When compared to Magnolia or other famous towns which are always bustling with life, Cedar was serenity itself. A medium sized port town that mostly relied on the local fishery and some trading posts. Sure it did get the occasional visitor, travelers that travel by boat to Fiore or city folk that tried to escape the crowded town so that they could get some well deserved peace. In that case Cedar was more than perfect, as nothing much ever happened here. This town was mundanity itself, untouched by large franchised shops or big guilds and more importantly, it wasn't ravished by any catastrophe that seemed to plague a lot of the other towns. No when compared to Magnolia or Era, Cedar was a safe haven where normal people could go along their normal ways. Yet that might not always be the case, as we speak danger was approaching Cedar in a way no one could expect...

Speaking of danger, it might be very possible it had already found its way in to the small port town. At this moment residing in an old church building, was a rather unsavory bunch. A group of mages who were wearing rather ominous colors, clad in black with a hint of dark purple. But that wasn't the worst part, it was their masks. Their maks had the design of a skull, which could only mean one thing. These mages were part of the most notorious guild Fiore had ever seen, namely Savage Skull. Along with the small group was one member who was significantly different the the rest of them, he was a tad larger, and wore a different attire. A battle armor, with a long black cloak that dragged behind him and unlike the others he didn't wear a horrid mask to conceal his identity. Why? Because Dahau was got enough confidence in his own ability that he didn't feel the need to hide who he was.

'Did you really think we wouldn't notice! Did you think of us as fools!' His voice low, yet sounded surprisingly amused as it bellowed through the empty church. While in front of him was a man around his late thirties, a priest. Who tried to crawl away from the scene after being struck a few moment ago. Around him the other Savages snickered at the sight of the priest who was shivering from fear, one of the Savages even went out of his way and kicked the man right into his stomach, which in turn made the Savages burst out in laughter as they taunted the man. 'You lured us here under false promises, you said this church housed a cursed object. Which you were willing to sell! Yet here I am, and the only thing you have is nothing but worthless junk.'

'P-please! Forgive me! I needed the money! I didn't know wh-'

'Your pathetic sob story won't save you now priest.. you overplayed your hand! You dabbled with forces beyond your comprehension and now you have to pay the toll for your insolence' sneered Dahau. 'But what to take... you have nothing of value, and your life is barely a compensation for the time we wasted here...'

'Sir!' stated one of the other Savages 'What about the lass from before? You know the we knocked out. She would fit as payment and besides, te guild could always use another....chambermaid' As the mage said that he smiled creepily, it was more then obviously that he was hinting at a very different job for the girl.
'Well, I guess that'll do' replied Dahau. 'At least she's easy on the eyes. Allright grab the girl and let's move out, I don't want to spend anymore time with this whimpering fool! Oh... and burn this place down while you're at it'

"This place is pretty boring..." The voice of the demon spoke out as he lugged a large bag almost as big as him over his shoulder. If it wasn't for his enhanced strength because of him not being human he would have probably been crushed by the bag. "Why is this the only place that has this rainbow catfish? Why couldn't it have been in a place more filled with some people who wanted to fight us for this?" He grunted out as he trekked along with the bag to his partner who had just returned back to the guild after traveling around basically by herself. Aliannah was the person who had been saved by one of Cirven's close friends, the angel Alyia. He had not known where she went and Ana had gone missing after being attacked before she could tell him so that made things even more confusing when she came back.

The two of them had been sent on a job as the West Fiore Trading Company members to retrieve some rare fish for a wealthy old man named Jabaro. Cirven was not exactly enthusiastic about the job but it paid well for what they were doing and if the company could get in good with the old man it would give them a prominent source of easy income. The new guildmaster was not completely happy with a job where it did not require the use of magic though because of how boring things got for him. He had been forced to deal with the day to day operations of a guild which also kept him from doing much even though he had a tendency to throw some of the work on the others around him so that he could get away from time to time. He did know he could not do that a lot though and keep everyone happy but he was not the type to be held down for long without getting overly anxious.

