Personality: At his core Jeremy is a good person, or at least he generally likes to think so. Being the son of a sheriff Jeremy wants to make the world a better place by bringing the bad guys to justice. However, unlike his father he wants to become rich and famous in the process. That being said is definitions of right and wrong are looser than most. Drugs, sex, gambling and even some forms of violence are okay in his book. Where he draws the line is when it comes to harming others. This doesn't mean two guys deciding to resolve their issues with a punch out between each other. Instead it means armed men or powerful wizards coming to your home and threatening your loved ones or stealing your stuff. It's probably worth noting that in Jeremy's mind there is a clear distinction between legality and morality and he generally doesn't care if something is legal or not as long as it's right by his definition.
Morality aside Jeremy is extremely hedonistic. He's constantly looking for new thrills, new adventures and new experiences. His vices of choice are generally sex and alcohol but he's not above gambling, fighting, drugs or any number of other things that can give him the kind of rush he craves. When he wants to come down so to speak he loves the outdoors and finds activities such as camping and hunting to be relaxing. When hunting, he will never kill something he doesn't intend to eat (unless it's in self-defense) as he believes strongly against killing strictly for sport.
Jeremy has a competitive side to him. He likes to push himself to be greater than he was. This often becomes apparent when working with others as he has an annoying tendency to try and one up people even if it puts himself (and sometimes others) in danger. This paired with his naturally brash and reckless nature makes him somewhat hard to work with.
One thing that his parents were never able to instill in him was a respect for authority. In fact, the strict upbringing he had seems to have had the opposite effect. Jeremy values personal freedom above almost all else. While he's not entirely above obeying orders he usually does so at his own discretion. It helps if the person who's giving the orders is somebody he likes and respects or if the benefits of obeying the order (or the consequences of disobeying it) are obvious to him.
In combat Jeremy is a ranged fighter who likes to keep moving and pick his shots. The precise nature of his magic makes him good at picking off specific targets and his ability to strike at a distance makes him good for covert jobs or as part of an ambush. When fighting alone he tried to "zone" his opponent(s) by keeping them at safe distance while he fires on them. When fighting at with others he generally stays back while the more tank like or melee oriented figures engage the enemy from up close.

- Hunting. Jeremy loves the outdoors and is quite of fond of hunting wild game.
- Womanising. To put it bluntly Jeremy is kind of a slut.
- Drinking. Jeremy like a lot boys started drinking in his teens and never really stopped. He especially loves good beer but isn't real picky.
Dislikes:
- Being broke. It's true money can't buy happiness but it can buy most of the things that make you happy.
- Being bored. Jeremy craves excitement and adventure. A bored Jeremy is a restless and unhappy Jeremy.
- Being hungry. Usually goes with being broke. Jeremy especially loves freshly caught meat.
Motivations:
- Fortune. Jeremy wants to become rich.
- Fame. Jeremy wants to become a well known hero. Or at least a well known bad ass mercenary.
- Adventure. Jeremy craves excitement and will do anything if it means he has a good story to tell when he's done.
Fears:
- Spiders. When Jeremy was a young boy he was bitten above the eye by a spider. The bite wasn't very poisonous but it was painful. Ever since then he's had a slight fear of spiders.
- Being a nameless mook. Jeremy craves greatness and recognition. He fears being just another face in the crowd.
- Running out of ammo. A gunslingers greatest fear is running out of ammo in a fight.
