrest Leath.

Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven] Empty Re: Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven]

Post by DOPPO 28th May 2017, 9:31 am

Everyone seemed to know what they were doing in the few minutes they spent together. He enjoyed the cooperative atmosphere the three had laid out for themselves in the short time they conversed. Plans were made and helpful edits to said plans quickly took place afterwards. The three, or perhaps just Ezra and the young woman, had discussed the situation before leaving each other to their own devices.

But before the three adept wizards brought the fight to the enemies, the enemies seemed to bring the fight to them as two men or women in dark shawls approached them with a certain hostility. The redhead swiftly dodged any sort of lunges they made. However, not to Ezra's surprise, Cirven had quickly downed them with the swift movements of his hidden blades. Their faces fit well with the concrete below, all snug in the stone and all. The thought made Ezra chuckle lightly as they trio would then depart for the period.

The sound of metal flesh against metal, the slowing fading magical presence of Cirven as he departed for a greater good, it was all too refreshing for the redheaded wizard. He took deep breaths and smiled confidently, but would soon fall back down into a state of puzzlement. "Oh, well, the problem is that I ain't as mobile as them fellas... gonna be 'joggin all throughout town to find these guys! Geez!" Ezra groaned, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

Suddenly, the ground shook vigorously just as Ezra swallowed his words. For only mere seconds the ground had vibrated, as if some sort of large object had been tossed from a vast height. However, this was simply different from any debris. It had the faint sense of a wizard that made his strength feel mediocre in comparison. He felt as if there was a hot breath on his neck. The streets were empty, leaving Ezra somewhat pleased as he had realized that this was no debris, but an enemy to strike down. As Ezra peered over his shoulder, he would discover a tall figure decked in armor. From what Ezra could tell, it was a man, but suspected that it might just be a deception of the genders! He happened to be more concerned about the person's sex than their strength, and was left in a state of wonder as the alleged man spoke. "Who are you, wizard?
Are you prepared to descend to the realm of death? by my hands?"
The knight-like wizard warned him with a deep, mysterious voice, but full of confidence and capability.

Ezra turned around with a solemn expression, his yellow eyes full of intensity and a thirst for battle. Or, what seemed like a thirst for battle, when truthfully, he had made up his mind about something very important. The redhead and pointed a proud finger toward the knight-like wizard and accused him of something jaw dropping, "You sir, are a MAN!" Ezra protested, "Yes, it is very clear now! I'll be damned if I'm wrong!"

It seemed that the wizard has his priorities mixed about when the conversation went from life-or-death to the stunning confusion he had suffered from with the wizard's gender. But clearly, Ezra had been mistaken. The wizard had trembled in a silent rage, brooding and mumbling all the same. "Why, you little..." The knight-like wizard had held out a hand as a large, no, humongous bastard sword began to materialize in his palm, "I am a woman, you scum! Prepare to fall to the blades of Ealit!" She elucidated, pointing her bastard sword at Ezra with the strength of only one arm. "Prepare yourself! HYAH!"

With a violent swing, Ealit had lunged at Ezra with mighty force and speed. Luckily, due to the weapon's size, it was easy to predict the movements and to dodge accordingly, but the redhead couldn't escape a scratch on the cheek from the blade's deadly kiss. A moment of silence passed by as Ezra would run two hot fingers over his tender wound, a smile on his face, "God almighty! If ain't that just the mightiest swing my eyes have seen! You must work out a lot, eh?" Ezra jested.

Ealit had withdrawn her weapon from the lunge and resumed a combat stance, following with a chuckle, "Likewise! Not just anyone can dodge that, or THIS!" Ealit would lunge again with an even greater force than before, leaving Ezra to resort to magic at once.

The lady-warrior would soon realize that she had only struck a cloud of chilly mist, Ezra nowhere to be found in her field of vision. "Where did you go? What tricks do you have up your sleeve, wizard?" Ealit demanded, looking all about in hopes of revealing the redhead.

