How strange. The young Miracle maiden only joined guild widely known as Savage Skull recently, yet she was already receiving job requests of the more… unorthodox kind. Was perhaps this side of world lacking in manpower? It was possible, especially with how intense the hunts for dark mages could be at times. But things like that did not really bother Leila all that much. For she appeared as simple girl, disabled even. While that was something that did not make her work easier, it certainly added to her mask that she was wearing oh so perfectly. Under normal circumstances, people would easily mistake her for a saint instead of the twisted individual that she truly was. That side of her only showed in specific situations and under certain triggers. Nothing that would happen in your daily life. Still, the letter that she was holding in her hands was completely unexpected. Organization known as Black Blood Brotherhood wanted her assistance, along with another mage from her guild. Someone she did not know. But as it would go, she didn’t really mind meeting other individuals, dark or otherwise. With a sigh, she pushed the wheels of her own wheelchair little bit further down the street, leaving the letter resting on her lap. One had to wonder how that thing even got to the lady in the first place. She didn't exactly have a home per say, at least not an official one. And the thought of other people just kinda stalking her as she went about her usual business, it was pretty unsettling even to someone that was considered a dark mage. She valued her privacy greatly because of her hobbies that normal human beings would consider vile. But there was probably not much use thinking about it now, as she seemed incapable of finding proper and truthful answer to the question that she herself proposed.

She was currently in place called Era where the headquarters of Magical Council lied. Place that was well secured for that very reason. And her mission was to infiltrate the place, as well as locate the room from where they would broadcast. But before any of that could be even thought about, she needed to wait for her partner. Because of her situation, she disliked having to go from place to place just to get things that were needed for completion of her jobs. And for that reason, Raiza was the one who had to go and pick up the bomb that they would then plant in the broadcast room. She did feel somewhat guilty for having him do all that, but in the end, it was just another piece of necessary work. She even already had her own plan of going about things too. And as per usual, it involved her innocent looks and nature. It was honestly something that she was quite proud of! At some point in her life, she heard a little saying. That the most horrific kind of evil is the kind that you cannot see because it can wear a pleasant mask. And while miss Rustyheart did not really consider herself to be evil, she certainly knew what side she had to stay on and not get punished for her uncontrollable desires. Looking around, she yawned slightly. It was still just a morning and she woke up not too long ago.

Perhaps it was not exactly the best idea to be doing these mission so early in the morning, but it could not be helped. After all, the broadcast had a certain schedule that had to be followed. And as it was to happen during the early afternoon, she just had to be ready by now. Though this kind of thing sometimes made her wonder why she didn't choose a different line of work. A gardener for example. In the end, she was only fine with all the slaughter because she wanted to bloom more spider lilies for herself. A strange obsession and dark, ancient rite. The girl wasn't even aware of the process that was taking place every time she did this. She did not understand what was happening in front of her own eyes, but followed through with it because she found it beautiful. Just like her obsessive nature. Why care how one acts if they look pretty and act cute? How many maidens did she kidnap and kill at this point? She lost count rather quickly, as she never really cared for the numbers. But the current one she had locked up in her hut? She was more promising than all the others, actually showing some obedience for once. She kinda wished that she could check up on her already, but that would become possible only once this job was finally finished.

Finally, she managed to get to the gate that would lead her up to the building of magical council. Honestly, it was so painful to move around sometimes. If only she had some sort of magic that could move the wheels of her chair. That would probably make things much easier for her. But that was not part of her abilities just yet. Though surely there was a tale of gods that would speak about magical puppetry or perhaps just telepathy. She just had to find it in a book or hear it from another living being. Perhaps her current partner would have one like that? Surely even dark mages had their gods that they would look up to, spread their stories and tales around. Moving further away from the place, she hid her figure in one of the darker alleyways. After all, it would probably be suspicious if she was to trade a briefcase with someone right in front of the guards. Her magical signature was loud and clear too, making sure that Raiza would have no problems locating her. As far as she knew, he was supposed to be stronger than she was. Surely someone like that would have no issues with magical signature location, yes? She was already displaying trust in someone she knew nothing about, how worrisome.

"I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself.
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself."

