Hera walked through Clover Town, it seemed like a rather peaceful day there. Despite the reason the four mages were there. Fairy Tail had been asked to solve a rather, interesting problem.
A Dark Guild known as "White Hand" was literally terrorizing Fiore, with their robberies and thefts. They had struck almost every major city and now; their Guild Hall had been located, it was somewhere in Clover Town. Apparently, they had to find it; because the only information they gained by intercepting one of their Lacrima crystals and listening to the message was "to meet at the Guild Hall back in Clover" which to Hera was amazing, since Clover Town was one of the few towns with a Wizard's Guild in it. Blue Pegasus. Although, rumor had it that the once proud and legendary Guild would be disbanding soon.
If that was the case, then Fairy Tail could expect a LOT more Job requests to come out of Clover Town in the following days to come.
As they moved through the streets: A girl with long pink hair and a white scarf, a young man dressed dashingly with a long blonde ponytail, a man who had long dark hair also in a ponytail, carrying a sword and, then there was the last one---who was attracting attention. He had robes that only started at his waist; exposing his chest, and he seemed to---glow a bit.
"Takumi can you turn down the glow for christs sake......we're supposed to be meeting up with Miss Zoe, and if White Hand spots us before we do; they may just get rid of all the stolen contraband and claim they're innocent...even if we found their Guild Hall which no one has done before....." she said, as she walked in the center of the group of boys; her arms crossed, hips switching as she did so. "This is her address now....." Hera said as she held up the Job Sheet and then crumpled it up; tossing it into a trash can as the four of them stood in front of a nice place in Clover.
However, the glass was broken on one of the windows in the front; and it was a general mess in the front yard. Furrowing her eyebrow, Hera would look around the yard as a lady popped up in the doorway.
"Um, can I help you all?" she said, a broom in her hand and tears in her eyes. She had been through a lot recently. "Are you?" as she said this, Hera would nod.
"Yep, we're from Fairy Tail." and as she said this, the woman would drop the broom and walk up; grabbing both Edward and Seryth's hands as they looked the toughest. She would drag them up her stairs into her home.
"PLEASE MAKE WHITE HAND PAY FOR THIS, LOOK AT MY HOME!" and as Hera would walk up with Takumi up the stairs and enter the house, she was right. This place was completely ran through. It was terrible. As Hera moved around the room looking for clues, she would see a picture of her family on the wall.
"Oh? You have a husband and kids? Guess they're out of town?" as she said this, the woman would nod.
"Yes, they went up north to Rose Garden. My husband has been trying to save up for a trip there so the boys could enjoy the amusement park with just those 3, you know, Father Son time." she said as she held up the picture, it's glass being slightly broken as she looked endearingly at it. "I don't know how I'm going to explain to him what happened here...." she said as she choked a bit and started crying again silently as Hera picked up the broom she'd dropped from outside.
"You keep at it here, and we'll make sure they pay." she said with a nod and a fist clenched. Eventually, the woman would smile as she looked around the room at all four of them.
"So the rumors are true.....Fairy Tail has returned." she said as she took it all in. "When you all disappeared the world felt a little less...hopeful, less right." she said raising her eyebrows happily as she shoed them on. "Well, go on and get to it. Oh I forgot.....no one knows where their guild is in town but.....one of them dropped this." she held out a bag of completely black gunpowder.
Gunpowder huh? I wonder.....if we tried to sell it, they might stick their heads out to try and buy it back.... she thought to herself as she inspected the bag. "We'll do our best for sure....here." she took it and passed it to Seryth as she would turn and bow to the lady. "Keep an eye on your TV and the news lady, White Hand is going to be destroyed today in town!" Hera said as she was exiting, leaning back into the doorway and yelling. Tapping her way down the steps with bouncing steps; she hopped onto the ground excited. "ALRIGHT! Now to try our best to get their attention.......guess we should go shop to shop and try to sell that stuff?" she would then turn to Edward.
"You have a way with words, why don't you do the talking at the shops?" she said to Edward as she put a hand on her hip. Eventually, they would make their way into Downtown Clover and try to get the rumor flowing that someone was selling Gunpowder in town.

As Edward Von Aurence, a priest of the Church of Lorelei and a member of the independent guild, Fairy Tail, trailed behind the others, Edward's thoughts wandered back to the conversation that he held with the archbishops of the Church. It was not like this was the first time that he had gotten into trouble like this with the higher-ups within the Church of Lorelei since he had always put an emphasis on helping and protecting people. At times, he had gotten hurt because of his desire to help people either through a bit of recklessness on his own end or he spared an enemy who later abused his kindness. This was the first time, though, his loyalty to the Church of Lorelei and Lorelei herself had been questioned by anyone.
Edward let out a somewhat depressed sigh and looked up at the sky above which was a beautiful blue. The sun was shining. The birds were singing. It was no time for him to be depressed. He put his hands on his face and slapped his cheeks a few time. Edward clasped his palms together and uttered a quick prayer to himself, "I have been bestowed with a blessing of a beautiful day! I give my thanks to you, Lorelei!" He didn't care if the Church questioned him a bit. Edward was completely loyal to both the Church of Lorelei and Lorelei which was a fact that would never change. He lifted his head when the group had stopped before a distressed woman and he was dragged in the burglarized home of a Clover Town. So it seemed this time his orders from The Church of Lorelei and the job he had taken on with Fairy Tail coincided at this point in time which was a sort of relief to him.
"Hera is right, Madame Zoe." Edward Von Aurence reached his hand forward and touched the broken picture frame. A somewhat dim golden light engulfed the frame and quickly vanished. The broken glass on the frame was fixed. "We will find where those scoundrels have scurried off to with your precious item so make sure not to lose heart. You wouldn't want to greet your husband and your children with such a sad and depressed expression on your beautiful face." He finished and walked out of the building behind Hera. It was a bit odd doing this sort of job since a majority of his work for the Church of Lorelei was mainly supportive work and reconstructive work. But it didn't mean Edward had zero experience dealing combat situation. He just was not a fan of using violence to solve problems.
However, there was another issue that he had to deal with before dealing with in regards to the dark guild. He turned his head to the slightly glowing young man, Takumi. "Your name was Takumi, correct? I do not want to be rude. But do you have any other clothing that you can change into? If not, I do mind paying for a few articles of clothing for you to wear either. Not only is not appropriate attire, there is the issue you might catch a cold if rains outside. Besides... It is also drawing a bit of unwanted attention." Edward said before looked over at Hera. He would have given her the same lecture, but he knew it wouldn't do too much good. The report given to him by the Church of Lorelei flashed into his head for a moment regarding Hera and most of the Fairy Tail guild. If he had said the wrong to her, things could get very heated very fast and that wouldn't be good for the innocent civilians of Oak Town. Of course, Edward Von Aurence didn't blame Hera completely for her type of magic. It was only natural that fire magic wasn't very controllable and highly destructive. "Also... Let's keep the destruction to a minimum everyone while we are working... Since that is gunpowder, we really need you to be careful when we find their hideout, Hera. If you were to go in there recklessly, we might destroy Madame Zoe's precious item or we could cause a ton of damage to the town. But I do mind talking to the shopkeepers." He really did not understand why Hera wanted him to talk to the shopkeepers, but he had no problem with doing that in the slightest. He looked around and waited for Hera to take the lead in regards to which shop they went into first for their investigation. It was then that he realized he had been extremely rude. "I am quite sorry! We have not been formerly introduced, have we? I am Edward Von Aurence, a humble priest of the Church of Lorelei."

