    GRACE UNDER FIRE
Her footsteps sank softly into the dry grass, wind whipping up a frenzy of leaves over the clearing. Even now, at the end of February, winter still stubbornly clung onto the edges of this world, barely a taste of spring in the breeze. Here, winter was cold, dry, and snowless, a rather dreary sight compared to its vibrancy during the warmer seasons. She sighed, breath puffing out in a small cloud in front of her. At least it was all going to change soon. Although the letter mage herself had never been to the demon planet of Akuma, it was a world that she had heard much about. The weather there was often uncomfortably and stiflingly warm, due to its thicker atmosphere, and so beneath her thick jacket, Sorano had prepared her usual summer outfit of a simple blouse and pleated skirt.

Her senses reached out, slipping into formation with the gate that led into Akuma. The Wakusei Portals, powerful devices for travel were something that the fairies had been forced to grow accustomed to after their exile from Fiore. This was a location where laws ceased to exist, where creatures passed freely from planet to planet. Although they currently resided in Tetsukazu, they were unable to survive simply on resources there. Mages had to go to Earthland to find work and earn money, causing this to be a major point of traffic for the now much-diminished guild. It was here, in front of one of the barely visible, shimmering veils leading to Akuma that she stopped to await the arrival of her guildmates.

It was here, and here today that Fairy Tail would regain their position in the world of mages. It was here, with the rescue of the two celebrities that they would be able to return home once more. A wistful look upon her face, Sorano would recall how she never would have expected to have to go to such measures in order to return her beloved family back to the land she thought she would never leave. She wasn’t really always right, huh?

Post by Mura Kensho 28th February 2017, 11:39 am

He had got the message clearly. This was the day that Sorano had decided to send her and her guild out to save two children of the Magic Council, a mission that needed quite the amount of people to accomplish. According to their situation, this would also be their chance of returning back to their home, the good-old residence in Magnolia that had been deserted for so long, ever since the incident happened. Call it an incident or not, it was quite the turn of events for Mura to see his beloved guild get written in the ‘dark’ section. Perhaps time had come for them to regain their legal position, a position that was almost like a birthright. They deserved to be called legal mages again…

Everything was packed; his antiquity was safeguarded in the pocket on his right legging. Harusame was sheathed, while the entire shaft was bound in a green cloth. He’d bound it tight with dark strings and bands, until it was preferably packed in. His armor could stay at home, because the shaman had not much taste for it anyways. And as he found himself arriving at the giant space of the Wakusei Portals, the untold, mysterious plane to new worlds, he suddenly asked out: “I guess that this is it, then. This could make us return…” The bluish spirit ball nodded, while the greenish spirit ball looked around the spaces. “Never in a million years would I find knowledge of this place myself… this is terrifying. Mura, where the hell are we going, again?” the dragon ghost kept hissing and growling at every piece of light that passed them on their way.

“We should be there soon,” he warned the two ghosts, before a slim spark emitted the picture and revealed his location at the world of demons, Akuma. Immediately, his feet started walking as if he had an idea of where Sorano’s exact location was; he had to stand strong, you know. No one would want a passive Ace in situations like these, would they?

Takumi's cloak fluttered behind him as he walked, his weapon sheathed safely at his side in the form of a sword. Today was the day Fairy Tail would regain some respect from the magic council, and save the two children who had been kidnapped. His exceed, walking next to him, was silent, a sight unusual to see, as she was usually scolding Takumi. Takumi, meanwhile, thought as he walked, about why two children would even be taken to a place like this. He continued to ponder as he walked, very nearly tripping over the rough ground, having been unsteady and limping slightly since that mission with Hera. There had been a huge jagged chunk of metal impaling his leg to be fair... he winced as he recalled the events that had given him his limp. The roof collapsing, nearly killing that man, destroying an old guild hall... it had been quite an adventure. Albeit a destructive and harmful one, but an adventure nonetheless.

Mashyuu trudged through the forest, working his way around large trees to head to the Fairy Tail guild hall, located on a different realm. He had just found the former Guild Master, Kanix, his Ex-Wife, had returned from the dead and she decided to join Sabertooth. Mashyuu felt Sorano, his friend and an all around good person should know. He pulled his brown gi shut over his chest and tightened the belt to hold his silver sword in place. Standing near a portal he could see Sorano, her back turned towards him. He had a new face but with his memories restored he could recognize her smell.

Slowly Mashyuu walked up to the woman from her left flank and called out to her. "Oi! Sorano, it's me! Mashyuu. My face changed and.. I lost a lot of my powers. I came by to tell you something. Kanix is back. But.. she is joining Sabertooth. Umm." Mashyuu looked around and noticed she was just standing outside of the portal. "What ya up to? You need any help? I just got a new sword and bow. I'd love to give em a good work out." Mashyuu patted his blades hilt and held up the chain wrapped around his left wrist that produced his energy bow.

The Earth God leaned against a near by tree and smiled at Sorano, he had always enjoyed doing jobs with her and she had saved his life more than once, he owed her for sure and was more than willing to do nearly anything she asked of the Earth Wizard.

    GRACE UNDER FIRE
Sorano turned as the sound of grass rustling lightly behind her glanced upon her ears. Ah, Mura. She had known she could depend on the Ace, him being a wonderful teammate who had never hesitated to help out. “Hey, Mura, Kyuken, Zirconis. Thanks for coming.” However, it would appear that she had spoken too soon, as another familiar figure would approach from a different direction. Takumi, yet another very loyal member of the guild. Though her relations with him were not quite as close, Sorano knew that he definitely had potential to be an excellent figure in the guild someday, “The same to you, Takumi,” she would add hurriedly, knowing that repeating herself here was the best option. Here, a solemn aura prevailed, wrapping about them in the dim morning air. Even though so few of her guildmates had deemed it necessary to come help in this endeavor, at least the child had people with her whom she trusted with all her being. Seeing as no one else would show up, the young Guild Master would heft her bag up on her shoulder, moving towards the portal. “Come on guys, the sooner we get this over with, the better.”

However, just as she was about to step into the dizzying whirl of light that would lead to Akuma, land of the demons, yet another familiar voice would sound from behind. “Oi, Sorano! It’s me, Mashyuu!” Surprise would appear visibly upon the usually aloof face, and Sorano turned, eyes widening at a very changed version of an old friend. Gone was the overwhelming aura of magical power, and his face had indeed changed. Now, while the same old determination and kindly heart were still at the soul of things, there was no doubt that her old Sabertooth friend had gone through stuff. “Mashyuu?” It was uttered questioningly, as though the letter mage couldn’t quite register the information. He would continue on with news about the Sixth, telling how the faery mother had re-surfaced at Sabertooth.

