Haia was unsure about the job she has decided to take up along with her guildmate Julius Seas. Not because she did not trust him, the man has proven to be a very trustworthy indeed and she heard from Remus that Julius is a capabke fighter. The job hesitation actually came from inside her. A seven year old girl goes mass genocide with no clear intentions that even the Council was scared enough to warn dark guilds? Haia remembers that she literally did the same thing to her aunt, expect it was only her aunt that died, along with her whole house in a brilliant black and white pillar. Based on reports that she had put research into the job, Haia was unsure about herself. Usually she was confident, but now it is like she is back to her old self, the timid and shy Haia, the self that everyone knew for sometime, the one she gave up on. Somehow, before she finally had the courage to say to Julius about accompanying her to the Haunted Village where the hunt for the young girl would take place, Haia managed to smile a bit.
So there they were, stranded, not really they were kinda at the edge of town where one side was sunny and happy while the other side, the side they were in, was gloomy and everything was dead. Even the grass was ash grey like burnt grass. Haia hesitantly stepped forward, the grass neath her feet cracked and shrivelled like decaying leaves. Why was she so afraid all of a sudden. They have yet to even step foot close and Haia could already feel herself tremble. Was the thought of killing suddenly changing for her? But it felt deep, like magic. Was her magic warning her? Haia was afraid, cold sweat slowly crawling down her face. Yet she remains sane and not paranoid.
Julius was on his way to the haunted village where apparently an seven year old girl committed mass genocide on a guild she had joined. How can it be that no one is able to defeat an seven year old girl? That's just too pathetic for word... Julius said as he grabbed an piece of bubble gum an started chewing on it, blowing a couple of bubbles in the process. Well the job stated that the girl has the power of an A-rank wizard... So I don't blame them for not being able to defeat her... Squable stated. Julius gave him an glare while the bubble gum bubble burst. If that guild had enough man power and even stronger wizards then that girl then they could defeat them with ease, yet they haven't so they failed miserably! Even the magic council is weak and pathetic enough in not being able to defeat that girl! So they choose to get on their knees and beg other guilds to clean up the mess for them! Julius said as he pointed towards Squable who was flying right beside him. Julius still hasn't forgiven the magic council for turning Fairy Tail into an dark guild so had grewn an despise towards them. Anyhow the gist of all this, is basically that this girl didn't had the proper education, so we have to play like parents and give this little girl the spanking she deserves! Julius said as he continued to blow an few more bubbles.
Julius and Squable weren't alone, they were accompanied by their guild mate Haia whom had asked Julius to tag along with her. Julius didn't knew much about the girl only knowing her name and her face. The pair neared an rather dark and forest like area leading towards the haunted village. So Haia... Since we are in this together, it would be wise to get to know each other more since we don't know a thing about each other! So tell Julius everything that is of importance and Julius will share some info as well! Julius said as he gave the girl a smile and a wink. He also handed the girl a piece of bubble gum.

Haia wanted to think of a way to introduce herself, but she guessed Julius initiated the gesture before she did and what do you know she was right on point. Haia scratched the back of her head, obviously unprepared for an introduction about herself. Haia does however manged to stutter a few words out of her mouth as she combs her fingers through her black hair, the one lock of hair still remaining obvious.
"Um well... I-I guess I'll share something important..." Haia muttered as her hair fell back down to its natural flow, like a big fluffy field. Haia was not sure what kind of important information she might want to share. That she is attracted to Noheme? No that is not really relevant... That she managed to murder her aunt in her sleep? Might scare the poor guy and based on his expression of tone about the magic council, Haia was not going to even mentioned a murder at all. But an idea finally enters her brain.
Haia raised her right arm, outstretched in front of her. Her left arm was raised to an equal level, except bent like she is going to play a harp or lyre. However, that was clearly not the case when Haia raised her hands' position so it was angled towards the most readily avaliable light source, the sun. It surprised Haia that the sun even shines down upon a cursed place like this. But it somehow brought her comfort, the light of hope, the sun was shining down upon them. Haia took a breathe and held it and begins to mimic an action, as if working the loom. Slowly it was apparant, light was gather around her fingers like string and eventually, Haia was holding what looks like a yarn of light. It glowed gloriously in the ashen and barren lands that they were on.
