A mysterious person, Kaori lives her entire life behind a mask. Very few enemies have seen her face, even fewer have survived long enough to take a picture, and even fewer allies know. She uses the mask to symbolize how she has no true identity, and that anything her companions see is nothing more than a shell. Kaori values knowledge above most things, but values life more than knowledge. With the death of her clan, Kaori set out to find the people who killed them. Not for vengeance, but to prevent them from doing further harm to the living. While it does still pains her to think of her deceased family, Kaori knows that they'd rather she fought for the living instead of grieve for the dead.

While performing tasks with groups, Kaori prefers to be one of the ones taking orders but won't hesitate to deviate from them if she sees a better alternative. Her being a knowledge type, Kaori is able to envision the field around her and spot any places where she- or oter members of her team would have an advantage over their enemy, or places where their enemies would have the advantage over them. When fighting Kaori almost never seems to be trying, she's always calm, cool, collected, and calculative with her every action. Her training over the years has made her strong, and capable of adapting her her opponents' strengths and finding a weakness she can exploit.

While she is an elite warrior, Kaori is also by all definitions a girl. She has feelings that can get hurt, and can be weak at times. She has moments where she's insecure, and requires someone to help her get strong again. She gets embarrassed, and makes stupid decisions without thinking. And while she's never once fallen in love, she would like to know how it feels if only for a moment.

Kaori enjoys spending time in libraries reading about old wars and learning from them. While she's able to learn successful strategies and war tactics by reading about famous generals and their exploits, she's able to learn more by reading about infamous. Their mistakes, things they did that costed the lives of millions, lost battles, forfeited wars, demolished cities, and lead to their names forever being immortalized as a failure has been, and will always be Kaori's greatest teacher. It's easy to look at a great man and think of how you'd like to be them, but it's better to look at a failure and know to never repeat their actions.

Passion is another part of Kaori's character. The more things she has to fight for, the harder she'll fight. When her clan was under attack Kaori proved herself to be one of the most powerful members of the clan. It wasn't because she was among the fastest, nor the strongest, nor the best at magic. She was always average in those areas, but what made her truly lethal was for every member of her clan that got hurt, for every cry of pain, for every person screaming for her to run she got stronger.

Likes:
• Sleeping is essential for being active, and there's no point in staying awake if you've got nothing to do, may as well take a nap or two.
• While it's not very warrior like, Kaori likes flowers. They're pretty, and some of them smell good.
• Animals have always been Kaori's friends. She's able to speak with them, and they speak back, and sometimes they help her.

Dislikes:
• Losing sleep is generally bad, so anyone who wakes Kaori up is asking for a kick in the teeth.
• Much like those who interrupt her sleep, those who try to take her away from a book are begging to get smacked with whatever text she's going over.
• Fighting is something strange for a warrior to hate, but it's something that Kaori has an issue with. She wants peace, not war.

Motivations:
• The eradication of the clan that killed her own is Kaori's greatest desire. It's a desire so strong that it pushes her to fight as much as she hates it.
• A world where war is unnecessary, where murder doesn't happen, and pain isn't so prevelent. It's a child's fantasy, and she knows it, but she'll keep dreaming and fighting for that world even beyond the grave.
• Heroes are people who die for vain causes, throwing their lives away without caring about the after effect. Kaori will fight to make sure that she's the only one who has to die.

Fears:
• Ignorance is a circumstance where you don't know something your should. Kaori wishes to know what she needs, when she needs it and fears what would happen if she were unprepared.
• Kaori fears losing one of her friends because they desire to be a hero instead of her.
• While she's able to swim, Kaori's still afraid of drowning.

A white kimono top worn over a pink and black one with a red skirt. She's almost always wearing a cat mask that's made of metal coated in ceramic. The ceramic makes it so the mask doesn't conduct electricity, and the metal inside gives the mask some resilience. Naturally the mask isn't as good as actual armour, but it does have some use. On top of keeping her face free of most forms of damage, the mask conceals her face to make it so very few people know what she actually looks like. This is for the best since Kaori would rather as few people knew her as possible since that makes it so she has less people to put in danger. On her left shoulder blade is a black Lamia Scale tattoo that she's got no idea about how it got there, but she decided to ignore it since it causes no immediate issues.
