Modeling 101

In a small hotel near the East Forest, Kanrya had checked into a hotel for a job that she was supposed to do tomorrow modelling for Sorcerer Weekly and was going to be fitted by the designer that they had brought in for this. In the meantime she waited idly as she began warming up the strings of her violin. She quietly began low, sad and slow before it turned to determination, soaring into a faster past, to one could almost say a joyful playful tune, almost fairy-like in a way.

As she played she looked out into the forest occasionally seeing the deer and boar at the edges of the forest itself. That was until she had heard them beginning to set up lacrimas, and other photography equipment nearby to get ready for the morning shoot. She sighed softly, putting down her violin and bow as she heard a knock on her door before allowing the designer to enter.

My name is Chanelle. Darling it's a pleasure to meet such a gorgeous young woman such as yourself. Fit? Yes. Athletic? Of course! Attractive? We'll see when we get you cleaned up and making sure the outfits are just right... The older woman said as she ushered the gunslinger towards a makeshift dressing room to try on different outfits for tomorrow.

After going through the process of trying the outfits on that were more of an eco-friendly theme yet made her look feminine, Kanrya had gotten some sleep only to wake bright and early by the goings on of the photography crew. Two outfits had been picked out, one feminine and the other a little more down to earth that still fit the eco-friendly theme.

Seeing as how this was Kanrya's first time modeling for anything like this, they seemed to take that into consideration as they snapped the pictures. For now she was wearing lightly applied make up with a very feminine outfit almost ephemeral in nature, one hand on the tree as she looked up at the sky.

A few other pictures happened in that dress, where her hair normally bound into a tight ponytail had been brushed to a glossy shine and set around her shoulders in a soft flowing look, her head down, a thoughtful look portrayed on her face as if almost at one with nature, her right hand placed upon the trunk of the tree.

Someone handed her a kitten, while it produced a feeling of astonishment and uncertainty, hearing such a plaintive mew and feeling the little body practically vibrate from the purring, she quickly smiled extending a finger, which the kitten mouthed before licking.

There was a brief outfit change into the second outfit and her make-up was redone as well as braiding some parts of her hair, a feather stuck into it, giving it a more complex look as well as an exotic feel of mystery to go with the eco-friendly. The outfit in question had a the fantastical whim of a gypsy, in the sense it made ones thoughts invoke the commune between nature and the nomadic lifestyle.

This lifestyle Kanrya had been used to until she had joined Sabertooth. She had been more or less a gypsy in name, she just didn't buy into the gaudy outfit choices. In essence, she had always felt that one should be less conspicuous, more stealth; that way if need be one could skirt away from any opposition quietly.

A light blue peasant blouse, a multi-colored skirt, followed closely with bangles, hoop earrings gave her a nice earthy look, along with a wooden stave and of course the mischievous look in her eye brought together the outfit nicely. It may not have been a photo shoot set up for adventurous, but who said to be eco-friendly you had to be delicate?

Kanrya twirled the staff in hand and set it across her shoulders showing off her tattoos and giving the camera a sidelong grin it was about time that she had fun with this...

She heard the camera snap a few more times as she did various poses and smiled for the camera. While it was true she was a quiet person she did enjoy the mobility and sense of purpose her new life in a guild had come to offer her.

After the photo shoot was done and over with and she was back in her own clothing, she chuckled. Maybe she would have to model again for Sorcerer Weekly. She just hoped they wouldn't make her wear anything that girly again.
