Era, the home if the Magic Council which presided over the world of wizards. What was Hero doing here, one may have asked? Well, he was called here by one of the Council members to discuss some urgent business, which was at the very least very rare. The last time Yamamoto was in this city, he had to bring a felon back to prison. Those were simple days but not missed days. What the giant was doing now was far more fun than what he was doing back then. The giant was told to meet near the base of the mountain where the Council was held so that was where he waited. Honestly, he never would have thought that this would be where he ended up a month ago. So much had happened in this short span of time that it was somewhat daunting. Hero's thoughts, however, were interrupted by an older-sounding voice and to his right was an older man in his late thirties or early forties. When he got closer, a hand was put forward and Hero grasped it with the equivalent hand.

"It is an honor to meet you, sir. I am going to assume this is very important. Important enough to personally summon a couple of wizards here."

"That's right, Hero. We're still waiting on someone else though so I'll wait until he arrives to get started on the briefing. There is a lot to talk about, and Fiore in general is pressed for time because of this ordeal."

Someone else? Well that was not surprising since this was something pretty large-scale for just one person to handle. The confirmation from the councilman just now informed the man that there was going to be some manner of explanation about this whole thing and it probably was not going to be anything positive. But who else was coming along? Yamamoto had the feeling that he was going to know who it was though. An event like this had his cousin's name written all over it. Then again, there was also no guarantee that it really was going to be him. It had been quite a while since they last went on a journey together. Not since they thwarted that mechanical army headed by Ein Heim, the behemoth from the future. If this was going to turn out to be something big like that again, Hero was going to have a full course meal with nothing short of Hell laced with hordes of enemies and topped with insurmountable odds. In hindsight, if that was going to be the case, at the very least it was going to be a lot of fun and it was going to be yet another experience the giant could put under his belt. Then again... hopefully two people was going to be enough.

Elyx himself did not get the request. One copy had been sent to the other guilds as well as his own, and it seems like he was not to get it, but one of his aces did rather. The Sky Slayer would end up having his feet placed up and his hands behind his head, looking up at the ceiling as he would begin to count all of the lacrima that was providing light for his office. Ignite would be by his side, sleeping on the couch that had been set. Not a single care in the world could be given by the both of them. It seems like they were able to have a peaceful life once he had everything straight. Considering how Ignite got her rifle, she was at peace. Considering how Elyx climbed up the ladder, he was at peace. There was about nothing left to do now once they finished all of the paperwork in excitement, so the She Phoenix would end up sleeping on the couch while he would relax. A smile on his face shown as he was in the peaceful state that he wanted to be in ever since he was in B rank. No jobs, no stress, no worry, no drama, nothing of the sort. It was a day to celebrate for sure, but even that would have been too much work and destroy any progress that he was looking to obtain. With that out of the way, he would end up placing his arms over his chest as he would then realize that his life had been rather exciting in all honesty. And no one could say that he had it boring. The peace that he fought for, while it was nice, it did not seem as fun as he thought it would have been. His body was in a healthy and rested state for sure, yet he still felt like something was missing. It was the fun and the dangers that he had that brought him up for sure. But it was also those dangers that gave him a lot of fun in his life. While being very tense, he would end up having a smile on his face, knowing the kind of enemy that he wanted to end up beating, and did so successfully in the process. How life was sweet indeed, it was almost as if the Sky Slayer missed it. However, he would shake his head and chuckle a little bit, thinking of how stupid an idea that would have been. It was not every day that someone could live without having a lot of things shooting through they mind. And at the end of the day, he would end up knowing that he had done his job. Yet despite this, he felt a little bit empty inside, and the Reiaki was unable to explain why. It was a damn shame, the Guild Master, who was supposed to look and support everyone, could not even answer himself.