It seemed that Seryth had been called out of retirement by none other than Hera herself in a job, his talents needed to cover a vital role in the team. The job had brought him back to a familiar locale from his past. Clover Town, familiar enough to the young adult that had traveled throughout both Fiore and Earthland in his adolescence in the purpose of maiming and assassination - something his skill set was apt to deal with in comparison to most others, after all the young adult had been granted a prestigious position which had allowed him to learn the 'clan secret' magic but that was a topic for another time. Seryth had always liked the town, it was a peaceful place most of the time. As the group came together and introductions were in order, Seryth introduced himself. "Greetings, all. I am Seryth, the heir of Clan Essora. I am a former assassin of some measurable skill back in the day, but it seems now that my unique skills are being put to use for other, much more noble, purposes. I am glad, I really didn't like my previous job."
At the moment, he was noticeably bereft of magic though he was an assassin and so it was easy enough to conceal such things. One such way was simply not to use magic which was the young adult's intents at the moment, the others with him at the moment had more than enough magic in spades, Seryth would only cast if needed. He had to think about the team present - the priest, the dragon slayer, the god-possessed, and the assassin. When one came to it in the end, they didn't make a bad team at all. Each had their own individual strengths which could be applied when necessary to cover for each other in a unique way. Enough about others, they probably wondered who this kid was. Standing tall at six foot high, Seryth was a young man with an attractive appearance. His long hair of midnight hue was tied back into a loose ponytail with a red cord, spiked bangs covering his forehead and framed his handsome countenance. Eyes the color of coal belie his keen wit. Seryth was well-built due to a life of training with the sword or polearm, and kept himself fit by continuing this training when he can. He tended to wear a white dress shirt with a red tie and black dress slacks with dress shoes. At this time, he is seen wearing a black cloak with golden trim.
"I agree with Hera, we should approach this as inconspicuous as possible. We don't want to alert our quarry that we are on to them before we can conduct the mission. Take my advice, I am a former assassin after all." ranted the italian man in a thick italian accent, a playful smile playing on his handsome countenance. By this time they had come upon the house, ramshackle as it was. For the moment, Seryth slid into observer mod and let Hera and Edward take to the talking. At the way the glass had broken, a fight had broke out inside the house. Seryth zoomed in with forensic viewing, observing the panes and shards of glass. Interestingly, he had calculated in his mind the exact level of pressure needed to convex the glass and have it land that way. "Boss, the glass was intentionally broken by an intentional heavy blow of I'd say around six hundred PSI. Definitely the work of our targets, I'd say. Also, when we go check out with the merchants, I'll head into the back row to ensure the merchant doesn't get away from us."
With that, he would leave the rest of the conversation to others, and the dealing of the shopping to Ed of course. Seryth could talk shop, but he was no diplomat - no, he was much more of a fast-talker personally. Still, Seryth had a role to play once they found out the lead they were seeking, and so when the others approached the merchant row, Seryth had slipped off to ensure the merchants couldn't use a back route to escape should he recognize the sack. It was one of the oldest tricks in the book but still effective if you didn't have a spotter like Seryth with you. Well, no matter what there would be no issues today. Seryth now spent his time casually perusing a nearby news stand, but maintained his full perception on the alleyway leading from the back of merchant row. Rule one about being a spotter, never look out of place, and with how ordinary Seryth could look, he certainly did not suffer on that front, One thing though, he had to wonder what the others were doing at this moment in time.

Takumi did not appreciate Hera telling him to turn down the glow, or the priest telling him to cover up. "Hera, you know I can't help the glow, I'm the sun god, it's not like I can turn off the glow from the sun. As for you, priest, my clothing is fine. Besides, it's not like it's going to hinder my movement in any way. You don't need to pay for more clothes, and regardless of if i'm wearing proper clothes or not, the moment it starts to rain, I will get sick. I'm the SUN god, rain will wash me out no matter what."That was his response to the comments made by Hera and Edward, and after it had been made clear that he wasn't going to listen, he turned away, when the tall italian man interjected. He too, seemed to think Takumi would jeapordize the stealth of the mission, to which he snorted.
"Are you guys forgetting Fairy Tail doesn't exactly do stealth 99% of the time? I know it might be better for the mission, but seriously, don't tell me how to do a job. Remember, I know how dark guilds work as well as anybody, I was forced to be a dark mage for all of my teenage years. If these guys are really smuggling gunpowder, I don't think stealth will help. They will have high security, and even if I could turn off my glow, the matter remains that at least half of us are more than likely not capable of the stealth required to sneak past guards and such."
Takumi was not thrilled that they seemed to be telling him what to do, especially since two of his three current companions were lower ranked mages than he was. His exceed, also beside him, snorted as well, knowing that, although Takumi was far from subtle, he knew what he was doing. Coal, like her master, wasn't a subtle creature, but she did indeed understand what he wastrying to say.
"Takumi is right, guys. Now he may not be a subtle person, but he knows what he is doing. Remember, if he wasn't special, he never would have become a god. Think about it. The 8 gods he hosted when he was human chose him for a reason. So if he says no to something, he usually has a reason for doing so. I mean, he even hosted Ares himself, who is the GOD OF WAR. That counts for something, no?"
As Coal went on a slightly defensive rant about her master, her blood-red eyes scanned each and every one of the members of the party. Though they were few, each would certainly bring unique properties to the table. Takumi, representation of the sun and light, but also an incarnation of a demon at the same time, Hera, with her fire and wind magic, the priest, whose abilities were yet unknown, and the mysterious Seryth, who no doubt had his own unique powers. Coal herself was also a unique being in the group, with her lightning magic that matched what Takumi once was. Takumi himself was sulking a bit, though it looked a bit like a child pouting due to his short stature. He couldn't prevent his line tattoos from glowing any more than Hera could stop herself from burning down entire buildings with her magic. Takumi played around with his magical weapon as they began, twirling it between his fingers, currently in gun mode. Sakura-no-hana, a rather powerful weapon, was capable of dissolving into thousands of razor-sharp cherry blossom petals to overwhelm an enemy with their numbers, and Takumi almost always kept it nearby in case he needed it. Contrary to the other's predictions, it was not Takumi himself that drew attention, but his conpanion, Coal the exceed. She was fairly unusual for an exceed, with her jet black fur and blood red eyes, so people, of course, were curious about her.
Takumi shooed them away as Hera and Edward would no doubt do most the talking, closing his eyes momentarily. He had a feeling this wasn't going to be easy, even with four mages of decent strength. Hera, he knew, was strong, but would be limited by her own magic, since gunpowder would be involved here. The other two mages weren't quite as high-ranked as he was, and he didn't know their abilities, so he couldn't judge how much they would help. That left Takumi, who was also somewhat limited by this job, as his magic involved large amounts of fire as well. But he was not quite as limited as Hera, for his magic had other aspects to it, some involving music, some archery, some just light in general. As the incarnation of Apollo, he was god of many things, and knew very well that, although it limited him somewhat, also gave him a variety of things he could do.

As the incarnation of Apollo, he was god of many things, and knew very well that, although it limited him somewhat, also gave him a variety of things he could do.