The quote could not be any more meaningful to when Raiza understood the situation. The black blood brotherhood, an organization that had recently taken hit after hit after hit. Even on the most recent job he did regarding them, they had lost members to death. Yet, they never felt sorry for themselves. Instead, the organization pushed forward as if nothing ever happened, always continuing forward. It was that approach that compelled Raiza to accept the job they messaged him. Though with realization he could easily discard and turn away such a job only meant who ever else the brotherhood had begged to take the job would be that much more on their own. All Raiza knew about his job partner was the member was supposed to belong to Savage Skull, and more so, was supposed to be a recent member. The name Leila held no meaning to Raiza, but their affiliation did. As so long as they were a member of the guild, Raiza sought out to aid members when the mood strikes.

A task had been given to him, recover the bomb that would be used. A simple task, but why such an unorthodox method as to use that kind of bomb with such small scale detonation? He knew what it was supposed to be long prior to even picking it up. In fact, he knew a lot about it, but still questioned it. Even the act of going off to go pick up the device made Raiza hate how intelligent the Black Blood Brotherhood really was. A range of 50 meters? Detonation kill range of five meters? What was this? A joke? Even C-grade explosive lacrima were twice that range. This wouldn't even qualify as a D-class explosive in size. However being a joke was far from the truth. This was a compact lacrima explosive that had one of the hardest magical signals to crack, as well as the intricate design. Anyone opening the briefcase would see paperwork, and not even realize the bomb was still there.Though despite all this, Raiza was going to put faith into why such methods were to be used rather than an outside large scale warhead. Even if this was some simple assassination, of a simple political figure. Though this job went beyond that while yet retaining the simplicity.

Acquiring the package was like nothing to Raiza, and in fact while he was remaining not just cloaked, but keeping his own magic near completely invisible. Unlike his job partner who made it abundantly clear where they were, he had to hide his presence. One tiny slip up and all of Era would be on his heels. This was the downside of being one of Fiore's eleven sinners after all. Infamy ran with his name, and face. Keeping a low profile was just part of what he had to do right now. Perhaps that was why he was teamed up with a newcomer to the guild. This newcomer wouldn't be known to the magical world all too well, and in fact, even if they were at all, the knowledge was innocence as was the look. At least, that came from Raiza's perspective from the moment he laid eyes upon Leila. His presence would have come by total mystery. His figure raising up from the shadows like a black ooze slowly taking shape until the dark magus stepped out of it with tendrils of darkness slowly detaching themselves from him.

'So this is my job partner hm?' Knowing full well to not judge a book by it's cover, Raiza only let out a smile before speaking. "Tone the magical signature down before we're both caught. Though smart move in spiking it temporary. I recommend we pre-plan a meeting spot next time, rather than just relying on our ability to improvise like we just did. Here is the package. I trust you can get it planted, and then we can go onto phase two". Reaching his hand of was only part of the conjuration as a dark red and black ooze began to shift, slowly materializing the briefcase.

"With your innocence, the 'job' should go down quite well. I'll be entering the building once objective three begins. This is to ensue no one pre-detects my magical energy prior to it happening. Once objective three happens, if you wish to stay off camera, then do so. I cannot promise anything in terms of reputation being the same if you don't conceal yourself. Today, we'll be making a statement, not just for the client's sake, but the guilds. When one of the sinners makes an appearance, it goes viral. We'll have a window of opportunity to execute phase 3 in it's fullest, and get out. While you're working on phase two, I'll be securing a way out of Era just in case they block teleportation magic."

Blocking teleportation was a easy common thing after all. Though one thing many did not account for would be the other methods of transportation. The ways Raiza had planned to lead an escape route open would be enough to allow them to get out, and head back into the nearby dense woodlands. One thing Raiza had learned was even the best hunter mages loose track once certain enchantments were used. The woods were the easiest, though admittedly, ever since Thorn's return, Raiza had been refraining from using the woods too much. Something about them being able to converse with Thorn made him... uneasy. So there was also transportation by sky, which was one plan Raiza had, though he had to wait just a bit longer for 'that' opportunity to arrive, and reach itself.