"I'm a light mage you see, I can control light and if you don't mind... Please do not retaliate!" Haia grabs an arrow and with a swift strike, grazes Julius's cheek before taking her gloves off and places a finger on the taller mage's cheek. The wound would heal quickly and the stinging sensation would be gone. It would look like nothing happened. "I'm a healer, so don't hesitate to come to me for aid." Haia then quickly retracts her arm and flicks her fringe as she puts her gloves back on, looking away looking a bit embarrased.
Julius didn't knew why Haia was being nervous, was it because of how bold he was towards Haia? As far Julius could tell he just asked her a simple question out of interest, asking people about their backstory was much more easier in Fairy Tail then here in Black Sails, which was understandable since everyone was in Black Sails for an reason. Some reason are pure and innocent to taste the sweet taste of adventuring, while other reasons could be dark which they'd rather not talk about. Julius didn't want to pry to much in someone's past that much anyway, cause sometimes it's better not to know then knowing. Psst Julius-kun... Squable started to whisper in Julius' ear. I think you made Haia nervous... Squable whispered. No shit Sherlock, Julius already made that conclusion Julius whispered back.
But then Julius noticed that Haia was making weird hand gestures and before he knew it she was holding something that looked like a yarn, though it was glowing. Julius was trying to figure out where the heck Haia pulled out an glowing string of yarn. She told Julius that she was an light mage Interesting... Julius was fascinated to say at least by the magic though he couldn't figure out what she meant that Julius shouldn't retaliate. And before he knew it he felt an sharp pain crossing his cheek. Ack! What the hell!? Julius yelled out, he touched the place where he felt the pain and he looked towards his fingers and noticed an crimson red substance in his hand he was bleeding. Before Julius could even make an comment Haia touched the water mage's cheek and before he knew it the wound was disappeared, she told Julius she could also heal people. While Julius was impressed he was everything besides amused by the sudden attack from Haia. Julius was starring daggers towards Haia and spoke up. Listen very well! The next time you need to give an demonstration don't use Julius as your guinea pig! And Julius would've believed you if you just told Julius you could also heal! Julius said ending with an cough. Anyhow, Julius can tell you that Julius is an water mage, so make sure your remember that! Got it? Julius said before proceeding on.
Danganronpa ~ Despair Syndrome:
After an while the finally managed to find the haunted village, and it certainly looked like no one has been living in this village for an long time. There were run down buildings everywhere and Julius felt an bit unease just standing in this village. The perfect place for an murdering girl to hide. Keep your guard up Haia! Julius told the light mage.

Haia staggered back, obviously a bit scared by Julius's outburst. The water mage was right she should not have demostrated like that. Haia could simply have just bitten her thumb and healed herself in front of him but why did she do it? Haia pats her face, letting Julius walk first. What was going on, she usually never acted like this. The girl just could not understand her feelings right now. Haia felt like she was being watched, but from where? It felt like eyes were on her from every direction. Soon ths light mage took a deep breath and sucked up her emotions. Haia remembered what she was here for, she was here, with a slightly agitated Julius, to take down a seven year old girl who could wipe a whole guild. Haia clenches her fist and raised in to her chest and nods. With some of her confidence returning after that short reminder of her feelings and getting herself straight, she quickly catches up with the water mage and hopes he could at least be cool enough to forgive her.
Haia however does not get the chance to say her apology when they arrived at the ruins. The girl narrowed her eyes, it helps to give her a clear view of the area at a much further and detailed distance. The girl then reaches for her bow and arrow, Haia then sees the ball of light was sticking to the top of her longbow. The girl sighs and leaves it there. It would serve as a nice beacon at least if it grew dark while they searched. Julius was right however, the atmosphere was sending shivers down her spine, the same chill she would feel from a murderous aura. In fact it was a murderous aura. Haia knows that aura. It stank of every cold blooded hunter, to kill not for survival, but for game and profit. It came of her aunt to. Haia bit her lower lip and wets her pink lips with her soft tongue. Haia held her breath, trying to listen out for anything. Nothing. Haia stood in a more lax position but remained alert nonetheless. Soon Haia decided to take a step closer to the village, making sure she was in Julius's sights. Her bow was at ready and her arrow nocked before taking a peek over a ruined wall. Nothing. Uneasiness crept up slowly as she returned to the water mage.
"I guess not here Juli," Haia told Julius with the nickname she gave him on the spot. "It worries me though..."