"Maybe I have gotten to used to being around some sort of peril and issues to really enjoy some type of peace? Could also be that I am more at peace when in that peril or issues though too." He grinned and turned his head to look at Aliannah. "What do you think, Alyia?" He was basically asking Aliannah to tell him what the angel she shared her body with though on what he was saying even though he knew that it probably felt somewhat uncomfortable to do such a thing with the angel for her. He also was pretty sure he would get a answer that was more of an insult than anything but that was how their friendship was after all. He just hoped that he grew on Aliannah as much as he did Alyia. Whatever answer she gave him he would just laugh at and continue moving.

The duo came to the West Fiore Tradin Company airship that they had used to travel to the area and dropped off what they were after to some of the men one the ship. They had done so a few times before this and had gotten the order they were going to take to the old man almost all accounted for. They just had to catch a bit more before they left. Catching the fish hadn't been so annoying really but it still took awhile because the rainbow catfish only ate certain bait and that bait attracted other fish too. "This will be the last batch before we can set off and go give the old man his fish. Can maybe find something more fun to do also after." Cirven spoke as he took another large bag and walked off, not waiting for Aliannah to follow.

They came to the same part of the port town where they had been fishing earlier. They left their fishing gear there and picked it up to start up their fishing again. Cirven placed the bait onto his hook and flung his line into the water and then waited while standing. His face slowly turned from awake to his eyes lids falling down more and more and his head nodding down then him picking it up to focus over and over. He had been fishing as if he were half awake the entire time due to the boredom it brought him from doing it. His head nodded down but this time stayed down as he faded into the darkness under his eyelids while standing up! To make matters worse, suddenly his line was pulled but it was something much stronger than any other fish they had dealt with earlier and before it could be stopped the sleeping demon was pulled into the water from the fish!

Anyone watching the event would see Cirven be quickly pulled in and then see a flash of black electricity erupt out over the water causing multiple fish to float belly up to the surface of the ocean. Seconds later Cirven would come out of the water pulling on his fishing pole which pulled up a giant, dead rainbow catfish that was as tall and wide as Cirven was tall. He still looked half awake still as he came out of the water. "You think this will be good enough for him?" The West Fiore Trading Company's CEO asked his partner.

Cedar was a nice place to be, and Ryo had enjoyed it when he was last here. With him as always was his great white shadow. The Dire wolf Gora was right next to his partner looking around and sniffing the air of the city they were in. Ryo pulled his hat down further over his face so he didn’t have to worry about the sun. Of course, his new duster was a great help in this regard being designed to keep him safe and keep the sun away from him. He looked around Cedar wondering what this little city had going on for it. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to relax, or perhaps find some work. Glancing over at Gora he asked slowly “So what is it you think we can do around here?”

For a long moment, the dire wolf made no reply, but instead he lifted his head into the air sniffing and tracking the scent of something interesting. “I smell something burning.” He told Ryo in a neutral tone.

Ryo looked up into the air looking for the source, but couldn’t find it easily. Instead he looked to Gora with a smirk “Sniff it out boy. I want to find out just what is on fire, and when we get there then I shall find out what happened to the location for this much smoke to fill the air, or rather touch the air with its scent while hiding the evidence of the source.” Gora nodded his head and began to bound deeper into Cedar heading in the direction that his nose told him to go.

The speed that these two were used to going it didn’t take them all that long to find the source. They came upon a church, or chapel, some kind of religious building. It was on fire, and there seemed to be people trying to stoke the flames into greater life so they could consume the structure. Ryo sighed heavily shaking his head as he moved forward towards the building he looked to see that these people were wearing strange masks of some kind. The one who wasn’t was running away from the chapel as fast as he could. He saw Ryo approaching and rushed towards him throwing himself at the wizard’s knees. Ignoring the deep bass growl that Gora was starting to give slowly coming up on his hackles. “Please sir! You must stop them! They are taking her!” he pointed back to a pair of men who were carrying something that was vaguely human shaped.

Ryo’s eyes went black as pitch as he gave the man a gentle shove to get the man to let go of him “I will not let them take the girl, but do not touch me. I do not know you, and Gora here views you as a threat. So back off. Just stay out of the way and I will handle this.” He said simply moving past the old priest moving towards the burning building and the group that was coming from it. Standing a healthy 25 meters away he noticed that one of the men wasn’t wearing a mask at all, but the rest were. Something about these masks rang a distant memory bell in his mind. Masks in the design of skulls, he only knew of one group who would do this. He smirked seeing that these men were of the former guild of his friend and comrade Frederick. The man in the armor was interesting to see, and seemed like he was the leader of the group with how brazenly he moved about through the town, and that he wore armor as if he was ready for a fight. Presently Ryo cleared his throat loudly and called out “You there. Release the girl, she doesn’t belong to you, and there is nothing to be gained from trying to take her. Give her to me, and we can pass without violence on anyone’s part. Should you seek to challenge me, well…” he let the threat hang in the air his hand coming to rest on the hilt of his silver blade that was hanging on his hip. He didn’t care much for the old man, the building, or anything else, but he wouldn’t allow anyone to take young women against their will.