“Is that so? Huh… Well, thank you, Mashyuu, it’s kind of you to come all this way.” Turning back towards the portal, Sorano prepared to reject his offer of help, initially believing it to be something unsuitable for this particular mission. That was, until she did some brief, quick thinking. The magic council – were they going to accept this from a dark guild? Perhaps, by having the well-known and beloved Sabertooth with them… Would it make things easier? That such a figure trusted the word of Fairy Tail? Nodding, Sorano would gesture for the man to join them. “Sure, we could use some help. We’re trying to rescue two of the Magic Councilmembers’ children from the demons, who have apparently captured them. See, we’ve been trying to win over their attention in order to reverse the exile because of Lucie.” With such explanation, she would enter Akuma.

It rippled once more. After so many, many years, they had visitors! At last! Their duties could be fulfilled! Not only the two loud and irritating ones from last time, but these too? Finally some excitement. A forked tongue slithered out of the gaping mouth, a gruesome grin hanging off of the demons face. With a gesture to its companions, the quartet of natives to the land would begin to creep out towards the newcomers. They'd be given a sure welcome.

Post by Mura Kensho 8th March 2017, 11:03 am

As soon as his feet entered the new plane, he spotted her face noticing his arrival. Kyuken and Zirconis soared above each shoulder of his, while the shaman smiled with the ever so tired eyes. “Greetings… hmpf, I’m being too formal again,” he commented, while his hand adjusted the katana out of irritation. “Yes, you begin to sound like me…” the samurai ghost sighed, “Nonetheless is it nice to report for duty, Guild Master.” Mura would close his eyes and smile by the statement, before noticing Takumi’s arrival. The Lightning Dragon was never late for the party, it appeared. “Nice, you’re here as well, Takumi,” Mura greeted the slayer, “…” His eyes scrolled around the plane, before he began thinking; did everyone get the message of this mission? The number was quite smaller than expected… but in the end, it wavered him not.

What affected him, though, was Mashyuu’s arrival; the Earth Dragon whom Mura had only met once in the past appeared to feel ready to help them on their mission, in which Sorano accepted. Mura barely heard any of the latter, but was shocked by the news of Kanix’ return. “S-She returned..?” he almost mumbled out loud. In the span of a second, pictures passed his mind - from when they were in the desert to his B-Rank Mage Exam, and all other times where he was with her. Their beloved Faery Mother had returned from absence, in which the reason mattered not the least for the younger shaman. Kyuken’s eyes began popping out hearts by the news. “SHE SURVIVED!?!??!?!?” he cried out loud, “YES! YES!!! YES!!!!! I’M SO HAPPY FOR MY LIFE RIGHT NOW!!!” Tears bursted out from his eyeballs like fountains, and even Mura found it strange…

The Earth Mage had decided to help them out, in which the team consisted of four at the moment; Sorano, him, Takumi and Mashyuu. Combined with the two spirits, Hoshi and Coal, they were just about as many as Mura found more than critical for the mission’s success. After Sorano’s words, she entered the portal, and Mura found himself thinking. A small tear had built upon his eyelid, but he quickly wiped it off and thought: So Kanix is alive… and joined Sabertooth... I’m so glad. Kyuken and Zirconis began pushing Mura’s back towards the gate, in which he noticed their intention. He nodded quickly and thought: I’ll live by your teachings, then… and until the day when I meet you again, watch me. “Takumi, Coal! Our Guild Master is waiting..!” the shaman prompted the two Fairies, before leaping into the portal that lead to the world of Akuma.

The land looked as vast as Mura could imagine, since that he had experienced the surroundings of the Underworld; the very sound was different from sounds on the previous plane. His eyes were on full-time job now. “…” He could feel the ground shake a little, and the tense atmosphere only added to the worry, “… This world looks large.” His Oracle Bracer began noting him about the plane, but a few seconds after he began pressing onto the screen like buttons, it turned into statics. That would only mean one thing… other hostile, magical figures were approaching. “Guys, ten o’clock,” he warned Sorano and the others that were soon to arrive, moving his gaze towards the large lavine.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“There they are!” a deep, eerie voice announced, “The newcomers! How lucky of us!” His grin began echoing through the land, even audible by the humanoid mages. The large, stringed demon barely even had to give the sign before his fellow warriors exposed themselves by the edge of the lavine, the first ones charging after Sorano first. Those held long chains that one might’ve not wanted to touch willingly, in which a clone of Mura passed right by. Other demons wielding small warhammers began targeting what they felt like even newer newcomers that were late to the feast. He knew that Sorano could handle these guys for quite a while, perhaps longer than he could; however, if they expected their arrival already, then the shaman wondered if they knew about the two kids… it was worth and theoretically obvious enough to see. A clone, just to be on the safe side...

    Skill Used:

OOC: Okay, they've been awaiting us! From the beginning, we'll fight our way to the kiddoes!!! A group is after the GM, other group is awaiting Mashyuu and Takumi to keep them from helping me and Sorano. Show 'em >:3

    Post by Haru-senpai 8th March 2017, 2:05 pm

Hera stood on a rock overlooking the path she'd been walking on for awhile now. Letting the magical pull of something "weird" draw her. It's what she usually did when she was looking for a Wakusei Portal. "something weird" might've been vague, but somehow when you'd felt all different kinds of magic all your life, the Wakusei Portals stood out. Growing up at Fairy Tail, she was that exact case.

She sat on the rock, eating a sandwich next to her Exceed and partner. Rose. The dark red colored Exceed was happily sipping away at a slurpee as she would swish her tail. Overlooking the huge forested mountain range in front of them. The Phoenix Mountains. Eventually, she felt another mage somewhere nearby, as she began looking left to right down on the forest ground beneath her. Nothing.

"You feel that too? Feels like Mura's magic power." Rose said as she would set down her cup on the rock, without a trash can nearby. With a nod, Hera would look to Rose who nodded back at the same time as they usually did. Hopping off the rock, the camera would pan upward behind her as Rose would grab onto her, the sound of nothing but the wind...and a few birds could be heard as Rose's white wings appeared and coasted on the breeze, her feathers flickering a bit beautifully in the wind as they coasted above.

"I think I see him!!!" Hera shouted as she spotted the young sword mage, who had a magic potential probably greater than any she'd ever seen except maybe Eris, her and her dad. Not to mention his connection to the spirit and celestial spirit realm. As she approached, she could sense several others nearby. Including Sorano, and Takumi's magic power. A strangers. But somehow it felt like Kanix and Ahote's magic power. Connected to the earth.

