Lestat * Grim Heresy * Lord of Night

The day was young, and the sun was already high above the rest of the inhabitants of Fiore. Laying asleep, legs and arms sprawled out randomly. Lestat remained unaware of his current predicament. He slept away continuously, as he drifted all the same, under the hot morning sun. There was a terrible storm the night before, during a party on a rather fancy yacht. Although the blood thirsty mage had planned to drain every single participant there. He was unable to, because of a nasty storm that hit just in time. It would seem as if fate had other plans for the older being, as the large luxury ship was capsized. The entire thing was flipped on its side, Most of the inhabitants, which were perfectly good sacks of food, drowned that night. Some may have escaped, truthfully, who knows? This mage drifted peacefully, until his tiny raft collided with a much larger, stationary ship. this ship was anchored, and filled with several sturdy fishermen, who all seemed to be curious at the sound they all just heard. Luckily Lestat passed out the night before, in his disguised form, which is currently how he was , laying in the raft. The young looking man, with dark curly hair began to awaken, just as the group of fishermen looked over to see him.

"Wakey, wakey!" One of the fishermen with a high pitched voice said with a smile. Lestat simply looked over at the men, not annoyed, yet not smiling either. He was gathering his wits about him at the moment, taking the time to regain his bearings. "Dont tell me you were out here, in the storm last night?" Spoke another of the fisher men, who seemed more concerned and older amongst the group. He was no doubt the captain of the vessel, as the men cleared a path for him to look onward. "Yes sir.." Lestat spoke, beginning to realize his situation. He was preparing to make his way aboard the ship, and clear it of its men. However, just then his pact mark began to activate, and burn on his skin. Causing it to become visible to all those around him, who also bare the mark. Information began to be downloaded in a sense, into the consciousness of Lestat, from the Augurs. They were giving him information about a job, they needed done as soon as possible, and these men were going to be his lift. Now Lestat was never one to allow anyone to interrupt a plan of his, no matter how small. Especially attempt to persuade him from a meal. However a request from the Augurs, is nearly one from Eris herself, and Lestat refused to disobey her.

The fisher men were kind to Lestat, and offered him a variety of beverages and meats, while aboard. He however declined everything they offered, given his body is unable to digest it anyway.
"Are you sure mate!?" Asked one of the fisher men, who looked bewildered at Lestat. Turning down some of the finest ale found in River town, was unheard of. None the less, it only meant more for him, as far as the man was concerned. He chugged the additional mug of ale, as he went to join the others in dancing and singing. It seems that, now that the trip was over and a success, the men were celebrating on their way home. "It will be several hours till we get to the Village." The older man from before spoke up. "It seems quite a few people are coming for a small celebration going on. Its a special holiday on the island celebrating Cupid's birthday. The day love was born. All the couples from near by villages, come for a visit." The man spoke to Lestat who was listening, yet also wondering about whom this other member of the guild he was to meet. It seems the Augurs have a plan, to team this mage and Lestat up, on not just this job, but future jobs as well.
"Get used to him."The Augurs said to Lestat, who did not care, nor mind dealing with this Job with the help of a teammate. The way he feels, if Eris granted them permission to join the guild, they must be worthy of assisting him with the job. Lestat grew anxious to see his new companion.

After successfully ignoring the fishermen party like rock stars, and being lost in the thoughts curiosity towards his partner. The ship began to dock, having arrived in River Village.
"Oh Wow." Lestat said out loud, yet only enough for those directly next to him could hear. Everyone seemed preoccupied with responsibilities they were to do, upon docking the ship. The disguised mage escaped the eye sight of the men, and began to walk freely upon the village, without having to register at the dock. The village seemed small, being surrounded by water, a lot of the land masses were connected only by wooden roped bridges. Lestat smiled slyly as he made his way towards some random cafe, it is here he is to meet the member of he guild. It wasn't long before Lestat stumbled across it. in big  black and red neon lights, "Devil's Cafe". Lestat snickered at the name, and probably could have guessed it's name beforehand. The mage walked into the cafe nonchalantly, as if he has been there before.

Death to the Major Empty Re: Death to the Major

Post by Nekros 12th June 2017, 9:34 am

Death by Snoo Snoo… No wait, death by sun would be the likely way to die today. The sun was up high, berating and bullying the people of Fiore with its horrid rays of doom. What made it worse was that there were no clouds in sight, how awful was the summer months. Luckily for some mages, they didn’t have to spend all their time in Fiore. Some could take holidays, free of charge! All one had to do was be… persuasive. There was a particular island in the northwest of Fiore that was perfect for when the rest of the world spent their time baking. It was called Snowfall Island, a former resort turned into an icy wonderland. Rumors had it that summer had vanished from the isle, which made it all the more appealing.

Jaeger, a mage of different faces, hated the heat waves that were associated with this terrible season. While aesthetically pleasing as woman would wear more revealing clothing, it didn't really outweigh the overheating the sun brings with it. He had made it to the island shortly after Earthland entered summer. The ice and snow were wonderful, so peaceful and serene. It was heaven on Earthland right now. The only thing missing were the cute snowbunnies to cuddle and hang with. It had little to no population within the resorts. The water frozen over, beaches covered in snow, and now an undead mage flopping around making snow angels. Nava would have liked it here, his fur would have kept him partially warm as they played in the snow. The mage missed his Giant fluffball, but it wasn’t safe to be around.