"Fairy Tail is a guild of mages that does what it has to do." Hera said, raising an eyebrow at Takumi as they left a merchants shop who said he'd never seen that kind of powder before. "Lamia Scale doesn't say 'if it's not a job on the high seas we don't take it', there are hundreds of espionage jobs that Fairy Tail is involved in all around the world, some of our mages are undercover even in other guilds." she informed him of things that he should know. The fact that Fairy Tail was known as a guild that accomplished their goals with fancy explosions made them great spies since no one would expect it out of them. Double agents were easy to make in the Guild. "Don't stereotype your own Guild, we're capable of anything. Spying, direct battle, deciphering ancient riddles....Fairy Tail is the guild of magical secrets."
Hera herself was an excellent spy. She had been through a lot to get to this point as a mage. Although she actually
"You can do it...by lowering your magic power." she said, as one of the strongest mages on the planet; she knew how magic worked. "If you try to lower your power, the tattoos on your body should stop glowing so much.......if not, then you won't ever be able to be a good spy or remain hidden if you need too right? What if someone's after you in the dark who's more powerful than you after all!" she said, raising a finger matter of factly and blushing; she worried about Takumi like a brother after all.
In the background, as they walked; Coal was flailing and ranting on and on about Takumi. Causing Hera to facepalm. This was supposed to be a stealth mission.
"NO ONE IS SPECIAL, JUST CAN IT COAL, THIS ISN'T A FIELD TRIP TO SHOW OFF OUR ABILITIES!!!" Hera got fired up and turned around. Her father had always behaved as a superstar, tried to be special all the time. It's what got him killed. "WE'RE ALL JUST PEOPLE!!! TAKUMI ISN'T THE FIRST MORTAL TO BECOME A GOD, EVER HEARD THE STORY OF HERCULES?! AND HE WON'T BE THE LAST!!! HE'S NOT SPECIAL, I'M NOT SPECIAL, NONE OF US ARE!!! BEING SPECIAL WILL JUST END UP GETTING ONE OF US HURT, AND I'LL BE DAMNED IF I LET ANYTHING HAPPEN TO THE PEOPLE I LOVE....TO EDWARD, TAKUMI, YOU, OR SERYTH BECAUSE HE WANTS TO WALK THROUGH TOWN SHIRTLESS AND GLOWING!!!!! NOW LET'S JUST DO OUR DAMN JOBS!!!" Hera literally fumed, turning around and not saying anything else.
They came upon another shop. This one was a store that specialized in Hunting equipment. Hera still walked with her arms crossed, a serious look on her face as Seryth took on the role of the backup chase and hid out of view of the shop; but not to far at a news stand. Damn he blended in good. This made her crack a smile as she nodded to Edward to follow her in. When the entered the shop, it was pretty busy with people here and there. Some people waved at Edward and Hera, noticing them as mages of Fairy Tail instantly; she waved back and then eventually walked up to the counter and leaned on it.
"Hey there, I was wondering if you could take a look at this stuff...." she said putting the gunpowder on the counter. The merchant would pick up the bag and shake his head, sighing to himself. He explained that while they sold only hunting gear and equipment for camping; they were pressured by a dark guild recently, named White Hand to try and get this stuff on the shelves here.
"They wanted me to sell it...and give them more than fifty percent of the profits....letting me keep only 100j a month no matter how much of it I sold....I told them to beat it. Naturally; they broke in and tore this place up a few times." he looked like he got a headache just thinking about it as he rubbed his head. "They usually pop in and out of here to fuck with me, so if you wait around you might get luck-------there's one of them in the shop now." he cut himself off as he nodded to a group of people both men and women who seemed to notice Hera and Edward talking to the merchant. The moment he nodded at them and they turned around; it was all she wrote.
Spells literally erupted from everywhere as Hera dove on top of a mother who was shopping with her kids for tents nearby in the store. She pulled them to the ground just as a huge blast of flames came from one of them. She would look around as another one of them would stomp hard on the ground; causing Earth Magic to ripple through the entire shop; windows exploding from inside as people on the streets stopped and caused a huge circle to form around the shop in a huge crowd. The earthquake inside was hard to stand in; but not for Hera as she literally stood up and balled up her fists as people went running from the shop back into the streets.
The owner of the shop inched towards the door and then made a break for it. One of their fire mages spotted him, and raised an open palm towards him. Thinking quickly, Hera would jump in front of the blast since he was carrying gunpowder. With a massive inhale like Kirby, the flames would whip around unnaturally and whirl into Hera's mouth as she chewed on the flames ate em down. They literally stopped firing spells and looked around unsure of what they'd just seen. Only one of them seemed to know what it was.
"Dragon Slayer magic....that's impossible." he said as he literally backed away from her a bit. It was then that he noticed the trail of gunpowder heading out of the door from the man who'd ran away. Snapping his fingers at it, the trail would ignite and zip out the door into the city as a stream of flames on the ground.
The man was running, unaware that he was leaking gunpowder. As flames literally began to follow him on the ground, lighting the black sand as he ran. It was nearing him now, and Hera would only hope that Seryth or Takumi would smack the bag out of his hand somehow; or do something to save him from exploding once the flames zipped up the trail and reached him. On the inside of the shop; the others would form a huge circle around Edward and Hera.
One of them would freak out and make a break for it. Screaming that he was "headed for the Guild Hall to get backup!" as he bolted, literally waving his hand as the wood moved out of his way as an Earth Mage. The wall would close behind him, leaving Edward and Hera back to back and surrounded.
"Looks like the odds are against us...." she said, smiling and punching her hand into a fist like a UFC fighter getting ready for battle. "Hope that guy forgives us for this...but his shop is about to get wrecked!" Hera knew that the guild would pay for it, but if it meant saving that guys life and teaching these guys a lesson it was worth it. One came running at Hera as she would spin and kick right forward; her strength surprising them as he literally exploded out of the shop; bouncing on the ground in the street outside and slamming into a fountain; completely knocked out with one kick. Hera held her leg in the air briefly after the kick; lowering it and signaling the others to come on. They obliged and charged both Hera and Edward screaming at the top of their lungs and charging Earth and Fire Magic at them.
As they unleashed barrages of magic; Hera inhaled again as she sidestepped the Earth Magic best she could and inhaled all of the fire magic that went whooshing around in the air. Causing them to start shouting at one another to stop trying to hit her directly with it and blow up the shop.
"Hehehehe, once he makes it back to the Guild you guys are done...White Hand won't lose to Fairy Tail!" one of them gloated as he waved his hand, causing a tree from outside to stretch it's branches unnaturally; as they exploded through walls and tried to slap at Hera and Edward. Hera leaped out of the way, and could only hope Ed would do the same as there were about ten of these guys. She could take them all out now but...there's no telling how much of Clover Town would go up in the explosions if she really did start using her magic.