Pointing down, Rose nodded, deciding to remain stealthy and not expose themselves just yet. She listened from the bushes as they discussed various happenings. Mura as colorful as ever, yet seemed to be focused in his expressions. Her eyes moved to the Sabertooth mage, as he talked she focused her vision on him. She recalled a picture of Kanix in the Guild Hall with this man, now it was probably a half broken picture in the overturned Magnolia Guild Hall, but one day it would rest on it's walls again. She smiled as she recalled the picture, as the guy leaned on a tree in suave fashion. She wondered if he remembered his father, she'd heard that Heero, Kanix, and the father of her children had all been close during the time when Heero had brought Kanix to Fairy Tail, keeping her safe from Basilisk Fang as she eventually rose to become the master of Fairy Tail itself, the successor of Heero and the predecessor of Sorano herself.

Remaining quiet until Sorano had completed her explanation, Hera and Rose's eyes widened as they noticed people began walking through the almost invisible portal, that shimmered every now and then between two huge trees; especially as people walked through. As Hera saw Takumi and Mura, she blushed a bit. Having a small crush on both of them, she would notice them move too through the portal. Looking to her right, she noticed Rose was gone; and already flying toward the portal.

"HEY WAIT UP!" Hera said loudly as she took off running for the portal. As she hit it, stars would stretch out briefly as if she was traveling across the galaxy at warp speed. Appearing at a slide through the portal out of nowhere, she looked around. Sweatdropping at her sudden arrival, once more, she would rub her pink hair and wave awkwardly with a weird anime sound coming from the universe itself.

"Hey guys.....uh...Master." she said with a sweatdrop, blushing a bit as she turned to Sorano and bowed with both arms at her side karate style. Fiercely respectful, as Eris had literally whipped, slapped, and hung her off of cliffs to get her to act right toward her superiors. Even though Hera could be considered a stronger mage, Sorano was her master and probably the better mage of the two morally. Although I'm not sure she has feelings so I don't know if that last part is accurate.......

As Rose explained to Sorano that they'd gotten the Job Letter a bit late after helping out Hunting Village with a small matter, but arrived afterward, Rose continued to talk to Sorano about the details of the mission, and how they would present themselves afterward.

"Oh my god...the sky really is red." Hera said as she looked up, seeing a huge city off in the distance, she looked around. The landscape really was just like Earthland's. Akuma had different plants and animals though, she could just tell. Her eyes set again on the guy with spiky hair and a chain wrapped around his arm, not to mention he carried swords and was truly ripped. She smiled a bit at him, saluting with a flick of her wrist. Turning her pink hair away from him, but wondering what kind of magic he used.

Rose would continue to talk to Sorano about semantics and details. But it seemed their studious and serious conversation would have to wait as Mura said he sensed company.

"Oi, Master. Is it true they really did kidnap some kids that belong to the Magic Council???" it was strange, Hera calling Sorano master. Since they were around the same age. Sorano having known her own Dad for more years than she herself had due to her tutelage under Eris to actually learn how to use magic. "Tsk...they were probably watching Earthland's Portal like a hawk!!!" Hera growled a bit, putting a hand on her hip and balling up another fist angrily. "Protect the Guildmaster, and Takumi! Blow off body parts but don't kill anyone!" Hera said, knowing they needed to capture and interrogate one or all of them. As for the largest Demon flying toward them now, they might have to kill it to move on. Mura's magical bracer seemed to be having technical difficulties, so these things were definitely made of magic, or demon mages of some kind themselves, not normal creatures that inhabited Akuma.

As several string demons, made of literally yarn and string approaching them across the landscape with a few rocks here and there in the open plains outside of town, along with a few trees spread out. There were 3 of them charging Sorano and Mura and 2 of them coming toward Mashyuu and Takumi, with Hera at the back still near the portal she'd come into. The larger demon seemed to want to hang back and watch the show or something.

Wind began to swirl around Hera as the demons neared their location, their battle screeches heard. She would focus as unnatural magical wind began to build around her. With a serious expression she closed and opened her eyes. With a wave of her hand a multi-colored enchantment went off.

Three dragons made of different colored light would spring from Hera. The green one would slam into Sorano, increasing her natural health, a red one would whirl around and slam into Mashyuu, increasing his weapon and physical strength, something she felt he would appreciate. Lastly, a blue dragon of magic would soar toward Takumi, slamming into him and granting him with the power of flight, and the speed of a dragon, more than his usual already amazing speed, along with allowing him to fly around.

"Arms! Armor! Vernier!" she would exclaim as Sky Dragon Magic went off in the area with a loud roar of a dragon from the beasts as the multi colored light settled into her friends. The wind and light dying down now as the demons approached. Enchanted with Dragon Magic, they would all find their abilities augmented beyond natural reason. Except Mura, Mura would be fine just as Mura (LOL). Hera would then clench a fist.

Rose herself would ReQuip a giant warhammer into her hands, with a cat with wings at the head of it as the hammer was about as tall as Mashyuu, way to big for a little Exceed to wield it looked like. Whirling the hammer with huge wind gusts at it's size, Rose would slam it into the ground for intimidation near the Guild Master and swish her tail.

"You call those hammers?!" Rose would say as she swung her hammer in a huge arc, just to threaten the demons a bit as they got closer.

Hera herself would walk up to Mashyuu and Takumi, standing with them side by side.

"You guys take em out! I've been working on my Sky Dragon Slayer magic....I'll heal you guys and run support, so just go before I get fired up!" surprisingly, Hera was trying to use her Sky Dragon Magic as opposed to her Fire Dragon Slayer magic for once and rushing in destroying everything.

"Hey, informing my friends is a job that I need to take very seriously. Especially where a former Guild Master is involved." Mashyuu responded but quickly turned his head to look at Mura, a man he really didn't know but guessed based by his garb the man was some sort of requip mage or really loved Samurai styles. "Yes really, she's alive and I just came from making sure that she has her memories back. It was a good fight. I get the feeling she will be coming back to Fairy Tail soon." Mashyuu explained to whoever would listen. It was then that Sorano started to move through the portal after telling Mashyuu what the group was about to do. "All right, ya know I haven't saved anyone in like.. two days. Lets do it." The group moved through the portal and suddenly there was a woman standing next to the group explaining something to Sorano about getting a letter from the Fairy Tail Master late. Mashyuu's glowing blue eyes narrowed for a moment while he walked up to the woman and smelled her, almost invading her personal space. He knew her scent but didn't say anything to her about who she was related to.