Passing Leila the detonator which was disguised as a cute fluffy pen, he grinned. "It seemed suiting. So here you are Leila, and welcome to the guild. Good luck, If anything goes wrong, spike your magic immediately." With that, Raiza began to have the shadows creep back onto his body. He would remain there to converse if needed. "If you have any questions, concerns, statements, now is the time to ask them. This mission is time sensitive yes, but we got here early enough that it wouldn't be unreasonable for me to fill you in on anything you need."

Leila waited and waited as her wheelchair slowly moved back and forth, bringing comfort to the girl ever so slightly. But perhaps something like that was not necessary in the slightest, as she did not have to wait too long. The shadows would gather not too far away from her, slowly revealing the figure of someone who was quite important to the guild of which's mark was now adorning her back. And because of that, she would put forth her best effort to form a warm and welcoming smile to greet the man. He was many times stronger than the Miracle Maiden and could have ended her at any point. But instead, he was sane enough to go through with this contract instead. It was also quite interesting to observe magical powers of another, what they could do and perform. An amazing ability indeed, one that she herself could probably never really reach. "My humble apologies, master Raiza. It would appear that I have no other way of contacting others, making the situation somewhat difficult. I will make sure to follow the rules better next time I find myself in situation such as this one." A sickeningly sweet smile followed each and every word that left the girl's lips, as she pushed the wheels of her chair forward. The briefcase now found itself back in the reality of Earthland as she accepted it from her partner, gently placing it onto her lap. Even from outside like this, it appeared to be perfectly normal object that people used daily without even thinking about it. A good choice indeed, as many of these would be present in this place today. Opening it for a moment, she saw all the papers and clipboards that were meant to mask the fact that this thing would explode even further.

A small plan was already forming in her head as she closed it back up, her irises returning their gaze onto the man in front of her. "I am glad to be working with a professional such as yourself, the knowledge and tactical mind you are showing is something to behold. I am sure you will know when to strike by the panic and loud noise from the explosion. However, you needn't worry about securing an escape route for me. I am merely another curious mage who is interested in this program, and I shall flee the scene with the very few others that may survive your assault. There will be something else assisting you in the attack, so there is no need to worry that you will be present alone either." She tried to inform him voice as cheerful as she could possibly manage, showing that she was interested in this whole ordeal. Was she merely trying too hard without a speck of honestly? Or was this actually a genuine reaction she had? The girl herself did not know anymore. Her mad mind was too unfocused on her own desires to properly analyze them. It was perhaps little worrying, but it would not impact this job in the slightest. It also showed that she did not wish to be revealed to the world in this manner either. Even though she heard of these 'sinners' and wished to become one of them. But that was solely because she wanted attention. Her loneliness was reason for most of her actions in fact. But that was topic for another time, as they should act with at least some haste. Taking the pink pen, she would place it atop the briefcase and make some distance between their figures again. "Thank you very much. I hope I can be of use to you and others. I am sure we will see one another after this is done, so see you then."

And with that, she would let him disappear into the shadows once more. Though once he did disappear, she opened her mouth as if she wished to say something else. But seeing as no words came out, she closed it again, the happy expression suddenly shifting into a sorrowful one. Pushing the wheels once more, she would eventually get to the main gate that was guarded quite heavily. With the smile on her face once more, she would greet the guards and state her business. While this event was quite important, many bystanders that showed interest in the subject were actually allowed inside. But only once they were properly scanned and searched of course. It was now that the bomb became truly useful, as it could not be found by anything. And just like that, the girl was allowed inside. She kinda wondered what her partner would be doing while all of this was going on. He did say that he would secure a way out of this mess if things were to go south, but was that truly all? It would be a while before they would actually start talking about the subject of dark mages and guilds, so he must have been at least slightly bored where he was. It probably wasn't the best idea to think about such matters right now, however. So instead, she just found a suitable place by the podium, one where several business men were already seated. And with how many things they had with them, it was quite easy to mix the briefcase in there, making it appear as if it belonged to one of them. After all, it would be rather suspicious to just leave her luggage in the place and quickly get away. This required slower approach as Leila endured few minutes of people talking about things that mattered not to her. And finally, it was time for her to form some distance. In her lap, only a small clipboard with papers and the pen remained. Perfectly natural looking, as she took on the role of someone who was very interested in all this, taking notes and putting them down on the paper. It was now that she wondered how would Raiza enter the scene again, although she probably already knew the answer.