'Lorelei... Lorelei... My benevolent God whose limitless love and wisdom know no bounds. I, Edward Von Aurence, your humble servant ask of you to grant me the strength to remain composed from hearing this young man's and this feline's speech of pride. Please forgive me in the rash and unjust judgment of Takumi and Coal. Please forgive me for the thoughts I allowed to fill my head.' Edward Von Aurence clasped his hands together and muttered a quiet prayer.
In regards of describing the feline and the two males in the group, Edward Von Aurence had the pleasure of meeting for the first time, a variation of expressions and terms went through the mind of the golden blonde priest. However, there were two words that he would use to describe his first impression of them. These two terms were interesting and haughty. He had found the raven-haired male named Seryth Essora quite interesting since had addressed himself as a former assassin. Edward wondered if Seryth still killed people or was completely reformed. But he knew it wasn't the time nor the place to learn Seryth's past and his current actions. At the end of his silent prayer, Edward heard Hera's lecture to Takumi.
There was one particular or unusual thing Edward Von Aurence had noticed about the lecture Hera had given to Takumi and his talking feline, Coal, which was the heated anger in her tone. It was not like Edward disagreed with the words Hera spoke. The pink-haired dragon slayer was correct about the accounts of mere mortals ascending to godhood being quite commonplace within the world. There was something more behind Hera's anger toward Takumi's words, but he knew it wasn't the time nor place to inquire what had happened.
After receiving Hera's signal accompany or follow her, Edward Von Aurence went with the curvaceous pink-haired dragon slayer into the first store. However, Edward quickly surveyed the position each person within the group had taken under Hera's bold and direct leadership before he entered with Hera. He noticed how everyone seemed to react happily toward seeing Hera was a member of Fairy Tail, but that also lead to another problem. If people were able to instantly realize Hera was a member of the Fairy Tail guild, it was possible the dark mages could recognize her as well. But Edward wasn't too worried about Hera being in danger since he could tell she was used to combat situations. No, he was a bit worried about the innocent people in the store being caught up in the situation.
It was then that his worries became reality as few members of the organization known as White Hand attacked both the shop and the owner of the shop with their magic. His body hit the ground as he rocked about by the earthquake produced by magic. However, Edward's concern was not for himself at the moment. It was for the innocent bystanders inside and outside of the shop. He turned his head and saw that Hera had saved a mother and her children that were shopping in the store. Edward breathed a sigh of relief of as he forced himself to his feet. At that moment, Edward realized that he and Hera were surrounded by the various members of the dark guild on all sides. He backed up a bit before he felt his back brush against Hera's.
Edward closed his eyes for a moment before he looked at all of the members of the White Hand. "My name is Edward Von Aurence! I am a priest from the Church of Lorelei!" He shouted at them all but there was no anger in his tone. "I have lived my life believing that there is good within the hearts of others. I am sure a number of you have been hurt by society or hurt by others. You are attempting to relieve the pain you have received by harming others, but I want you to know that only leads to more pain and suffering. If you were to lay down your weapons, I am sure that we can reach an understanding. I believe in you." He attempted to walk toward them with his arms open until the barrage of attacks rendered his effort useless. It was then he was saved from the fire by Hera's effort.
It seemed that there was no way to avoid a fight at this point. This realization caused the blonde haired priest's heart to cry out in pain, but he knew he had a duty to the people of this town along with the dark guild. He had to teach them a lesson and hopefully show the members of the dark guild the error of their ways. As he resolved himself, one of the enemy wizards waved his hand affecting the branch outside and caused the branch to attempt to come into the building. Edward was barely able to dodge the branch by jumping back a bit. The right sleeve of his priest outfit was slightly torn by the branch and he was lightly wounded by it. It became even more obvious to him the difference in power between him and members of White Hand. It really didn't matter though since his magic was mainly supportive nature.
"Hera... I won't be able to help much in terms of actual fighting." Edward admitted. "But we can still keep the scale of damage quite low. Do you have any spells that hit a small area of effect? I hate to completely destroy the shop, but it is a loss that can't be avoided at this point." A golden light erupted from his body and hit those around him. A few members of White Hand yelped in pain a little bit due to the light's effects. The light held the opposite effect for Edward and his allies. It didn't harm, but it would assist in healing any wounds they had on their body. Even the cut on Edward's body had started to heal from the light's effects. He closed his eyes and focused his mind. 'Angelic Blessing.' A golden light engulfed Hera's body and her once bright red flames became a bright gold and were imbued with bits of Edward's holy power. The next spell used by Hera would end up having a small amount of extra power but that was not the true ability of Edward's spell. It was the fact that the area of effect of Hera's next spell would be amplified quite a bit compared to usual.

- Spells Used Or In Effect:
Name:
Heaven's Blessing
Rank:
D
Type:
Holy, Buff, Supportive
Duration:
Instant
Cooldown:
Two Posts
Description:
By closing his eyes and focusing his mind, Edward Von Aurence is capable of calling forth a greater amount of holy energy from his body. Edward is then capable of using this additional holy energy to augment his own spells or bestow the holy energy to an ally so they may empower their spells. While the holy power does increase the damage output or strength of the spells, the increased amount is minuscule being only twenty-five percent of the spell's rank. It also increases another aspect of the spell however this secondary aspect must be decided by Edward before he uses the spell or bestows the energy to another individual. The first aspect Edward may increase with this spell is the distance travels or total range which is fifteen meters. The second aspect that he can change is the speed which the spell travels which an increase by five meters per second. The third aspect is the total area of effect which can be increased by fifteen meters. Edward is only able to choose from these effects when using the spell but the increase is damage or effectively along with the mixture of holy energy to the individual's spells are constant effects. Edward is only capable of casting this spell on an ally as long as they are within a fifteen-meter radius around him.

Re: Fairy Tail, Detectives for a Day!
Hera seemed to have an issue with those whose claim to fame was that they were different - something that Seryth tended to agree with generally. Those who thought themselves special (as in above others) were only going to bring trouble upon themselves whether through one way or another. In the end, Karma was a bitch, though it wasn't his business right now. The lilting sun overcast the merchant square as the group of them had now gone by several stalls and open shops in search of the strange origins of the pouch of gunpowder - though to be honest, Seryth could probably tell Hera more about it than she could learn here as it was a special product of the clan among other vile machinations such as poison. If anything, Seryth respected the leadership being presented by Hera and so said nothing for the moment, simply keeping out of sight and out of mind for now. The paper he currently held in his hand was one dealing with events in the town itself - a minor news publication but if Seryth knew anything about sleuthing, it was that these generally provided one or two solid leads though it took some doing to sift out these leads. And so, as Hera and Edward approached the survival shoppe, Seryth picked through the articles presented upon the paper and found one interesting article that, upon further scrutiny, provided a lead that Seryth had been looking for. He kept the paper presented in-front of him, but was now fully focused on the target in observation.
Seryth immediately noticed the strange group of -obvious wizards- enter the shop and was about to follow them for an ambush, however a plan came to him. Knowing Hera, she would do what she did and it would cause at least one of them to flee at which point Seryth was going to be ready to shadow them. And so, the event began to unravel as first, the ship owner fled in egress from the scene - though almost comically, he didn't notice the gunpowder spilling from the pouch in his grasp. If his plan was to work, he couldn't directly help this man - and so when the owner passed by he simply stepped in the trail of the falling gunpowder and then back in such a way that the fizzling spark broke up at the stall and caused some minor fire damage. Using this as a cover, Seryth began patting down his coat, while yelling in his sexy italian voice, "Bollocks! I've caught on fire!" as a ruse, using it as a reason to 'accidentally' collide with the dark wizard while trying to pat himself out. Using this as an opportunity, he 'attached' a small sphere to the dark wizard, the little ball clenching onto his garment with two little pincers. Finally, he depressed what seemed to be a button as an eye opened on the outside, the man rushing off to whatever destination was planned as a reconnoiter. Only problem with this was that Seryth was a sly mother-fucker.
Folding up his newspaper, Seryth quickly checked up on the merchant to ensure he was alive before heading back into the scene - most likely just as it was being wrapped up, though perhaps Seryth would get the chance to enter the fray of the battle. In the off-chance that Seryth was allowed to do his thing, he would be quick about returning to the shop. Immediately, as Seryth was coming upon the scene, he noticed he was behind an Earth Wizard of sorts. Well, that guy had been dumb in standing there, and now he was about to find out why. As Seryth came flying in, an electric discharge of plasma was oozing from his hand as it slammed into the back of the wizard, throwing him to the ground with a bad burn on his back. "Plasmic Combustion....Now, fall." spoke Seryth in his sexy italian accent, though seemingly in a serious tone now.
Seryth had just revealed his own magic to the other two - unknowing where Takumi was in this as of yet. Apparently, from appearances, Seryth could both manifest and manipulate this strange red electric napalm-like semi-gas matter known as Plasma. It's touch didn't even seem to effect him in the slightest, though that other wizard had some pretty intense burns on his back. From this, they would get a window into his life merely that his magic was highly deadly to whoever it touched. From this, much could be gleaned but Seryth trusted his companions not to reveal his secrets for the moment. At the moment he released the plasma, his magical energy spiked up from nothingness for just a moment before returning to nothing. If nothing else, Seryth was an expert at hiding everything though unfortunately he couldn't hide his magic aura permanently yet. Seems even Seryth wasn't done learning, though while he had tons of experience, Seryth lacked real power to back it up. Now that the goons were focused on Seryth, Hera and Takumi had leave to get in a sneak attack and possibly end this fight.
If the fight did continue despite the advantage which Seryth had afforded, he would continue to use his plasma-based powers for the benefit of the team - preparing to plant two plasma bombs at the shop entrance - forming a spheroid bomb in each hand before implanting them in the doorway on either side, in case the other wizard had gotten his backup before the scuffle was finished. Should the fight be finished as he intended, Seryth revealed a small round golden ball, almost like a bell in shape, with one large eye, a mouth, two dragon-like golden metal wings, and a long tail with a plume of gold on the end. Opening it's eye, the creature would show the vision that it's 'child' who had been attached to the runaway was now displaying. "We should head on with continuing our mission now that we've discovered the White Hand's guild hall. Timcanpy, show us the way." He said, the creature flapping up to flight and showing the party the way to the guild hall, should all come to pass as Seryth had hoped it would. The team could formulate a plan once they were on their way to the destination. Thanks to Timcanpy, they would also know if the White Hand planned to ambush them as well.

