The Amigo's First Steps Into Hell (Job - Jozuma|Haku'na Matata|Poom Loom)

Jozuma made his way to the port Town of Hargeon ahead of his new teammates and decided to survey the area beofre waiting them at the entrance. This was his first job after allying with Haku'na and Poom and it seems like it would be a big one. The job came from a wealthy man in Hargeon and while he said he would explain the details when they met he did make a point that this job would be very dangerous and our lives could be at stake. Jozuma explored the town to atleast locate the client's home. The town was pretty large with brick and wood buildings but the entire place was unusually quiet for a port town, no one was in the streets. Jozuma came across the port and finally came across a few people on the port who seemed to be reconstructing a few heavily damaged buildings, windows were bashed in and the roofs were completely torn apart. "Fishy, some pretty intense stuff must have gone down, we should be careful on this one. Good thing we got Haku'na and Poom are tagging with us." "You're all going to die." "Come on bud don't write them off quickly, see how this goes a bit then you can start calling out our deaths." Jozuma left the site of the wreckage and continued to search for the client's home, following the instructions provided in the job request. Jozuma finally arrived at a large white building with a lavish design. The building had a large garden up front and roses around the windows. "Looks fancy enough to me." "Yeah this looks like the place, let's go back and wait for the guys." Jozuma made his way back to the entrance of Hargeon and found a nice tree to lay against as he waited for his friends.

Poom had just finished his job in Beanstalk village, he lost most of his cape, but won the people's hearts and a sword. The job took more than he expected so he was late to his next job with his new teammates Jozuma and Haku'na, at the Hargeon Town.
He was in a hurry, he ran and took trains and did whatever was in his power to come as fast as possible to the gate of the town, because that was their meeting spot, and even though they do look like good people, Poom was not sure if they would wait for him.
Lately, Poom was always traveling from and to jobs, and because of it, he only knew that Hargeon was attacked and that it is still rebuilding.
The day was sunny when he exited the train.
Light. It always feels good to have it on my face.
Pook looked around and he was surprised looking at the town, it looked nothing like the Hargeon Town he knew. The town was in ruins and the rebuilding people talked about would probably take months if not years.

Poom came here for a mission. He knew they were looking for an item, but didn't know the details. For that reason, the team agreed to meet in front of the gates, so that Jozuma could explain it to them.
Poom scanned the area in search of him comrades, and underneath one of the trees laid Jozuma, and next to him stood Haku'na, Poom was indeed the last one to come. Getting closer Poom wanted to present himself as a cool guy to his new teammates, so he teleported next to them.

Polygons of light started forming next to Haku'na, at first they had no particular form bunch of them freely floating, but soon they had human shape and Poom appeared. Pooms appearance was different from the last time they saw each other. Half of the Poom cloak was missing and the half that was there was ripped. On his back there now stood a sword. His face was bruised, but there was still a smile on his face.
So are we ready for this, or what?

Jozuma relaxed next to the tree for a good while taking some time to rest and enjoy the fresh air. It was a bright calm day perfect for an adventure. Some time passed before the sound of footsteps caught Jozuma's ear, he turned his attention towards the sound to see Haku'na making his way towards him. Jozuma got up and walked towards his friend to greet him. "Haku'na! Nice to see ya." Then bits of light started forming next to Haku'na, they appeared to be glowing polygons forming in the air with no real definite shape as they started to form together. "Poom." Jozuma thought. The polygons came together and Poom Loom appeared before them. He looked a little different from the last time Jozuma saw him, part of his robe was missing while the rest of it was tattered and he was now wielding a sword. "So are we ready for this, or what?" "Well you certainly look ready. I found the client's home already so follow me we can catch up on the way."

Jozuma lead them through the large town to the home of the client, they had some chat on the way about what they've been up to recently and Jozuma talked about the Murder Mystery job he went on. After some time they arrived at the large white brick house, the house and its garden's beauty made it really stick out among the rest in Hargeon. They walked up to the door and Jozuma knocked on it. A butler opened the door and greeted them. "Hello, welcome to the Fenor Manor please state your bus-." The butler stared at Jozuma and suddenly started acting cautious, Jozuma always wore his assassin's gi and as such wasn't exactly the most approachable person in appearance it only made sense that the butler became hesitant. "Figures." Jozuma showed the butler his guild mark. "Calm down we're from Infinity Hydra, we're here for the job request." The butler eased up. "Oh yes, my apologizes, please come in I'll take you to see Master Fenor." They all went inside and followed the butler down a long hallway leading to a the study of Master Fenor.