"I take it that city is where we are going? Is the plan to storm the city or simply sneak in?" Mashyuu asked. It wasn't long after that a group of seemingly demons made of string started to run at the group. Hera jumped back and cast a spell to increase Mashyuu's strength, had he not merged with the Goddess inside him the power flux would have unleashed a sort of false slayer force, luckily though he was in a better state now and wasn't about to lose control. As the monsters rushed forward the Earth Slayer took a single step towards the trio and opened his palm. A swirling force of sand rose up in his left palm while he grabbed his sword and drew the silvered weapon. "This mess is beneath me. Secret Art: Earth Gods Sand Twister!" Mashyuu shouted and flicked his arm like a whip, hurling the small tornado of sand. The magical sand expanded rapidly until it was both fifteen meters high and wide and rocketed at the trio of monsters. Mashyuu pushed his spell to slam into the three, ripping the strings of the demons before the twister knocked them back and at last held them in place, preventing the demons from moving. "Someone finish these things, Hera, throw me at the leader." Mashyuu demanded, wanting to end things as soon as possible.

Post by Takumi Yoshino 15th March 2017, 8:52 am

Takumi noted how few people were around, how few members had come, saddened by this. Do they not care about the guild? was his thought as what seemed to be everyone that was coming showed up. As they stepped through the portal, demons instantly attacked, much to his annoyance. "Guys! Get out of the way!" He shouted after Mashyuu and Hera had taken out a large portion of the demons. He hoped they listened.... because it was time for the cruel blossom to make an appearance.

Takumi let out a cry as the giant lightning blossom began forming above his head, growing larger and larger, becoming a massive thing 3 meters in diameter. As Takumi shouted one more time, the blossom would explode, taking anything within 15 meters out, and throwing him to the ground with the force. It did a good job taking out the demons.... but it had a side effect of being like a suicide bomb, dealing a bit of damage to Takumi himself as well. A few seconds after the flower exploded, Takumi stood up again, looking a bit more battered and bruised now, cloak torn in places, blood spotting his arm from where he landed on a rock. But there was a grin clear on his face, and anybody who knew him knew he was just getting started.

    GRACE UNDER FIRE
Sorano readied herself in a fighting position as well, as the auras of demons would soon enter her peripheral vision. Mura would call out a warning, getting to it before she herself did, and his aura would flare with the gathering of energy as well. “Remember not to kill any! We have to be careful: there may be a way to negotiate.” While there were only five demons at first, already the letter mage was sensing stronger, more powerful possible opponents ahead. Hopefully their small group would be enough… It was then that the monstrosity of a magical aura would crash down around her, stunning the child for a brief instant. It was one of the disadvantages of having an aural sensing ability – already powerful magical auras were amplified, and with the H-ranked Hera? Well, Sorano had thought she’d gotten used to it by now, but it seemed that she had been wrong. Even so, she recovered quickly, and nodded greetings to her guildmate. While the older girl’s personality was quite the opposite of her own, she was a treasured member of the Fairy Tail family.

The awkwardness of Hera’s honorific addressing of her was something the shorter mage felt dearly, however, for the familiarity of Heero’s presence about her made it feel queer, not quite right that someone so powerful would address her as such. But no matter! It was an issue she could spare time for later on – now? Now there was a task to face. “Yes. If what the exceed and fairies’ observations were true, they seemed to have wandered into Akuma by accident. I think they were trying to get into one of the vacation planets, but lost their way… From my readings, demons are highly territorial. They would take intruders as a major offense.”

Preparing a spell in a few quick movements, Sorano felt a sudden rush of warmth speed throughout her veins, like she had taken a breath of refreshing, ice-cold mountain air. Hera’s magic was felt strongly around her, and she would wave a brief thank you back at the slayer. By now, a second wave of demons had appeared, this one twice the number of the previous horde, and from their auras? Stronger, too. Seeing as her Sabertooth friend, Rose, and Takumi seemed to have the first wave down pat, Sorano turned to face the new arrivals. Her finger wrote a fury through the air, and suddenly a large white flag would materialize in her hands, a signal that they were willing to talk. Already, the fighting was beginning to die down, for five small string demons were simply no match for the well-seasoned team of mages. Perhaps, in the back of her mind, a blossom of pride would form.

“We are willing to speak for peaceful terms. Will you allow us to negotiate with your leader?” Magically amplifying her voice so that the demons in hiding, barely visible by aural vision could hear, the letter mage held her breath, anticipating whatever response was to come.

As the first 5 demons are currently already dealt with, there are now 10 other guarding demons of around B-A rank. Their response to Sorano may be rped out by either Hera or Mura - just don't do anything too weird! If there is confusion, y'all should know where to contact me.

Also - aces may spawn more enemies - just keep them logical por favor~

Post by Mura Kensho 17th March 2017, 9:24 am

The battle had surely started, but what sounded like a rather familiar voice came from behind. Was that Hera? She could’ve showed up a little earlier, if it was to him. However, now that she showed up in the end, he wouldn’t mind it and smiled. It wasn’t just him; she changed too fast for him to settle the new spirit. His bracer wouldn’t reveal the location of those kids until that they had taken care of the demonic rush, so he had to contribute as well. Wind began rushing, and the amount of sand which was summoned by Mashyuu’s magic raged around the field like a gust. Takumi’s lightning magic raged even more, bursting light out in a huge rampage that was so classic of him. Sorano appeared to do her thing as well, and the three mentioned mages earned a boost from Hera’s Sky Dragon Slayer Magic. That was quite the fine move; in fact, Mura barely noticed that she neglected him the support. Although, the forth clone behind her felt let down with that dark face of his. Suddenly, the real one accompanied by a last, fifth clone, spotted a white flag appear on Sorano’s grasp. He was about to get the wrong idea, but listening to her words, he was relieved… for now. If she could get some good respond from them, then the situation would ease out.

Some demons were held in place by Mashyuu, in which the three of Mura’s clones took care of them. One swung Harusame around its neck to keep it still, while another tackled the already captured demon’s legs down to keep it locked with his own. A third one would look at them all three, saying: “We’re only here to retrieve two kids, so you have to be patient.” And while the third demon found himself outnumbered by Mura’s clone skill, the real Mura walked towards Sorano, watching the 10 other demonic figures that had arrived. Their magical prowess was far greater than the previous ones’. “Tsk! First you enter our world as if it was some vacation-like hotspot, then you ask of this?” one of the great demons asked in disgust, while eruptions suddenly began to burst in the background of the red atmosphere. It was clearly hostile towards the mages, but something in the eye of the other one said something else. “You should take a look; don’t you think that their actions are sincere enough?” it replied to the first one, causing some blabber between the demons about this. “Even if that would give them any good reason… we’ve barely seen all of their capabilities!” the first demon replied, glancing at Hera and Sorano especially, “You two… I want to crush you with my own feet… so if you promise anything good, then you might be right. Until then, you can all go and die for me.”