Little did she know that the Ice Slayer had been several meters in the atmosphere above her, preparing for a grand counterattack. "That was close, lassie, almost got me
    there!"
Ezra shouted, Ealit quickly realizing what position she had been in and adjusted herself into a defensive posture. "Come to me, The Royal Drake!" At those heedings, a large, sixty-five meter tall and one-hundred-fifty meter long, pure white drake manifested in the atmosphere with it's magnificent battle cry.

The drake had landed directly on top of Ealit, leaving a smokescreen of dust and dirt in the air. One would instantly think she had been crushed under the force of the summon, but as the smokescreen disappeared, it would be seen that she had raised her bastard sword right there the drake had struck, holding off its talons with equal force, the two beasts struggling to overpower another. "As if I'd let your lizard get me so easily!" Ealit had laughed confidently as she slowly began to overpower his drake.

Ezra smiled, as he would position himself just behind the armored mistress, "Ain't that a doozy? I wouldn't 'llow ya to escape so easily, ya know!" It would soon be discovered that in his hands was an icy bow, armed and ready to fire, "Ere' we go!"

With that being said, three arrows fired at amazing speed. Ealit, having noticed his intent, only had two options. She could either ignore the battle of power between her and the drake and intercept the projectiles, or succumb to the arrows' strength in an attempt to fend off the drake. Either way, the lady-warrior would succumb to his forces.

"Tch!" She growled, seemingly unable to react fast enough, as not only was she struck with all the arrows, but was crushed underneath the towering talons of the drake. After several moments of silence, Ezra had inched his way over to the woman and commanded his summon to lift its paw. To Ezra's surprise, Ealit had been unconscious and frozen... and grounded perfectly into the stone and dirt. Her giant bastard sword had  dematerialized into nothingness, leaving Ezra relieved.

The redhead looked up to his large summon, "Alllllrighty, then! One down,
however-many to go! Let's go, hm?"
Ezra had climbed onto the head of his drake and went off throughout town, leaving the unconscious woman to her dreams and the authorities.

Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven] Empty Re: Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven]

Post by Cirven 20th June 2017, 3:03 pm

    Spoiler:

It wasn't too hard for the demon to find some Rune Knights inside of the city with all the dark guild members trying to cause mass destruction and panic to everything around them. A group of five Rune Knights found themselves being overrun by a group of the dark guild members until multiple knives were thrown into some of the group of dark guild members. "Who said you could harm the authority around here?" The dark guild members turned to see Cirven twirling one of his knives with his right hand's pointer finger. "You honestly should just lay down and be arrested before this gets any worse.
Those guys I hit should live but I don't know if I can guarantee the same for any of you if you go against me.
" The demon spoke of an aura of intimidation coming from him but even so the enemy did not seem to want to listen. "It's one guy! He only got the others by surprise! We can take him!" One of the men yelled out to the others and lifted up the sword in his hands into a offensive stance before charging towards Cirven. "They never listen..." Cirven mumbled out as the group of men all charged him following the one in the lead who had confidently spoke out.

Cirven chucked the knife in his hands towards the leading man of the charge which would have forced him to block the attack but it missed. The man stared at the knife and then laughed at Cirven for his failed attempt to hit him. "You think that type of throwing will help you!?" The man continued to laugh, even closing his eyes in his laughter. During this time Cirven morphed into black electricity where his then flew towards the knife that missed catching it in the air and striking one of the men behind the lead. He then threw it again towards another man and did the same. He repeated this process with each man but the leader all while the leader laughed. The laughter ended just as Cirven dealt with the last man behind the leader. "Have a good laugh there?" The leader opened his eyes as he heard the voice of his enemy coming from behind him when he last remembered he was in front of him and weak. He turned his head to see each of his men were dealt with and Cirven picking up all of his knives. "How..How.. Did you..?!" The man spoke out. "Do you know how faking works?" Cirven started to move closer to the man but with each step the man took one back until he finally ran off in fear. "Tell your side that I am coming for them all!"

