A gust of wind harshly sneered past her, every time stirring up the sands of the forgotten desert. Which normally always laid dormant, waiting and watching as yet another soul dared to cross the great scorching sea of heat and sand. Yes, the forgotten desert had taken the lives of many bold adventurers, however, those that managed to pass its tests were rewarded with one of the most majestic sights in the world, namely the large walls of the Sabertooth guild hall.
Like a vague mirage, Cecile could see the giant walls from miles away, yet the heat from the desert warped that very scene. Still, it was a foreboding giant that loomed over the desert, you were never prepared when you would see the behemoth of a construction hanging over you. The same goes for Cecile, the moment she stepped out of her transfer she was met with this intimidating spectacle. To both sides and the top, the wall appeared to be endless, reaching even beyond the sky. Along the walls were those yellow banners fluttering in the wind, with the Sabertooth insignia stamped on it. 'the bravest of guilds' how her father would say right before he went on a rant about either Fairy Tail or Blue Pegasus. This used to be his home before he returned to his birthplace, his chance at a better life after everything he did. But now he was gone, leaving her alone in an empty and quiet house.
Not wanting to spend the rest of her life alone in a forgotten manor she decided to pack up her stuff and head out. To find a new place and more about her father's past. And what better way than the Sabertooth guildhall.
Quickly she dusted off the sand that had been caught in her clothes and slipped through the doors into the guild itself. But once inside she was being met with a scene she didn't expect to see, the hall was as grand as the caste of the king itself. Or at least that is what she thought, Cecile never been to the royal palace, but she was sure it would look like something like the Sabertooth Hall.
Everywhere were people, mages of various shapes and sizes who came in and disappeared through portals. Others were just having fun or bragged about their most recent jobs, while some were even celebrating. To be honest she didn't know where to begin.