Several minutes passed while waiting around for this other person and even Hero was starting to get a tiny bit annoyed. Then it donned on him. There was really only one person he knew well enough that he could acknowledge that they were not exactly the first people to jump at a crisis, especially if they were in a position of... comfort. It had to be his cousin, though he could not be one hundred percent certain until he actually asked the councilman. However, was he supposed to continue addressing him as "sir"? That was the most logical thing to do since the person was in a position of great authority but the issue was attempting to get his attention in the first place. He looked carefree enough in his appearance but his demeanor could have been vastly different. Knowing that, Hero gathered his thoughts and then spoke to the Council member.

"Excuse me, sir. The person we are waiting for... might it by any chance be Elyx Reiaki?"

The giant's voice was calm though slightly rough around the edges. It was proof of his past accomplishments and thus his experience. A moment later, the older man grinned and nodded before speaking in retort.

"That is a solid deduction, Hero. You're right, it is. Why do you ask?"

It was at that confirmation when Yamamoto pulled out a phone and swiftly dialed in a number that corresponded to Elyx's phone. He then pressed the phone to his right ear while pressing the talk button at the same time, the sound of ringing going through. When the phone would pick up with Elyx on the other side, the giant would speak in a slightly annoyed tone, though it was fairly obvious that he was speaking in a joking kind of manner.

"Elyx, you need to get your lazy ass over here to Era. I'm at the base of the Magic Council mountain with one of the councilmen. It's about that job the guild received this morning."

Seeing as he was just resting, the sudden yell from his cousin would allow the Sky Slayer to go back into the other world he had been thinking about. The one where all he thought about were jobs and nothing else. So many times he ended up risking his life, and so many times he ended up getting lucky. During the one of the few times where he was not actually in the job center, he found his cousin, that being Hero. Due to this, he was able to make a tie with him and declare him one of the three Aces of his guild. There was a fourth that he had been considering, but he had just been so tight on money as of currently and could not make the space. So with that, he would then begin to think of ways that he could do it. And this was one of them, a job. Answering in a just as annoyed voice, he would answer the phone before then hearing the obnoxious voice of his cousin. Boy, don’t make me come over there with the rest of the councilmen! The Reiaki would exclaim back through the phone. It was indeed important, seeing as the council had to get involved. Elyx and the king of Fiore were on very good terms, so he could just about summon as many people from the council as he felt. However, it was all in good fun. Ignite was awake by this time, a bit annoyed about how she was interrupted from her sleep. Wait for me over there, I’ll be there in a minute. This was said from the Guild Masters office of Golden Phoenix. It was a pretty tall mountain, and a minute was a pretty bold claim. Elyx still went along with it anyways, full well sure that he was able to do it. Ignite would look over to him before shaking her head, not wanting to take part on the job. It was fine, he did not need her anyways. The guild job, whatever it was, was going to be looked into by the Guild Master if it was so important that one of the chairs had to respond to it. Also, this better not be a prank. Because, I can definitely do you one better if it is. The Reiaki would explain before then jumping up from his chair, hanging up the phone, and blurring with the wind.

"Yeah, yeah. See you when you get here, Elyx."

As the man hung up the phone, he sighed and shook his head side to side and then chuckled a bit. Despite being such an accomplished wizard, that cousin of his really was still only just out of adolescence. It was understandable though that this demeanor was only really kicking in now that he reached the pinnacle of magic prowess in Fiore, at least among legal wizards. For quite a while now, Elyx worked hard day in and day out or at least that is what Hero figured. In a way, the Reiaki was a role model for the giant who only just recently started becoming a valuable wizard to the country as a whole. It was because of him that Yamamoto was able to even get started on this path. Beyond that was Hero's will to follow onto a path with conflict and strife in its wake. Then again, it ended up being rather enjoyable, all the travels he had gone on; all the different people he met; the reputation he worked hard to build with the common people. These thoughts were interrupted by the councilman who had a hint of curiosity in his voice.

"You and Elyx seem rather close to have that much trust in his speed."

The giant chuckled a few times before answering relatively politely with his experienced, confident tone.