OOC: As described, those demons thirst for CHALLENGE. And here's the first one! (sry for something if you find anything weird in my post)

    Post by Haru-senpai 24th March 2017, 10:43 am

As Hera stood back next to Sorano, looking slightly excited. She would hear Mashyuu yell back at her, for some reason it was pretty funny to her. A stoic guy like him loosing patience, and wanting to go right for the head honcho.

She was only a few years older than Sorano, both of them were in their teens but as she looked over to the left, the expression or...lack of expression, on Sorano's face said it all. This clear sightedness, it was why she was in charge. Her father had it too, for all his wildness; he possessed the ability to be calm, and still like a lake. Just like Sorano. With a nod to Sorano, Hera would turn back to Mashyuu; just after the man raised his hand and unleashed a huge sand tornado toward three of the string demons.

"Yes sir!" Hera said, putting her hand up in a salute, and sparkling. This guy had known her father, she would do everything she could to get on his good side; learn from him, and even follow him around if she had too after this. She wanted answers, into the type of guy her father was. She'd heard all the marvelous tales; about how he could fell an army with one motion, how he could call down the heavens themselves, but she wanted to know more, more about him. Heero the man, not the wizard.

As she made a motion forward, she didn't get very far. As she took one step toward Mashyuu, Takumi raised one hand above his head; as electricity began to surge off the ground through the entire area; passing Hera and everyone else, and zooming toward Takumi. Above him in the air, a huge flower of lightning began to appear magically sizzling into existence. Without warning, the flower would explode as several lightning bolts hit the ground at point blank range. It was extremely loud; as the lightning actually sent Takumi himself flying backward. Before she could react, a bolt came flying down toward she and Sorano.

Stepping in front of it, Hera would fiercely backhand the bolt of lightning with her bare hand, causing she and Sorano's hair to wildly fly back from the impact of it. The bolt would coast and sizzle off into a different direction; exploding as Hera's pink hair and Sorano's jet black would settle back down again. Hera's hand was actually smoking from it. Turning toward Takumi, she raised a fist at him comically.

"Wipe that smile off your face! You act as if you just blew ones head off with a perfect shot! You nearly killed yourself! Not to mention one of us!" Hera would then walk over to him and help him up. Looking up at the taller young man who she considered a big brother, she would look somewhat angry actually. But then, she would sparkle and give him a thumbs up; leaning close. "I would've done the same thing for the record..." she said as a chibi before turning and watching more of the string demons come at them from the horizon in the direction of town. When they arrived, Mura's clones were already tying the string demons in knots. Literally. Laughing as Mura's clones tied them up with the string they were made of, Hera leaned back a bit as the group of 10 or so string demons, with a huge one at the forefront arrived. They were stronger than the previous group. This was for sure.

Rose would float next to Mashyuu for now, raising an eyebrow at them.

“You two… I want to crush you with my own feet… so if you promise anything good, then you might be right. Until then, you can all go and die for me.” the largest of them said. This one wasn't a string demon; but an Orge Demon. A large green one with horns. A few of them argued that, they might just be here for the kids. Something about a rival group of demons holding them hostage. Hera listened to every detail. But it seemed, the large green one wanted a piece of Hera or Sorano.

"WHAT?! Out of all these strapping young men you pick on the two girls!!!?!?!?!" Hera would hug onto Sorano and do her best to look cute. "Don't you want one of those guys?!" she pointed at Mura, Takumi, and Mashyuu. "I mean look at that one! He's got muscles in places I didn't even know were places!" Hera said as she pointed at Mashyuu, while still trying to look cute holding onto Sorano.

"Can it you little liar! We're demons, magical creatures, we can sense your power. I just don't believe it myself! There's no way you're stronger than the Demon Lords....such a little child." Hera would blink a few times, in disbelief and then sigh, stepping forward, after a short walk; she stopped in the grass about 20ft from the huge demon as it looked down at her. "Wow, you're serious huh?" the thing would then grunt a laugh and then raise it's foot to step on Hera.

Without a response from Hera, who just stood there as the thing raised it's foot over her. It decided to just step on her like a bug. STOMP! a huge crater of smoke and dust went off, as the thing began to laugh loudly as the smoke cleared. But then it felt it's foot move. With a 'what?!' the thing was shocked, as Hera was shown catching the things entire foot with one finger holding it up as her finger shook a bit under the huge orges weight, easily 30ft tall.

"Is that all you've got? I wouldn't let the Master dirty her skirt with you." Hera said, as a Fairy Tail mage, she specialized in taunting like most of them did. With a mighty roar, the demon would hop back a quick jump, causing the ground to shake, and begin unleashing punches down at the ground at Hera as if he were punching at a cat or a dog. Huge craters erupted here and there, as Hera was shown hopping around each time. Hera would then eventually, stop a giant fist in front of her by raising her hand. The fist was the size of a damn couch as she would just bend one pinky back; as an excruciating CRACK! was heard from the giant ogre bone breaking.

The camera would zoom out, showing the huge field they were in, and even the town in the distance; as the ogres "KYEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" was heard for miles and miles. Flailing and rolling around on the ground comically, as the 13 year old girl held onto his broken pinky finger, the orge pleaded for forgiveness as it flailed here and there.

"WHAT A NAUGHTY ORGE!!! I THOUGHT YOU GUYS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE NICE!!! THERE'S EVEN A MOVIE ON EARTHLAND CALLED SHREK! YOU'RE NOTHING LIKE HIM!" with that; Hera would break another finger with a CRACK! as the Orge howled again.

"SHREK?! I have NO IDEA what you're talking about!?!?!?! YAMETEEEEEE!!!" he pleaded as Hera would bend the broken fingers back at the same time once again.

"You're a disgrace to all orges!!!" Hera said as she had a 30ft tall Orge Demon pleading before her, holding onto it's giant broken fingers. The rest of the string and smaller orge demons could only look on....as sweatdrops appeared on the backs of their heads. "WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN FROM MY PLANET! TELL ME OR I'M BREAKING ALL OF THEM!!!" Hera shouted at the Orge, who tried to call her bluff.

"There's no way you'd be that cruel......"

CRACK, CRACK, CRACK! as the camera would zoom out again, the Orge let out another "KYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAH!" before passing out, completely. His eyes, comical swirliee things as Hera would sigh, turning toward the other group of Demons; her eyes glowing Dragon Slayer red.