2 Weeks later. Jaeger has been spending his free time at this island, minding his own business and relaxing. When the cold got to be too much, he’d simply warm himself up with his magic, but for the most part was fine. However, his lovely vacation was coming to a close as the Augurs had other dastardly plans.

“Oi. Wake up you damn hippie.”

    “Whaaaat. Im on vacation!”

“Well that’s over now, we have plans that require you to be present and not lazy.”

“What is it…. Im not gonna have to meet more random people am I?”

“Random? No. We’re teaming you with another member of the guild. For now, meet him at the Devil’s Cafe, you’ll know him when you see him. The job requires you to make your way to River Village. A ranked official of the Rune Knights returned home and this would be the perfect opportunity to take him out. You shall take him out by any means necessary.

At your level though, I’d recommend sneaking attacking.”

    “Alri…”

And the connection was severed between Jaeger and the Augurs. The mage sighed and started to make his way to the boat he had used to arrive at the island. It was some small motorized water vehicle. The people that were on, a family he had taken hostage, seemed to have frozen to death. A thought that had escaped his mind…. Oh well, it was too late to do anything about them. The mage started up, and began his voyage to the village. Fortune was on his side as River Village was fairly close to the Island, just on the mainland of Fiore. A quick and annoying journey across the water should do, then he can get back to Jaeger time, if the Augurs would keep quiet long enough. Mid way, he dumped the frozen bodies into the water, no need to bring suspicious corpses into town.

The arrival! The town in the middle of a river that connected to the ocean. The boat could easily fit and dock at whatever port the harbor master wished. The man was to follow the rules of the town until the time to kill was needed. There was no reason to alert anyone to any suspicious behavior until then. For the moment, the workers and master would see a blonde elf looking man, tall with a royal like attire suited to his body. His hair would flap and flow in the cool wind that flushed over the village, it was a very dramatic way to enter the village.

    “Now to find the caf….”

The cafe was close by with a sign in big neon lights. It was fairly obvious place to meet, perhaps that worked in their favor to meet in a seemingly popular location. He made his way to the door and walked in.

Using the light that shined behind him as a blurry cloak, he transformed himself from the blonde prince into his horned, suited appearance. No one seemed bothered by the appearance at first, however, his cursed bloodline would have to ruin that if he lingered too long. As he did, he could sense the special bond that marked him and another, giving him a general feeling of who his partner might be, a man in a similar suited attire and a hat with long black hair.

    “Yo.”

Lestat * Grim Heresy * Lord of Night

After entering the small humble establishment, Lestat made his way to the front bar. The bar maid was dealing with an odd looking customer, who promptly began sipping his ale on his way back to his seat. She has long autumn hair, tied into a messy bun. Several strands refusing to remain contained, protruding randomly about. Tips were stuffed all around her black leather skirt. "Excuse me." Lestat said in a polite calm manner, far different than his usual cold demeanor. The way Lestat acted in his humanly appearance, and his true cursed appearance, was like night and day. He ensured the disguised face, was one that was welcomed any where and every where. His true face is one used for all his crimes, and blood shed. Lestat began speaking with the woman, and asked her about the current events going on in the town. She was most excited, like most it seemed, to see the return of her uncle, Major Kevin. A top ranking major in the rune knights, reknown for his combat prowess with the blade. Even Lestat has heard his name here and there in his travels. He did not expect to find out, the same man he was there to kill, was also her uncle. This news was good, should he find a use for her later. Lestat ordered a glass of Ale, and a small roasted pheasant.

He of course could not digest real food or beverages, yet sill felt the need to put on the act. He wished to blend in, and would pretend to eat in very clever ways. Lestat sat down, and awaited his meal to arrive. While waiting Lestat pulled a near by paper, and decided to read more of the local River news. After several minutes passed, he felt a small tingle sensation on his neck. The Guild Pact Mark began to burn slightly, and appear, making Lestat aware of the presence of another holder of the Pact mark. Lestat looked up and around, attempting to discover whom it was. His eye met a blond gentleman, that immediately turned into a more demonic and cursed presence. Lestat snickered, and knew without a doubt this was indeed his guild mate. The Demonic creature began to come straight towards Lestat, luckily not many seemed to worried about his appearance. Those that were, had their eyes locked on the creature, and didn't notice Lestat transform from his disguise to his true appearance. His eyes turning from a normal hazel state, to an luminescent red glow. His hair growing even longer, and turning silver. Lestat stood up as the guild member approached him, and he reached out his hand.

"Lestat." Was all the blood thirsty mage said to the creature, as his eyes scanned him. Lestat began to grow with excitement at the sight of the creature, and began to make his way outside of the establishment, after their introduction.  On Lestat's way out, the mage reaches his hand forward, causing a great deal of blood essence magic to form around him quickly. The swirling blood that is released into the atmosphere, is inhaled by all those around him, and absorbed into their pores and other openings into the body. The smaller the person was, the quicker it affected them. Instantly all those inside of the bar, who could not cast magic, began to convulse and vomit from the foreign blood, wrecking havoc on their blood stream. Even major Kevin's niece was buckled over in pain. "hehe..." Lestat chuckled on his way out of the bar, and back into the main road of town. It was about time to cause mayhem.