While they were following the butler Calcifer spoke up in Jozuma's head. "Hey, if we're sticking with these two for the long haul you should probably." "Yeah, you're right." Jozuma spoke up to Haku'na and Poom. "If we're going to be a team there's something you gotta know about me, Poom probably already figured this out." Jozuma points to his head. "I got a demon in my head, had him since I was kid, his name is Calcifer and he's going to be the one silently judging you from now on and by silently I mean very vocally it's just only I can hear em. Honestly, he's not that bad of a guy once you used to him just letting you guys know that if you see me talking to myself I'm likely talking to my rent-free headmate here." Jozuma just let the information roll around in their heads a bit as they followed the butler to the study. As they entered the study they saw an older man wearing fine clothes filling out paperwork. "Master Fenor, wizards from the Infinity Hydra guild have arrived." "Perfect, just in time." Jozuma turns to Haku'na. "You should probably talk to him, judging from the butler I might not come off very well, after you get the details we'll get moving." Jozuma walked outside of the study and stood next to the door.

Poom followed Jozuma, waiting to see what his dark robed friend had found as their first job together. They had some small talk on the way to the client's house, talking about jobs they just did. Poom boasted how he defeated a dark mage and saved a whole village.

Going through the city Poom was thinking about what could have happened to destroy it so much. They stopped in front of the big white house. Surrounded by ruins it really stuck out. Walking to the door, Poom looked around, still in his thoughts. The house had a beautiful garden full of flowers and that is when Poom realized that their client would probably be a lord or something similar.

Poom was still in thought when he realized that they have already knocked on the door and that a butler was speaking to them. Jozuma pulled down his hood to show his guild mark and Poom lifted his shirt to do the same. Butler gave them all a surprised look at first, but once he looked at Poom's face he had a puzzled one instead, like he knew him from somewhere.

They all went inside and followed the butler down a long hallway. During their walk there Jozuma explained that he had a demon in his head, and Poom was relieved.
So I was not imagining things that time. It is good to know that I am not crazy.

Haku'na and Poom entered the study at the end of the hallway, and there stood an older man Lord Fenor. As this was Poom's first time in the presence of a lord he just stood quiet and let Haku'na do all the talking.
When butler entered the room again, carrying a tray with hot tea and biscuits, he gave them to Haku'na and then stood near Poom still looking at him puzzled.
Sorry sir, this may be too personal and I may be wrong, but are you Poom Loom, the model?
Poom was surprised, he did not expect anyone to recognize him.
I am not a model, that was just one job, and I am no sir.
Oh I watch all seasons of Fiore's next top model. That Prvi was really arrogant, he should have been eliminated sooner. Sir isn't this job too dangerous for you? the butler continued, clearly enjoying meeting Poom. This conversation lasted until Haku'na and Lord Fenor didn't finish all negotiations about the job.
Sir Poom can I have your autograph? the butler said with paper and pen already ready. Trying not to be rude Poom took the paper and wrote his name.
Lord Fenor gave them a strange look, but pointing at the door said
Do be careful.

Poom let Haku'na exit first, holding the door.
When they exited Jozuma was still there waiting, and Poom commented.
We are going through a gate to hell. Doesn't that sound fun?

Jozuma stood outside the door to the study for a good amount of time while Haku'na and Poom talked with the client. He could hear some sounds but couldn't really make out anything. After a while the door opened and Poom was the first to exit the room. Poom spoke to Jozuma "We are going through a gate to hell. Doesn't that sound fun?" Jozuma responded with excitement. "Hell yeah let's go!" The group left the manor together and made their way to the docks.  Everything was still pretty much a wreck at the port but atleast some progress was being made with the repairs. In the distance a path of rock could be seen leading to a metal door on the surface of the water. "Well that definitely looks ominous." The amigos crossed the rocky path towards the metal door. The door was slightly open and a blue glow shined through the opening. Jozuma opened the door and jumped into the pit that lied behind it, his friends following after him. 

They all landed into what appeared to be a cave filled with crystals. The crystals were very large and gave off a brilliant blue glow. The were also plants scattered around the the ground that gave off a similar glow illuminating the cave. Some excavation equipment could be seen near the crystals but no people around that could have used it. "Wooaahh, this is amazing!" "Oh boy here we go." Jozuma was fascinated with what they were seeing, he took out his research journal and ran off towards the crystals for a closer observation. "I've never seen anything like this!" Jozuma started jotting down notes and drawing pictures of the plants and crystals in his journal very quickly. He seemed really invested until he heard his friends calling for him and he realized that he had a job to do, research time can wait. "Sorry, Coming!" He took a sample from the one of the plants and crystals for later and returned to his friends to continue searching through the cave. Jozuma saw a stream from where he was and they ended up starting their search there. The stream seemed to go off for quite a distance into the darkness and the water gave off the same glow as the crystals and plants, an unusual phenomenon. As they followed the stream Jozuma's curiosity got the better of him again and he decided to get a few samples from the water as well. As he was taking some of the water he heard a small piece of crystal fall over, he turned to the sound to see nothing there. Jozuma caught up with his friends again. "I think we may have stirred something's attention." Nothing seemed to be present at the time so they continued to follow the stream for the time being.

The metal door to the cave stood rusty and covered in black sludge. The blue glow from the rocks inside was escaping the slightly opened door, painting the surrounding into a surreal picture. Jozuma opened the door and jumped into the pit that lied behind it, and Poom followed.