Re: Fairy Tail, Detectives for a Day!
Takumi's response to Edward was simple. "I always get sick while it rains, though it will not kill me." was all he said, before turning away, not about to follow orders from some weird priest. As they entered the shop, he sighed, rolling his eyes at the other's responses, especially Hera's. "Hera, I really don't care what happens to me. You are aware I am immortal, so even if I die I will come back, right? Anyways, I don't have many reasons for living anyhow. I'm also going to point out even if I can't come back, Yazuki can revive me pretty easily." He said, glaring at the girl with golden eyes narrowed. For such a small man, he sure could look ferocious when he felt like it. Hands on his hips, he was about to start yelling at Edward again, when they were attacked. Spells flew all over the place, and Takumi did his best to shield the patrons of the shop. When the spells stopped flying for a second, Takumi began shooting with the expert aim of a true marksman, aiming for nonfatal but still debilitating wounds for their enemies.
The gun shot off a quick round of shots before Takumi had to duck behind a shelf to avoid being blasted in the face with magic. He was glowing brighter than ever, his golden eyes and lines tattoos such a bright gold it was almost blinding to look at. His exceed, who had wisely brought sunglasses for when Takumi's power acted up, stood besides her master, waiting for an opportunity to use one of her lightning spells that would surely knock the enemy flat. The next time Takumi emerged, he shot at the specific mage he had been targeting, who seemed to be rather powerful and may pose a challenge for the two lower ranked mages. Hera's magic of course, was ineffective in here, with that gunpowder in the way. Takumi's magic was also largely ineffective, but he would do his best to not be a burden. The next thing he would do, however, would be rather difficult to pull off, but very worth it.
"Cherry Blossom Whirlwind!" he shouted as he dropped the gun, which dissolved into thousands of razor-sharp petals. Takumi would have to control these very carefully to avoid shredding his allies or any innocent bystanders, but these petals were known for shredding enemies pretty well, so it was worth it. The petals would swirl through the air, converging on their enemies and swamping them in pink. The petals wouldn't take long to cover the weakest two mages Takumi could see in hundreds of tiny cuts, effectively stopping any plans the two may have had. Unfortunately, it did not quite take the other four mages they were fighting out of the running, as those were more powerful than their now badly shredded comrades.
The four more powerful mages of the six who had attacked seemed to be bleeding from plenty of cuts, but were still standing as they faced off against them, though Seryth seemed to have done a good job of neatly flooring one of them as Takumi had attempted to shred the others with his petals. His exceed, next to him, saw her chance and launched snakes made of electricity at the most powerful one she could find, which would wrap around him, not restricting his movement but doing a great deal of damage to him over the next little while. The snakes were handy, and would take care of that mage, leaving the remaining two left. Takumi's petal would swirl through the air once more, all of them now converging on the two enemy mages, and probably taking them out, though they shouldn't stick around to find out. "Come on guys! Let's go before more of them show up, we need to find their guild hall!" he would yell, looking at Hera before gesturing at Edward to follow Seryth, who seemed to know what he was doing. Takumi himself would be right behind Seryth as they would leave, looking back to make sure Hera and Edward were alright. They appeared to be fine, so Takumi wasn't too concerned. Coal appeared to have taken a minor spell to the shoulder, which seemed to be slightly burnt, filling the air with the acrid stench of burning fur. Takumi was almost distracted by Seryth's voice, but shook his head to clear it and continued on, annoyed that he would ever let himself be distracted. His tattoos were glowing less violently now, but were still glowing as he followed Seryth, probably looking like the world's largest glow lamp.
"Takumi, I may not be able to carry you if I need to with this burn on my shoulder." Coal said as she looked at her master, who appeared to be somewhat conflicted. She didn't know what he was thinking, but this might help bring him back to focus. Takumi heard Coal's words and stiffened slightly. These mages had hurt Coal, and they were going to pay for that. He would burn every single one of them to the ground if he had to, they couldn't keep hurting people.