Death. That's how Julius would describe this village, the whole village was deserted and it seemed like nature was starting to claim back what was hers as most house were run down and plants started to grow onto them. Some houses were even destroyed to the ground where only some walls what was once an house were left. Julius decided to inspect one of the houses in search of the little girl. Haia, Julius will start inspecting this house! If you spot something or someone make sure you let Julius now by giving an scream. Julius said before entering an house.
The door was closed, though luckily the lock was rusted enough to make Julius enter with one simple kick against it. Oi Julius-kun, do you think it's a good idea in making so much noise? What if you alert the girl of your presence! Squable said and Julius had to agree that he had an point. How else would you suggest on entering this house? Throwing an rock through an window? That would make even more noise. Now quit your yapping, that will alert the girl even more. Julius said with an shrug. The house was big enough to fit in a family of five. At the end of the entrance hall there was an staircase leading to the second floor. In the middle if the hall there was an door leading into the living room with on the opposite side an door to the kitchen. Julius skipped those rooms and went straight towards the second floor. The walls of the halls were decorated by vines from plants.
Walking up onto the second floor there was an small hallway with four doors. three of them let to different bedrooms and one of them let towards an bathroom there was also some stairs leading towards the attic. Two doors have fallen out of their frame and one of them was completely busted into the room the only door that was intact was the door leading towards bathroom. Julius decided to inspect one of the rooms, which looked like an child's room, or at least what was left of the room since it saw green of all the plants that were growing through the house. An small make-up table was placed against a wall with an mirror. On the small table there were an couple of family photos, with on them an happy family enjoying on a trip. The picture showed an man and a woman and a boy and a girl. They all look so happy... And then seeing the state this village is in now just feels so bad... Julius hopes this family managed to escape whatever ordeal came to this village... It always pained Julius when an change could exist that a child grows up without any parents, since Julius had to grow up without his parents.
Danganronpa ~ Despair Syndrome 2:
Death... Agony... Help me... A chill ran through Julius' spine as he suddenly heard whispers coming from behind him. Squable stop it! Making creepy noises like that it isn't funny! Julius said angry, though Squable didn't knew what Julius was talking about. Oi! I never said anything and I have no idea what you're talking about! Squable said in his defense. Julius raised an eyebrow. If it wasn't you... Then Julius hopes that it isn't Haia doing this! She'd better not since Julius is still pissed about that stunt she pulled off! Julius looked out of the window to see if he could see Haia soemwhere, and he saw her inspecting an old house. Julius took an step away from the window. Julius thinks it's for the best we leave this house... Don't you agree Squable? Squable didn't said anything an simply nodded, Julius made his way towards the entrance and left the house, hoping whatever he heard was an actual person.

"H-Hey!" Haia wanted to ask Julius to stop from going in but he did. They needed to stick together. Haia knows that Julius is a rank higher than her, which is good but Haia is two ranks below, that is risky unless someone is there to help her. Nonetheless, Haia shakes her head before blinking. There was a white sword, not the radiant white that comes from her Valkyrie's Blade, but a ghastly sinister white, like a ghost. It disturbs Haia, but at least it maintains a distance for now. Haia wipes her eyes and blinks. The girl squeezes her eyes shut and still sees the ghastly blade floating. Haia staggers and shock was written all over her face. No matter where she looked, the sword remained in the center of her vision like crosshair on a gun. The girl slowly walks beneath a podium, straying away from Julius. Haia puts a finger on her lips, the sword was annoying her more than scaring her. It likes a blind spot after staring at a bright object for too long. The girl stood there, to take in the scenario of the village. It was gone. Some places remained in tact, like the house Julius entered, but they had equal infrastructure to the ruined ones. An artist would take this as a chance to interpret the hidden "inequality" behind it. But Haia knew better, based on her inspection. Haia sighs before closing her eyes and resting against a pillar holding up the podium. Her ears caught something. It sounded like whistling. The kind she did not enjoy. Haia then hears something hit the wood above her. There she saw, a ghastly white tip. And more seem to hit that spot and Haia knew it was her que to run. The podium bursts into splinters as it gave way to the weight of the many spears that impaled itself into it, barely crashing down in the running archer.
The pirate girl ran like the wind, her emerald cloak billowing behind her as a rain of spears came plummeting down like falcons trying to catch its target prey. Haia kept running, the spears seem to endless fall. Her amazing stamina did managed to eventually diminish the endless rain of death before Haia finds herself somewhere. The village was huge, and it all looked the same. Haia did not like it, her heart was racing. Racing like mad. It was quiet, too quiet. Haia did not like this kind of quiet. Her legs trembled and she struggled to main a vice grip on her bow. Then something else broke the silence.