The cave they have just entered was full of glowing crystals, that emitted almost blinding blue light. The plants were also glowing but with a fainter glow, almost like they got accustomed to the crystals' glow. There stood streams of glowing water, all flowing together forming a large stationery lake. Jozuma being the man of science was running towards the crystals and plants,  inspecting water and writing about it in his journal.

As Jozuma was gathering water Poom could see some dark figures moving in the shadows, and looking at them from all directions. Poom was still getting used to his steel sword. He had no problem with it in a fight, it was a well-balanced sword, sharp even after years of neglect, but out of the fight, it was always bothering Poom. Sometimes it was heavy, making the shoulder where he carried it stiff, sometimes it hit his legs while walking if he put it around his waist. All those worries around the sword were a good mask to cover Poom's real worry about what they will find on their mission here in the cave. Creatures of demonic essence and sinful nature, was how Lord Fenor described what they needed to stop. That description coupled with their surounding made Poom doubt his will to do this job, but he continued for the sake of his friends.

The dark shapes were getting more frequent, and their number was increasing. Poom was not sure what to do so he spoke to warn the rest of the group.
There is something in the shadows, look out. It doesn't look human, so be careful.

Suddenly a wild rumble could be heard, followed by crashes, that sounded like glass breaking.

'Monster Dice' :

The sounds were getting louder and the shadows were getting closer and closer. Eventually the figures came into view and the group was able to clearly see what had been following them this whole time. It was a demon, a big one, really big towering 30ft with long musclebound arms, jet black skin, and glowing blue eyes. Jozuma was astounded how this hulking creature could have remained hidden from them the whole time but pondering such questions had to wait, now, it was time to fight. Poom was ready with his sword drawn but Jozuma stepped in to handle the demon. "I got this guy." Jozuma walked up to the demon staring him in the eye as the demon let out a low snarl. "Blitz Stance!" Jozuma's body turned into electricity and he dashes towards the demon at a very high speed. The demon lunges his arm at Jozuma but he dodges it making the demon hit a crystal on the wall, the demon tries again and Jozuma dodges once more but this time the crystal collapsed on the demon piercing and almost crushing its body. Despite this, the demon throws the crystal off its body and continues to try to swing at Jozuma in the same fashion as before though now more violently, Jozuma continued to avoid his strikes and the more crystals became damaged and at the brink of collapse but the demon still continued his assault. It was then Jozuma had a thought. "You're not very smart are you?" The demon just roared tried to hit him again, it missed. "Cal?" "This guy is strong but he's a very low-classed demon they're dumb as bricks." "Good to know." Jozuma started running around the crystals continuing to dodge the demon's lunges and causing more damage to the crystals around it. Jozuma then runs a good distance away from the demon and raises his arm. "Electro-Crash!" Jozuma smash the ground and a cone of electricity travels across the the doing a good number on the demon but more importantly cause all of the damaged crystals around it to collapse completely crushing it. All was visible was a huge pile of crystal and the bleeding head of the demon sticking out. Jozuma was sure that the demon was dead but he had to make sure so he walked up to the head an poked it a few times, no response. "Well he's done let's get going." Jozuma started walking back to his friends when the cave started shaking and more and more growls echoed throughout the cave; that demon wasn't alone and whatever it was with wasn't happy.

'Monster Dice' :

Poom was looking at Jozuma and his swift victory over the giant that was following them, and a smile formed on his mouth.
He indeed is strong.
But the happiness had ended, as the cave started shaking and more and more growls echoed throughout the cave. The giant was not alone.

Poom saw a figure approaching Jozuma from behind, and shouted to warn him
Look ou... but his shout was cut short, by a sharp pain Poom felt on his back. The attack's strength was great, throwing Poom to the side, and making him drop his sword.

Poom could feel his blood pouring from the wound and he knew he could stop it, and close the wound, but that it would take time. He turned seeing a 10 feet tall demon like creature, with its claws covered in blood. Looking at the creature at first made his ears ring, but soon he could hear voices.
Weakling Impostor Orphan the voices spoke.

Poom could see that the demon was preparing to attack him again, so he acted swiftly.
Polygon make: Minefield and polyhedrons appeared next to the demon, exploding. The demon flinched from the explosion giving Poom enough time to grab his sword and began his attack. Justice must prevail. Polygon make: Sword Poom shouted as a sword formed in his other, free, hand, and he started slashing the demon.

First, he slashed with a steel sword, then with polygon sword he continued slashing with one than with the other, but the demon evaded most of his attacks. Poom was no match for the demon's speed.

Still standing with both sword in his hands, Poom as fighting hard with this daemon, and the voices in his head did not help. The voices made the thinking hard, and Poom knew that was the only way he could beat his opponent. You only run, and evade. You are a coward. Poom said trying to taunt the demon.

The demon looked at Poom with a  clear smile on his face. It buried it's feet in the ground to get a good foothold and sprinted toward Poom, it's claws ready to attack. It was just what Poom wanted and it made his plan come to action.