When you think of contingency plans as an evil mage, what comes to mind? Many think of the same old same sort of get out of dodge type of contingency plans. Admittedly, Raiza has done that plenty of times. More often then not, his plans were simple planted explosives, cover fire from some snipers, and possible the all too potent use of hostage. However, not matter how many times these types of plans are executed they always have the same kind of flaw. Timing, it was everything, timing created a stress on the dark mages which caused slip ups. However, when you must not be allowed to worry about time, how do you progress? For Raiza this was not something he hadn't ever had to think of before. Most traps, or lures involved being able to travel faster than the chain reactions. However, thinking of his partner in all this, despite them saying there was no need for an escape route for them, only made the situation that much more intense.

Finally, after departing from the meeting point, Raiza would slowly materialize in another alleyway a number of blocks away. The sleek black ooze slowly crawling back away into the shadows while Raiza continued to step forward. "This should be far enough". His statement sounded as eerie as the appearance of the grin he bestowed upon his face. Each step forward was signaling the last seconds of life another being had. His plans required blood, and to fulfill that, he began to head out of the alleyway to stalk a potential prey. Which, did not take much time at all before Raiza returned with a victim in the same method of transportation through the shadows as before.

Except this time, Raiza had hold of a victim by an ankle, already the victim seemed unconscious, barely any wounds aside from bruising around the neck. A quick, painless death for once, was Raiza getting soft? Perhaps he had reasons to let the hostage feel less pain before decapitating them only to drag them around to form a large ritual circle of blood. Once the circle was formed, the body would be tossed away, towards the darkness only for a sleek black shadow to leave Raiza in order to go feast.

    "Keep it quiet, Twix"

His demand was towards the shadow that had left, it was his symbiotic pet he had been talking to. Well, symbiotic in the sense it was a defensive mechanism. Which the moment the flesh tearing, and bone crunching sounds began to fill the air, it was apparent as to why Raiza made that demand. Even a slight glance in the creature's direction made it not only slow down, but grow more quiet.

"Good, now, eat all you want. I have business to attend to". Clasping his hands together, the blood on the floor began to swirl around, forming an entire ritual circle along with eerie runic symbols. The ritual circle began to even have a dim, almost non existent glow. Though the glow seemed closer to a black hue than red. Once the preparation and the spell had began the entire activation process, Raiza was already in a seated position with his eyes closed, and darkness surrounding him.

"Imagine, resorting to this spell, a spell I've only recently began to use" His own snide comment accompanied by the dark aura that was already flooding the alleyway. Though, while it was a technique he was familiar with, Raiza had long been researching, and studying deeper dark arcane magic.

Speaking in a darker tone of voice in a language Raiza barely understood himself it was so inaudable that it sounded eerie even listening to it himself, though the moment the words were spoken the shadows from the dark aura surrounding him began to take form into that of small creatures. At first, it began to start with only smaller rodents, but then winged creatures such as locus and bats would form. Before even Raiza knew it, the swarm had grown in an immense size, dangerous enough that one single command would flood most of the city with such an apocalyptic terror. Perhaps even that was an over-estimation, but better to play something up, than to underestimate the power of both the reaper circle, and the abyssal ritual circle working in tandem together.

"Steady yourselves, creatures of dusk and dawn. Calm your hunger, your thirst, your desire, and your needs. This city is yours for the taking, only when the time is right. Upon my signal, you shall flood the city with darkness, assault anyone you so desire that does not belong to the guild. You have your orders, now slowly, and discretely, scatter until you've heard my call"

A sigh escaped Raiza's mouth, thinking of how to even signal them, though perhaps he was underestimating the creatures. After all this was no summoning, it was a manifestion of his magical power. They didn't have minds of their own, and Raiza had failed to realize that. THe creatures only scurried or flew away to separate themselves from the area only once Raiza had began to walk off and get ready to work on the last bits of the escape route and the contingency plans. In fact, would bombs be a good possibility? Perhaps, though he had his other methods. Especially now with the vampiric swarm having taken position all across the city, he was getting ready to finish up this phase of his side.
