Kyuyo had been wander the city for sometime, like always without any real direction other then where her feet led her, when she came across a nice little in. The place reminded her of the little in that she had back home, but much more fancy, it brought a smile to her face at the Memory. A pang of guilt shot there her mind and the smile faded, she had forgotten everything she knew before and here she was make new ones. Kyuyo sighed and began to turn away, her stomach growled stopping her dead. It had been nearly two days since she had eaten. She looked around the area a bit, it was a busy place but she felt that it would be ok, she had not had and magic problems in over a week. Kyuyo placed her palm on the hilt of her sword, she didn't know it name but she knew it meant something to her in the past, their was a touch of care the was clearly shown in the blade.

"When in Fiore..." Kyuyo muttered to herself as she walked toward the door of the establishment, pulling up the hood to her cloak as she did. Upon entering she looked around, a pretty busy place, frowning she moved to a corner far from the largest group of people. she set her sword up against the table and sat down, watching the goings on around her. After a while a server came up and greeted her, Kyuyo smiled meekly at the girls outgoing personality but remained silent. looking over the menu Kyuyo pointed to what the she wanted and held up fingers to show how much she wanted. The girl was a bit flabbergasted at the amount but ran off to put the order in leaving Kyuyo to watch the crowds.

When her food arrived more people had started to arrive, people she didn't take heed of as she had food that needed eating. Kyuyo dug in, eating like a starved animal, leaving the server to run off wide eye. No longer then a few minutes did it take her to eat all the food set before her, leaning back and patting her belly with her hands. She smiled again and set her hand on the table, staring at the red markings and the claws on her hand.

    "who... am i...."

The question haunted her for many years now, yet only now had she felt the need to try and find out. Well that was probably a excuse, with Lana's death she had not really been welcome in the village she had been staying in. The village itself was a small place not even on any map, cosy for what it was with a HUGE inn. The men would go out and fish or cut wood while the women would clean cloths and care for the children. Kyuyo had been think back that she didn't see the server holding a slip of paper, the girl mentioned something about a bill.

    *crap...*

She didn't have any jewel, she had forgotten that bigger citys used money. Kyuyo patted her waist anyways hoping that she had something to give to the girl, but all she had was a few knick-nacks for the most part nothing of real value. She pulled them out and and set them on the table, a small carved wooden wolf, a metal coin with the Shogeki family crest on it, a single small emerald and lastly the butterfly tassel from her sword. She motioned to the girl and spoke very quietly.

    "I have no money..."

The woman frowned and took off, Kyuyo sighed she had garnered the attention of the people whom owned the place. Kyuyo sighed and clenched her hand into a fist, her claws drawing points of blood where they punctured the skin. The pain brought her mind into focus, which was busy trying to think of a way out of the situation. she could wash dishes but she didn't like staying in one place to long and the number on the paper, which was sitting in front of her was quite large. She took a deep breath and sighed, all she could do is sit and wait now. All because she had let her hunger get ahead of her mind. "That appetite will get you in trouble someday..." The words Lana had said to her a good time ago, Smiling faintly Kyuyo leaned back and closed her eyes.

    "yes mom i know...."

The city of Magnolia was never a stop that Cirven enjoyed going to or even frequented. He had no desire to be in the city after all of the events he dealt with in the forest near it and in the city. It only brought about memories that were a lie to him and were fabricated to make him believe he was something that he wasn't; a regular child. It wasn't hard for him to understand why it was done but he always had a feeling that if things were different he could have stopped so much of the sorrow he had to live through, if not just the loses he had to burden.

Magnolia was also the city that harbored the battle between his uncle and him, where his uncle tried to get revenge for the death of his sister and Cirven's mother, Salindra. The battle ultimately ended with Cirven gaining control over what was considered his demonic side and gaining new abilities and the magic he was born to use through his birthright as a descendant of a demon named Anseus. His uncle had found a way to acquire Cirven's magic and that lead to his own death in his ignorance because Cirven gained full control over his own magic and his uncle was only manipulating it. Cirven held a chunk of regret over the battle because he mother willingly sacrificed herself when they fought in order to release all of the Cor Torva members of their burden over their dark pasts and what they had done as members just for most of them to be so consumed by that darkness that they instead looked for revenge over the woman's son.

So it was pretty much a natural thought that Cirven had where he never wanted to go to Magnolia unless he had to even though he held the thought to himself as he did most things he did not want to discuss. He had found himself moving through the city for a job where he was reluctantly working for the Magic Council on a job to deal with some mages who were using their magic to steal from stores all around Magnolia. He thought they would amount to more but they ended up being pushovers to the Quartermaster of Black Sails and were left statically clung to chains through the demon's magic until the enforcers of magic law, the Rune Knights could find their way to them. It was weird for a neutral aligned person to do the good guy jobs most of the times but Cirven used it as a way to get his crew quick jewel and to check if their were anyone who could give him a fun battle.

The job left him making his way through Magnolia and finding the establishment he had come to some time before just after dealing with his mother and disbanding Cor Torva. He was on his way to Hargeon to join a certain trading company at the time but had found himself growing hungry. It lead him into the establishment in front of him. He looked it over and saw that it had not changed in the time from when he was there last and walked inside where he took a seat. A waitress quickly approached him and was ironically the same one from his ladt visit. She looked at him curiously as she spoke. "You are that sharp-toothed guy who ate some silverware here last time and saved us from that burglary!" Cirven nodded to the girl as her voice seemed to peak at a high octave. "Yeah... Was going to ask to keep that under wraps a bit. I'm just passing through." Seconds later the manager appeared and offered Cirven anything he wanted for free for saving them in the past which the now black lightning demon would happily oblige to. "So last time I ate metal, right? This time I have a different appetite. Is there any way you could find me some electricity? It should hit the spot pretty well." The waitress and manager did not waste time looking surprised at all and instead actually started to think of what they had that would work. Both went to the back and came out some time later with a covered plate. The plate was placed down in front of Cirven and then the top was removed to show different types of electronics. "We all came together in the back and put some of the more useless electrical things together we had for this plate. Hope it is to your liking." Without much of a nod Cirven took a deep breath and started to suck the electricity out of the objects on the plate into his mouth causing a stream of electricity to form from the plate to him. After a few seconds the slayer stopped and smiled showing his fangs to the two who served him and anyone curious enough to be looking. "That wasn't half bad at all!"