Death to the Major Empty Re: Death to the Major

Post by Nekros 13th June 2017, 10:27 am

And so it begins! As the dark haired, horned individual made it closer to his pact mate, he too shifted form. No longer were the closely related in hair color or clothing, but almost opposites from one another. While Jaeger remained in a fine black suit, slick raven hair, and cyan eyes; Lestat was now a white haired, grey skinned being. His eyes radiated with pure red bloodlust, or so one could describe. However, that wouldn’t be the most shocking or drastic change. His partner now donned a very old fashion sense. No longer a suit but a fancy, aristocratic, victorian style garb, how un usual it was.

A hand from this monster extended out for a handshake, a proper greeting was in order for the two gentleman. So polite this one is, could even make the manliness of Jaeger swoon with excitement. The horned one grasped the gray figures hand and gave it a firm shake.

    “Ras.”

It was time to begin the chaos, no time for other formalities unfortunately. Lestat took the first action, a weird aura of what he could only describe as blood swirled around the man before it rapidly expanded. It was seem the civilians of this port town were about to have it rough. Not only was his own cursed lineage was slowly infecting them all, this guy was causing them to vomit and panic. Disgusting, really. The smell alone would likely cause them all to throw the rest of their stomachs up. Jaeger would follow his partner out so he could get some fresh air. Some of the people outside had the same affliction, only the ones closest to the bar seemed to be affected.

“That was disgusting, ya know. That a fetish of yours?”

Yes, wither away. Now some of the side-effects of being the Sinful Horseman could be physically shown. As people were busy being nauseous and vomiting, their skin has start to shown signs of rotting away. Their skins was slowly gaining dark sores, their live essence, their living tissue, was withering into nonexistence. Then, they were starting to have hallucinations, seeing things that wasn’t there. Their panic would only get worse before they die.

Shortly after all the screams and hollers, units of the Rune Knights began to take formation around them. A grand total of 8 men and women have taken up arms against them, half are knights and other are mages, none of them look important enough to be their target.

“None of you are who we’re are looking for. Unimportant fodder shouldn’t get in the way.”

Ras said and drew his revolver, a wicked looking poison weapon. It was spiked around the barrel, giving the inner works a bit of cover. He took aim at 3 enemies that were in the middle, 2 knights and a mage. Just being this close almost guaranteed a hit by his curses and his shots. With a smirk, he took three shots. Green streak zipped out, firing towards the targets. One, Two, Three hits to their chests of Poisoned Soul shots. Soon enough, they fell over in pain as both the wither and poison weaved their way through the body. They writhed in pain as everything hit them at once, mentally, they were having a real trip while physically they are just being attacked at every turn. Unfortunately, at some point, the two will have to break off to find the Major, preferably by sneak attacking him as the Augurs said, while he’d gladly try and prove them wrong, however, he’d rather not take all day trying to kill one knight.

Lestat * Grim Heresy * Lord of Night

Lestat was rather beside himself with joy, rarely having the opportunity to go all out. Usually he is walking about disguised in his human form, or killing in the shadows to quiet the stomach rumblings. No, not today, not here. Here, he was on a job calling out a renown rune knight. Calling him to meet his death, and it didn't matter how many casualties piled up. That is until he decides to show up any way. In the mean time, Lestat will continue to do, what he does best. The vampiric mage speeds over to a small family, attempting to flee. Just barely making it out of Lestat's violent blood aura range. Lestat smiled evilly as he jogs right behind them unnoticed for a second. While just behind them, he leaps above them, and lands in front of every one of them. "No, no, no, please!" pleaded the father, who remained still. He dropped to his knees, his eyes open wide and filled with fear. Weak from running and carrying his weakened child, who had clearly succumbed to the death from Lestat His family abandoned him and screamed as they ran back in the same direction they came. However, they began falling over, unable to continue on from the over whelming pain and discomfort coming from both destructive magical auras destroying their being. Lestat walked passed the father, while reaching down with his left hand. With one swift swipe, Lestat ripped the man's neck out, causing his head to drop next to his son. Lestat walked passed all off the dropping bodies, ignoring them and simply staring forward.

He noticed eight Rune knights coming to confront them, though they met with Ras first. Just before he would begin to run forward, he noticed his guild mate pulling out an interesting gun. The mage let off three shots, Lestat keenly interested and not wishing to lose out on any Rune knight killing, began to move forward quickening his pace. Lestat then turned into a group of bats as he instantly teleported behind the group of rune knights.
"Hehe, Howdy fellas." Lestat said chuckling from behind the knights, as he began gathering a great deal of blood essence magic in and around him. When a few of the knights turned around, before they could truly realize who was behind them, Lestat's entire being erupted with boiling hot blood essence. All eight of the knight unfortunately remained in formation, and was huddled around too close. This was a perfect set up, for such a technique as this. All citizens with in a thirty meter range of Lestat was melted on the spot. The Rune knights didn't stand a chance, all were melted away, just as the other citizens. Their armor being of the poorest quality in the armory, didn't reduce a single bit of the damage.

