Username: Leahndr Aspont
Secondary Magic Name: Heaven's Vault
Evidence of Accomplishment:
Description: This magic is unlike anything Leah had ever thought she would want. Bright, elegant, and angelic, Heaven's Vault supports and buffs both allies and herself. At the same time, it tries to minimize the effects that enemy supportive abilities have and control the situation to a possible extent. With shrines/totems and various blessings from angels whose natures vary the same, it involves the mage interacting briefly with divine beings in order to call upon their aid. Originating from the feelings stirred in her during her brief romp around in heaven (during the Angels and Demons job) it expresses her value of purity in heart and in one's intentions, no matter what their actions might be. This isn't to say that it's alright to make bad decisions just for doing it because you know what's actually right. Rather, this magic puts an emphasis on allowing mistakes and helping both allies and herself find their way to make the best decision at the next crossroads encountered.
This magic is not exactly focused on healing, but it does do some of that as well. Mostly, Heaven's Vault shies away from the direct offensive and is a clear foil to Leah's primary magic which is a ReQuip and very much weapon based over armors. By creating spells that help her remember both her time spent in heaven as well as her time spent in that nether place where she went after dying in the Aspont stream, her intention is really to support herself and others in their endeavors. Doing such includes buffing physical and magical powers as well as indirectly or directly supporting oneself/others with things like the basic heals or movement effects. These do not necessarily apply to friendly targets, but they certainly have a tendency to do so. Slowing and damaging spells tend to be over time, and her spells are simple and easy to understand. This can be a disadvantage but it is part of the transparent nature of the magic for both enemies and anyone who has her back in combat.
Strengths:
» All magic is holy and therefore cannot be eaten by god slayers or dragon slayers
» Has pseudo-versatility in that there are two different skill sets she has
» Is helpful as buffing and protective magic
Weaknesses:
» Demon slayers may still eat forms of this magic
» Only one branch may be used in a thread
» Has limited directly offensive options
» Is not elementally versatile