Re: Fairy Tail, Detectives for a Day!
Hera would smirk as one of the goons came rushing in, she would lean her back against Ed's gently; swaying him to the side as she would deliver a crushing right hand to him. Her black and gold kung fu robes flaring up with momentum as he literally plummeted into the basement of the shop; the floor shattering beneath them.
"SHE'S SOME KIND OF MONSTER?!" they yelled as they literally began to pepper them with Fire spells that would whirl around Edward and Hera at the sound of an inhaling noise; the flames literally spun around them like an X-Men movie harmlessly; wrapping and whipping up into Hera's mouth with a loud hiss! as she wiped her mouth; breathing smoke.
Punching her hand into a fist; she would smile at the two guys and begin walking towards them as smoke came out of her nose. They let out yells at one another; and then the Earth Mage among them stepped forward, shoving the other two aside. Raising a hand, as Hera stopped and readied herself for an attack; that never came.
What did come however, was an awesome image of Seryth flying literally out of nowhere. His right hand was leaking some crazy powerful red magic. All she could do was watch him make contact with the guys back; who flayed out like a pancake in an awesome slow-mo as a plasma like noise filled the air; twisting around him and exploding as Seryth turned towards the remaining two fire mages; hand leaking the crazy plasma like energy as they looked at one another...and then made a break for it. As Hera blushed a little bit at Seryth's entrance as the goons ran off before erupting into laughter and roasting them.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA, THAT'S RIGHT RUN FOR IT YOU BUMS!!! FAIRY TAIL IS HERE!" she said as she flexed, and grabbed onto her muscle with her other arm. Rolling her shoulder a bit as Takumi literally comboed the shit out of the other two guys running away with a dazzling display of his magical gun; that literally transformed into Rose Petals and swirled around the one of the guys and lifted him up; slamming him around and slicing him good. Takumi's Exceed pursued the other one and zapped at him with a lightning spell as he ran, making him run even faster. "HAHAHA, get em Coal!" Hera laughed as she walked up; putting her hands on her hips as Edward and Seryth would likely join her.
As Seryth explained what this...golden snitch looking thing was, it flapped it's wings. It had a really cute name too. As it took off, Seryth explained that he'd placed a tracer on one of the White Hand members earlier. The little ball bat thingy opened it's eye and through it; they could actually watch like a T.V. As they stood around and watched; they saw him going into Clover Town's museum. Even though it was closed.
Nodding to the group; she would jog up ahead to the large building and look up the gigantic white steps too the building. Keeping stolen items in a museum...how funny. she thought of White Hand's location as she literally shook her head. Walking into the museum, she realized it was empty as hell. Although it was closed. They footsteps would echo around; as statues, rare old weapons, ancient religious relics, and manuscripts and scrolls were everywhere.
Large white pillars inbetween each item, which was held in a glass case of course. From out of nowhere, about twenty people stepped out. All of them were in various different clothing and literally all of them had their Guild Crest. A symbol of a "Hand" somewhere on their body, all in different colors not just white. Their guild was here a lot of their mages anyway.
"You're fools to come here Fairy Tail, this is just where we keep all the items we take from all around Fiore, our Guild Hall is somewhere else entirely." as he said this, he would open his arms as they would all raise guns at them as a few of them raised their arms and began to power up all different kinds of magics in different hand formations. "But the boss can't just let our main warehouse go down....after it took so long securing it." Hera knew that there was a hidden room somewhere in here that the people of Clover Town knew nothing about; but where. Clover Museum was huge.
"No one has to get hurt if you jus---" a gunshot rang out, as one of them held a smoking gun, laughing. Hera however, held a bullet between her fingers. As the guy literally stopped laughing, the smoke of his gun rising in front of his shocked face. The bullet between her fingers would literally melt away as she got pissed off. "Well then.....go ahead open fire!" she dared them as she started walking forward, more of an angry march. They quickly panicked as the guy from before told them to do exactly what Hera had said.
As they fired with a bunch of gunshots however, Hera would merely just power up as heatwaves in the air melted the bullets long before they got to her; and began to melt the guns in their hands; causing them to glow orange hot and drop their weapons. As the actual stone pillars began to melt away, Hera would stop increasing the heat in the area; as she got near the group. Now weaponless, she continued her march of a walk towards them as one came forward. She delivered a backhand from hell that sent him soaring through a wall; outside into the streets.
The rest of the group stared through the crumbled section of the wall that they could now see outside in in disbelief as Hera would warn everyone else to stand back.
"There's a hidden room where they're keeping all the stuff we're after...." Hera would then raise a fist as golden flames would erupt in a noise like a grenade exploding. As the golden flames wrapped around her fist, they were so hot that they literally were whistling in the air like a teapot. Not to mention they had a holy "choir" noise effect to them. "Thank's Ed, now you bastards are in for it!!!" as Hera would bend her knees, she would literally leap up into the rafters as a few of them would aim their spells up at her. However, she stood on a chandelier way up above. Most of the spells missed, but one actually hit the chandelier and sent it falling downward; along with Hera; who had her own spell now ready, her fist practically an inferno of golden flames now that literally had the sound of angels singing whirling from it. Whatever the hell magic Edward had hit her with, it was really cool.
Fire Dragon's Angelic FIST!!! she said as both the chandelier hit the ground; and she did, throwing her fist downward as it fell onto the huge group of White Hand mages with a noise like a bomb going off as a 250ft explosion of flames erupted out in all directions; the flames splashed into the air and took the form of angels as it disappated off into nothingness.
The walls were literally roasted and crumbling, some spots, glowing orange. The glass cases were shattered, and some relics were lost however; the huge hole in the floor revealed a trove of stolen goods down below. Even a damn stolen motorcycle. The remaining White Hand guys who stood up barely could function as they flailed around; swinging their weapons through the smoke as Hera backed up, amused as they flailed about.
"Seryth, finish these guys off!" she didn't want to do anything as explosive again. Plus, she noticed he was some kind of damn ninja or something! Or maybe there was more too it than that, but with the smoke from her fire magic still all around them; he should have no problem downing 10 guys who were basically limping around in a smokescreen; probably hurt and burnt up already. As she looked around, she didn't see Takumi or Coal anywhere; if she knew them which she did they were probably torturing the crap out of one of the guys who they'd knocked out at the Shop earlier.
"Edward....go and alert the authorities that we've found the Dark Guild...and that they were using the Museum as a damn Stash House." she said as she kept herself at the ready. "Go on now, git!" she said as she looked back at him and smiled boldly.

- Spells Used:
Name: Fire Dragon's Iron Fist
Rank: A
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 6 Posts
Type: Slayer
Description: Hera fires herself forward with flames leaping off her feet at beyond the speed of a rocket, leveling herself out perfectly just before she reaches her opponent at rocket speed. She coats her fist in indescribably hot flames as she either launches herself through the air or runs on the ground. As she does so, a huge 250ft firestorm in all directions begins to churn around her. Sweeping up enemies besides her main target, and also anything not tied down will be incinerated along the way. As soon as Hera makes contact with her target; the Heat Force built up explodes backward off of Hera from her fist. Throwing her forward as the punch is turned into a carry attack as Hera rockets forward at the speed of an RPG carrying one opponent on her fist, sending one opponent sailing and perhaps a legion of her lesser cohorts behind her done in by the rather gigantic flame wave following Hera and the punch itself.
Strengths: Adds A-Ranked fire damage to a melee damage flying punch. Hera can use this Spell over a distance of fifty feet to quickly catch up to a target or get herself back in the mix against one. Travels 167MPH and deals damage to one target swiftly, is a very powerful motion spell; and can be used to blaze through slower effects that take awhile to fully develop. Deals A-Ranked fire damage opponents from the firestorm that follows her from the AOE flames of the spell that aren't the main target as she flies by. Has an incredible explosion of A-Ranked fire of about 100ft from Hera's knuckles after about two seconds of flying back being carried by Hera's fist.
Weaknesses: Usually only hits one target, as the knockback from being carried on Hera's fist is extreme (unless a crowd of enemies is very close together). The explosion of flames and wind after a moment of Hera's target is hit with the flaming haymaker is very large and A-Ranked in magnitude, can easily hurt Allies if too close a few seconds after Hera rockets through; haymakering a target at blazing speeds after leaping out of a stream of fire. Is a very straightforward technique. Does not buff Hera, does not buff Hera's allies. Does not heal Hera. Does not heal Hera's allies. Has a cooldown of 6 posts.