"Bwahahahaha!!" bellowed a mighty laugh from the depths of Lestat's being. He was enjoying the bloodshed, far more than he usually did. He was realizing he needed to get out more, and stretch his magical feet. Before the blood from the previous Rune knights finished raining from the explosion, two more groups of four appeared. They looked just like previous groups of knights and ages that were just killed. This time they were smarter, and separated themselves. Four mages coming from the left, while four knights attempted to come down the path behind them. Lestat created a small red sphere made completely of magical blood essence. He launched the sphere at the mages approaching from the left, speeding off towards them. Before the mages could react to the magic attack coming towards them, it collided with the water mage in the front of the group. The collision caused a large explosion, causing a nearby three story building to come crashing down, onto the corpses of the mages. Lestat looked over at Ras, still smiling evilly, yet with a mixture of cockiness too.

How can anyone be this messy? Momentarily after shooting the opposition, a flurry of bats swarmed behind the knights and mages. What was he planning? Thought Jaeger as the pale one smirks. So far, he had only seen vague abilities revolving around blood; However, it was only a hop and a skip away to the thought of vampirism. He hadn’t seen one before, just rumors and stories. Legends of beings that lived forever and feasted on blood. Given that he was within a certain guild, it was entirely plausible that these creatures lurked around the shadows. The only thing is… why can’t they be nice and clean?

This thought occurred to him as yet again, more blood swirled around the vampire. It was different though, thicker, deeper in color, and least of all, a feeling of a more violent nature; he’d be correct too. The essence and magic unleashed itself upon the enemy, swirly, expanding, exploding in the area. Blood and organs went every which way, bones launched into the air and pierced into the building behind him. AGain, how disgusting this sort of behavior was. The ground, the water below, everything was covered in a thick crimzon slime.

”Wh… really? Reeealllly?  Like.. I just… Why so messy? This was a fine suit!”

Ras said, fairly annoyed that his suit was ruined with blood, or at least ruined by the excessiveness by it. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any rags available to wash himself,. The grown made sighed through his pout and began to rapidly heat the area around him. It was only a matter of milliseconds until a visible steam and heat aura developed and began to boil the blood. With enough time, the blood just evaporated. Despite his efforts though, his suit was ruined. The knights and mages that hadn’t been killed yet, ones who had just arrived, looked at the horned man in disbelief. Why would some chaotic devilman worry so much about clothing?

Just as he was about to speak again, Lestat began his next assault, likely to be as gruesome as before. Jaeger watched without enthusiasm, an expressionless face that expected to just have more blood splatter and an even worse off piece of clothing. A ball of dark blob of magic went sailing behind them, hitting the knights and mages that had recently arrived. Like he guessed, more blood.

    I… I can’t even right now. I just can’t even.”

With the combination of his curses and this one's nasty habit of bloodsport, most of the enemies have been taken out and exploded. All there was left were 4 others that had tried to come up from the left, close enough for Jaeger to finish them off, without blood. An explosion will do the trick, less graphic and cuts the water works.

Walking up to the horrified and slightly hallucinating knights and mages, he stuck his palm out towards them and looked to Lestat.

”I can do it too….. Without the mess.”

When ending his statement, he rapidly heated the air in front of him. Almost as instantaneous, an explosion touch shape and blew the rest of the forces asunder. Their bodies went limp and flailed some feet back.

”See, no geysers of blood and guts.”

Lestat * Grim Heresy * Lord of Night

The silky silver strands of Lestat's hair, were bright red from the slaughtering. The mage licked off some blood from his lips, as he watched his guild mate engage in battle with the remaining rune knights, who looked absolutely horrified as Ras closed the space between them. After performing some interesting magic, Lestat has never witnessed before. The rune knights we flying several paces, in random directions. They were nothing more than corpses now, of foolish men and women. For this was no ordinary assault, nor were these ordinary mages. Very few could call themselves mages of the Grime Heresy, the name itself sends fear into the hearts of men. "Haha, this is true. However were is the fun in that?" Lestat said in response to his team mate, as he extended his hand forward, yet facing the ground in front of him. A large palm, in the shape of a skull appeared on the dirt, were his hand was facing. The skull hand, is in fact the guild emblem for Grim Heresy, and was roughly twenty yards in circumference. It was a large burning hand, as the flames reached several feet above the ground. The magical pact mark remained burning on the dirt, fueled from the stolen souls collected by their guild master.

"Hahaha" Lestat broke into more laughter at his creation, as he walked onward towards more citizens, who foolishly remained to witness the events transpiring. They all realized he was eyeing them, because panic once again ensued. The people began running and screaming for their lives. Lestat allowed the to leave the scene with their lives, as they will be the best way to draw Major Kevin to the battle field. Lestat began to hear a small sizzling sound, distant, yet getting closer. Then out of no where, his instincts reacted, and he began to dissolve his body, till it completely vanished. He teleported eleven meters away from where he was standing, and turned to face it. A large boulder on fire, came smashing into where he was just located. Letast's face was surprised, as he turned to look in the direction it originated from. There were two rune  mages with staffs, that were performing a deal of magical sigils. Without a doubt, already attempting a counter attack. Then he could hear the rush of near by heart beats, coming from the rear.