"OK! OK! The demons holding the kids are from another group of Demons! These type run the inner cities, and they're way stronger than any of us!" the group of string demons would shiver in fear. "We, we saw the Wakusei Portal activating on our Radars and came to check it out, that's all!!!" Hera would then sigh and look toward Takumi.

"Well, if you're lying, I'll send my friend after you to fry your brains how about that!" Hera said, motioning to Takumi behind her with a thumb point. The other string demons would bow with a "Hai!" obedient to Hera now as she turned back toward the group. "These guys will walk us to the city. Isn't that right?" she said as she BOOTED the hell out of the KOed Ogre, who went flying off into the distance like Team Rocket; even twinkling on the horizon like a star as he flew. With another "Hai!" they shook and shivered, waiting for the group to be ready before beginning to lead them toward town.

They passed several other demons on the main road, most of them looking at the String Demons like they were crazy for accompanying Humans, who only came from Earthland, anywhere on this planet. Eventually, they approached a huge mega city; as the plains gave way to streets, bus stops, and restaurants.

As they neared the huge town; they could see that even the police officers and such were demons and different types of oni, women and children alike. Wondering where they should begin, Hera turned to the string demons as she noticed they were gone completely now. They did hold up their end of the bargain and bring them to the city proper. But who knew if they'd ran off to tell the other demon clan about their arrival. Since that clan was holding kids from Earthland hostage, they would know that the group of mages from Earthland was after them, and them alone.

She hoped that wasn't the case.

    -------------------------------------

"Yep, five mages from Earthland, and a flying cat! Two of them are just little girls! But they're all monstrously strong.....I can feel it. One of the little girls....she's like a robot or something, she doesn't show any emotion whatsoever. Not to mention this one kid can clone himself, there's a human with them who looks like an orge, and one kid who can control electricity......one of the girls the pink haired one.....she broke Bruce's FINGERS and made him BEG!" one of the demons made of string stood in front of a desk.

A shadowed figure from behind the desk, flanked by two children who were bound and gagged.

"Do you have any idea how stupid that sounds? Bruce is a 30ft tall Ogre, there's no way a child made him beg for anything." the demon would lean forward across the desk, showing his handsome features fully. He looked pretty human, except for the small demonic horns on his head, and set of black angel wings that he kept folded behind him for now. The string demons would sweatdrop at one another, as he clearly didn't believe them as the strings they were made of went comically droopy. "Although...." as the demon would turn around, he would ungag the boy and slap him once with a backhand, sending blood across the floor from his mouth and nose. "You there, boy. On Earthland, are there mages that powerful?" as the boy shook off the hit, he would crack a determined and bloody smile and look in his eye.

"Oh yes, there are many. And they are a lot stronger than you." he would say "There's the mages of Black Sails, pirates, although none of them are as strong as what they said.....maybe the master, Ana. But I doubt the master of a pirate guild would come to save two magic council kids." the boy seemed smart as he looked over at his sister, who pleaded for him to shut up with her eyes. "Then there's Blue Pegasus....back when Shuhei and Siren were around, I'd say it was one of them...but they're weak now." he then explained about Ardere,  all of the Guilds and then came to the realization. "Wait you said one of the young girls didn't show any emotion?" the string demons would then nod furiously at the bloody young man. With a small smirk, he stopped talking.

"What? Continue speaking you insolent little whelp!" the demon would raise a sharp nail under the boys throat as his sister squirmed in protest.

"That description sounds like the newly appointed Guildmaster of....." he would look up, as a sparkle of determination and bravery hit his eye at the mention of the next two words. "Fairy Tail." even his sisters eyes widened at this. "If they're coming for you.....not even God can save you." the demon blinked a few times, and then snapped a finger as the gag retied itself around the boys mouth magically.

"Fairy Tail you say.........hm?" the demon got excited a bit as he smirked, showing some sharp looking teeth. "Let them come." the string demons got a sweatdrop over their heads, as they weren't sure that the boss understood what was coming for him.

Post by Takumi Yoshino 27th March 2017, 8:33 am

No amount of teasing from Hera would make Takumi regret that lightning flower. It may have hurt him a bit too, but It was worth it to see it cut through those demons, despite being fairly weak as a spell. And then Hera and Sorano were approached by a huge ogre, and Takumi was about to step forwards, but then Hera got to work. Breaking the ogres pinky first, she managed to get the location out of him after breaking several more fingers.

He had never seen Hera like this before.

Those screams were getting to him, even if it was an enemy, those cries were awful. As the demons led them towards the city, Takumi watched Hera with a uneasy look. She had been pretty harsh, even if those demons were enemies did she have to torture the one like that?

What was done was done, but Takumi couldn't help but question those methods Hera had used. No matter. As long as those children were saved it couldn't be too bad, could it? At least, he hoped so.

The demon city wasn't all that different from anything in Earthland, it was actually fairly normal looking. The demons had kept the promise to bring them to the city, but they had apparently dissapeared as soon as they had arrived. Of course. They had probably gone to warn their kin of the arrival of the Fairy Tail mages. Takumi shook his head, looking at Hera, and then back at Sorano, before looking towards the city once more. "Where are we going to even start?"

The battle was over before it even really started. The string demons didn't put up much of a fight, if any really. They seemed powerful but their will was broken long before the mages of Fairy Tail and Sabertooth even came through the portal. After a fairly underwhelming display, the demon leader started to speak with the others about how there were demons in the city ahead that had taken the nobles that the team were looking for. It seemed as if the team were on the right path, at least someone knew where to start looking. They needed to get to the inner city, where ever that was. Hera had managed to use "aggressive negotiation" tactics to get the string demons to take the team to the city, but was there any chance the demons would turn on the humans from Earthland? If Mashyuu were a dark Wizard he would have turned on someone who bested him the first chance he got. "We shouldn't make deals with this group. Nothing good can come of this." The Sabertooth Wizard advised while the group started walking towards the massive city in the distance.

Walking seemed to take forever and Mashyuu was sure that most of the group were capable of moving faster than they were but the Earth God took the chance to try to get to know who he was working with a bit better. He figured it best to start with Hera as he knew Sorano very well and knew who Hera's father was. He fell behind in the middle of his stride to walk side by side with the woman. "Your fathers gun ho attitude I see. But I get the feeling you didn't know him very well. If you have any questions I'll do what I can to answer them. I only met your father a few times but know what he was to a lot of people." Mashyuu offered then looked at the young girl happily. His own daughter wasn't much younger than Hera was and for some reason Mashyuu felt like he should keep the Fairy Tail girl under a watchful eye for her passed on fathers sake.