    Bloom

With her blonde hair falling low around her waist the girl in the red cloak followed behind her Guild Master. Her hood was up, resting on the back of her head exposing her face and her slender features. She hadn't said much this entire trip, listening to the man in front of her continue to talk, well more complain. It was entertaining to say the least.  A small smile was pulling at her lips as she rolled her eyes at his complains.

Being away from people so long, having only the voices in your head did things to you especially with Alyia and Oya both speaking in her head. They were both sarcastic and sassy, the Angel being a bit hard hearted at times and blunt about situations. It was all that she had to live with for four months and she had taken a bit of both personalities to her own. The sarcasm from both, but the regalness from Oya, and the love for Sweets from Alyia. She had taken both of their stubbornness as well.

Her strides were smooth like that of a leopard, silent, but full of purpose, elegant. She made herself small though, hiding behind Cirven as they walked. She had her bottomless tie backpack thrown over her shoulders under her cloak, it had everything that she might need. Everything fitted with slits around her shoulder-blades so that it wouldn't rip when she extended her wings.

Hearing her Guild Master's latest sentence she looked up at him waiting for the response that she knew would come and she would have to relay. 'I think that you are peril and issues.' The familiar voice echoed in her head.

A small giggle escaped the lips of the girl, quiet enough that no one would hear her before she smirked at Cirven. "I think that you are the peril and issues." She relayed the message back to the male before she shrugged at his laughter, from what she could tell the angel wasn't lying. Aliannah did feel a little awkward as she would relay messages from the Angel to people, she sometimes felt more like a messenger or a slave. She knew that this wasn't the case and that Alyia would never control her body like had in the past to help her survive. The blonde girl had come a long way.

The girl could feel the glare that the Angel gave the Demon and sighed with a smile, Alyia would be childish at times. 'If it makes you feel any better Alyia, I agree with you.' The pressure in her head relaxed a bit and the girl knew that she had pleased the Angel.

After travelling a bit farther the duo arrived at their destination. The person who had hired them before continued to send them out to get more and more fish that it was starting to get annoying but the two of them knew exactly what to do and where to go. Listening to Cirven the girl only nodded, she hoped that this would be the last trip. As for something more fun after this the girl imagined going to a tree with large branches and taking a nap, that sounded like a lot of fun. Or maybe going to eat cake. To Alyia's horror the blonde girl didn't like chocolate and preferred vanilla. Aliannah only shook her head at all the debates that the two had had over which was better.

Arriving at the port where they were to fish the girl took her gear and set it up, placing the bait on and throwing it into the water. She took her rod and with a bit of fishing wire tied it to the bench and placed a small bell on it so that she knew when she had caught something.

With her set up complete the girl laid down a blanket and her cake before she started to eat, listening for the bell. She looked over and saw that her partner had started to drift to sleep. She smirked at it and shook her head, if he caught something it was going to be entertaining to see him deal with it in his half drowsy state.

As if true to her words there was a small jerk on his line a bit later when she was on her third cake. An sly grin appeared on her lips and she moved to take another bite of her cake, licking the frosting off the fork. Suddenly the line gave a strong tug and as expected her sleeping partner along with his gear was pulled into the water. She didn't make a noise as she laughed to herself. That was the downfall of the girl, she was closed off, she didn't show many expressions or forms of amusement other than smirks and sly smiles, occasionally a small smile.

Shaking her head she began to pack up her stuff as the commotion went down in the water before her partner appeared once again dazed and holding a giant fish. Looking between the two of them The girl scoffed, the blue haired demon didn't look much better than the fish. Hearing his question the girl had a blank face and crossed her arms with a brow raised. "Which one? I see two fish out of water."