Turning his head slightly, Lestat could see four rune knights with their swords drawn, attempting to flank him. Lestat smiled and waited till they were closer, before turning into a great deal of bats, and teleported away. Lestat teleported exactly twenty meters in the air, above the two mages. Looking down, he could see two other mages hiding behind trees, no doubt attempting to sneak attack. Still smiling, Lestat swiftly, and subtly darted behind the hidden mages, who were preoccupied with watching the field. They were all inside the small forest, though Lestat just ten meters deeper then they were. Having one hand out facing a female mage, he began to gather blood essence, around it. Lestat launched a bat, the size of a baseball speeding towards his target. Just before it reached her, the other mage turned around and saw it. However it was too late, and collided with her. He was too close to her, and received a large portion of the damage. Lestat chuckled and instantly darted to them, before they could try to make sense of what just happened.

He went to the first, and strengthened his fingers, and jabbed them into the woman's kidney, dealing heavy damage. She died instantly, and Lestat dropped her like a rag doll. The other mage, sat blood out of his mouth, and began to slowly rise to his feet. Lestat quickly raised his hand, shooting out a single bat, the same size as before. This bat, did not cause an explosion upon colliding with the man. Although it caused a great deal of internal damage. Enough to cause the man to buckle over dead, just like his companion. Lestat was smiling, and began to look outside the closest tree, out onto the other two mages, who were confused on what was going on, though they seemed to be looking towards his direction. No doubt, concerned on the explosion they heard earlier. Lestat bolted out of the woods, and arrived directly in front of the fire and earth mage. They were not expecting the mage to appear, as he did. They made and attempt to scatter, to which the red eyed mage allowed. He snickered, watching them attempting to gain a bit of distance from him, Just as they reached the corner of a building, the four rune knights wielding swords, came around the corner. After the two groups rejoined each other, they gained a great deal of momentum and enthusiasm. They all charged towards Lestat, who was already gathering a deal of blood essence magic into the palm of his left hand. Lestat smiled as he looked at the group, before releasing a speeding red sphere, that was also spinning at the same direction. None were quick enough to avoid the spell, as it collided into one of the knights, that caused an explosion enveloping all six of them. The damage was overwhelming and melted their bodies into goop. Lestat began his over confident laugh once again, though it was short lived, as another four rune knights began to walk onto the large field, and four mages walked upon Ras.
"Tch..." Lestat said under his breath, as he watched the four rune knights withdraw their swords, and  continue walking in the direction to him.

Fun? FUN?! How is this carnage fun? It was messy, grotesque, and disturbing to say the least! Jaeger couldn’t understand it, he could at least clean up after himself! It was just absolutely everywhere, staining the wood below and everything else. For someone that looks to be of an older era and have a certain… class about him, he didn’t act like it. With yet again another sigh, he turned to look at the rest of the living bodies. The civilians that hadn’t yet run were on their last leg, trying to scamper off to safety as they try to fight through the insanity the curse of insanity was giving them.

”Silly people, you’re already as good as dead. Crawl as you might, you won’t escape.”

These civilians were trying to finally get away, unfortunately for them, they have stayed within range of the curse for far too long. Their skin had already shriveled to an irreversible point in time, it wouldn't belong until they perished from the shock, the hallucinations, and withering. Jaeger brought up his wrist to chest level, looking down to it as if he was checking his watch. When he looked back, they had already collapsed, dead from it all. Fantastic, now all that was to be done is to go after the maj0r, the target of their contract. Now the Augurs did say to sneak attack, thought they just might not think too much of their abilities. Where is the confidence boost when you need one?! Lestat seemed to have it all, he pulsed and slammed a hand into the ground, causing the Grim Heresy mark to become visible within the wood.

CRASH. BAM. KABOOM. Behind the dashing devil, a giant rock had land… and it was on fire! The knights seem to be getting more serious with their assault. Using catapults now along with ground forces. Whatever shall the Grims do now? Following this interesting turn of events, two more groups of 8 came flooding into the area. One or two of them nearly slipped in all the blood, would have been humorous if they did. His partner disappeared into bats yet again, dealing with the boulder hurling mages.

Always the dramatic one it seems. The others seemed more preoccupied with him, the eccentric vampire and his chaotic ways. Clearly, he was the larger of the threat with his over the top killing. To a point, it was sort of sad really, just because he didn't make such a mess with his attacks, that doesn't mean he wasn’t strong or noticeable either! Rude. He will just have to wait until the most important time to strike and show them who's boss. The man waited and waited, Lestat eventually came back rejoined the docks, he was rude too, keeping Jaeger waiting for so long.

Once he was back, all the knights and mages circled the vampire, drawing their swords and staves and taking aim. This was his chance, his moment to shine! Jaeger took his own aim with Trinity and fired three shots into the heads of three nights, with his Aura and the shots to the dome, they fell over dead. One must appreciate and love head shots, a critical point of the human body.