"Sir, I do happen to be extremely close to Elyx. After all, he is my cousin. As for his speed? Well sure he can be kind of a slacker when he doesn't have any duties, but if he says he will be here in a minute, he will be here."

Yamamoto was confident in the Sky God Slayer's ability to travel through the air fast enough to keep his word within reason. As soon as Elyx arrived, it was going to be time to get this show on the road. This was the giant's time to really show his cousin how far he had come in the time that they did not work together.

Runnng on the air via the effect of Bound Iris allowed him to travel over the air as if it were the ground. The Phoenix Islands would immediately be left from the scene as Stella allowed him to steal the air speed, allowing him to move at nearly a blurring speed. It was not the fastest thing he actually went at, but it was enough to get towards the mountain in the promised time. The trip was rather easy actually for him, the weather was nothing too violent, a clear sky with a bit too much heat from the sun, but the burns were healed by his blood, which took in the wind of the skies easily as they were able to brush against the skin. While he felt this free, he would end up locking his light brown eyes down onto the ground, seeing that the Phoenix Islands were no longer within range anymore. Seems like he had left his home for now, but he’ll return soon. For now, he had a job to do, and he was going to have to be reminded about what it was supposed to do for him. One thing that was weird, they had to get a magic council member for it? How crucial could it be that they were going to have to take a council member with him. Considering how he was able to get up and do 100 year jobs without having even the king batting an eye towards him, at this point, why would they need the favor of the authorities. It was fine though, now that the royal castle was in his favor, there was no real reason to say no to whatever they wanted. And in a way, Golden Phoenix had more power than the Magic Council thanks to the On Wings of Fire and Ice job. With the kings permission, it’s pretty much them in control. As he would move, he would notice the mountain that needed to be landed on, as well as two visible figures out in the distances. Going off of his assumptions, he would launch himself towards that direction before hitting the ground with the soles of his feet, but in a gentle manner as he stopped himself all of a sudden. This allowed him to merely float back down onto the ground, the soles being the first to hit the ground. The rest of his being would move back onto the ground. Hero knew Elyx better than most that if he says he'd do something, he will do it. It took only a little more than a minute for the young man to come soaring down from the sky and onto the ground where he introduced himself casually, as though he had just been out for a walk. His cousin's Magic prowess was still amazing to see, though it was not like the giant had seen it in action several times anyway. With the First God of Ishval now present, the councilman spoke in a serious tone though his body language stated that he cared less about this matter than the fact that the two wizards were legitimate family.

"Glad you could join us, Elyx! There have been letters going out about an undead presence fanning out from Peace Village. As the more capable wizards I keep track of, I'd like you two to go out there and take care of whatever is stirring up trouble. Simple enough, right?"

The council member's demeanor was slightly irritating to Hero but he did not show it at the moment. More importantly, this was a very broad-ended request for something that was supposed to be urgent. Perhaps it felt that way because of the one who was doing the briefing. Regardless, this was the first time Yamamoto had to deal with the undead. Was this sort of thing normal as well? He was certain though that Elyx had some ideas on how to take care of them. It could not have been more difficult than what he had come into contact with up until now at the very least. The giant turned slightly so that he could look at his cousin and then he spoke in a confident manner.

"Guess this means we have some work to do. The guild can get some good rep from this sort of thing, right?"

To someone who was a complete stranger never would have noticed, but Elyx probably could tell that Hero was definitely irritated by the uncaring attitude the councilperson portrayed. Hopefully, the two wizards could get underway before the giant ended up doing or saying something he may have ended up regretting.