"Hehe... hehe... Haha... Haha..." Haia staggered, her eyes widen and the pupils darted around for a sign of life. It was not good. The sword was gone but the fact that the voice. Its cackle, it echoed and it was not soothing her alreasy frightened state. The girl held on to whatever bravery she had to keep herself standing despite shaking in fear. Haia raised her bow, and nocked an arrow and spins around. Nothing. She spins again. Nothing too. Her heart started beating more faster. Haia then realized. The girl got seperated from Julius. To her, it was a bad situation. Very bad. The girl struggled to maintain stance. Haia was frozen in fear, paralyzed to a spot she did not favor. Haia was feeling hysterical, the next she swears she will fire an arrow towards it, but with her unfocused and clouded mind, she doubts it having a chance of success. Fear was creeping up her spine each moment, slowly stilling every muscle in her body till she became limp and drops to the ground. The girl was starting to regret her decisions, the silence, it scares her. The sheer eerie feeling that fogged the streets and clouded the skies. Haia looks up. The sun was still shining, despite the clouds that cover it. The girl picked a god and pray that she may come out this job alive and well. Hopefully sane too. This fear trip was the worst idea that ever came out of her brain. Haia now could do nothing, but stand on sentry, and fight whatever might come her way.
Julius left the house with still an chill running through his spine, from who was that voice? It had to belong to someone, it couldn't be Squable nor Haia. Was it perhaps Lilith hiding in the shadows of the house? Maybe the girl on the picture Julius saw was actually Lilith but if that's the case would she be the reason this village became known as the haunted village? Did she actually murdered the whole village, no that couldn't be possible if that were the case then the village would be full of dead decaying bodies, or maybe Lilith found a way to depose of them but that also couldn't be the case, she's just an seven year old girl how would she be able to depose bodies of an entire village, but then again the wanted post did state she had the power of an A-rank wizard. Julius' head began to fill with theories what could've caused the downfall of this village. Even though Julius was creeped out by the whispers he heard in that house, it didn't stop him to investigate more of this village and it's houses that were still standing. Before entering the house Julius looked up into the sky and noticed the sun was about to set, which could bring the two mages into an disadvantage considering the stories that are being told about this village.
The house Julius entered was relatively the same as the last house he had entered. Julius entered the living room and it was badly damaged. The couch was upside down, an old fashioned tv was smashed in by what seemed to be like an lamp stand. The walls of the living room where decorated with vines that were hanging all over the room. Julius stumbled with his feet onto an cylindrical object, he looked down and it appeared to be an flashlight. Julius picked the flashlight up and pressed the button in the hopes it still worked, and it was fortunate it still did. Thank goodness that we at least have something to see with when it will be completely dark outside... By the way Squable Julius would like to share Julius' theories on what might have happened with this village... Squable looked towards Julius. Oh what might that be? Well Julius thinks it might have been Lilith that brought this village into the the state we're witnessing right now, but that wouldn't make any sense giving the fact in what state this village is right now and the age that she is described with... Julius thinks she might be an demon of some sorts that takes the form of an seven year old girl... It may be an bit far fetched but this village is none of our concern anyway, we just need to make sure we arrest Lilith to gain that jewel bonus... Squable gave an nod.
Danganronpa ~ despair syndrome 2:
It was then in that moment Julius heard an loud and girly scream piercing through the silence of the entire village. You heard that Squable? Julius thinks Haia might be in danger! Let's go! Julius said towards Squable making an sprint towards door. Julius turned on the flash light and started to look around his surroundings in the hopes he might encounter Haia. HAIA! WHERE ARE YOU? Julius screamed, hoping she gave an response, but alas that scream was all for naught. Bloody hell! We need to hurry! Who knows what might have happened towards her! In these kind of situations Julius would usually send out Squable to scout the area from up air, though considering how dangerous and dark this village was at night Julius decided not to. Julius quickly picked up the pace and started to run around, like a chicken without his head. Julius kept switching sides with the flashlight he had found, he would occasionally switch to his left side and then to his right side.