”Stupid knights, you shouldn’t turn your back on the enemy.

Now then, I’m going to go after the target. He hasn’t even shown and i’m getting quite tired of this… blood pool. Enjoy your time. Feel free to catch up when you’re done….. or go find more of them to play with. Either way…

    Adios!”

Jaeger gave him a half-hearted wave and sank right into the bloodied wood. The real job begins now!

Lestat * Grim Heresy * Lord of Night

The blood thirsty mage was so involved with his massacre, that he nearly forgot about his team mate. Lestat walked slowly up to the four rune knights whom were all walking carefully up to the tall mage. Lestat allowed them to encircle him, not caring how they attempted to take him down. His confidence beginning to peak from such an over powering force, they have been on River Village's defenses so far. The Rune knights began to feel a little more assured of their situations, after having Lestat surrounded. One rune knight wielding a broadsword with both hands, was sweating profusely.

He stood directly behind Lestat, presumably in his blind spot. The rune knight took a deep gulp, as he lifted his sword into the air, with all of his might, he came bringing it down upon Lestat. Ras whom was watching the entire  event, quickly reacted before the rune knight.
Three magical shots were sent to three of the knight, smashing them in the head. One of these knights, was the one behind Lestat, attempting to strike him. Lestat looked over slightly surprised, and a bit amused. He was glad to see Ras was still above the ground, unsure if he had been taken out by the knights. Lestat strengthened his fingers into a knife like weapon, jabbing it into the stomach of the knight before him. The knight's hands instantly clenched the forearm of Lestat, hoping to stop the penetration. Lestat thrust it in further, causing sever internal bleeding. The Knight fell over, bucking to the pain and wiggling about, before succumbing to the injury.

"These knights are weak, where is my real prey?" Lestat asked Rhetorically to Ras, who was beginning to sing the same tune as he. "Hahaha, I see. Very well. I shall continue to do as I please, in hopes of calling the major forth. I don't care if it required me flipping this entire town upside down, and causing the streets to run crimson with blood." Lestat spoke, an evil smile spreading across his slender face. His expression became more serious, though he was still in a playful kind of mood. Looking over, he could see the remaining four Rune mages, preparing for a plan. They were attempting to take advantage of this moment in time of being either unnoticed, or forgotten. Lestat simply turned away from Ras, to face the enemy mages.
He did not care how his team mate decided to proceed next. He was completely focus on the destruction on the battle field. The mages decided to split into groups of twos, as two sprinted in one direction.

The other two mages began sprinting in the opposite direction as the others.
"Hehe" Lestat allowed to escape his lips softly, as he looked on in amusement. They actually feel this may work. The mage placed his left hand forward, and caused a ruby red sphere to appear, made completely of blood essence. The sphere was shot from his palm, speeding to the two mages running to the right, only twenty meters from Lestat. The sphere smashed into the shoulder of one of the mages, causing a large explosion upon collision. The blast was large scale, killing both of the two mages, as well as a few scattered citizens, that were within range of the blast. A large two story local butcher shop stood behind them, came crashing down from the blast as well. Looking at the other two mages, Lestat realized they were attempting to cast a spell, combined with each other's magic. Lestat smiled as he began to perform his usual bat teleportation. He reappeared behind the two mages, With his fingers hardened with incredible strength, he jabs it into the side of the neck, of the female blond mage. Blood immediately came gushing out, spilling onto the mage next to her.

"Ahh my god!" The mage shouted, as not only blood came pouring on to him, but her corpses fell onto him as well. Before the mage could avoid Lestat, The blood mage placed a hand onto the man's back. The man's blood began to become mixed with the explosive essence of Lestat's magic. Soon his entire being ruptured from the explosive pressure, and his organs, blood, and bones were scattered every where. The mage erupted into laughter, as he quickly sprinted to a small child attempting to flee nearby. The mage grasped the child by the wrists, before pulling with incredible power. With a powerful snap and tear, the child arm was ripped from her body. She let out a blood curdling scream, before Lestat grabbed her by the neck, and bit down hard. He drained the girl who grew silent with every second. Lestat looked forward, still draining the young corpse of blood. It looked like a small band or squad was going to be arriving at their location soon. He grew curious if this was Major Kevin finally answering their house call.

Post by Nekros 21st June 2017, 4:13 pm

Sneaky, very very sneaky. Jaeger disappeared into the wood below. A tight fit for sure; the tree mage is used to merging into the full grown trees, not poorly cut planks that have been used for building purposes. He knew it was a needed purpose, wood for construction and other human related objectives. The only thing was if those that cut down forests replanted or not. It’s a rather sore subject, it was a slightly needed resource but at the same time, he didn't trust them to regrow the forests. For now, the man would just have to do his job. The poachers of tree kind shall have to wait as the mage would have to slowly squeeze through these thinnish planks. While he felt this sluggish, Jaeger could guess that this wouldn't always be the case as his own power would increase.

The two grims were to split up for now. Lestat staying here at their destined meeting place and causing as much havoc as he wants. A bloody ocean was surely going to be what the other was to return to once he finds their target and either leads him to the bath or defeats him alone. OF which, that was to be Jaegers job. As he could move in the wood without notice, he could just sneak up on the Major and attempt to take care of business. “Okay… How am I to do this? Finding him will be fine, He’d likely have the strongest presence in town. How am I to take him?” This was his problem, how to sneak attack the man and take his life.