Polygon make: Clone Poom said as he stepped back, making a polygon clone appear in front of him. He crouched being concealed behind the clone and got ready for his attack. The demon was not stupid and knew it was just a clone, but it still just ran into it. As the clone started to break Poom plunged both his swords forward, causing the demon to impale itself on them. The voices stopped, Poom and demon stood there like they were about to hug, but the demon had a sword coming out of it's back, and Poom had claws sunk in his arms.

Using his unoccupied hand he pushed the demon off his sword and its body fell down limp. He now stood with a sword covered in black-blue blood of a demon. Turning he saw that Jozuma was still fighting his, and was winning.

The echoes grew louder and as Jozuma walked back towards the group Poom gave scared look "Look ou-" He was cut off when as a demon tossed him to the side. "POOM!" Jozuma didn't have time to even move before he felt a sword go right through his back, luckily his Blitz Stance was still active and the sword merely phased though him; a shock surged through the sword's wielder and Jozuma turned around and kicked him away giving him another shock. Jozuma now had a better look at the figure, another demon smaller than the 1st one but still pretty large sizing up 10ft tall. The demon looked similarly to the 1st one but felt much stronger. Jozuma wanted to help Poom but he now had his own problems and he trusted Poom to be able to handle himself, this was something they both had to conquer.

The Jozuma prepared himself for a fight when various voices echoed in Jozuma's head.
Murderer. Monster. "Ah can it ya you big half-assed excuse for a demon! Let me tell ya something, only I'm allowed to mess around with this kid's head and there ain't any new vacancies coming anytime soon so beat it." The demon tilted its head in confusion this was probably the first time it encountered a mind that was already occupied. Jozuma smiled and tapped his forehead almost mockingly. "Sorry but I'm pretty used to the head game." The demon became furious and charged at Jozuma, it's attacks couldn't seem to make contact with Jozuma phasing through him while Jozuma landed a good couple of punches. The demon jumped back very far away seeing that physical attacks were useless and started throwing fireballs from its hands. A few of the fireballs made their mark burning Jozuma as he tried to approach the demon. The demon started running backwards throwing more magic at Jozuma as he attempted to get closer. Jozuma wasn't making any progress, as much as he hated to admit it this demon was much faster than him and he couldn't close the gap. The demon fired waves of water toward Jozuma but quickly electrified a piece of crystal on the ground retaliated with his 2nd ranged spell. "Railgun!" Jozuma shot the crystal straight through the wave of water and made its mark on the demon catching it off guard once more, blood dripped from the demon's wound. The demon seemed to adapt to all of Jozuma's surprises as it now started levitating rocks around it, ranged lightning magic wouldn't work anymore he had to get close which already proved to be a difficult task.

Jozuma wracked hit head on what to do but the challenge before him almost seemed that it couldn't be done, he needed to find an opening in the demon's defense. Then came an opportunity, an explosion erupted near them where Poom was fighting his demon. "He seems to be making progress."  The demon became distracted looking at the explosion and Jozuma took this chance. "Electro-!" Jozum ran towards the demon in a burst of blinding speed. "Strike!" Jozuma went past the rocks and landed a solid electrified punch on its face staggering it. "Thanks for the opening Poom" Jozuma thought. The demon, knowing that close combat would lead to its demise, tried to back away again. "I'm not letting you go, Feral Blitz!" Jozuma warped behind the demon and let out his final barrage. Jozuma sent a multitude of punches all over the demon's body. The demon could no longer hope to escape as Jozuma's assault was too fast and relentless, when Jozuma finally stopped his attack the demon, with blank eyes, fell to the ground and the battle was over for now. Jozuma took a sigh of relief. "That was a close one... Poom!" Jozuma turned in the direction of Poom's battle to see that Poom had already defeated his demon. "Well it seems you didn't need any help." Jozuma smiled rejoined his team and they continued to go deeper into the cave.

After some a bit of travel the group came across a cave system with multiple paths to take. Jozuma could hear sounds from all over and it was likely that none of the paths were "safe". "Well I don't think any of these will go well but they all probably end at the same place so pick your poison."

'Monster Dice' :

Defeating the three demons was no easy task, but the amigos continued their decent in the cave system. After some travel, they came across multiple paths to take.
The four ways that stood in front looked similar to one another and gave no distinction to what could be the "right" way.
Looking at their surrounding Poom could not see any indications that the paths differed.
The blackness of the ways also gave no information to Poom.
I can't see anything in there. It's all the blackness. I can't see and say what could await us in there. Poom said, trying to get someone else to pick their way.
Well I don't think any of these will go well but they all probably end at the same place so pick your poison. Jozuma said in a way returning the decision making process to  Poom.
Poom was still looking at the four almost identical ways.
Waiting will lead us nowhere. Poom said entering one of them, and the rest followed. They moved slowly as the pitch black air surrounded them all. Poom waved his hand creating a polyhedron in front of himself. The creation formed slowly, and after forming, it glowed bright red, illuminating the road ahead.
It is not much, this should help us. Poom said, still trying to see ahead. After some time the corridor they walked through came to an end, and the blackness disappeared. There was no need for the light polyhedron so Poom dispelled it.