Re: Fairy Tail, Detectives for a Day!
Through the pain, Edward watched Hera sway next to his side and deliver crushing hand to one of the dark wizards - causing the dark wizard's body to crash through the floor into the shop's basement with a single punch. He felt a few beads of sweat pool on his forehead as his eyes opened wide with his mouth ajar for a moment. 'What in the world?! She... just... I should make sure to keep my lectures in my own head regarding Hera...' For a moment, Edward was dumbfounded by Hera's freakish physical strength which reminded him of a few of the Bishops of The Church of Lorelei that he had met. However, his mind quickly snapped back to reality and the situation at hand as the blonde haired priest felt more sweat starting to drip from his forehead. The sweat pooling to Edward's forehead was not caused by shock this time - the dark wizards had shot more balls of burning fire at them. The wisps of fire were consumed by Hera. The dark wizards screamed about Hera being some sort of monster. 'Oh... Right... Fire Dragon Slayer... But...' Edward sighed a bit under his breath. The damages to the shop were already adding up and so was the length of the lecture he would endure from the higher members of the Church of Lorelei. He knew he would have to atone for all of this later on in the Church's eyes. "Hey, you guys are the real monsters! I mean... you are the one terrorizing innocent people for no reason! But you still have the chance to redeem-" He was interrupted by Hera's scream and a few tears came to his eyes. The blonde haired priest knew there was going to be even more damage to Clover Town at this rate.
"You know..." Edward felt the pain from the wound start to ache with a bit more intensity as he felt his white undershirt start to get a little wet. 'Tch. So the wound is a bit deeper than I thought... I can't waste any healing magic on it just in case a few of the townspeople or the dark wizards need my help later on.' He thought to himself as he walked outside. Even though the dark wizards of White Hand were horrible people who preyed on the weak, Edward could not allow them to be killed or seriously injured. After all, they had to properly atone for their sins and they could not do that in a box or in a hospital bed. Edward shook his head back and forth about the barbaric actions undertaken by both Takumi and the flying cat, Coal. Edward was not sure what happened while he was inside of the shop which had a huge hole renovated into the floor thanks to Hera. But Edward did not say a word to Coal, Hera, or Takumi. He just clasped his hands together and prayed for them, the members of White Hand, and the townspeople of Clover Town.
The blonde haired priest listened to the other male member of the team, Seryth, explain what the unique golden creature was that flapped its wings along with what actions he had undertaken in regards to tracking the members of the dark guild. Edward smiled brightly since he was a bit worried that Coal, Hera, and Takumi might have tried to rough up the downed members for more information. With this method, they didn't need to be any more pointless violence on anyone's behalf. "You are amazing, Seryth! I am truly impressed with your amount of foresight." Edward said happily. He watched as the creature opened its eye and revealed the location - the hideout of the dark guild known as White Hand. 'A museum? I will admit that is a clever-' Edward felt the sweat starting to pool to his forehead once again. Museums held all sorts of valuable and fragile artifacts that were completely irreplaceable. Edward knew with a museum now added to the mix of events.
"Hera! We need to-" Edward turned his head and realized that Hera had already run off toward the building. A few tears began to form in Edward's eyes before he ran off in the direction of the building as well. Edward climbed the enormous porcelain-white stone steps of the building. He walked inside of it and noticed how dark it was. It was obvious the building was closed for the day. He looked around and noticed the all of the ancient treasures of the past. Edward Von Aurence stepped forward, but he did notice something odd. For a the hideout of a dark guild, there was a lack of dark guild members. Edward hoped a bit that this wasn't the hideout until he heard a few footsteps echo around him and Hera. 'How many are there? Five. Ten. Fifteen. No, there were even more than that at least twenty or more are in the room.' Edward noticed they all had different types of clothing adorning their body. However, there was a single common feature which was a hand on their body in a variety of hues.
Edward listened to them talk about their guild hall being in a different location and that this museum was basically a storehouse for them. It was then the unexpected had happened, Hera had offered them all a chance to surrender peacefully or attempted before a gunshot rang out. Edward couldn't even see the bullet being fired but saw it being held between her fingers before the rest of the gunfight began to take place. This time, Edward could not fault anything that Hera did to them since she had offered them the chance to end things without bloodshed or conflict.
As Edward watched the fight unfold, he began to see the difference in his own ability - his power compared to Hera's. No, it wasn't just Hera but there was also a huge difference between his ability - his power compared to Coal, Takumi, and Seryth. After all, this whole mission he did was just watch from the side and just tell the dark wizards he believed in them. Edward clutched his hand into a fist. He still hated violence and resorting to it, but he hated being powerless and useless to people. He had become a priest to lead people to Lorelei's life and help them. He shook his head and watched the rest of the fight unfold.
It was then that he watched Hera use a spell infused with his power before she called out a new random name. Edward tilted his head. 'Fire Dragon Angelic Fist? A better name would have been Holy Dragon's Fire Fist.' Edward said judging the name choice. "Alright, Hera. I will go get the authorities." Edward said running out of the building. He knew that was the least he could do in regards to being useful even if Hera said that his spell was useful. It would not take long for Edward to return with the local Clover Town authorities behind him.

Re: Fairy Tail, Detectives for a Day!
It seemed that he had impressed them with his quick thinking and use of tracking gadgetry, but his use of his magic seemed to have impressed Hera the most, which was quite the feat of accomplishment with how powerful her own magic was. If Seryth could be relied on more now by his comrades, then that was the better. They fought much better and cleaner when they fought together, playing on each-other's strengths and weaknesses, than trying as individuals. Even Edward who seemed down in spirit right now, had his own power that only he was good with and Seryth wasn't referring to the power of lecture either. Hera was the team leader, though, so it was her job to determine how best to utilize everyone's individual talents and decide on the direction they would follow while Seryth was there to ensure this direction wasn't impeded, and Edward's role to be their liason to the authorities.
Seryth was admittedly impressed that the White Hand had the sway to take over a municipal building such as the Museum without the local authorities not knowing of it already, it clarified a great deal in the former assassin's mind as to just how much pull these people may have when it came to Clover Town. It was best if the team took down these people on their own than garner to local jurisdiction - it was possible that they may have some of the police in their own pockets - but he might guess as to why Hera had sent Edward off to do so. As they eventually did arrive at the Museum, the golden golem's eye returned to normal as the television-like sight faded away.
As they entered the museum proper, Hera attempted to negotiate to which the opposing mages had to be just dumb or had no clue about exactly who Hera was. Resulting in the end of the barrage of shots, Hera responded in kind with the aid of Edward. It seemed the attack had destroyed some of the treasures, but revealed the hidden cache, and the remaining White Hand gunsman flailed about in an attempt to hit Hera? Seryth wasn't entirely sure, just sure that the remaining ten White Hand were about to be in a lot more pain as Hera had ordered him to 'finish them off'. Seryth had no intention to kill them, but maiming wasn't out of the question and the former assassin felt like teaching these guys a lesson.
"Well well... I suppose that you lot are in luck that I'm the one handling you rather than my mentor, she would be sure you payed in pain for your transgressions, I'm sure. Me, I'd rather just take from you now and ensure that you won't be standing to oppose us. Plasmic Leash!" commanded Seryth, using the flames which Hera had already channeled as catalyst for his technique - requiring no hand movements as normal. Seryth simply yanked back bard on his arm ans a whip of plasma whirled about, striking the first two hard on the thigh, then raking across another at the knee. His eyes focused intently on the remaining seven as they filled with madness. This was a madness that none of his team-mates had seen before, yet somewhere deep within he fought to control the madness to the best of his ability. Injure... but not kill... he told himself. With that, Seryth moved, this time much faster, and with electric blue flames adhering around his hand, brought it to the leg of the fourth White Hand, then with newfound strength, tossed him to the ground.
As the remaining six brought revolvers to bear, Seryth surrounded himself with a ball of plasma-like energy with many spikes jutting out defensively. Each bullet shot was burned up easily within the plasma, before falling uselessly as metal lumps to the ground. Seryth didn't waste any time, breaking into a rush towards the nearest and ramming him into the ground - spikes of plasma breaking through his skin as his body got lambasted, and then dissipated. This left... five men for Seryth to continue to defeat, he caculated, as he quickly re-positioned himself. It had already depleted his mana by slightly more than a fourth of his reserves, and so Seryth resolved to finishing off the rest of these men with his martial skill.
Withdrawing a sharp object and spinning it around his index finger, Seryth quickly yanked forth to release three shuriken from his palm - striking three of them dead on as he brought a steel blade out from a small wooden scabbard into the gut of a fourth. As the fifth mage prepared to shoot Seryth, he quickly drug the wizard he had just impaled in the shoulder foront of him as a bullet sponge, then pushed off with his food and tossed the gunslinger into the other one - using the opportunity to bash the other in the head hard with the pommel of his short sword. With this done, he hopped down and approached Hera with a wry grin on his face. "All sorted out, Hera. Anything else that I should be doing? I didn't kill any of them, just maimed them and incapacitated them, so the local authorities can still take them in and such."