The waitress whom had been served Kyuyo had run off to find the manager, approaching in a hurry. she leaned in a whispered something into his ear.

"Sir we have a lady with no money to pay for her meal."

The waitress handed over the bill sheet and walked off to continue her work. the bill was quite a substantial for just one person.

(OCC: you introd the manager hes in your control)

All Kyuyo though about running, but she was kinda hard to miss meaning the Authority's would have a easy time finding her. She sighed and stood up heading over to the manager he was standing next to another table with a another fellow. She bowed slightly to the man, her snow white hair.

"Excuse me..." Kyuyo straightened and turned to the manage. "What that lady said i don't have any money..." Her crimson eyes glanced at the man, she didn't know why but she had a feeling he was also a mage, shaking her head she returned her gaze to the manager. "I am willing to work it off if your not against it..." Kyuyo was a utter klutz not that she would admit it but she was hoping that the man didn't have her do anything with dishes.

From Another table a girl called out, "mommy whats wrong with that lady's hands?" Kyuyo quickly hid her hands under the cloak. She looked at the girl and offered a weak smile as the girls mother shushed her and told her it was rude to point. she looked around the room only to find more then a couple people were looking at her, some whispering to each other. Kyuyo seemed to shrink from the attention, clearly starting to fidget as she waited for a reply.

Cirven didn't know exactly what was going on at first. all he could tell was the manager and the waitress were dealing with a woman who seemed to not have the money to pay for the food she ate. The demon gave a raised brow to the woman as he noticed her scent was different from other people and that she even looked a lot different compared to them. A little girl even pointed out the fact that she had something different going on with her hands also which caught Cirven's eye also. This person looked to be someone that also had some sort of ability with magic also because he could sense she had some sort of magical aura about her. What he couldn't tell was how strong she possibly was because some mages hid how strong they were just like he was doing while in the restaurant and usually while he was out having a regular day, which rarely happened.

"Hey, manager." The dual eyed demon spoke out before the manager could respond to her. "She sounds pretty sincere about not being able to pay, huh?
I'll pay her bill and help her out.
" The manager looked at Cirven confused at first. "Are you sure, sir? She did eat a pretty hefty amount of food." Cirven gave off a smile to the manager. "Yeah, I'm sure. I'd feel bad if I didn't and we all should get our one good thing in each day, right?" He grinned at the manager and with that started to dig into his pockets for jewels which lead him to pull out a handful and pass it to the manager. "This is more than what she owed." The manager spoke out quickly but Cirven just continued to grin. "Use it to keep the place up and running somehow. I'm not really needing it so much." The manager nodded to Cirven happily and Cirven gave him a cheerful nod back before the manager went off to the back with the waitress.

Cirven got up from his chair and faced the woman, placing his focus on her completely as he used his senses to pick up anything else different about her. "So who are you exactly?
I have a feeling I should know you in some way...
    "

Kyuyo blinked as the man paid her bill, she didn't know what to do nobody had ever done that for her. She had for the most part avoided having to do any work to pay for food in large city and this man had just allowed her to keep it this way.

*what does he want? why did he pay for my food? will he hurt me?*

Kyuyo's mind ran wild with so many thoughts, none of them doing the man any credit. Kyuyo's face flushed and she shrunk into her cloak as the man spoke to her, she didn't want to be rude but was scared of what he would want from her.

"erm... K-kyuyo... Sogeki" her voice was barely above a whisper, she had reached up and pulled her hood down a bit farther.

*This man may know who i was!?!*

Kyuyo pondered the thought that had crossed her mind, she had left the island to find out whom she was and here a chance had presented itself. She weighed the risks of revealing herself in public, she had people hunting her for reasons she didn't know. Kyuyo looked around the restaurant, nobody stood out to her, but neither had the child that had attacked her last time.

"I... I don't know whom i am..." Kyuyo turned back to the man, "May i have a seat... This will be a long story..." All of Kyuyo's shyness was burned away by the desire to know whom she was. "I will tell you but we must not speak here... its not safe." Kyuyo motioned towards the door, making it clear that the man was go first.

Cirven did not exactly understand what was going on with the woman who now stood near him. She seemed to be going through multiple different emotions all at the same time which he knew because of the reactions and faces she made. She was shy one second and then suddenly she spoke up with much more confidence the next. He had a feeling he had just gotten himself involved with a person who he possibly would get into a situation with that he could not avoid now. "Kyuyo, right? Look, I don't know exactly what is going on but all I wanted to know was who you were. I'm not really the type to get thrown into other's business like that, at least not anymore. I have my own things to deal with that take priority, not to sound rude or anything. I would say if you could pay me that would be different but I already know you don't have enough jewels to pay for a meal, granted your meals are pretty colossal from what I saw." Cirven stood up from his seat. "Sorry. I thought you had an interesting scent that I picked up on but I don't think I can help you. Take care." The demon walked away from Kyuyo and walked out of the door.

It was nothing against her at all but he really did have other things to worry about. He had a guild to help keep track of and a crew to make sure was protected while they did their jobs. He didn't have time to go out of his way to help someone, especially when it wasn't going to get him any jewel in some sort of way.
