Post by Taizen Fri 12 May - 12:40

Taizen walked into the post station. There he saw the mailman, his eyes were all puffy from crying, just because of a little magic car? "Oh thank goodness someone is here, I didn't know what I'd do. I'm not going to be able to give you lots of money since I have to get some to repair my truck but I'll give you all I can afford," Taizen just shrugged, he didn't mind. He took the mail and started to sprint down the street. The houses weren't that far away from each other, he'd be able to finish this quickly. He ran to the first house, knocked on the door, dropped the mail, and continued sprinting. He did this in an estimate of about ten minutes. All twenty houses had got their mail, and now he just had to go back for the jewels.

Bad thing was, he had so many other houses. Taizen came back and gotten even more mail and so he continued on, having to sprint a longer distance. He kept telling himself that it didn't matter that he wasn't going to get a lot of money from this, it was still the right thing to do, hey, maybe he could even donate some jewels to the man to help him? He thought about it for a moment, and then concluded, he didn't have to be that nice. As he was lost in deep thought he didn't realize how close he actually was to the next house. He got there and then delivered the mail swiftly, smiling at every package, letter or newspaper dropped off. He started to walk back, physically and mentally exhausted.

Why didn't the mailman just give him all the mail? And why didn't he just ask this time? Once again, he went off running, if you could even call it that. It was a really slow and tired jog, he felt as if he would just fall over and die any second now. That would be freedom. This wasn't too hard, next time he'd just need to ask for all the mail, not have to waste his energy running back and forth from that damn post office back to another neighborhood. Taizen once again knocked on the house and delivered the mail, it was getting repetitive doing the same thing over and over again, so on the last house he knocked and waited for an answer.

"Hello?" The man said as he came to the door. He looked pretty wealthy, Taizen smiled, "I'm here to deliver your mail to you, here you go friendly sir," Taizen would then hand the package to him with the mail on top of it. "Thank you, young man." He nodded towards Taizen and took his stuff back inside. Taizen happily ran back to the post office to receive his reward, he had finally initiated correct human conversation for once! He reached the post office panting horribly, maybe he shouldn't have pushed himself after he ran that much. After he received his jewel reward he slowly walked home.