Cirven turned to the Rune Knights and waved to them with a grin on his face. "Yo, got some work to do here, huh?" The Rune Knights were confused at first but came out from their defensive position and some of them started to arrest the downed men. "I am Sergeant Tarlin. Thank you for your help, sir." Tarlin spoke out as he made his way to Cirven and extended his hand to him. Cirven looked at the hand of the man before shaking it. "Not a problem at all. They pretty much deserve it after all. This city is a beautiful one that they just up and decided to destroy." Tarlin nodded and then the two let go of the hand shake. "That is true. Are you going to continue fighting these men or...?" Cirven nodded back. "Yeah.
This is a job some bar owner named Thorn called me in for to protect the city. There are two others doing this job with me. A red haired man and a blue haired girl. They might be around here somewhere but they are on our side. Oh and I have defeated one of their stronger members. He is over in the ally waiting to be cuffed up too.
    "

"Glad to hear we have more help on our side. We will take care of that man from here. We also have some other Rune Knights in the city that we need to meet up with and help. Take care of yourself." With that Tarlin turned to Cirven and helped arrest the last few downed enemies by cuffing them in anti-magic handcuffs. "Same to you." Cirven went off again to find more enemies that needed to be dealt with. The way the demon had just dealt with Leath in his own showy display of his speed and ability did not compare to the feeling of magical power coming from another part of the city that had him thinking that what he did was on a flash in the pan. He had been running through the city streets and quickly dealing with the weaker members of the dark guild when he felt the magical power coming from back near the bar. After dealing with the few enemies around him using a quick sequence of electrified claw attacks, he flew up into the air and landed on top of one of the buildings to see a massive dragon-like creature that then slammed one of its limbs into the ground below it. "I wonder if that thing is on my side or not...?" He questioned himself as if he knew the answer. "Time to find out." He continued speaking to himself. It was somewhat of a bad habit he had but it did help him think so it couldn't have been that bad.

He knew that if that was an enemy that he needed to go and deal with them as quickly as possible before they could cause anymore destruction to the city and/or the civilians around it. If it was not an enemy then the person who used the beast would be in for some company sooner than later. That display would catch the eye of any of the remaining enemy and cause them to want to go and deal with it swiftly to prevent it from causing them anymore trouble. Either way the dual-eyed demon knew that he had to go and make an appearance in order to do what he could. He only hoped that he would not be going in alone to do such because the amount of enemies could possibly overwhelm him.

He used his ability in electromagnetism to take flight again and flew through the air while staying just above the tops of the buildings he passed over. He did this to avoid being seen too much as well as using the buildings as a sort of cover from any ranged attacks send his way which he expected to have to deal with from anyone who thought he posed a threat. He was quickly proven right as blasts of different elements and magical energy were sent his way from some mages. The blasts were easy for him to dodge and with his speed of flight he could out run the attacks but it was still a nuisance to him because he had to sometimes completely stop and loop around areas to avoid too many attacks sent his way. "Next time I'll take a train or something more protected than this." He spoke again to himself as he flew around dodging the attacks. The attacks were slowed down until finally stopped when some Rune Knights who had found themselves inside the city during the take over came to Cirven's aid. They were the same ones he met up with earlier in order to arrest Leath but this time they had some extra men with them. Cirven gave a wave to the group to show his recognition to them before flying off again.

After flying for a good amount of time he found himself not too far away from the area the beast was in. It had now disappeared which caused him to think that it was possibly an ally because an enemy would have made the beast destroy more of the area like the dark guild had wanted to do. Before he could fly much further though a nearby building was completely leveled by an explosion causing it to crumble onto the ground. The demon quickly changed his course and went to see what was happening with the downed building.

On top of a nearby building to the one that had just crumbled down stood a hooded man who pulled his hood down to reveal the face of an older, bald man. "Why must this operation feel so dull to me? Usually destroying things for no reason has me happy and wanting more but for some reason it is different now. Hmm... Maybe using that man's body as a bomb from this distance wasn't good enough for me...?" He then jumped down from the building landing near a panicked man and a little girl who both let out a squeal of fear from seeing man just jump down from a building suddenly in front of them. The older man quickly lunged out and grabbed the man's throat and held him into the air. "Hmm.. Maybe watching you explode up close and personal will help me have some fun? Maybe with that young girl watching too!"

Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven] Empty Re: Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven]

Post by Aliannah 23rd June 2017, 4:43 pm

    Bloom

Aliannah had honestly never expected to return from her trip of self discovery to something so chaotic. She had changed a lot since she left, she was more agile now, her speed had picked up, she was finally able to control her powers, and she knew how to fly. Properly. She wore a red hooded cape with the hood up and over her eyes, the only thing that could be seen was her blonde hair that had slipped out.

She had been travelling over seas and land to help discover herself and the thing that had been inside of her. She knew everything now, the voice in her head, the reason that she was alive. The Angel that had saved her, the legacy that she had left behind, her travels and the mistakes that she had made along the way.

The blonde haired girl knew everything that there was to know about the woman whom she was sharing her body with. Her previous relationships, everything. Sometimes the girl would wish that she didn't know as sometimes she would have dreams of the Angel and her previous life. It wasn't all that pretty. There were things that she didn't want to see. But, there was always the interesting dreams, like the one where she was a ball in Sabertooth, or the one where she was running through the streets chasing a wild boy. Those were the fun ones, the ones that she would tease the angel about later.

During the time that she had been away Aliannah had made a wonderful friend with the person in her head. She would give her advice on certain situations and scold her and laugh with her, it was like having a best friend in her head. But if she told anyone that... They might think of taking her to a mental hospital to get it checked out. That was not something she wanted. After her previous experiences in hospitals the girl wanted to avoid them for a lifetime.

With a quick shake of her head the girl paid more attention to the present. She was stuck in what seemed to be a border that surrounded Rose Garden. Running her hand along the border she frowned, she hadn't told anyone but Anastasia where she was going and nearly vanished off of the face of the Earthland. She wanted to get back to her guild and to the people whom had looked after her. With a sigh the girl hung her head a bit, there weren't really that many people whom she had met, she was always quiet or with her sister. Even when she did make a noise the girl was awkward about as she hadn't talked to people in years. Not that that would be much different now.

Taking her hand she continued to run it along the barrier before she looked up to see where the center point of it was. She needed to get home as she needed to get back to her guild. Pulling her bottom lip in to her mouth she turned towards where the barrier originated form, figure out what was going on and she would be able to go home. The faster she did this the faster she could get home, the faster she could meet with her guild mates. Quickly she started in the direction of the center of the barrier.

Her petite feet padded one in front of the other softly, she didn't make a sound as she moved stealthily though the city. With the angel inside of her her magic was masked, no one suspected anything, not that she was a wizard or that she was strong. Her hood continued to hide her face as she moved but the cape of it slightly trailed behind her, exposing her legs as she walked.

The closer that she got to the origin of the magic the more destruction there was. A little bit off a man stood shaking slightly and muttering that he knew that this was going to happen. With curiosity the girl moved over to him and spoke softly. "Sir, what happened here? My name is Aliannah, maybe I can help."

The man looked at the small frame of the cape and frowned more than he had been before. "I don't think that you'll be able to help young miss, but there is a dark guild here that is trying to take over. I called for some wizards to help protect us but one seemed to have gone missing in the middle of the fight. My name Is Mr. Thorn by the way."

In her head the Angel rolled her eyes, Aliannah knew that the woman had been underestimated over and over again. Always told that she wouldn't be able to do it or that she was so small, like a child. With a small snicker the blonde girl looked back at the destruction and scanned it carefully before turning back to the man. "I'll be able to help, I promise."

With that the girl moved in the direction of the destruction and saw several people who had been beaten, she could only imagine that they were dark mages by the aura that they leaked. A sigh escaped the girl's lips as she continued to walk forwards. Much of the center of the city had been destroyed in fights. "Oh geeze. This is worse than I thought." The girl whispered to the little critter that had been hiding in her hair. She had taken Oya with her on her adventure, but made sure that Moon Moon was at home when she left, there was no way that she was taking that flying disaster with her.

