Lestat * Grim Heresy * Lord of Night

The day was long, rigorous, and finally reaching its end. It was just beginning the evening, around five in the afternoon. Lestat was so beat from completing a mission from the Augurs, that he decided to take a seat at a near by wooden chair, at the local park. The ancient mage, was so preoccupied with relaxing, he wasn't even aware that he was in his normal cursed appearance. His grey skin shimmering in the sunlight, causing others to look in question. He however ignored the stares, and climbed into his seat happily. The job took so long, that the blood thirsty mage actually skipped several meals, and was rather hungry. He pulled out an emergency vial of blood, and poured it into a traveling wine glass. The silver haired mage stirred the glass carefully, as he watched with glee. Just as he was about to press his lips unto the glass, something bumped into the back of his chair. Turning around agitated, Lestat only noticed a child, facing the opposite direction. Confused, he ignored it, and prepared to drink his glass. Lestat began to sip his beverage, when his chair was kicked again. This time hard enough to cause the mage to spill the drink on himself, wasting every drop from the glass. Lestat leaped out of the seat in a rage, turning to face the perpetrator.

He saw the same child, this time facing him, a mischievous grin on his face. "Hey mister! Play hide and seek with us!" The child said boldly to the deadly mage towering above him. Lestat looked down viciously staring at the snot nosed kid, his rage unkindled. He looked behind him to see the child's parents. They were busy snuggling one another in the children's park, too busy to pay attention to their child. "tch....hmm.. Fine child. I'll seek you all out." Lestat said at first irritated, then in a more devious tone as he agreed to the child's game. Lestat watched as the child happily ran to his friends, and informed them all to run as he began counting. The mage pretended to cover his eyes, as he watched each child run to their preferred hiding spot. Five children in all he counted, and snickered. "Fifty five...fifty six..one hundred." The mage skipped to the final number, upon seeing the children all securely hiding away.

Lestat ran to the first child, the one who caused him to spill him meal. He was hiding beneath a picnic table. Like Lightning Lestat was underneath the table, grappling the small child's body. His teeth, sinking into the boy's neck. After draining him completely and gathering some energy, Lestat dropped the boy's small frame. The child's arm poked from beneath the table cloth, as he zoomed to the next. A little girl decided to hide behind a large oak tree. She continued looking over one side, not realizing Lestat popped up from the other. Straitening his fingers, he stabbed his left hand into the girls back, exiting her chest. Her heart in his hand. He ripped it back out, causing he body to fall, and he dropped her heart onto her corpse. He could hear a small heart beating faster and faster, only ten meters in front of him. A small pair of eye appeared through a shrub before him, frightened and panicked. Lestat teleported instantly behind the child, and performed the same technique on him as the girl, laughing silently to himself.

At first he was annoyed, but now he was enjoying himself. He grabbed the child corpse, and dropped it next to the girls. Three down, and two more to go. Lestat remembered another little girl in a bright yellow dress deciding to hide behind some barrels next to the fish and chips shop. He sprinted there quicker than any normal citizen could keep up with. Lestat walked around the building attempting to approach the girl from behind. However to his surprise, she was walking around the building, and moving her location. They met each other's eyes, and she stood in shock for just a second. This was enough time for Lestat to bolt towards the child and stuff his entire fist into her mouth as she opened it. Blood erupted from her nose and eyes, as his fist traveled to the back of her skull. The mage then stood up, causing her feet to lift from the ground. She was still alive, but barely. He then slammed his fist into the ground, while still in her mouth. The child's head exploded every where, behind the small shop. Lestat was on a roll, and only needed one more child. Before leaving, he took the girls corpse, and placed it with the other children behind the tree. He was able to keep the bodies from being discovered, before he was finished. He just needed to find one more.

"AHHH!" A scream from a small child, that was echoed by a few others. Lestat looked over, and saw the final child, gasping as he held the shirt of his friend. The first child Lestat killed, and left under the table. It seems these damn kids cant remain still in their hiding spot. A few adults flipped the table to reveal the corpse, and stood around in shock and horror. Lestat never wanting to leave a job unfinished, decided to go pick up the other three small corpses he left behind the oak tree. Stealthily moving towards the large crowd of gathering people. Lestat launched the bodies into the air, causing them to fall randomly upon the people. "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" A few screamed in unison, while simultaneously, Lestat dashed through the crowed towards the last child. The malicious mage decapitated his head right then and there, while in the middle of the crowd. His head flew into the air, followed by a large spout of blood gushing about three feet above his small body. "Muwahaha!!" Lestat erupted into laughter, as everyone looked onto him in complete terror. The mage openly slew the children, then looked at several of them in the eyes, before vanishing right before them. The mage teleported several meters away from the incident, transforming into his secondary appearance. He then made his way for the closest dock, deciding to leave Magnolia for a while.