The newly entered space looked like the rest of the cave covered in crystals and with glowing water flowing through. Poom couldn't see anything, but he still felt strange.
Weakling Impostor Orphan Poom could again hear the voices in his head, and knew what it meant.
Get ready! There is another one of those quick demons. shouted Poom to his comrades.
There was a rumble and a gigantic demon appeared. On the giant's shoulder sat another demon, smiling. With every step the giant took the ground shook. The smaller demon jumped and the moment its feet touched the ground it sprinted towards the group, Poom was already ready with his sword drawn.

The demon's claws and Poom's sword clashed, holding together. The demon's claws started to glow and lightning sparks formed at the tips of the claws. Trying not to be get hit by the lightning spell, Poom pushed as hard as he could, overpowering the demon, and slashing its hands in the process. Poom and demon exchanged a few attacks, but every time Poom tried slashing the demon blocked with his claws, and every time the demon tried scratching Poom blocked it with his sword. There was not a clear winner. The voices and demon's speed were the only two things that bothered Poom.

The voices in Poom's head were getting louder, but with every second Poom was getting used to them more and more, and the only advantage the demon head over Poom was slowly, but surely, disappearing.
Wanting to kill the demon Poom pointed his hand at it. Polygoon make: Hydra head he cast another spell. Serpent like creature formed from Poom's hand and swarmed towards the demon, tieing itself around the demon's legs, restricting its movement. The demon tried moving away, but the hydra always somehow managed to trip it causing it to fall. It tried to push it away, but the hydra still managed to stay attached. Finally, demons claws became dark and it slashed at the hydra, causing it to self-destruct. The explosion of the hydra was enough to burn the demon's feet. The demon now lied on the ground with his feet burned, but other than that still unscathed. The demon stood up. and Poom was ready for it. They started attacking again, and the exchange of blows continued. Even hurt the demon was a match for Poom. With every clash of sword and claws, Poom was getting weaker.

Wanting to end the fight, Poom raised his sword above his head, and with both his hands thrown it at the demon. The demon sidestepped, but that was enough to get Poom's plan to work.
Polygon make: Gauntlets Poom shouted as one of his fists was going towards the demon's face. Still in the air, the fist started reforming, and finaly both Poom's hands were giant polygon gauntlets. One of the gauntlets hit demon in the face causing him to recoil to the other side. Poom teleported and with his other gauntlet punched the demon, causing it to fly back.

The force of the punch launched the smaller demon towards the bigger one. The smaller demon flew and hit the big demon in the stomach. As it was unexpected the big demon stumbled and fell on top of some crystals. Both demons fell together and the big one fell on top of the smaller demon killing both of them.
Poom was out of breath and needed a small rest if he was to continue their journey, but more rumbles could be heard, so there was no time to relax.

'Monster Dice' :

Poom had done well to dispatch the demon but they weren't out of the woods, or cave in this case, yet. The ground shook as another large demon with a small demon, another of those tough ones armed with a sword, on its shoulder slowly walked towards them. The voices returned Murderer "Shut it!" Their mind tricks still weren't going to work. Poom was too exhausted from the last encounter to fight so Jozuma had to handle these two alone. Jozuma's Blitz Stance had also dissipated so he would now have to be wary of that sword, it would be a tough fight but Jozuma had a plan to level the playing field. "You ready to jump in Calcifer?" "Always, let's tear them up." "Alright then." Jozuma held his arm out to his side. "Electron Machination: Striker!" Jozuma condensed large amount of electrons together to form an electrified armor wielding a rapier. He then transferred Calcifer's conscience into the armor, the armor rose, lifted its rapier and got into a fighting stance.
  
Calcifer started speaking through the armor, now everyone could hear him. "Alright, you lot can take just sit back now cause Striker is here to introduce these demons to the dirt!" "Just stay focused bud I'll send one of them your way." Jozuma blinked on top of the shoulder of the large demon behind the smaller one. "Hi bye!" The demon tried to react but couldn't do anything before Jozuma kicked it off the larger demon's shoulder and in front of Striker. "Oh you poor soul it's you and me now." Striker lunged his rapier and the two clashed blades. Striker began a sword match with the smaller demon their movements and clashes were almost too fast for the normal eye to keep up with. Jozuma let Striker handle the smaller demon while he dealt with the big one. The big demon glared at Jozuma now standing on its shoulder and snarled. "Riiiight we gotta fight now." Jozuma quickly jumped towards the demon's head and punched its eye in. The demon roared in pain and slapped its head trying to swat Jozuma but missed, Jozuma then took its other eye out. The now blinded demon swung wildly around but couldn't connect with Jozuma as he landed blows on its stomach and legs until it started to stumble. Jozuma then jumped in the air and electrified his arm, Striker was still pretty close to Jozuma's fight meaning Jozuma was in the range of the electric field Striker emitted, Jozuma absorbed the electrons from the field supercharging his arm as he made his attack. "Electro-!" Jozuma kicked off the air and dived on the large demon. "Strike!" Jozuma punched the large demon  in the chest sending it a huge blast of electric energy that sent it sliding several meters across the ground and into the wall, rubble and crystal fell from the wall and onto the demon certainly killing it if the force of Jozuma's punch hadn't done that already. "Now your friend." Jozuma turned his attention back to Striker's fight with the smaller demon, it was now 2 on 1.

