The Temple of Yin and Yang
Back at the Magnolian household, Mura was getting a little curious of one thing that would soon play a major part of his life. Staying ignorant about it was killing him, so he decided to do what anyone would do to search for knowledge; read books. To put it shortly, he visited the great library in the capital, sought through tons of books for this specific theme, and found it among other books of foreign legends and mythologic folklores. To think that his magic was a mere legend didn’t mind him as he found it irrelevant; he was barely that experienced with it yet, so why give it such an outraging name? Its original name was more difficult, though, so perhaps he should continue. Anyway, this book that mentioned his magic once or twice was mainly about the overall concept of spiritual essences and beings out of their realms, the Yōkais. It was the first time that Mura ever heard of such a term, but it was strongly related with his title. As he had read through the papers, the Onmyōjis were, so to say, some sort of priests and Yōkai Hunters at the same time. Throughout the history, many events between them had taken place, but Mura’s knowledge was so limited that he barely found authentic containment in that.
He also read about this temple that was nearby here. That was the reason that one could see Mura in the background of the blue ice above the large seas, walking with slow steps to avoid slipping. Kyuken was soaring by his right shoulder, and Zirconis by his left. He wanted to take a look at the temple and perhaps get a wider insight of the overall topic. It was cold in these areas, way cooler than the winters in Magnolia, despite it being spring. His hair was bristling with cold. “Eeeehhhh… so coooold…” he complained while trying to warm himself using his hands and grind them up and down his arms, “It must be close… can any of you guys see the temple, yet?” Being busy looking around, Kyuken and Zirconis shook their floating heads. “Iya. This desert ice biome is totally empty… for now,” the samurai ghost replied…