Another town, another vague memory of a distant past that may have existed at some point. Or perhaps just another illusion created by her brain that was so desperately trying to figure out who she was that it was fine with making up stories that had never come to pass. That was the journey this vixen was currently on. Though right now, she was just simply sitting in a wooden store and slurping on some noodles. How did she get to such place? She walked. While that answer sounded like mockery or a joke, it was the truth. There was nothing more to it, as the girl did nothing more than walking around Fiore these past few days. She was relentless in her search but had no actual goal or even a proper direction that she could follow. And so, she just decided to visit every single town, city, and village known to man. A tiring task indeed. But this was a fox ronin we were talking about. No matter her task, she would not give up or stop moving forward. Not to mention that she had this very strange feeling that she actually ran through several countries without even stopping for few seconds at one time. Of course, that was just another foggy memory inside of her head. With a sigh, she would try to clear her head of any unnecessary thoughts like that and just enjoy her meal, as it was actually quite delicious. One would not expect noodles in some soup-like liquid to be this good!

"You've been staring at Eris for quite some time, old man. Does she have a noodle on her face or something?"

She would eventually break the dreadful silence around her. She was the only customer in this place and even the streets were completely empty. And the owner, an elderly and bold gentleman, was indeed staring at her for a while now. Only when he was called out did her back away and start shaking his head furiously in dismissal, his hand eventually pointing at something that the girl had on her back. Her two swords. And there was also a third by her waist, currently hidden from the view. Ah, so that was it. They probably don't get many armed and dangerous looking individuals here. The atmosphere was certainly calm and almost pacifistic. Maybe even too perfect. Like a calm before the storm. Only this calm seemed to last for a very long time. But the storm would come eventually. Not that it worried the girl, as she didn't particularly care for the safety of this settlement or it's inhabitants. For as long as she wasn't interested in anyone from here, she could not care less.

"You needn't worry about those, old man. Eris doesn't use them on anyone who is not in her way. And she has enough money to pay for the food too. She's proper... how do you say... platící zákazník!" ("paying customer")

Of course, the man had no hope of understanding the last two words the vixen spoke. No one had. A language that was not even present in Earthland, it was yet another proof of the girl's strange origin, as if the fox ears and three different tails weren't enough. Ah, maybe that was another part of the reason for everyone to be staring at her. Not only was she visibly carrying weapons, she also clearly wasn't a local. But as long as no one was chasing her out with a pitchfork or a torch, she felt welcomed enough. Finally finishing her meal, she would give the man enough jewels to cover the entire cost just as she said and stretched a bit before leaving. Just as it was when she entered, the streets were still mostly devoid of life, save for few select individuals that were going about their daily business. So, what exactly would she do now? With no plan what so ever, the best thing according to what she was doing until now would be to just leave and go to the next settlement, as this place did not trigger any of her memories to return. But being on the road most of the time wasn't exactly all that fun either. Swaying her tails from one side to another few times, as well as twitching her ears, the girl would bury herself in a deep thought. Familiar atmosphere, familiar scenes, familiar magic... wait, magic? There was someone using magic in this place, one that was tugging at the vixen's strings. Someone she knew in the past perhaps. The question was, should she just approach them without even knowing who they were? It wasn't like they were standing right next to her, the magical signature was quite a fair bit of way from where Eris was standing right now. Resting one of her hands on the katana by her side, she would sigh out.

"Why does everything have to be so complicated? Eris only wants to know who she was in the past..."

The few people that were actually around the ronin girl looked at her as if she just ran away from a mental hospital, talking to herself like that in a public space. It seemed that she developed that little flaw of hers at the start of this journey, as she got used to constantly being around people in her guild. And now that she was travelling alone, there was no one to talk to other than herself. Well, for now, she would just wait, standing in the middle of the streets and expecting someone to approach her instead.

As if possessed by demons itself, the fire would devour the church. Its scorching flames bursting even through the windows, shattering them and even bursting through the roof. All while the savaged tried to run off with their newest price, only to be stopped by a rather enigmatic stranger, with an even weirder companion.
'Whats this?' said Dahau with a taunting voice 'it seems the local riffraff is here to save the day. Unfortunately I don't have the time to humor your heroism lad, so instead I am going to have these guys get rid of you quickly.'