Left. Right. Left. Right. Right. Left. These directions while sensing was making him slightly disoriented. However, his senses led him to where he needed to be. It was on the far west of the town, hidden away in a cluster of similar looking buildings. With an ear to the… ground, Jaeger could hear the clang and cling of metal armor being shuffled. The major was preparing for battle, it was weird. The info of the job detailed him as being a requip mage, why would he need another set of armor when he could just change into something at will? Either way, this would be the best place to do so. All his units are preoccupied with the abrasive vampire. Major Kevin was singled out, far from his men and unable to call forth more. Jaeger would just need to strike, or at least his main attack as his curse would immediately begin affecting him.

First things first, subduing the target, the best way that he had to do so was tree manipulation. With that, a spell was to be used that would give his magic its name. A large tree, one similar to the ones on either side of the river, rapidly sprouted in the middle of the room. The roof of the building resisted busting open, but that was only for a moment as the tree forced its way through. Phase one, get the tree! Clearly a tree spawning within a house like this would surprise anyone, with that element, Jaeger began manipulating it to grapple and apprehend the Major. He made sure it was done with... harsh movements. Wrapping a Branch around the majors neck, squeezing tight. Roots would lift up to grip the ankles and to hold him still. Hands and wrists were done similarly to the neck and wrapped in branches.

    “What’s this?! Sho… sh..ow yours… elf.”

Lestat * Grim Heresy * Lord of Night

"Boomppft." Was the sound of the child's corpse hitting the ground beneath the vicious mage, who seemed to be on a war path. Stepping onto th child's head, as he began walking forward, he crushed it underneath his weight. The child's skull and brain came bursting out from the pressure, in all directions. Lestat began to whistle as he walked forward, to greet this band of individuals he could feel coming towards him. It was a rather large group of determined individuals, which only made Lestat smile with anticipation. He was sure it had to be major Kevin, and decided to cause a little more carnage, before his group arrived to him. Lestat looked to his right, and noticed a building in the distance he ignored the entire time. A small hospital. Lestat teleported thirty meters in the direction, and then ran an additional ten to reach the entrance. Once he arrived, he could see a few curious eyes, peeking through blinds in various windows. Though he closed his eyes, and could feel hundred of heart beats within the building before him. All panicking and scared, and for good reason. Lestat opened his eyes, and placed a hand before him. A small red sphere began to form, and spin in his palm. Lestat laughed, just before launching the sphere to the building. Speeding towards it, the sphere collided causing a massive explosion, the entire building was destroyed and burning. You could still hear screams of the suffering victims, all trapped inside of the place. Lestat continued laughing, as he turned around to see the group who finally arrived. The group was roughly twenty five meters away, when he caused the blast on the hospital. Upon seeing this, they ran towards the vampiric mage who smiled eagerly. As they made their way to him, he realized none of them were even close to major kevin, let alone a mage. His excitement went down, as he grew disappointed. "Blah.." Lestat said as he lazily dodged each strike from the blades of these people. Lestat didn't even bother to kill or injure the group, and completely ignored them. Though they attempted to taunt him into battle, frustrated at their own weakness. Lestat decided to bolt off and find Ras. He knew his guild mate had to be having better luck with finding the major. The entire down town area of River village was obliterated. Dozens of buildings needing major to minor repair. One bank, a butcher shop, library, and hospital have all been demolished in the destructive onslaught. Hundreds of lives were loss today, and the town will be forever devastated on such a blatant attack. Lestat knew for a fact, the only reason the Major has yet to come find the source, is because he is tied up some where. The mage took off sprinting in the direction of his guild mate, sensing the nearest pact mark.

Death to the Major Empty Re: Death to the Major

Post by Nekros 26th June 2017, 7:09 pm

The sneak attack seemed to work! The major was caught unsuspected by the giant tree. It was great, so was the magic, hence the name. Now, the only kink in the plan was that he was a type of fire mage. Fire plus wood is very bad, it was his only weakness! However, as long as he could keep the mage contained, he didn’t think anything could happen. Right?

The tree stood strong, gripping most of the vital points of Major Kevin. Jaeger had the man just where he wanted him, under his domination! Kinky, right? Having someone bound like that, it just made you feel some sort of power. It was a rush. Jaeger wasn’t normally like this, even with a woman. However, perhaps his partner was getting to him, awakening the sort of… grim side of things. Hopefully it was only temporary. Who knows what might happen next… maybe the tree hugging mage will want to have blood baths and other messy hobbies. Bleh.

    ”I’l..l get ou..t of .. t-this.”

The knight said, violently wriggling his arm to get a hand free. A feisty one, that was for sure. Theman shook, bended, flopped, and twisted to get some part of himself free. It was cute. With that thought, that instant moment, a hand popped free! A resounding success on the part of Jaeger. His one job, and it almost messed up! The mage started swirling magic circles around his hand. A fire was most likely to come from these, either that or a flame based requip. Either way, the duo, mainly the floor board uno, can’t have that. The mage quickly manipulated the area of the house, nearly freezing it. Fire cannot survive without a base heat, not long enough to burn the tree down anyway.