They did not seem to know what was going on, so this was classified as a higher ranking job so that they could go check up on what was going on. Eh, it was nothing that the Reiaki could claim was wrong. It honestly sounded like free money to him. Of course, if there really was something that needed to be handled, they could do that. But if it was just another investigation job, then that should be easy. It was the mindset that had been placed in Elyx these days, considering the many enemies he had to take on in the past, just searching for something was honestly not that big of a deal. The amount of jewels being offered was not too bad, but it was for such a job that could be done by the lower ranks with a bit of backup. Again however, it was not in his place to complain. It sounded easy, so there was no need to rub the salt into the would. With that, the council member would explain the situation, and then the Guild Master would formally bow as if he had finished a music piece in a concert. Both of his hands in his pockets, body moved forward a bit, then raised back up. Yes sir, this should be an easy task. We will handle this. He would then be told how it would raise the reputation of the council if that was needed. At this point in time, Elyx felt like that was already something his guild had. When he had to fight for the royal castle against the beings of fire and ice, the king gave him his favor. The king controlled the magic council, so basically, Golden Phoenix was already in the favor of the both of them. But no need to ruin the comment of the Ace. Most certainly. This is a job for the council itself. But why do you think it was labelled the way it is? It looks to be a recon job... Not something I would quite consider to be labelled the ranking it had been ranked. Wouldn't you agree?

It seemed Hero and his cousin were on the same page with this matter, though it did not help that the councilman put it in such a way that distorted the importance of the task. Then again, it may have been just as likely that it really was not as important as it was initially labeled. The only way to find out was to head over there and see the village for themselves. Of course, it was also to their benefit to look into this for the fact that it would help bolster the guild’s already decent reputation. “There has to be some reason for it and that is probably where we come in. No matter what it is, though, we should be able to manage just fine. Shall we go?” Hero was confident he could keep up with Elyx now when it came to travel. They could probably get to the village in less than fifteen minutes if they both booked it, unless the young man wanted to use that teleportation spell from the last time they worked together. At the very least, this was going to be a fun reunion type thing between the two family members. Little did he know that today was going to get a lot more entertaining than actually serious. “So what will it be? Travel on foot or travel by teleport?” Knowing Elyx, though, he was probably going to pick the teleporting option since he was on the lazy side of the activity scale. Come to think of it, Hero and him would have made a great comedy duo in another time considering the ways in which they were different. Too bad.

If one were to assume that Elyx was too lazy to move around, that was correct. He indeed did not really like to bother by traveling on foot. but for them to teleport required him to use Yuni. And even if he were willing to sacrifice some of his magic to cast out Yuni, he would need to change some of her memory... She has never been to that location before. Peace Village was somewhere even the Sky Slayer ventured towards. Let's go on foot. Yuni has never been there, teleportation would be impossible I'm afraid. Heck, I've never even gone there either. he'd explain as he placed his hands in his pockets and looking down from the ledge of where they were standing on. The closer he was to the sky, the closer to home he felt. The air has a weird rich taste, but it was enticing to him. However, he had to resist the urges to take a good portion of it for himself. After all, he was in front of a council member, if not for the sake of formality. They were going to have a long way to go if they agreed to go on foot. That was expected, but that was Elyx's usual transportation anyways. His legs have endured the worst of travels, which should be very odd for a musician to have to do in the first place. But the results were definitely worth the struggle.

"Sounds like this village doesn't get very much traffic. Probably explains the name. No time like the present though, so lets get going." He gave Elyx a wide grin along with a thumb in the upward direction and then started a light jog along the path that led out of the city. Undead. Hero had never actually fought against undead before, in his many unique experiences, so he was quite unsure how to deal with them. It was likely going to be a good idea to ask his cousin about them since he probably had experience with this sort of stuff. Then again, it may have been more simple than the giant may have expected to believe. It was very possible all it would take would be to knock them down until they stayed down, which definitely would have been significantly easier than the most likely alternative. Considering the fact though that the Magic Council called them, it was probably an urgent matter, which meant this was not actually a time for casually jogging; even though each of his jogging strides matched five to ten strides of more or less anyone else, the point still stood. Knowing that, the giant began to pick up the pace, increasing both the length of his strides and the speed at which his feet touched the ground each time. In the meantime, however, he spoke aloud to Elyx and began to start up some small talk. This was likely going to be a long trip. "Hey, so how are things going at home? How's the missus? I hear that you're looking toward taking it a little easier with the traveling."