Post by Mura Kensho 1st April 2017, 6:27 am

The threat from the demons seemed to have been taken care of now. The largest present challenged Sorano and Hera, and to his lack of fortune, one of the girls was enough to shut his mouth and convince of their worth. Although, the screams made Mura feel compassionate for the large demon… rather, he began sweating a little by the view. The other string demons were tied up good enough, in which his clones turned away into shadows that faded into the ground. His hair even blew by the wave and the background of the large one’s screams over Hera’s brutal treatment. At some point, the leader finally spat out about the two kids who were seemingly taken into the city of theirs. “A city of demons…” he mumbled. It was actually quite going well, according their plan to not kill any of the demons and, instead, try and cooperate… well, one could have his or her problems with this kind of ‘cooperation’, but at least they didn’t fight anymore. That pleased the shaman.

“We should all still keep an eye for anything suspicious,” he explained as the demons brought them across the land towards the promised city, “If the entire city hears about us, then it can only turn into a mess. Besides, we will be outnumbered if that happened, so we should stay on our guard.” His voice was quite softened during those statements, but he hoped that they all understood the situation. Looking forward, he could see the contours of the large town that they soon entered; feeling like walking around a demonic version of Magnolia City, roads, houses and the passers-by let out an urban atmosphere. It wasn’t that ‘demonic’ as one might’ve imagined the term to feel like, but moreover civilized. The demons who guided them to this place had vanished as soon as they entered, perhaps out of the extreme anxiety and ‘Heraphobia’ which was given by the cherry-haired mage. The shaman looked around, while Kyuken soared forward to take a close look at the city’s streets. “Look… I don’t have such a good vision,” the ghost commented, “And I’m guessing that Zirconis don’t have, either.” Sending two, sharp eyes at the sudden dragon ghost, Kyuken made it obvious that they had to use a plan in order to find the exact location. Who knew, the kids could be right below them, in a secret cave that only the mayor of this city knew. Speaking of ‘mayor’, perhaps it was reasonable to speak with that demon first.

Three figures stepped right before them, stopping Mura from setting a foot into the street. They were just as large as the one whose fingers were abused by Hera earlier, and their number intimidated Mura a little. They held out their right hand each, signalizing the prohibition of entering. "You shall not pass," they spoke in unison, Ningen no Madoushi, Human Mages. Flee if you worry for your own safety…” Slowly looking up at their muscular faces, Mura felt that another challenge arrived. The demons earlier were proven of the group’s right to continue through combat, so perhaps it was the same case with these guys. “The news havent’ come to you yet, huh…” Mura mumbled, “Listen… big, red demon, other red demon; we don’t intend to violate you all. We’re only here to bring back-“ He was stopped by a sudden footstep towards him, in which he gritted his teeth in surprise. One of them approached the group which got covered by the large devil’s shadow. “The kids from the other world, no…” he stated while lifting up his face, “Not until you show us-“ As the demon was about to state the obvious, Mura simply turned around and walked closer to the human mage group again, totally careless about the conversation’s turn. “I’m not fighting you guys,” he spoke softly. The demon who was talking suddenly stepped back in surprise, not having expected this due to their orders from the Demon Advisor. While laying a hand on Takumi’s shoulder, Mura continued: “-but if what I think is true, then why don’t you just challenge the two, big guys right here? Takumi and Rock-Guy will put up a decent evidence of our right to enter.”

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Earlier…
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Say what!?” a large guard shouted before a smaller, yet more influential and authorized demon, “B-But then we’re just letting them enter our very home, or towns..!!!” The Advisor held up a hand to ask the demon to stop with the blabbering. “Listen, if those really are from the mage guilds of the other world, then this is a serious situation that could bring our entire population in a dangerous state,” he explained. The two guards looked at each other in confusion, yet they knew the danger that awaited them. “However, we know only that they’re after the two kids from the same planes. Perhaps they aren’t as hostile as we may think.” Stepping towards the exit at the office, the Advisor sighed a little. “… I want to see them. You better challenge them, or you’ll realize the true meaning of my name.” The threat caused the two guards to step back in horror, knowing about the Advisor’s reputation in combat. They had no chance against him, but what was his plan? “If you challenge them, then they will most likely be forced to approach us faster. Besides, the chief has given them green light to come over here, anyway, so why not let them rush to the kids’ rescue?” The Advisor laughed a little at his own genius, while the two demons scratched their heads. “S-So we have to stop them … in order to let them come? Is that what you say?” the other asked. “Exactly,” the Advisor replied, “Meanwhile, I’ll stay with the chief. If they turn out to be hostile and rush to our leader first, then I won’t show them any mercy…”

    Post by Haru-senpai 2nd April 2017, 11:29 am

Hera looked around blushing at all the various different types of business, toys, gaming systems, and even sodas and restaurant names. Some of them were probably famous on this world, but she doubted she had the time to explore the planet herself. She felt at home here for some reason, with four years with Eris and four with Igneel, Hera had seen her fair share of species; people often thought demons were "evil" by default, but they were just another race. Like humans---some were good, some were evil.

As the camera showed the huge city from above; it was a normal day in city life except for the fact that there were five humans and a small walking talking cat moving about. Attracting a lot of attention as they moved through the crowded streets. Unlike their planet, Earthland; which had various different species and races on it. Akuma was a planet completely inhabited by demons....so five humans walking around their capital city was not something that happened every day, week, month, or even year.

Hera's thoughts at how similar it was to Earthland were interrupted as they seemed to enter a more residential part of town. The sound of cars, and hustling and bustling disappearing into rows and rows of town houses, and families here and thee. A few people and kids pointed and stared at the humans blatantly walking down their sidewalks. Some kids pointed and yelled, most of the Demon dads just stared apprehensively at first. But then, they began to get into the more wealthy side of town. As she gazed around, Hera heard a voice up ahead.

It literally stopped them in their tracks since it came from straight ahead. A tall red demon, the same race as the one she'd broken fingers on earlier, stepped up. Flanked by two of his brethen. They were at least 20ft tall, muscles everywhere. Their clothes were somewhat warrior like. Probably had seen many battles. As they talked, Mura stepped up.
It's clear they want a fight.....Mura, there's no way we can sit here and blow up half of the city..... Hera actually hadn't used her own magic for that very reason herself. Looking worried, her Exceed noticed this and then had the same look on her face comically as they both let off an anime sweatdrop. When Mura reccomended they take on Takumi and Mashyuu, all she could do is facepalm. Those two had some seriously powerful magic, that shouldn't be thrown around lightly. But who was she kidding, she really wanted to see these guys get destroyed.