Re: Fairy Tail, Detectives for a Day!
Just before Edward ran out, Hera could've swore she heard him say that her name had sucked for the move she'd just used. She'd thought of it on the spot; give her a break!
"WHAT, that name was awesome!!! GET BACK HERE YO!!! Edwaaaaaaaard!" she flailed and yelled, but it was too late. He was gone already to get the authorities. "Dammit.......I'll yell at him later." she was distracted then by what sounded like a Lightsaber from one of those Bosco movies behind her. Through the smoke a literal whip of plasma shot through it and wrapped up one of the guys, yanking and slamming him around.
"WHOOOOOAAAAAAAAA!" her eyes were literal stars as she continued to watch Serryth absolute terrorize these guys with some kind of takedown technique combined with his magic. She literally had expected a show, but got much more. His style of fighting was pretty amazing. When he grabbed one guy and just lifted him up slamming him; Hera lost it and cheered him on with a fistpump into the air. "YES, GET EM!!!!" as she yelled at him. One of the guys got frustrated and fired a gunshot at her; she ducked just in time comically.
Then however, Serryth formed literal ninja stars in his hand made of the same blue energy as Hera's eyes widened as he threw them. Hitting their mark with a loud energetic whoosh; Hera got the stars in her eyes again as the guys were taken down.
"Not....bad...at all." she said to him as the smoke cleared, and only he remained. Soon enough, the authorities and Edward eventually returned to the Museum.
"LOOK AT THIS PLACE, THOSE WHITE HAND BASTARDS......." someone shouted as soon as they entered. A bunch of official looking people, both men and women joined by Edward began running around the room.
"When they said after hours the place was off limits period....we knew they were using it for something, but during the day we didn't find any.....HOLY SHIT look at that huge hole in the floor!" a guy yellled, pointing at it as Hera innocently turned her back and moved Serryth toward Edward and Takumi. "THOSE WHITE HAND ASSES!"
"YEAH, don't worry....look at how banged up they are!!!" as authorities, and then even Rune Knights showed up to take the guys away; since they were magic users and not normal humans. They were cuffed with anit-magic handcuffs and "booooed" loudly by the crowd as they paraded them out of the museum and down the white steps of it for all to see.
As soon as Edward, Hera, Takumi, and Serryth walked outside however; the crowds ERUPTED into cheers and ear pitch level yells and hoots. The sound of clapping filling the air.
Hera would wave her hand at the top of the steps to the crowd; even making flames appear on her thumb during a thumbs up. Eventually the applause would die down as they made their way down the steps and into the streets proper as several men wearing yellow vests and carrying ladders made their way past them up into the destroyed Museum now to begin work on it.
"Oh, we need to grab the clients stuff!" Hera said as she ran back inside and got the exact stuff that they needed to return to the older woman. Carrying it in her arms as she came back out, she would return it to her house with a big smile as the woman opened the door and saw all four of them standing there. With tears in her eyes she outright hugged Edward who was the closest to her.
"I'm so happy to see you four again....thank god you're safe...White Hand is......" she said as she obviously felt guilty for sending them to face them alone.
"Don't worry......it was nothin!" she said as she patted the older ladies back while she hugged Edward. With a look that said 'great job' she made eye contact with Serryth first, and then Edward, and then Takumi.

Re: Fairy Tail, Detectives for a Day!
A low sigh escaped his lips as he locked in his world until he felt something soft press into his body then his body being squeezed. A familiar voice snapped him out of his thoughts and a quick blush came to his face. "Hera that is - " Edward stopped before he let out a chuckle. There was nothing lewd about receiving a hug even if his guildmate had received quite a blessing or rather two blessing from Lorelei. He put his arms around his guildmate and hugged her back. "It is good that you are okay, too. I know you are strong, but you should be careful too." He looked over at the woman and smirked. "I am glad we could be of assistance, Madame." He replied still being hugged by his guildmate before he looked over at Seryth and Takumi. "I do apologize for not being much help in the field combat." He knew he hadn't contributed much to the fight, but he was overall happy that everything ended as well as it did. It was then that he noticed he was still hugging Hera and put his arms to his side. "I am sorry about that Hera. You probably don't want to be hugged by a priest all day." He said laughing a bit as his own cheeks flushed with a bright pink.
It was true that he had a lecture incoming from a few of the higher-ups within the Church of Lorelei and he might even have to spend a bit of time helping with a few repairs on behalf of the church. But right now, he was seeing the smiling faces of the townspeople. Edward decided that was enough for now. He would work harder next time to guide people and attempt to make the world a happier place with his own power and his own words. However, even as he laughed in the arms of his guildmate, Hera, the words spoken to him by one of the Bishops rang in his head. 'Edward, there are some people that you will not be able to reach with words alone. I know you want to see the good in everyone, but sometimes there is not good in there at all. I don't want you to become a martyr, Edward, killed by some nameless demon, evil person, or spirit because you want to see the good in them.'

Re: Fairy Tail, Detectives for a Day!
Seryth had to agree with Edward on this one, the name that Hera chose could use some work to synergize better with how the spell had worked with her own magic. Seryth didn't tell Hera that, she didn't want to hear her rant about how that gaudy name was actually good. He couldn't help but inwardly laugh about the argument between Edward and Hera. He didn't have the time to dawdle on such thoughts, as he had an important job before himself. Seryth couldn't help but be swelled up by the boasting that Hera was doing in his favor, whether she was truthfully surprised and amazed or whether she was simply attempting to boost Seryth's morale; though he thought her more truthful and that she was actually impressed with his magic. Seryth's chest welled with the thoughts that someone so strong and powerful thought that he was special, and so he quickly finished his job and returned to the group of them.
From the sound of it, the men looked impressed at the group's work - Seryth had done his best to keep structural damage to a minimum after all - and seemed enraged when they discovered about the stash literally underneath the Museum. Seryth finally had a moment to restore some of his lost mana reserves, tossing a capsule into his mouth and biting down upon it. While not exactly tasty, the pill would replenish some of the mana he had lost. He then head out with his comrades and heard the loud cheers of the crowd as they exited the Museum. She did a bit of Savoire-faire while Hera retreated into the Museum to gather the client's goods. He opened his lips and began releasing rings of mana into the air like someone would release rings of smoke after puffing on a cigar. His usually emotionless persona had cracked and revealed a warm smile on his handsome features. He spoke, his fine italian accent causing girls to swoon. "It's a pleasure to have taken care of those clowns who were unjustly causing issues for this beautiful and wonderful town. If you ever fall on such hard times again, do not for a second hesitate to call upon Fairy Tail again. We're back, folks, and we're here to stay."
Making girls swoon with his sexy voice was fine and good, but Seryth truly had his eyes on someone who was far above what he could offer at the moment. This was why he worked, so he could become a worthy man in her eyes and finally confess his feelings. Perhaps that day would come or perhaps it wouldn't, but Seryth would continue to follow it as one of his goals. As they returned on their walk to the house, Seryth thought hard about exactly what it would mean to confess his feelings fully to the woman. the chance of being shot down as great, but they were heroes right now, he couldn't be thinking about such matters. He was happy to be successfully returning the goods that the White Hand had stolen to their owner, it's always a good feeling to help someone out. For now, he was just content to sit in the background for now. He didn't need the attention, he just needed to see this - that in the end the client has their justice. With that, a grin enveloped his mouth as he watched on and grinned at Hera.
"So then, Hera, Edward, Takumi. That was a great job and I much enjoyed helping these people. I hope that we can do this again, it was fun for me to work together as a team like this. But, now that this job is done, what now? Are we heading back to the guild or do you have other plans for us Hera? I'm fine with anything to be truthful, perhaps it would be best to not let this momentum die, but I will leave the decision to you." Seryth pitched as they left the woman's house at last, genuinely curious about any moves they could make next to further capitalize on the momentum they had just earned from finishing that job. Whatever was decided, he would continue along with it as Hera had already lead them well insofar. There was no need to change anything up in their party dynamic aside from Edward taking a more progressive role.