Striker was still fighting the smaller demon but was making a lot of headway. "You're staring slow down, those holes I put in ya finally starting to catch up? How about I put some more in ya then!" Jozuma punched the demon to the side and ran up to Striker. "Back! Ready to send this guy packing?" "Yep, let's do it." The demon got up as the the two approached and began double teaming it. Jozuma and Striker repeatedly attacked the demon simultaneously as the demon tried to defend itself by swinging its sword and breathing fire. The wounds the demon was taking coupled with the ones it already had were starting to take its toll as it started moving much slower and it became slowly easier to land hits. Jozuma cloaked his fists in electricity. "Paralysis Battery Release!" Jozuma punched the demon in it's gut sending a jolt of electricity to it's body, the demon was now paralyzed and could no longer move a muscle. Jozuma and Striker charged at the demon at full force and attacked in unison. Blood spurted from the demon as it fell to the ground. Jozuma could not hear anymore noises so they were at least safe for now.

Jozuma and Striker walked back to Poom who was kneeling down catching his breath. Jozuma could sustain Striker for quite some time so he thought some introductions were in order. "I can't hear anything else so I think we can take a breather for now, anyways this here is Calcifer, the one I mentioned before, or as he prefers to be called when he's in that armor Striker." "Hey weird beard, you know I was so certain you all were going to die and I would have to bail Jozu out but you surprisingly all have a bit of fight in ya. You can all kick back now though, I can fight our way through this cave by myself." sigh "See what I gotta deal with." "Hey!" "Anyways he does have a small bit of a point though, Calcifer doesn't have to sleep so we can rest up a bit here while he keeps watch. That armor he's in is also very tough so he'll be useful in the upcoming battles and on top of fighting he can also create lightning mines if you need him to but do be careful with them because they do , you know, explode. Let's get some rest for now though." Jozuma and Poom then relaxed and rested for a few hours while Striker stood in his post watching out for trouble. They would continue their journey through the cave after their rest.

'Monster Dice' :

The bearded man was lying on the ground, relaxing, looking around, with his sword right next to him.
All the fighting they did filled his body with adrenaline, making his heart race. He could feel his blood pumping through his veins, his skin boil from the heat. He was sweating a lot.
The ground was cold, cooling Poom's skin, it was really what Poom needed.
I hope we don't have much more demons to fight. This is already too exhausting. Poom said a half sleepy voice. Striker, will you protect us if we... the coldness of the ground, the exhaustion Poom felt made him fall asleep almost instantly, not letting him finish the sentence.

Poom slept for some time, but was awaken by the ground shaking. It could be minutes, or even days he was not sure, but the exhaustion was almost gone, he felt like a new man.
Opening his eyes, Poom was still in the same place. He was so tired before that he didn't even turn in his sleep. Not lifting his head, he felt around trying to touch his sword, just to see if it was still next to him. Touching his sword with the tips of his fingers, and not being able to reach it in lying position, made Poom stand up.
Two gigantic figures were entering the area they were in. Poom was not sure what to do and in what way to react to the situation, should he let Striker take care of it or should he do it himself.
No wanting to tire the friendly demon, Poom when to offense.
Polygon make:Guns
Two polyhedronical guns formed in Poom hands, while he ran towards the two gigantic shadow figures. He was already sure that the figures were those big and slow demons and that his guns would be enough to defeat them.

While running towards them, Poom saw two colossal stalactites right above the demons head.
Hey dimwits, look at me. Poom shouted to get the demons' attention. The sluggish demons turned slowly and just as their gaze was pointed at Poom he fired his guns at the stalactites. The stalactites in all their size were falling on the demons' head. The demons tried escaping but their speed and stupidity, caused them to crash into each other, and help the stalactites kill them.

Poom was returning to the "camp" that they made. Looking around, he saw that Striker was still there keeping watch, Jozuma was there also, but then he realized Haku'na was not there. Poom felt strange as he was not sure if he saw Haku'na even enter the cave system, or of they have lost him.

There was a look of panic in Poom's eyes, all the determination he had a second ago disappeared. He was driven by his strength and determination to finish this job and get paid, that he forgot about his friend. Feeling down even after all those victories he asked what he wanted to know.

'Monster Dice' :

Jozuma woke up to see Poom with an extremely concerned look on his face, Jozuma wondered what was wrong until brought up a very concerning question. "Guys where is Haku'na?" Jozuma's eyes widened and he looked all round the camp but couldn't find any sight of him, he called out to Striker. "Cal did you see Haku'na?!?!" "Red-head? Yeah, he was here saw him walking off further down into the cave that way mumbling to himself." Striker pointed his sword to a path on the right. "Why didn't you stop him?!" "Hey it was my job to keep demons out not to keep you guys in, I told it was a bad idea but he kept going." "Dammit, come on we got to find Haku'na." Jozuma ran off into the cave with Striker and Poom following. After covering a distance Jozuma started picking up a smell, the smell of blood. "No." he thought to himself and picked up the pace following the smell of blood through the maze-like cave system. 