"Hey look guys....if your Chief could just help us find the kids that were stolen from our world, or tell us where they are if he has found them already....there will be no need to----" one of the demons held up a hand toward the ground, and Rose, since he was way taller than her.

"Yeah, guess what. Our Chief is being protected by The Advisor himself, and the Chief has been looking day and night for those Human kids ever since they stumbled into our planet. They ran around town asking for help, and ended up getting captured. But our orders are simple.....to test your strength. Here on our planet, Strength is how you prove yourself." the central ogre explained. Pounding his fist into his hand and smiling. "So which of you will it be?" he smiled.

Hera opened her mouth and raised a finger, but Rose hopped over her head and covered her mouth with her paws. Irritated, Hera and Rose began to argue briefly but then agreed that someone else should step up this time. For fear of burning the entire town to the ground if Hera's magic got out of control. Letting her go, Hera would sigh to herself. Crossing her arms and pouting a bit.

"It's not like Takumi's any better....." Hera crossed her arms pouting. "Just let Mashyuu handle these three....." as she said this, the Demons seemed to get irritated. Because from what they were saying, three on three would be overkill and heavily favor the tiny humans over them.

"W-what...you think we're THAT weak?" the one in the middle growled again. "Haven't you noticed but we're 20ft tall! Bigger than any house on this block! Most demon types aren't large like us." he said, bragging and sparkling a bit. Hera would roll her eyes and look to the two tallest guys in their group.

"Takumi, Mashyuu....take these guys down!!!" Hera said, losing her patience with these three. If they wanted a street fight then so be it. The three demons would come forward and begin to circle around Takumi and Mashyuu, drawing their weapons with huge ringing sounds from their huge weapons being drawn.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the Demon Advisor left the Chief's Office. He smiled to himself, and only himself. Once he was outside on the street, he would teleport in an explosion of black feathers, reappearing in his own office in a whirl of black feathers. Both the children tied up. He literally laughed outloud as the kids just looked worried as hell. He had played the Chief like a fool....the Chief, the leader of their entire race. As advisor to the Demon Chief, he had a lot of pull. Folding his black wings behind him, he ran a nail across his desk; actually cutting into the wood because his nail was long and sharp itself.

"Once they get here.......I'll tear them limb from limb, and then say they were trying to actually kill our Chief. Then.....we'll have all we need to make sense of invading Earthland...that's right, attacking your home planet though that portal." he smiled at both the kids. "And once I frame those mages for an attempted assassination, I won't have need of you two." he made a 'throat cutting' gesture with the same nail he'd scratched the table with as the two kids began to panic.

Unbeknownst to anyone in the room, or even the Magic Council back home. The girl had actually been born a mage. As they both panicked and yelled though the clothes gagging them, still tied to the chairs. The entire room began to be incased in a thick fog, as the girl began to sparkle with blue light. Her brother and the Demon Advisor both went wide eyed.

But it was too late. The camera would zoom out and show the Advisors Palace, as literally half of it exploded with Ice Magic, and Snow, covering half of the building in solid-ice that sparkled in the sunlight. As people literally looked up, from the streets, pointing. Wondering what in the world had happened to freeze half of such a big house. Back inside, the entire room was coated in ice, as the Demon Advisor held his arm in front of his face. The fog cleared a little, as the girl herself looked scared. The Advisor smiled at her. As her brother just looked shocked as hell. With a wave of his hand, flames went around the room; and defrosted it. Causing water to drip from the ceiling and go all over the floor from the ice melting. He continued to smile at the girl.

"Magic is much more rare on this planet....but I hear powerful mages come from yours....yes I think I'll keep you alive....your brother however won't be so lucky. Now to figure out how to defrost the entire damn building.....before too much trouble becomes of your little panic attack." he began to pace around the now wet room, thinking to himself. As outside, half of his house was still frozen solid.

    GRACE UNDER FIRE
For a while, the letter mage hadn’t done much. Simply wavering about, supporting those in need. As expected, her guildmates were most certainly not being the most peaceful ones here… But what more could she assume of such a rowdy group she had somehow joined? Once more, the girl pondered the possibility of what she might be doing now had she not made such a choice back then, but it was a thought swiftly forgotten. This was Fairy Tail, after all, how could she leave Fairy Tail? As more demons would appear, and one set out a formal challenge, stating how they required a test of strength. It was an issue that would forever be had with those of this type, the territorial peoples of the world. A sigh lingered on her lip, and she moved about, doing her best to lessen the blows of Takumi and Mashyuu, ensuring that the demons weren’t fatally injured. Had death occurred… She was far too cautious a person to possibly even consider the possibility of remaining safe from such an endeavor, were it taken.

Something else that alarmed her though… The fact that Takumi showed no remorse in his aura, despite Hera’s warning words. Dark eyes narrowed, and Sorano would catch the stoic man’s gaze. “Takumi. Be gentle, please. I hope I do not need to remind you again that we are doing this for peace, not conflict.” And then there was Hera. Although she had not been as rash as Takumi in his powerful spell, one meant to kill, worry blossomed at the rather cruel way in which she treated the ogre. “Let’s leave them with mild blows, is that okay? It does no one good to make a surplus of enemies. One day you may not be able to manage them all.” They strode uneasily through the city, and the guild master was pleased to see Mashyuu branching out naturally and talking with Hera. Though the man was rough, he had more self-control than the wild slayer. Perhaps he might instill some sense in her. But for now, they had bigger focuses to take care of. The demon would challenge them, and as the child watched on, Mura, ever so peace-loving would suggest Takumi and Mashyuu to spar. Takumi and Mashyuu… There was doubt in her gaze, but let Mura have his time in the spotlight. He was like a brother to her, and someone whom held her trust.

As expected, Hera was by no means pleased about this, but she let them. She had the same idea as Sorano – Takumi… was unpredictable. Would he hold his calm well against these demons?

But before she could say anything else, a sudden explosion of magical energy burst out in the corner of her eye. As it was something that was rather quiet, and too far away and hidden by buildings for most to see, she doubted the demons had noticed it. But there was something about this magical signature… It was that of an Earthland mage. “Wait. Something’s happened.” Turning to the demons, she would cordially suggest to them, “You may want to see this, too. I’m catching the magical signature of an Earthland mage, one who isn’t from our guild. But it’s definitely Earthland magic. Something big could be happening…” Already putting things together, it would only be evident that the children of Magic Councilmen would be gifted with magic, right? But the fact that they were using magic… What was going on? Immediately, she was moving at a brisk pace, casting aural senses out to catch the trickles of energy that stirred around the creatures. Waiting to find something human.
