Description: Heatwave is a long curved blade that when removed from the scabbard produces a fine heat to keep the blade sharp and allows it to rip through the air faster than a normal sword.

Water- Water based weapons reduce the base damage this sword deals by half.
Close Range- Obviously to use a sword you need to get in close.

Description: The user snaps the sword back with their wrist and commands the blade to fire by shouting out the phrase "Flash Fire" Launching a fire ball that deals C rank worth of damage out only two meters but does so very rapidly making it hard to dodge. A target hit with the spell goes on to burn for an extra D rank worth of damage on the next post.
Strengths:
Fast Moving- The spell moves in nearly the blink of an eye thanks to its very limited range.
Weaknesses:
Water Armor- Targets in water armor of C rank or higher take no damage from this spell whatsoever.
Wind- Wind spells throw the fire ball aside effortlessly, causing the spell to deal no harm.

Description: This effect wraps the user and the sword in blue fire, dealing no harm to the user. When a foe is struck by the sword they take a B rank spells worth of damage and for the remainder of the abilities effect is outlined in blue light, showing the user where their target is, even if using a movement spell or illusion spell of B rank or lower.
Strengths:
Lining- The ability outlines those hit with the spell in a heatless blue flame that shows the user where their target is so long as they are not under the effect of an A rank or higher movement or illusion effect.
Weaknesses:
Water- Water effects of C rank or higher can douse the outlining flame, rendering the second effect of the sword useless.
Close Range- The user has to get in close to use this ability, putting the user at great risk of injury.
