The time has come for Rose Garden's blood drive! The person running it has asked for legal mages to assist in doing the drive to make the patients feel a bit more at ease. They have a list of all legal mages, and the dress code requires no hats or hoods to be worn inside. Dark mages are instantly arrested, but those with a neutral guild insignia that they willingly show are permitted. In short, you will be going around entertaining the children, serving food, serving drinks, helping those who had blood drawn walk to the dining area and catching them if they fall, as well as aiding to keep those who fainted from over heating.
Reward: Notice from the Magic Council for your selfless efforts.
After defeating the gigantic gingerbread man, the smell of freshly baked cookies was subduing. The people were all gathering to see what had just happened.
Poom was not much for crowds, so he immediately started to go to help on the Magic Council's annual blood drive.
The blood drive was a very famous event in Fiore, every three months most legal mages came here to help with some small stuff like entertaining the children, serving food, serving drinks, helping those who had blood drawn walk to the dining area and catching them if they fall, as well as aiding to keep those who fainted from overheating.
This was Pooms first time and he was very excited.
When he came to the center there were many people both magical and unmagical, some in funny outfits, some in plain whites, so Poom fit right in.
When he was in front of the center, a small pink-haired girl approached Poom.
Hello, are you Poom Loom from Infinity Hydra? asked the pink-haired.
Poom was surprised by her sudden appearance, and with a shaky voice told that he indeed was Poom and that he came here to give blood and help around.
Thank you very much. We are so happy that you are here with us. Here wear this badge, so people know that you are one of the volunteers. To give blood, go left when you enter the building. said the pink-haired girl while crossing of his name on her paper and giving him the volunteer badge.
Entering the building Poom was astonished by the sheer number of people.
So much people. Everyone does a little and you have fully organized blood drive.
It is fascinating. said Poom still being able to fully comprehend the scope.
Poom wanted to give blood, and he was sure that doing it at the beginning would be the best for him and the drive as he would be out of the way so other people can give their blood.
This was Poom's first time being at the blood drive, but it was also his first time giving blood, so he did not know what to expect. Entering the room there was a small empty bed, and next to it stood an old nurse, with all equipment needed, all the needles, bags and straps.
After seeing him the old nurse gestured Poom to come and lie down, so she could take his blood.
Come here and lie down. Have you eaten today? Have you had enough water? said the old nurse.
Yes. I had enough water and food. replyed Poom.
The old nurse took Pooms hand, and put a needle in his arm, showing him what to do while he is giving blood. When he gave blood Poom felt pride and after being helped he joined the rest of the volunteers.
For the next couple of hours, Poom was going around the building helping donors, entertaining the children, serving food, serving drinks, helping those who had blood drawn walk to the dining area and catching them if they fall, as well as aiding to keep those who fainted from overheating.
When the evening came to an end, Poom went home and thought about all the things that have happen him.