The dark mages stopped in their tracks and turned their heads towards the unknown man and instinctively readied themselves for a fight. Two of them pulled their swords from their sheaths and started to walk with a slowly increasingly speed towards him, until they actually ran towards him. One more started to cast a spell and the last one, well he just started to run away with the girl still hanging over his shoulders. Unfortunately none of them would even manage to land a hit on the stranger as they have greatly underestimated their opponent.

'Tch' As the last of his mages flew past him and into the nearest wall, it became more than clear that Dahau was annoyed with the recent events. This mage was stronger than the runts Dahau had brough along, meaning that he himself had to step in. Sure Dahau could just as easily leave, he didn't care for the fools that just got taken out, nor did he care much for the girl they tried to take with them. But Dahau was a prideful man and wasn't going to let this insolence go by unpunished. So he stepped forwards, slowly. 'Don't get mistaken... you are not brave. This isn't valor, you simply have forgotten to fear death.... allow me to reacquaint you with it!' The moment Dahau had spoked out his last word he started to power up. Out of nowhere his magic increased a tenfold, which was strange for others because he always kept his magical presence unnoticeable making him go by as a normal human being for the most part. His cloak fluttered from the sheer magical pressure that was now noticeable across town. Yet midway through he suddenly stopped as a large shadow was being cast over him, his opponent and everyone in Cedar. Something was off, it was a clear day without a single cloud in the sky. And as Dahau looked up to what had appeared above them even he couldn't believe what he saw. 'What the hell!'

High above Cedar was a large silhouette, blackened out by the sun. Yet it was distinctively clear what it actually was. It was a dragon! Not a an airship a wyvern or any other flying creature. But a real dragon soared over the town and it didn't seem it was just going to pass by, even if it was still hundreds of meters up into the air, Dahau could practically feel the vile and destructive intent of this horrifying beast. It had came here to kill, to slaughter. No that wasn't it, it was here for a one-sided annihilation.
Without any further delay and as if the dragon could actually read Dahau's mind it started to open its large maw. From which a black beam would appear and shoot down straight into the outer edges of the town.

For a moment every sounds was gone, deafened by the trembling music of destruction. And a large flash of light would blind everyone in town. And the Dragon roared, yet Dahau he knew it wasn't roaring. No it was laughing, it was taunting the human beneath it. Which to the Dragon were nothing but meager insect.

His partner didn't even look him over long enough before teasing him about how she saw two fish out of the water and not just the one he was holding up. He shot her a grin and shook his head. "Yeah, yeah. Just because I was in the water with them doesn't mean I'm as dense as a fish, you know? Plus, I'm a dog. Not a fish." He spoke back at her. "Is it a goal of yours to eat so much cake that you get as plump as this fish? I think you could go for twins if you do end up doing that." He shot her an even bigger grin after his counter tease. "Any ways, let's get out of here. This should be enough for the client. Hopefully the fist here reproduce quickly because I probably just killed well over half of the population in this part of the water too. All the more reason to get out of here then, huh?" He continued speaking and then grabbed the giant fish up onto his shoulders and started to walk. "Make sure to get all the supplies we have too. Don't want to leave them accidentally." He let out a yawn after speaking to his partner and then continued walking into the town.

The duo would get looked at by most of the people they passed by due to the giant fish the duel-eyed demon was carrying over his body. The fish was pretty massive compared to what the people were used to so they could not help but stare, especially with it being a town where mages were not common in so they never got to see any great feats of strength or magic. "Hi." Cirven would speak out to those he saw staring at him and give them a nod or even take one hand off the fish to wave to them. He felt it was awkward and rude for him to not speak back to those who were staring even though it was more rude of them to do the staring.

As he made his way through the more market-like area of the town, his nose would pick up on a familiar scent. A scent he had not been able to find a some time. The scent was sweet like some sort of pastry but at the same time it had a furry animal smell to it. He couldn't piece together who it was at first and turned his head all around to see if he could figure out who it was. He also could only get a slight whiff of the scent due to the giant fish on his back so it made things harder for him to track. "Who is it...?" He mumbled out loud and continued to look around the area until his eyes found who he was looking for standing near a soup restaurant. "Nohe-" A jolt of pain shot through his head as he tried to speak out a name that he could not remember correctly causing him to drop to one knee and drop the fish onto the ground. He managed to stand back up and the pain subsided but another name for the fox woman came to his mind. "Eris? Eris!" He spoke out her name and then quickly made his way towards her. "Where the hell did you go?
Last I remember is your joined the crew just to suddenly poof not too long after. What happened?
" His question was quickly followed up by a feeling deep inside of the demon's chest welling up.

