A serpent dragon flew through the clouds in the sky and over the ocean with the dual-eyed demon riding on its back. The duo had been flying for a good while now but neither wanted to stop until they arrived at their destination. "Sorry, Zin!" Cirven yelled out as they moved through the air. "I know you might be tired after all this flying but we are almost there! Just a bit more and I will be able to test my skill against some strong opponent's and get stronger from it! Maybe I will even find myself a new weapon to use! I have been craving a new blade!" He continued yelling out and only grinned at the thought of what he planned to do.
He peered down below himself and through the clouds to see the tropical landscape that made up the country of Ca-Elum coming up on them. "There it is, Zinny! Let's go!" Zinnath gave off a small moaning sound and then started to move through the air faster to please her owner and best friend. The new pace caused Cirven to have to grip onto Zinnath strongly or else risk falling off from her and into the ocean below. He was not the type to enjoy water much at all and he had not tried going into a big mass of water yet as a Electric Slayer so he decided to not change that now. He knew eventually he would have to try jumping into the ocean or something similar soon to test it because he was a pirate now so the water was a constant thing in his life now.
The duo of owner and large flying dragon arrived on the shore of Ca-Elum not too long after Zinnath sped up. "You really got us here in no time, Zin." The purple haired demon walked on the beach area they had landed on as he spoke. He turned to Zinnath and put out his hand to her which she quickly reacted to by putting her head out towards him. "Good job, girl! Maybe we can find something exotic out here for you to eat? That would be cool, right?" He pet her as he spoke and the mention of food made Zinnath's stomach growl out loud loudly. "Take that as a yes." He laughed at her from the reaction her body gave with the mention of food.
His laugh was replaced by a serious expression when the sound of bubbles came out from the ocean near the shore. "Zinny, get ready for anything." Both of them readied themselves for what would make its way out of the ocean which would surprise them slightly because a giant crab came rushing out of the water towards them. The giant crab's pincers snapped at the air as it charged and when it was close enough to both the dragon and demon it attempted to use its pincers to attack them. Both Zinnath and Cirven managed to avoid the attack and create some space between them and the giant creature. Zinnath's stomach growled again and was accompanied this time by Cirven's own stomach from the sight of the new enemy. "It does look pretty tasty, huh?" cirven spoke out as he rubbed his stomach to help quell the hunger he was feeling.
The giant crab somehow seemed to understand the comment made by Cirven and lunged at him with both of its pincers snapping away to try and take chunks out of the demon. "Whoa, whoa. Calm down there! Its nature for things higher on the food chain to want to eat things lower on the food chain!" He spoke out as he dodged attack after attack. The crab became enraged by how it could not get Cirven and slammed its pincer into the ground just barely missing Cirven. It then pulled up its pincer to through out the sand into Cirven's face. The sand blinded him and the crab quickly took advantage and picked up the demon with one of its pincers where it tried to crush him. Cirven growled out in pain from the pincer squeezing around him. "You are pretty smart, huh? You made a mistake though in grabbing a slayer of electricity..." Cirven let loose a shockwave of electricity that fried the crab and cooked it from the high voltage. He was still in the pincer after the crab's defeat and had to pry his way out. He landed on the ground with Zinnath rushing towards him to make sure he was okay. "I'm fine, I'm fine." He spoke to his partner while she brought her large head near his body and used her tongue to lick him. It was one of her ways to check up on him and show she was trying to do such. If he did not respond well enough to her tongue licking him then she would take further action. "He got me a bit but either way we have a meal on our hands now!" He drooled slightly from the smell of the cooked crab meat near him.