At the edge of despair Julius almost gave up his search, but then a glimmer of hope was at the end of the flashlights' range. Up ahead Julius noticed an girl laying on the ground it was hard to see but it seemed like Haia was shaking in fear, it was almost like she was in a state of shock she must have experienced something horrifying if it brought her to an state like this. Julius wanted to walk towards her and comfort her but then something started to reflect in the flashlights' light, and seemed to be an floating sword who was setting it's targets towards Haia. Oh no you won't... Water whip! Julius created an whip made out of water, he quickly made the end of the whip wrap around the hilt of the sword Julius tried to pull the sword away but it was fighting back. Well, well aren't we feisty! Don't worry though, Julius will you tame you into submission... HIYAH! Julius let out an scream and with one strong pull the sword flew backwards towards the other side of the village. With the sword out of the way Julius ran towards Haia and wrapped his arms around her, in an attempt to calm her down. It's alright Haia... Julius is here... Julius said in a calm tone.

The girl laid on the ground helpless and feeling miserable. Each moment ticked past, but no clock in sight to tick and tock and tell tine. Each moment felt like a huge hour, as Haia shivers scared from the uneasy silence. It was worse too, the sword waa getting closer, lookingly more and more deadly with each bob it took towards Haia, as if the person, if there is a person, was limping ever so slowly, with its hand raised and ready to bring the sword down on her. The blade twitches and sometimes and expands as if to confuse the young girl. But it did not matter, fear felt like a poison, and the poison was finally reaching its peak. But then she heard a sound. It sounded faint, but it was loud. Haia watched a whip made of water wrap itself around the ghastly hilt and fought it over control. Eventually the sword was sent flying through the air. Haia wanted to look, but still felt herself shivering in her boots before. Before Julius hugged her. Haia felt his embrace and was surprised by how warm it felt. The cold barren land had never felt so warm. Haia lets herself calm down, her cool collective head returning as her fear slips away and she takes deep breathes. Haia sighed before giving Julius a pat on the head.
"Thanks Juli, I needed that..." Haia let a small smile show up before shifting out of his arm's embrace and getting up. Haia bends down to pick her longbow, Orion up and looks over her shoulder at Julius before taking a slow stroll. Haia then stops, barely a few feet from Julius and turns around. "Hey Julius, let's stick together okay?" The girl chuckles to herself and lets out a small cough to clear her throat, taking the moment to wipe her cold sweat from her forehead, cheeks and neck.
Haia walks slowly, trying her best to find any signs of a seven year old girl. The faster they do this the faster they could leave this accursed and miserable place, and the endless silence that shrouds the area in a fog of uneasiness.
Julius felt Haia trembling in his arms, but the trembling soon disappeared and he noticed that Haia finally had calmed down. She gave Julius an pat on the head, which caused his pirate hat to be a bit tilted, she stood up and thanked Julius. She also suggested the two of them remained together for the time being. Julius readjusted his pirate hat and stood up again. That seems like an good idea, especially since it's so dark outside this village an the silence will drive you mad... Though Julius wonders what that swords deal was... And how it even managed to float... Julius thought deeply, maybe it was Lilith who was using her magic to play some pranks on the two wizards. Anyhow let's explore the village together some more, we are able to see some thanks to this flashlight, but are you able to use your magic to illuminate the area for us Haia? Haia was a light mage so it could be possible, though Julius didn't knew if she was able to use her magic at her full potential when it was dark outside.
The two mages walked around the dark and haunted village and they occasionally walked past some abandoned houses, destroyed houses, broken street lamps and the list went on. By the way Haia... It may be strange but it might ease our minds an bit... What made you join Black Sails? Julius asked this question to almost all of the Black Sails members he went on a job with, he already asked Remus about his reasons. Of course it was none of Julius' business on what her reasons where about joining an pirate themed guild, but perhaps on telling him on why she joined, might bring the two closer. His parents always thought him that an crews bond is the only thing others can't steal from you, it may be an bit cheesy and giving it more thought it actually was, but Julius believes what his parents told him. If it makes you more comfortable, then please allow Julius on the reason why Julius joined the guild... Julius took an deep breath and started talking.
Zero escape Virtue's Last Reward ~ confession :
Julius joined Black Sails for one purpose: to become a proud pirate like Julius' parents used to be. At first Julius didn't want to become an pirate, but after all the things that happened in Fairy Tail, Julius felt like it was time for an change... And that's when Julius heard about Black Sails and Julius had set sail towards an new beginning... Julius had given it much thought back then and it felt good to follow his parents in their footsteps. Anyhow Julius doesn't want to make this a completely sad story considering this village is sad already by it's self! Julius pressed on with searching for the little girl.