He could feel something powerful near them. Something so strong that it made his stomach churn. Then the shadow of something large came over him and those around him from above. He looked up to see a dragon in the skies above Cedar, roaring out and firing beams of dark energy into the outskirts of the city!

"Can't have a reunion with you without some sort of catastrophe happening,
can I? It's almost like you just happen to bring trouble when you find me or something, isn't it?
" He didn't completely realize that the fox-like woman had forgotten who she was yet but he knew that their focus would be shifted to a bigger issue other than them needing to talk to each other. Cirven took up his mantle as CEO of the West Fiore Trading Company and quickly got onto a magical com he had between himself and those on the company ship by pressing his ear with one of his fingers. "I know you saw or felt what is going on here and because of that I need you to get any people in Cedar on the ship as you can and get out of here. We will buy you time in doing that." He removed his finger from his ear and turned to the two women with him. "Looks like we have some work to do, huh? Will be like old times a bit, at least for me because you two don't really know each other..." The demon stretched his body out as he spoke to both women knowing that the situation could get awkward. "Either way, Aliannah this is Eris and vice versa for you, foxy."

Ryo didn’t give any outward show of emotion as he met Dahau’s eyes evenly, yet he kept the rest of his attention on the men that were around him. However, when he heard the sentence that Dahau spoke he only shook his head slowly “This is not Heroism. It is atonement for the sins I have committed.” He said quite simply almost as if he was bored of the idea as a whole. As the men approached him he spoke to Gora in their silent method “Don’t let the one holding the girl get away. Kill him, and make sure the girl is safe before you return to me.” He ordered his wolf.

The beast nodded and bounded off down a side street knowing where he could head off the mage who had started to run away. As the rest, neared Ryo pulled out playing cards and moved closer. The two with swords approached first coming together to attack him, but with a slash to the one on his right his silver blade sang out and sliced straight through the man’s weapon and into his chest before Ryo kicked him away with his inhuman strength. The other didn’t make it near as far as Ryo sent three cards slamming into his chest each one filled with magical energy sending him flying into a wall past Dahau himself. The one that started a spell only just managed to start it before Ryo was on him his sword through the man’s stomach while his fangs had found the man’s neck and drinking from him Ryo let his inhumanity show out strong and proud. When he was done he threw the man away like one would a trash bag full of garbage standing now sword drawn, blood along the lower half of his mouth, and unhurt. The sentence that the man spoke made Ryo smile a wide fanged smile. He shook his head slowly as his eyes went black as pitch and he started to power up himself a purple glow coming to him as his power started to become apparent. Once his was on a level with Dahau he spoke “I have forgotten to fear death. However, it takes a man to kill a monster!” he said his voice steel sharp.

Meanwhile, while they were posturing Gora had run through Cedar shedding his smaller form and taking on his much larger battle form. The size gave him speed and he soon outpaced the evil wizard. As the man passed by the side street that Gora was resting in the Dire wolf leapt out and used his massive paw and claws to trip the man slicing up his legs, while he gently picked up the woman in his larger mouth as gentle as a mother moving her pup. With his prize, he moved to where he thought it was safest outside of the town and in the forest around it.

Ryo’s coat fluttered much like Dahau’s cloak, but then he saw the shadow the same time as his opponent. His eyes became human again as he looked upwards quickly. He couldn’t believe it, he couldn’t understand why, or how he was seeing what he was seeing but there it was clear as day. It was a dragon. He knew from the shape, from the shadow, and from the feeling of terror that was starting to crawl up his spine. Watching in terrible fear he saw the beam that destroyed a lot of the outer rim of the city and he only hoped that Gora hadn’t been in the path of attack.

He heard the sound of the dragon, but he knew it wasn’t a roar, there was too much mirth in the sound, and that was how he knew it was a laugh. Slowly his blood began to grow cold and he shook his head slowly “Not again, I will not let it happen again. No one shall know the pain of losing their home!!” He ignored the dark wizard he was about to fight and instead started to draw cards filling both hands full his sword back in the sheath on his hip.