As punishment, Jaeger strapped his hand back in and began to have several branches wail on the Major. One, two, three, four, five….the hits kept coming. It would be a slow death and defeat, but it would provide the sneak attack recommended to them. Don’t need to be too flash, eh? A simple bludgeoning would be fantastic, minimal bloodshed, loud clanging sounds, what could be better? A fine woman.. No no, those thoughts would have to be for a job well done. Above him, armor was being dented as limb and limb slammed against the major. His screams became more and more annoying, they rang out. He was a major with the Rune Knight; one would think he could take more before becoming like this.

Jaeger took a branch with a lot of leafs to muffle the sounds. It would be a shame if more minions came by and helped free him. Blood began streaming down, drip, drop, drip, drop; A small pool began forming on the floor. The crimson puddle sent its scent into the air. Its very essence filling the space with a nauseating aroma. It would seem that a piece of the armor eventually broke and punctured the skin. A momentary wif later, his pact mark began to irritate and inform him of his partner coming closer. Greeeeat. He was probably coming because he smelt blood.

Thirteen. Fourteen. Fifteen. Sixteen. The branches felt like blacksmith hammers hitting the forge to craft the very armor he was wearing. The screams eventually faded as the major slipped into a deep, deep sleep.

Lestat * Grim Heresy * Lord of Night

The red eyed mage continued west of town, attempting to find his team mate. Lestat walked through what seemed to be a pretty deserted part of town, then he began to smell it. The lingering smell of blood in the air. The mass of bloodshed that he caused is quite a ways behind him, and this was the only blood sensed in this direction, the direction leading him to the guild pact. Smiling, he knew it had to be Ras. Lestat turned into a bunch of bats, and teleported right next to a rather small puddle of blood.

In front of him stood a mage, contained by powerful branches and vines. They were wrapped so tightly, binding the man's limbs, that he was unable to move himself from the lashings he was taking. Lestat being behind the large man, could sense his magic essence, and knew this had to be the major. While still unnoticed by the major, Lestat placed his right hand forward slightly, with his palm facing up. He created a tiny red sphere of blood essence magic. Simultaneously, Lestat reached out his left hand, and created a large red arm. The massive red arm, created of pure blood essence magic, swiped hard from behind the Major. The force of the blow, and powerful fire, burned through the binds holding him. The major was sent flying several meters forward from the force of the blow. While still in the air, The blood mage launched the magic sphere from his right hand. The speeding sphere, the size of a tennis ball, collided onto the same wound left from his previous spell to the back. The sphere erupted into a powerful blast, causing the nearby buildings to come crumbling down. Lestat began to chuckle as the major's seemingly lifeless corpse flew into the rubble of the building. Lestat was unsure where his guild mate exactly was, as he sensed him here in this location. Lestat began to walk over to the body of the major, to check and ensure his death. Upon approach, it seemed the major's body was broken, yet his spirit not. The man still some how was clinging to life, though he could not move a single muscle in his body. He has more broken bones in his body, than days have passed so far this year.
"A resilient one, huh?" Lestat asked the major with a smile. Lestat got down on his knee, and bent over to the major's wounded body. Creating a knife form with his powerful hands, Lestat jabbed it into the major's open neck, ripping it apart. The grim mage knew the job had to be finished, soon word would indeed travel and who knows whom would come to aid the major. Lestat looked for his companion to say good bye, before parting ways. If he did not find him, he would just speak to him again, should they cross paths in Necropolis or the Guild hall. Lestat felt satisfied with the level of destruction caused to the village, and was ready to leave it.

Eighteen. Nineteen. Twenty. The Grim pact mark was violently alerting Jaeger to the presence of his comrade that had just arrived. Regrettable, the blood that had been shed had brought the vampire here and what did he do? Blow it up. Like, its not even a cool explode you could walk away from. It wasn’t one that could be used to make you look like a badass as you would have tried to ignore the force of the explosion and continue on your way, back turned to it. It was just blood and horrid smells, this was definitely not cool.

As the blood bomb went off, Jaeger was forced out of his hiding spot as it was being destroyed. The wood of the floors went sailing high. The walls of stone and wood expanded and were thrusted outward into other nearby houses. The major went in the air some feet as well, landing harshly on the ground, yet still alive. Poor fellow, he should have just let go of life during the countless bludgeonings the tree mage was giving him.

The mage looked to the vampire.

“Really… again with the messy explosions?! Just… Im going to need a new suit.”

Jaeger said as the Lestat was digging his way into the targets throat. Eventually, he was satisfied with himself and gave his goodbyes. This was likely not going to be the last they saw of each, especially since they were in the same guild. Jaeger looked to the dead target, sort of sorry for how gruesome it had to get. Nevertheless, it was done. The man placed a hand onto the majors chest and implanted, burned, and embedded the sign of Grim Heresy. A much easier to see version than a giant one that needed to be seen from the sky. With all business done, he slipped back into the ground, out the other end, and floated his way to freedom as a blonde haired elf.