Danganronpa ~ Despair Syndrome:
After a while of walking Julius could see in the distance some burning candles. Julius was surprised to say at least since all this time they didn't saw an single light in the distance after an walk around the village. The moon was out an clearly visible, it was an full moon surrounded by countless of stars, if they weren't in an haunted village right now Julius could say it was an great view. Let's check out those candles... Maybe Lilith is there... And watch out for any weapons that might be floating around... Julius said softly. Wouldn't it be an bit convenient if Lilith might be there... What if it's an trap? Squable asked worried. At this point Squable, those candles are the only leads we have and besides Julius doesn't know when the batteries in this flash light might run out... But Julius gets your concern... Let's go!
The mansion:
When arriving at the candles the two mages saw, it appeared it created an path towards an old run down Japanese styled mansion. This please just screams Lilith's name... Julius is sure she's in here... Julius said towards the Haia. Julius could feel an aura of dread oozing from the mansion. Julius took the honor of opening the front door, he grabbed the door's handles with both of his hands an with one swing he opened the doors into the mansion. Haia, watch out! Julius screamed as he pushed Haia towards the ground by throwing himself towards her. When opening the door an barrage of spears shot towards Julius, there was at least thirty of them, though because of Julius' quick thinking he managed to cause no harm to the both of them. Squable who quickly flew away, flew back towards the two mages. Yeah Julius is alright... How about you Haia? Julius hoped that the girl was alright.

Haia stared at the light on the end of the bow arc, dangling like lantern. It did not provide much light but it this dark operation, it certainly helped to have some light. Haia kept glancing at it, her eyes on both the road ahead and the light. Light gave her comfort, it meant tranquilty for her and hope in the darkness they were left in by the council. Haia honestly wonders why the Council even bothers. But the girl digress, it was not right to question how law runs in a foreign land. Haia looks down. Haia wonders why she still the land of Fiore foreign without a second thought. The soil her boots had trampled on for years, the cobblestone of streets she trekked and dirt she had kicked up. The air she breathes was not as magical and as fresh as Seven, the place she was born. The sky was not as clear as Fiore, but the beauty of the blue sky draws her. The trees and grass were not as green as Seven, but Fiore displayed a wonderous amount of color and vibrancy. Haia's spirits felt a bit lifted, as her boots trekked through the ground with Julius by her side.
Then Julius asked the age old question. Haia looks down, unsure of how to answer. Haia remembers the day. The girl had just only boarded a ship in hopes of prehaps exploring the open waters, what she got was a bargain between getting tied to the keel of the Myrmidon or joining a guild of pirates while under the watchful eye of Cirven. Haia understands the reasons, she did sneak in by accident in an attempt of curiousity. Haia was hesitant to answer Julius, seeing how he looks very proud of his past and history. Having parents to look up to, following in their footsteps. Haia does not remember much at all. Her mother was a wonderful woman, her dad a simple woodsman. If anything she best avoided talking about her aunt and how she mysteriously ended up in a pig cart and woke up in Hargeon. When Haia managed to think of an answer, she was interrupted by Julius again.
The mage was knocked to the ground as spesrs flew out like a swarm of bats. Haia mentally jabs herself to stay focused, no more daydreaming in the situation they were in. Haia quickly gets up and apologizes to Julius and told him that she was feeling alright. Haia looks around, the spears were gone, but she still feels something really dark inside the mansion. Slowly, Haia flicks a bit of light to illuminate the inside from where they were, but the darkness immediately consumed the light. Haia shudders. Whatever was in there, it felt monsterous. Haia looks at Julius.
"Ready Julius?" Haia said as she slowly steps inside, and driving her hope into the light thay hung of her bow, empowers it to glow bright, at least being able to illuminate the area for them to see a clear path forward into the hallway.