Post by Aliannah 14th July 2017, 12:55 pm

    Bloom

Blonde hair whisking around her waist the female merely rolled here eyes at the weak comeback. She was patient though as the man continued to dish out weak teasing. "You smell like a wet dog." She countered to his correction towards him.

The moment that he commented on the amount of cake she was eating Aliannah pulled out another cake and her fork and started to eat. "You know that I burn through calories faster than anything. This is the easiest way to get it. Would you rather me die?" The girl was right, the moment that Alyia had entered her body was the moment that she became hungry all the time and never gained any weight and had to continuously eat something. I didn't have to be good food as her body wouldn't be harmed by it.

With the comment of killing over half the population the Angel looked back at the destruction that had just happened and she sighed, placing her hands at her temples. The blonde had already packed up all of the supplies by the time that her teammate had finally gotten himself out of the water, she was now the responsible one. Well to some extent.

She silently followed behind Cirven and pulled her hood back over her head, she didn't want her face to one of those to be remembered, not after what Alyia had told her had happened in her previous life. The life of fame and splendor was not for her.

The duo was a sight to behold as they walked through the city. One man, drenched in water carrying a fish that was larger than the person that was following him, and the person following him cloaked with only a bit of blonde hair exposed to the world. Aliannah didn't smile nor did she frown she simply held a blank expression on her face as she followed the outgoing and friendly blue haired creature dubbed her partner.

The girl looked at the ground as they walked to make sure that her face was well hidden under the cape. She paused a moment when she noticed something out of the corner of her eye, masks. She wouldn't have to look at the ground any longer and she wouldn't have to worry about her face being exposed. She wasn't exactly supposed to be around, not after she had disappeared with only her previous Guild Master knowing where she went.

Taking one last look at her partner she quickly dashed off for a second, he would be fine without her for just a second. Running over the stand she pulled the mask off of the display and placed it on her face before walking over to the register and paying for her purchase.

    Mask:

It took her only minutes, but that was long enough for her to come back to her partner on the ground with the fish next to him. Panic stuck her and she raced over to him ready to pick him up and carry him off when he suddenly spoke out a name and suddenly stood up, knocking the blonde girl to ground. She landed on her butt and she gripped her hood, making sure that it wouldn't fall off as she fell.

Taking in a deep breath the girl looked up and glared daggers at her partner, she didn't know why she cared. He was like a roach, never could be taken down. Her lips twisted into a slightly feral frown before she got back up and dusted herself off before grabbing the fish that her partner had dropped and swung it over her shoulder. Now this was a sight to see as the fish was larger than her.

The girl made her way over to where Cirven had planted himself, talking to a fox lady. But she paused for a moment as something flew over the heads of the people in Cedar. Aliannah could feel a strong pull from what had flown over them and she looked at where the creature had disappeared off to, her wings itching to expand and to fly after what had gone by. The Angel no longer paid attention to the conversation that was occurring between the two people that she stood next to, she didn't care in the slightest. She didn't care that Cirven had ordered for an evacuation of the people in the area.

Without a word as the blue haired person seemed to be motioning to her the girl took the fish that she had been carrying and swung it into the Demon boy before her wings burst from her back and she took off into the air. She rocketed up to the level that she would be able to see the beast that had flown over them only seconds earlier.

She could see it, a reptile. A dragon. With a sneer the girl continued to fly in place as she simply watched it. It was huge. Her eyes turning red the girl began to look to it's aura.

    Black.

There was noting but the abyss of blackness that surrounded the dragon. Her eyes narrowed as she continued to fly in place. The dragon opened its mouth and a bright beam came from it. Destruction followed wherever the beam traveled and the female only watched with analytical eyes before a noise came from the dragon. It wasn't a roar, oh no, it was a laugh. A taunting laugh that would be able to strike fear into the bones of even the worst.