More time passed and Jozuma could see a large door at the end of the cave  but it was being guarded by another large demon with a smaller one standing next to it, this one was a littler different from the talking ones as it was a bit larger standing 15 feet tall and held a jagged blade. The smaller one started it's attack charging at the group while the larger one stayed put guarding the door. "Grr I don't have time for this, Striker Lightning Mines." "On it!" Striker summoned a group of 5 lightning mines that flew slowly ahead of them and Jozuma prepared his attack. The demon was pretty nimble and dodged one of the mines and Jozuma's but still got hit back from a follow-up from Striker. The demon was knocked straight into a mine, exploding on contact, and Jozuma turned around and punched it into another mine. This started almost a ping pong game of Jozuma and Striker knocking the smaller demon into more mines until it hit the last mine and collapsed on the floor. Jozuma ran for the door and the larger demon readied to fight letting out a loud roar. "Out of my way! Electro-!" Jozuma sped up and appeared in front of the demon with an supercharged arm thanks Striker's electric field. "Strike!" Jozuma punched the demon as hard as he could and blasted him straight through the door landing dead in the room behind it. 
The group entered through the now opened doors into what appeared to be a huge arena, the walls were lined with demon's of all sorts of sizes banging drums giving a sort of gladiator feel, in back of the room stood a pedestal with an odd trinket on it and in the center a demon sitting on a throne. The demon looked human wearing oriental styled combat robes and holding a dark sword at his side, Haku'na was on the ground next to him. Jozuma was unsure if Haku'na was alive or not so he started to run to him. "Haku'na!" Jozuma then stopped as more voices were entering his head. Make no further steps. "This shit again." Ah so you are familiar with this, unfortunatley this is our only method of speech but don't worry I am a little more civil than my brethren. "What did you do to Haku'na." The red one, we merely enlightened him and he came on his own will, though he seemed to wake and tried to defy me so I had to.... disable him. "Did you kill him!" Now now that's a surprise. Jozuma growled at the demon, his own inner demon getting the best of him. Ooh it seems that you have been enlightened for some time now and that one must be the harbinger of your enlightenment. He pointed to Striker, who also growled in response, then looked back at Jozuma. I like you so I will allow you alternative, if you 3 leave now I will grant you some of the water from this stream which contain very special properties. Jozuma pulled out a few vials of the samples he took before. "Already took it." That is not yours to take. "Don't care so how about this plan, you sit right there and let us leave with that thing on that pedestal AND Haku'na." I'm afraid I can't allow that so our only option is combat. The demon stood up from his throne and lifted his sword. Heh personally I greatly prefer this, the opportunity to fight such a strong enlightened man as well as your associate who has proven to be very capable sounds thrilling. Jozuma's teeth grew into fangs, his rage has put him on the brink of becoming a demon. "Fine by me, I'll rip off your limbs and force you to surrender Haku'na. Blitz Stance!" Jozuma became enveloped in lightning and dashed towards the demon followed by Striker and Poom. The demon seemed to fast and skilled as he as he took on all 3 of them at the same time, Jozuma landed a few punches with his increased speed but it was clear that this demon was too fast. Jozuma then had an idea, he electrified a metal ball in his pocket and and levitated it to his fingers he held behind hi, when the demon appeared next to him he fired the Railgun shot point blank in its skull. "Paralysis Battery Release, Railgun!" Besides the hole in its skull electricity surged through the demon's body paralyzing it, it was now open for attack. Gh cleve- r.

Poom was looking at Jozuma and Striker arguing
Cal did you see Haku'na?!?! Jozuma asked Striker that was keeping guard while they were sleeping.
Red-head? Yeah, he was here saw him walking off further down into the cave that way Striker spoke slowly mumbling to himself as he pointed his sword to a path on the right.
Why didn't you stop him?! Jozuma was getting angry.
Hey it was my job to keep demons out not to keep you guys in, I told it was a bad idea but he kept going. Striker defended himself.
Dammit, come on we got to find Haku'na. Jozuma spoke as he went the cave on the right in search of Haku'na showing Poom to follow him.
They walked for minutes following Jozuma, that seemed like he knew where he was going.

After much walking, they came to the gigantic metal door, guarded by a pair of demons, one bigger one smaller. The demons looked similar to the one that they had already fought, armed and ready to fight. Poom was ready to attack them, but Jozuma not waiting a moment, clearly angry, gave a command to Striker, which he obeyed and they attacked the demons, working in tandem. The demons flew left and right, while bombs were exploding and making them move like ping pongs. Jozuma and Striker struck down the demons even before Poom could do anything. Jozuma punched the demon as hard as he could and blasted him straight through the door landing dead in the room behind it.

