    Job Info:

The blind mage walked cautiously through the unfamiliar terrain, doing his best to listen for any signs of any living creature, be it animal or human. He was here on a Job, of course, though he had been informed another mage would be here as well. He cared little of such things, even if he was alone on a tough job he didn't like working with others. And so, he ignored the fact that there was supposed to be another mage and went searching on his own instead. The assassin was tough even if this job was much higher ranked than he. Or that was what he thought at any rate. The assassin was light on his feet despite the unfamiliarity, though he did trip a few times because of his blindness.

Each step brought him deeper into unfamiliar territory, and while he was cautious he was not afraid. Twigs breaking beneath his feet and roots tripping him up were of little concern, though he did long for his eyesight once more to avoid such small hindrances. As he walked, he did start to notice the sounds of wildlife, though he had yet to encounter any such thing. Strangely enough, he could feel eyes on him, though he did not hear anything near enough to be of any concern. The more he walked, however, the more the feeling grew on him that he was being watched, until he decided to stop. "Open, gate of the Winged Horse Constellation, Pegasus!" was finally uttered as the key was held out before him.

The elegant white-haired spirit appeared him, bowing. "Pegasus. Can you act as my eyes for now, I cannot tell what is watching us but I can sense it. I need your abilities here, or else we might not make it through the job so easily." He said, filling the spirit in. Pegasus made a simple noise that Inaris had come to understand as yes before scanning the forest with his eyes. "I do not see anything, let us keep searching." He finally said, before placing a hand on the man's shoulder to help guide him through the maze that was this wilderness. With each step they took they became increasingly aware of the hard stare of whatever was watching them. The annoyance that Inaris felt only grew, knowing he was being watched and not being able to stop it. As Pegasus guided him through the forest, his only thought was what he would do if he caught whatever was watching them.

Ezra had been relaxing quite often nowadays, and when he worked on jobs, it would often be less challenging ones. That being said, there weren’t many people that came to him or he came to that had a significantly difficult job for him, making him feel like these C and B-class jobs were just busywork. But beggars couldn’t be choosers, Ezra figured. He’d rather go around finding puppies than sitting around and drinking all day.

A man with raven black hair, golden eyes and a beard meandered through the Tetsukazan woodlands and forests with a black, open collar shirt, sandals and cargo pants. “Protect the forest, aye? Simple ‘nuff.” He spoke in his usual southern, raucous voice, an iconic trait many have associated the man with. As he waddled through the forest with a silver flask in his hand, filled with alcoholic contents, presumed to be whiskey of sorts as it was his favorite thing to drink in broad daylight, he began to make his way to the location where he and his job partner would rendezvous for the job. It was a small clearing in a heavily wooded area with several Tetsukazan Oak stumps for sitting and a few flat boulders scattered about, according to his clients.

Ezra had been on Tetsukazu before, but the vast and extensive realm was far too big for Ezra to know it as well as he did the towns of Fiore. So when it came to locating the meeting point, he relied on the alcohol to guide his tipsy self. Or, so he would like to think. Truth be it, he knew where the clearing was and had head straight for it, despite his many detours and playful spirit distracting him through trees asking to be climb and woodland critters begging to be pet. Overall, it was a very furry noon for the adult.

Eventually, Ezra had made it to the rendezvous location without trouble. Comparatively, he moved rather fast and without hassle when he made way through the groves of trees and bushes. His powerful and extensive sense of smell, sight, hearing combined with his inherited superhuman strength and speed made a great combination when foraging or travelling anywhere for that matter. The speed became a normal walk to him, but also didn’t want to wander too long before he got too sidetracked.

The man looked left, then right, then turned all the way around and there was no partner to be seen. His questionable expression descended into a tired, worn face before he sat cross-legged on a large, round stump that was wide enough to support his entire body. Ezra would then take the small flask and stick it between his lips and into his mouth, burp, and lean back on his arms, beholding the clear blue skies above.

“Well ain’t this just a fine day?” He smiled whilst speaking to himself. The woodland winds felt good against his tattooed-covered chest and tickled the nape of his neck. A day out, a job, nature, and a flask of whiskey. Nothing could be better, could it?