The familiar aura of magical energy which the Foxen lady felt prior only grew stronger, as the one who was producing it seemingly drew closer. But not only his, several other magical signatures could be sensed in the distance as well. It seemed that today would be a rather exciting day to be alive, as something was certainly going down somewhere in this place. Something that was normally peaceful, it's ordinary being thrown into the endless chaos. Something of it tickled the female's spirit. She couldn't quite place it, which most likely meant that this would be something her previous self could enjoy rather well. But the current girl? She was unsure. While she desired to investigate what was happening on the other end of this god forgotten place, she was also drawn to the slowly approaching person. These situations were rather infuriating, as she could never properly decide. So in the end, time decided for her. A blue-haired gentleman with a fish in his hand emerged from what seemed to be nothing more than a blur created by Eris' own eyes. And for a moment, he spoke. But only a moment, as he quickly fell to the ground. In any other situation, the vixen would have jumped straight to him, try to help him up. But for some reason, she too seemed rather paralyzed by what he tried to utter. A jolt of sharp pain would travel through her head, gone as quickly as it arrived.

    "What in the world...?

Words spoken for no one but herself. Eventually, the boy would pick himself up and call to the girl again, this time addressing her by her actual name. That was quite a surprise. Or perhaps not really. He seemed familiar, but not enough for the fox girl to recognize in her current state. So she naturally figured out that he must have met her in her prior life. Make no mistake, an event such as this was tremendous and rendered the female extremely lucky. After all, someone who had known her would be a perfect place to seek memories of the past! There was a different problem, however. A certain... uneasiness. As if the air was drier than ever before. At the end of the day, she was an inhuman beast, her senses different to those of a regular human, or even immortal creature. She was capable of sensing it, the incoming doom. Only, she wasn't able to really realize it herself until it was far too late. The shadow didn't even cover the nearby church that was in flames, it covered a majority of the down. Far in the sky and showing off its massive scale as well, the creature was one to truly behold. And the roar attack came faster than anyone could predict or foresee. The beam of what appear to be almost light itself was especially painful for Eris, as she tried to quickly put on her simple goggles, yet still got completely blinded. Enhanced senses could be sometimes more of a curse than a blessing, it seemed. Stumbling around in complete disarray, she was unable to separate left from right for few seconds, until she finally managed to shake it all off. And while the edges of her vision were still blurry and white, the world around her slowly spinning in circles and her ears ringing, she was able to at least speak out and answer a simple question.

"Eris is afraid she does not recognize you, mister. Eris also has no recollection of any 'Crew', though she can see mister was able to replace Eris successfully after she disappeared as you say.

She would try to explain her situation a bit with the living catastrophe looming above them, as well as go on and tease the man a little bit while her eye caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a hooded and masked woman taking to the skies behind Cirven. For some reason, such manner of speaking seemed completely natural right now. Unfortunately, they did not have enough time to exchange such pleasantries, as was apparent by the prior explosion. Her senses finally falling into the norm, the vixen would straighten herself and take in a deep breath.

"Eris apologizes, but the situation seems little dire. So with a little hop and drop, she is going to help!"

Using a little peculiar way of speaking, she would promptly leave just like the other girl, though she herself had no wings, only three tails. Still, she was able to jump up quite high, as she suddenly found herself standing on top of the nearby houses and running to the biggest roof she could find. Took only a few seconds, but they felt like an eternity with all the adrenaline running through her body. And finally, she would stop as her gaze was directed upward. There it was. The dragon. From this point, it was kind of hard to really even see how it looked like aside from its general shape, but it appeared to be almost ethereal and ghastly in its form, leaving behind a misty trail of dark that was reminiscent of setting mist in a nigh-fallen graveyard. Surely anyone looking at this creature would shudder in fear, maybe try to hide even if such action was completely pointless. But Eris... felt delighted. In fact, she found herself shivering. But not in fear, in excitement! Unlike many, she did not even know what death really meant. Once a goddess and now still an immortal being, she could never truly comprehend the concept itself. Even if her body was to be destroyed here by the beast, she would come back. And the only true damage would be a town wiped out of existence. But what would she care for that? She had no one here that she cared for, thus such thing mattered not to her. And so, she would slowly move one of her hands over the handle of her first place, ready to draw as a smile widened across her expression. She was ready.

"Čas od času je třeba trochu zariskovat!" (You need to risk a little from time to time!)

And with those words that could only be understood by her and no one else, the black blade adorned with golden patterns would be drawn, gleaming in the sunlight that seemed to be slowly fading away from this world. Would she truly be able to defeat an enemy like this without a proper magic? Who really knew. But if yes, then she would surely go down in the history of this world. Somehow, she liked that thought.