Julius was glad to hear that Haia was alright from the sudden attack from the spears that came out of the mansions entrance something wants to keep the two mages from entering the mansion. Haia took the honor to enter the mansion, her bow and arrow provided some light in the dark hallways of the mansion, luckily Julius had a flashlight with him that could also illuminate some of their path in the dark hallways of the mansion. Squable looked towards Julius, I think she's in here, so it's the best to stay cautious! Squable said a bit worried. Julius and Haia can take care of ourselves, it should be you who needs to be cautious considering you have no combat capabilities! Julius said with a shrug towards Squable, though Julius did appreciate the concern from the parrot. Julius noticed that it started to snow suddenly and the moon got completely covered by the clouds that brought the snow with them, there went their only beacon of light that made the ordeal in the village a bit more bearable. When Julius followed Haia into the mansion, the doors closed with a loud noise sending a chill down to Julius spine. What the hell? Julius said as he tried to pull open the double doors that brought them into the mansion. Julius pulled as hard as he could but the doors refused to open, it seems like something doesn't want them to leave. Ugh bloody hell! First they sent a barrage of spears towards us as if they want us to leave! And now they seal the door as if they want us to stay! Can that girl please make up her mind? Julius was getting very annoyed by all the events that took place during their investigation in the village.
The hallway they were walking in showed off how much of a beating and old this mansion was, there was stuff laying all around the hallway and a few cupboards were tipped over with shards of glass laying around them, the walls of the hallways had a decaying shade on them, and for some reason lit candles were placed in the hallway. By the look of these candles, it seems like someone is still occupying this mansion... And there is only one person that still roams around this village. At a certain point the hallway split into two different directions and in front of them there was an Japanese sliding door. Great... Looking arounf the mansion is going to take a while... Where on earth is this girl? Julius shined some light into the two paths they could take, each path would bring them towards a different door, but he could hear footsteps coming from behind the sliding door. Stay close to Julius Haia... Julius whispered towards the light mage, Julius slowly opened the door and took a peek inside the room that was behind the door. It looked like a small courtyard, Alright... The coast is clear for now... Keep your guard up! Julius whispered towards Haia.
The courtyard had a square form, with on the left and the right side there were hallways leading towards different doors at the back of the courtyard there were another pair of double doors, in the middle of the courtyard there was a big tree without it's leafs. Snow slowly descendant giving the branches a layer of snow, the base of the tree had a small layer of snow as well and the tree's branches were decorated with charms. Hmmm... By the looks of it, it seems like this mansion was owned by a religious family... It makes Julius wonder though, why Lilith is so attached to this place? Maybe she was part of the family that lived here? It would make sense why Lilith is so attached to this village, even though it was still in ruins. Julius walked over to the double doors and opened them, but they were greeted by yet another floating sword. The sword tried to attack Julius but he dodges just in time to activate raid time. His pocket watch radiated a gold light and a magical aura slowed down time in the area, unimpressive! Julius taunted, he grabbed the sword and threw it back through the doors he came through. When Julius ended raid time the doors shut with a loud noise, Julius tried to open them, but these doors were sealed shut as well like the doors at the entrace. Ugh, bloody hell! Guess we have to find a way around...

Haia strolls slowly in front of Julius, her mind somewhat occupied like before. Something was troubling her greatly, just who was Lilith? Is Lilith even a person? Is Lilith even human to begin with? Whatever the reason behind Lilith's existence, something keeps telling her, this is not right, this is absurd, this is mysteriously creepy. Haia rubs her bow arm as a chill came over her. Haia snaps back to attention when the door behind them snaps shut and she points her bow with a arrow already drawn back. The door was simply locked. The girl relieved the tension on the bowstring but kept the arrow in her fingers. Last thing she needed was another surprise attack and another panic strike. As shs watched Julius struggle with the door, Haia delved back into thought. Just what was going on truly. Why would a child, a child no less, go on a murder spree? Haia's focus grew back to the path ahead and remains her lead.
Haia inspected the mansion silently, her eyes laid on the ruins of once was probablu a pretty looking sight. Haia could imagine the items that were once clean and no longer rags like they are on the ground like before. Haia could think up the many days were the glass once reflected light brightly as the day bathed the mansion in its solar rays. Haia looks up towards the moon as they entered the courtyard, its square figure giving the old worn place a bit of charm still. However, the disturbing sight of the tree sent bone chilling shivers through her body. The countless paper tags attached to its leafless branches gave it the eerie sight of something strong occult, or very religious. Whatever the reason behind such a thing, Haia showed almost no interest. Instead her eyes was on the moon. It looks rather...
Then Haia heard Julius burst and before suddenly seeing Julius trying to bang open the doors. Haia draws her bowstring and points around, growling to herself as she aimed the arrow. Whatever this Lilith was planning, Haia was not going to greet it happily and will make sure to make it look like a pin cushion by the time she is done.