"What a small figure. What are doing here boy?" A male voice behind the girl sounded. It was rough and gravelly. Without turning around the girl knew that she was going to have to face a dark mage.

With a sigh the female turned around and looked at the male behind her. He was bald and bulky. She had tucked her hair back into her cloak, hiding that she was a girl. She wanted the advantage of surprise. The man, too, wore a cloak, but he had his hood down, giving the girl a clear view of what he looked like.

"Why did you sigh boy? Do you thin you are better than me with that small body of yours?" The bald man tried to talk down to the girl and get her riled up. Aliannah didn't say a word back to him.

"What are you too good to talk to me?!" The man was now angry as he started to approach her. Knowing that there was no way out of this the girl began to back up to keep the space between them. She needed to see the best way to defeat the man and how he fought.

Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven] Empty Re: Saving Rose Garden! [Job, Ezra/Allison/Cirven]

Post by DOPPO 28th June 2017, 11:36 am

Most battles went by quickly. If anything, after Ezra's encounter with Ealit, it had been battles with mediocre dark wizards. The redhead came across more and more petty criminals as he wandered through the town, stopping at buildings that caved in to rescue those trapped underneath the rubble. It seemed as if he was more of a first-responder than a professional wizard here to fight the dark wizards. The criminals and mediocre dark wizards came like luggage on his Drake's back, and the rescued citizens would be dropped off at a nearby safe zone, as were the criminals to the authorities. A lot had happened in the last five or ten minutes!

As his drake darted through town, Ezra stood firmly on it's head to track any suspicious scents or magical power. But it seemed as if they came to him instead of him coming to them as Ezra would discover a small figure in a shawl and a much bigger, seemingly stronger man in another shawl. They were both suspicious figures, and Ezra took no time to engage them as he stepped off of his drake and huffed. "'Ere we go. You lads are really loud, y'know? Y'all make it easy for us,
    ha."
Ezra cackled as he would roll up his sleeves and blow into his hands, rubbing them together as if he were warming them up by a fire.

"Ice King's Rifle!" Ezra crowed as an elegant but dangerous rifle materialized between his palms. pointing it at the man. "I reckon this'll go by quickly."

The drake bared its fangs, Ezra prepared his rifle, it seemed as if this would end immediately before the man would crack a smile and slowly clench his fist, as if squeezing something. Ezra hesitated no further to shoot the man into a state of unconsciousness, but would find that he... couldn't pull the trigger? He felt an discomforting pressure build in his body, as if he were slowly going to explode, a heart attack of some kind. A cold sweat glazed his white skin, his body trembling under this alien stress, and his sky blue filled with fury.

"I'm not gonna go down so easily like them others, boy!" The man cautioned before his threatening hand finally balled into a complete fist, and as it did, Ezra would glow into a ball of light before quite literally exploding.

The redhead fell to his knees from the sudden, unexpected attack, droplets of blood flying from his mouth and onto the cold, cracked pavement. It was like one major stroke, his muscles felt torn, and he could only guess that this feeling came from the man ahead of him.

"How'd it feel? Hehaha!" The man continued to snort and cackle as Ezra raised himself to his feet, licking his bruised lip.

"I'll be damned. If you ain't the first to give a good tussle!" Ezra smiled his usual toothy smile, ignoring the pain and continued to aim his rifle. "Drake!" Ezra exclaimed, beckoning his large summon over to his side in a thirsty fit of bloodlust. It hissed and snapped, lunging itself onto the suspicious man.

"What an easy target! As if you can defeat ME, Scarm, which such a lizard!" Scarm, unraveling his shawl, announced as he repeated the same motion as before with a twisted grin splitting his face. And like so, the Drake exploded in the same manner as Ezra as quickly as Scarm had introduced himself, leaving the town to rumble and his Drake to cry.

    Pew!

Through the smoke and dirt that covered the area, bullets of ice shot through the blinding mist and towards Scarm.

"Gyah!" Scarm would grunt as the icy bullets would strike him unknowingly, two on his head, and the others in various places of his torso.

Ezra would click his tongue and smirk, "Bullseye, heh."
