Player Requirements: 1 C-Rank mage or 2 D-Rank mages minimum. Must kill/capture/arrest the 2 heads of the Slaver operation. Minimum 30 posts with 250 word minimum requirement. Must also roll 5 monster dice minimum to summon the boss.
This job can only be done once
Job Location: Hargeon Town
Job Description: Lately there have been slaver's running an operation to kidnap women to be sold to other countries for a tidy profit. This operation must be stopped and the Rune Knights are offering a tidy sum of jewels to anybody that will stop the latest shipment of slaves to leave Fiore. Not only must not a single slave be harmed, but the leaders must be made never to be allowed to escape or this will happen again. The Bounty is for them Dead or Alive, but the Council prefers them alive and will double the bounty if done so.
We also know the individuals are extremely tough and stealth may be required...
Enemies:
Weak:Slaver Initiates x5- These are the fresh new recruits of the slaver operation and each deal individually D-rank worth of damage with their non-magical cutlasses. The will attempt to surround and use their numbers to overwhelm the enemy. The Slavers will run or surrender at displays of B-rank spells knowing they are out of their leagues.
Normal:
Slavers x2- These are experienced sword and gun users with a weapon in each hand. The sword and gun deals C-rank damage each. They will fire the gun 3 times a post and ignore D-rank armors and barriers of whoever they are shooting. They will fire at whoever is dealing the most damage and the bullets do travel at 900 MPH making them hard to dodge. They require 1 C-rank of damage to beat, making them a bit of glass cannons.
Strong:
Veteran Slaver- They have been doing their job for so long that thThey have earned the jewels to buy themselves Lacrima to use water magic. They also use cutlasses imbued with the same magic, but this magic is not eatable by Water Dragon Slayers due to having salt mixed in all their spells and Abilities, thus making them instead LOSE the magic they were supposed to gain. The water magic itself deals C rank damages and is very malleable to users will. The Blade however deals C-rank damage and continuous D-rank bleeding per post. Requires 3-Crank of damage to beat them.
Boss:
Captain Scarlet and First Mate Carver- Captain of the slaver ship the 2 are notorious individuals that have no value of human life. They fight mercilessly and will fight to the death since they know that a hangman's noose awaits them if captured.
First mate carver is a speed based mage with a pair of cutlasses that look worn after many use and stained with blood of those that opposed him. He will immediately charge at the strongest looking mage at 100 miles per hour and lock the person in melee combat with his blades. Using his magic it allows him to strike multiple times for B-rank damage due to speed and momentum of his blades. It is very tricky to hit him, but he is ultimate Glass cannon as well due to his speed and a Solid C-rank blow at his high speeds will cause major damage.
Captain Scarlet uses a pair of guns that deal C-rank damage each and is fired 6 times per post and ignores C-rank Barriers and armor. Her shots also explode on contact causing people hit to be blown away from her and causing AoE damage. Living the life at sea made her tough and requires 4 C-ranks to beat her. When knocked down to 3 C-ranks of damage she will attempt to shoot herself in head rather than humiliation of the hangmans noose.
Reward:
15k jewels.
If both bosses are captured alive then the jewel increases by 30k.
"I don't know, man. I'm just not feeling it." mumbled the impossibly thin man to no one in particular. His slender frame draped in clothes clearly too large for his build lounged upon a bench overlooking the Hargeon pier. A bony hand was brought to the man's temple and reached to scratch at the back of his unkempt and shaggy head. The same hand proceeded to adjust his large mirrored sunglasses before resting at his side once again. The hand was employed once more to cover his mouth as the man let out a strained yawn. A familiar itching developed at the back of his head. Not an itch he could scratch. It was more of an itch in his mind than anything physical that could be remedied by simple friction.
"The hell do you mean you're not feeling it?" came a rough voice echoing in his head, "You spent the last of your money on cake last I remember! I am not going to let you dump the vessel in the park again tonight!"
"Hey, where I sleep is my choice, Hyou." the man mumbled calmly -- once again letting out a yawn, this time mid-sentence, "You act like you have some sort of ownership over my vessel."
The hermit's voice carried a bit more bite to it this time. It was true that Hyouryu was beginning to exhibit some entitlement to the vessel made of grave soil he currently inhabited. It was true that he would often allow his friend to share the vessel with him in times of need, but it was purely out of the hermit's good graces that he was allowed to and only for short periods of time.
"This ain't no rent to own business, my man." the lightness had returned to his voice. He could feel Hyouryu become more agitated as he bristled in his Shade form back in Purgatory.
"Rent to what? I don't... look, I get it, okay Atsu? I just don't want you getting the damn thing thrown into a mass grave somewhere." Hyouryu said after calming down. Despite his sentimentality, he still couldn't rid himself of the typical edge with which he barked his words. Atsu groaned more audibly, causing some passerbys to jerk their heads towards him and begin stepping in a direction away from the clearly homeless man talking to himself. The lesser god visiting the mortal world groaned once more, but in effort as opposed to frustration as he sat upright on the bench. He adjusted his glasses once more and observed the pier, watching the tide roll in and then take its leave in rhythmic fashion. An uncomfortable silence ensued as he watched the dock workers below while pondering his options. Finally, after what felt like an eternity to Hyouryu, another voice chimed in. Steady and logical with a draft of whimsy to it.
"I actually have to agree with Hyouryu, Milord." came the calculating tone of Mitsuhide, Atsusemimaru's ancestor and self-appointed retainer, "Leaving your vessel in public overnight is not an advisable action. Too many people could find it and assume it is a dead body because, for all intents and purposes, it is."
Atsu groaned again and took a sharp breath inward.
"Alright, fine. I'll go check out the gig board." he said with some resistance. The hermit picked himself off of the bench and looped his toes in the thongs of his wooden sandals. Hollow clacking began echoing across the pier as he plodded along the stone platform. The itching from Hyouryu became more intense as his agitation turned into anger.
"Wait, hold up! You listen to him, but not me?! He just said the same thing I said!"
"Yeah, but he said it in a much nicer way." grinned Atsu as he continued his trek to the Hargeon open job board.

"Well this is a drag, man." Atsu muttered to himself as he surveyed the mostly empty job board. Only a few leaflets were pinned to the cork of the board; most of them faded by the sun or torn up from vandals looking to harass local wizards.
"Talk about your slim pickings..." he grumbled as he scanned the board one more time. Before deciding to call it quits, however, Atsu's eye caught a particularly large sum peeking out from behind one of the smaller job fliers. He reached a slender hand over to it and lifted the paper in front to find a very handsomely paying job hidden by the peanuts covering it.
"Fifteen thousand? Forty-five if they're brought back alive? If I get this kind of money, they're bound to stay off my back for a while..." the wheels turned in his artificial head before he reached to pull the paper from the board... only to find another hand grasping it as well. Atsu's heart sank. How did this keep happening?
"Not again..." the distraught hermit turned his shaggy head to look at his potential rival or possibly partner.