They entered the room, being cautious of an ambush. As they entered Poom could see that the room looked like an arena. It was very strange finding an arena underground, but Poom had an open mind. In what would be bleachers, stood a bunch of demons, cheering, shouting. Sounds could be heard covering the arena like room, making the crowd even more energetic. Poom was not sure if they would manage to exit the room alive.

On the other side of the room, in the back, stood an odd trinket on a pedestal.
In the center of the room stood a throne, occupied by a creature that, if it weren't for obvious demonic features, would be able to pass as a man, outside this cave, holding a dark sword, that was slightly glowing like it was freshly forged.
The placement of the trinket and the demon guarding it were a clear indicator that it was the thing they were looking for.
Beneath the demon's feet laid Haku'na's limp body, not giving any signs of life.

As they were about to walk towards Haku'na's body, they both shouted Haku'na Haku'na
But they were stoped by a voice in their heads.

Could have he really killed Haku'na? Poom thought.

The demon and Jozuma continued arguing as Poom was slowly trying to get closer to Haku'na's body with out rasing suspition. Just as he was in range for his teleportastion spell, the demon stood up from his throne and lifted his sword.
All three of them, Striker, Jozuma and Poom attacked, but the demons were too fast even for all of them working together and blocked all their attacks without any problem. Jozuma landed a few punches, but it was not enough to do almost any damage to the demon. The demon had a smirk on his face, mocking their inability to do him any harm.
There was a look of determination on Jozuma's face, and as the demon was approaching him and reading his attack Jozuma fired his spell directly at the demons temple, causing it to fall back with a  hole in its skull. This was their golden opportunity.

The demos at the bleachers were booing and shouting, and the drumming had changed the pattern. As the demon was lying on the ground, with his eyes closed, Poom created his signature polygon sword, and with all his strength slashed at the demons head. The demon's eyes suddenly opened, and he tried stopping Poom's slash with his hand, but it still connected, slashing the demon's hand and a part of his chest. Both Poom and Jozuma stood in confusion, but the demon moved swiftly, and stood up, clearly still affected by the head shot and the polygon sword. Poom was not letting anything to chance, so he continued his assault.

What ever Jozuma did, has disabled him. thought Poom preparing for his next attack.
As Poom swung his sword, the demon, still moving oddly, blocked it with his own sword. As the swords touched the metal of Poom's sword started getting red, and Poom pulled it back to keep it from being destroyed.
Yuur dene fr..I wll koll yuu the voice again appeared in Poom's head, but this time it was not completely clear. The demon was having trouble. Poom sprung his hand in front of him and a gigantic serpent like creature appeared.
Polygon make: Hydra head
The creature was swimming through the air, aiming at the demon. The demons movements were slow and almost uncoordinated, so the hydra bound around him. Poom slashed at the bound demon, but it still had almost no visible impact on it. In his frustration Poom made hydras self-destruct, burning the demon.  The demon and Poom were now having a sword fight, and it could not be determent who was stronger, but Poom was sure that he was losing.
As Poom was fighting Jozuma and Striker used that opportunity to take Haku'na's body away from the demon and check if he was still alive. Raising it so they could both put his hands on their shoulders, they were certain they would save their friend.
As Haku'na was being moved, the demon cried, but this time using his own voice, and not telepathy. Nooauuuiiiooo!
He pushed Poom aside with his left hand and using his right he flung his sword in their direction. As the sword was flying through the air it was spinning and becoming redder and redder, until it burst into flames.
Jozuma and Striker were holding Haku'na in between themselves, and he was gaining consciousness.
Oh it is you guy. I am sorry. I thought I could do it on my own. Haku'na spoke, but just as he finished the sentence the flaming red sword when through his back and chest. A loud scream could be heard, and sounds and smells of burning flesh were filling the room. The crowd of demons went silent, no one was expecting that to happen.
Poom was in shock, one of his guildmates, one of his best friends, had just died in front of him. Poom started screaming and crying. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! but is was all in vein as his friend was dead.
The was a smirk on demons face, that Poom saw, and sorrow and rage filled Poom's body. Poom dropped his sword and could feel his body separating and reforming into polygons. He was in shock and there was no stopping him. As he was becoming polygons he started glowing, a yellow vibrant light. Still screaming and still holding the demon, Poom's voice became muffled.
Jozuma and Striker could feel the intensity of the thing that was happening to Poom, and they saw that the demon was trying to move away from Poom, but it was in vain.
The more Poom glowed the hotter it became until suddenly Poom exploded.
The explosion was followed by silence from the bleachers, and it did not reach Jozuma and Striker, and they were not sure if Poom was still alive. After the dust settled, there was Poom lying on the ground on his back, with the demon opposite of him, with its eyes and rest of the body completely burned.
In only a matter of minutes, Poom was conscious again and was clearly confused.
What happened? Did we win? How is Hak... as he was finishing he remembered all that had happened and there were tears again on his cheeks.

The were none of the demons still on the bleachers, and only Jozuma, Striker and Poom were present in the room that held the trinket they needed to retrieve with Haku'na.

What now? Poom asked, still crying for his lost friend.
